The Life of Rainbow StarFlight
1: The day before his birthday Pt. 1
It has been just under one year since Rainbow StarFlight and Silva Dash entered the world. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle got married a month after Twilight and Rainbow Dash's wedding, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich(Pandemonium) got married the month after them, Rarity asked Zephyr Breeze out the day after Pinkie Pie's wedding (guess he was asked to be one of Cheese's groomcolts). Now it is time for Pinkie to start planning a birthday party.
At around 6 am on December 3rd
"So are we doing a 1 year or a 10 year birthday?" Pinkie Pie joked.
"10!" Silva and StarFlight yelled in unison.
"Okay, just wanted to be sure before I finished designing the cake?" Pinkie Pie sighed.
"Ugh," StarFlight sighed.
"Woof," Silva mocked, (translation: "She sure is mean sometimes").
"I am not mean, I am fun!" Pinkie Pie retorted back.
"How did you ev-, you know what nevermind I don't want or care to know,"
"Spike Hoof Elements..... Ignus Spike...... Cheese Rarity AppleJack Zephyr Yak," Silva said.
"Eeyup!" Big Mac said out of nowhere.
"Agreed," StarFlight stated.
"That's not fair you created that on the spot!" Pinkie Pie accused.
"No, that is just a simple code that using people, objects, concepts, and places instead of letters," StarFlight explained.
"You win this one, for now," Pinkie Pie said, menacingly.
"Ooohkaay, Aunt Pinkamena," Silva said putting emphasis on her name.
"¿ǝɯ llɐɔ ʇsnɾ noʎ pᴉp ʇɐɥʍ" 
asked.
"Nothing!" Silva and StarFlight screamed in unison again.
"Okay!" 
said, gleefully.
Rainbow StarFlight started up a spell of his own making, called Twin Mental Connection, allowing him and Silva read each other's thoughts, 'She really scares me sometimes,' StarFlight said to Silva through the spell.
"Spearmint Sticks!" Pinkie Pie yelled.
Twilight walks into the room where Pinkie Pie is setting up, "Why are you mad, Pinkie?" Twilight asked.
"How did you know I was mad?" Pinkie Pie asked her, confused.
"You scream 'Spearmint Sticks' every time your well-passed being furious," Twilight explained.
"I know why you are mad, but why do you scream 'Spearmint Sticks' when you are mad?" StarFlight asked.
Twist appeared into the room and yelled, "Because Spearmint Sticks don't exist!!!" Then she ran out of the room.
"Okay, I guess that answers my question, but why not just yell something closer to buck?" Silva asked.
StarFlight smacked Silva. "Idiot! You know better than to say that word," StarFlight scowled.
"Rainbow Casia StarFlight don't hit your brother!" Rainbow Dash scowled. Silva laughed a little.
"And Silva, you know better your brother is right, you know not supposed to say that word," Twilight said, calmly.
"You two are to go to your secondary rooms. Also, Twi, can I talk to you for a second in the other room?" Rainbow asked.
"Sure," Twilight replied. Twilight looked at Silva and StarFlight, "Also if you two think this conversion is over then you are both very wrong and don't think about going to your primary rooms either, they are both locked, sealed, and blocked," Twilight said to them.
Rainbow StarFlight and Silva go up to their dual service secondary room instead of their separate rooms. "Silva, you can talk naturally in here, honestly I prefer it that way," StarFlight told his twin.
"Nah, our moms are right I should try speaking ponyish more and the word differences are fun sometimes too," Silva stated.
"Suit yourself, want to play O&O? Or do you want to go to Canterlot?" Rainbow StarFlight asked Silva.
"Can you really teleport us from here?" Silva asked, surprised that his twin even suggested such an absurd idea.
"Yes, I have been practicing and I accidentally teleported in on Luna's bath time from my true room," StarFlight stated.
"Grab the bits from our rooms, we are going to need them," Silva told him.
Rainbow StarFlight took his glasses off his face. He then charged his horn engulfing his whole body in magic. Silva even ~~used~~ smashed one of the many magic crystals that he makes from his link with his twin and his moon dog magic. After about 5 minutes two large bags of bits appeared in front of them for use, but they were then transformed into two much smaller enchanted bags that can carry a lot than a standard bag, the bag had two slots for magic crystals that Silva quickly filled. After he finishes that spell he asks Silva, "Can I have a couple of those magicka potions that you keep making?"
"Sure, have 3 of them I have made a lot recently," Silva replies.
Rainbow StarFlight drinks all three of them very quickly, causing him to start hickuping. Silva scares him. "Thanks, bro. That was mean, but it was very much needed," StarFlight thanks.
Rainbow StarFlight starts to charge up his horn again engulfing his whole body once more, but this time it also engulfs the bags of bits, Silva, StarFlight's glasses, two journal-style books on the bookshelf, a few quills, and two portable inkwells. After a few seconds, they teleported out of the castle and into the Canterlot, the capital of Equestria, at the city's theater.
"Why are we at the theater, I was thinking of the Library of Magic?" StarFlight questioned. He then notices that Silva's eyes are sparkling. "Fine, one show but after that, we are going to go to the Library of Magic, okay?" he concedes.
