Stable 273, a forgotten relic from before the world ended, would have been a trove of treasures for Snowball and Glass. All they had to do was brave the unrelenting climate and other dangers of the wasteland, following the sole marker in a near-broken PipBuck.

Sometimes however, things don't work out as planned. With the cold and darkness creeping ever closer, the two reflect over the adventures they went through and the ponies they met. Together they face the eternal question: what was more important? The journey or the destination?

Originally written by me for an Fo:E writing competition back in 2017. I decided to give the story a proper proofreading and publish it to FiMFiction.