"Okay, also why do you have Ligna with you?" Silva asked.
"He just decided to start following me recently I am starting to think he became my familiar. He must have teleported here with us which furthers my reason to believe he is my familiar. Wherever I go my familiars go, heck even Cuddles is in my mane this little spider just won't let go no matter what, and Ignis is always with you, I still don't know how Philomena's oldest daughter became your familiar but I am cannot really speak I have a dwarf timberwolf," StarFlight said.
'Bark. Bark.' Ligna barked.
"What's wrong, boy?" StarFlight asked Ligna. "Hey bro, did you understand any of that?" StarFlight asked Silva.
"Only bits and pieces but from what I can tell he seems to be hurt and I think it might be internally," Silva said, sorrowfully.
"Well, it's a good thing we are in Canterlot than," StarFlight stated.
"Why is that? Wouldn't it be better if we were at Aunt Fluttershy's or at least in Ponyville?" Silva asked, very confused.
"While Aunt Fluttershy is great with animals she knows nothing about dwarf timberwolves but she said one of her old colleagues knows a lot about them, somepony named Lost Lore, I think. She has been taking care of rare and endangered animals for a really long time, at least according to Aunt Fluttershy," StarFlight explained.
"Let's go there first we don't want Ligna to ruin the show for anypony and I need to get Ignis a checkup, maybe some vaccinations, if necessary. Two ~~birds~~ problems one ~~stone~~ solution kind of deal," Silva exclaimed.
"Okay, we are going to have to ask for directions though I don't know where it is," StarFlight stated.
"What about that pony over there? She seems like she knows her way around Canterlot and that dog that is following her means she might have been to an animal clinic here," Silva suggested.
"But she looks like she is in a hurry. We can ask her but we should try to be very nice she seems to be trying to avoid ponies," StarFlight says, blushing slightly.
Rainbow StarFlight and Silva start trot over to the pony, Rainbow StarFlight still blushing. Silva takes notice of his brother’s blush, “Bro, you might want to stop blushing before we get to her, you might scare her with that kind of blush you look redder than Big Mac.”
“Borf Bark Borf Bark Bark Meow!” StarFlight yelled. {Translation: I am not blushing!"}
“Bark Bork Bark Meow Borf Bark,” Silva mocked. {Translation: Yes, you are blushing, look at yourself.} Silva pulls out a mirror from one of his many pockets and points it at Rainbow StarFlight’s face. When StarFlight looks at the mirror he sees that he is blushing so much it looks like someone cut him across his muzzle with a knife. This only causes him to blush even more now making his face look like it is covered in blood.
“Ugghhh! Fine, this calls for desperate measures,” Silva grumps. ‘I was hoping not to have to reveal this picture to my brother but desperate times call for desperate measures,’ Silva thought to himself. Silva puts his mirror back in its pocket. He then opens one of his pant’s pockets and pulls out a small photo album. He flips through the album looking for a very specific picture. When he finds it he gently and very carefully pulls it out, turns it around, and very carefully put it back in the album.
“Bro if you don’t stop blushing I will make you stop. I don’t want to stoop so low but if I have to I will use this,” Silva says shaking the photo album a little. StarFlight’s blush only intensifies. “What the hell do you think I have in here? Wait, don’t answer that I don’t want to know,” Silva stated. Silva opens the shirt pocket that he stores spell crystals in and pulls out a mental projection crystal and puts the crystal in the slot in the cover of the photo album. He holds up the photo album to his head, thinks of the picture he means and recites the words, “Locus Imāgō Quindecim Intrā Ille Cogitatus Ex Arcus Casia StarFight! Locus Imāgō Quindecim Intrā Ille Cogitatus Ex Arcus Casia StarFight! Locus Imāgō Quindecim Intrā Ille Cogitatus Ex Arcus Casia StarFight!” After he finishes reciting the words a magic aura engulfed Rainbow StarFlight’s entire head, after a few seconds Rainbow StarFlight’s blush only intensifies even more, but now Silva now has a blush as well. “Bro, please tell me what you saw in moon dog,” Silva commanded.
“Borf Borf Bark Bork Meow Meow Hiss Bork Bark Borf!” Rainbow StarFlight says angrily. {Translation: I am hoping that you messed up that spell because what I saw was a NSFW picture of Soarin}
“No, you saw what I meant for you to see but I…,” Silva began before changing dialects, “Bork Bark Bark Meow Bork Bork Bark Borf Meow Bark Bork Meow.” {Translation: I thought you were strictly heterosexual so I figured showing you a picture of Soarin would whip the blush right off your face}
“Bork Bark Meow?” Rainbow StarFlight asked. {Translation: Why do you have that picture?}
“Bark Meow Borf Meow Bark,” Silva replied. {Translation: I told our moms that I was gay and Rainbow mom gave me an old XXX magazine that she bought before our moms got together.}
Rainbow StarFlight lit up his horn to cast the Twin’s Mental Link spell again. ‘Okay, but why didn’t you tell me then I am your brother, twin brother none the less, seriously both of our parents are bisexual and in a lesbian relationship you think I would care if my brother isn’t straight,’ StarFlight thought.
‘You make a good point, but why didn’t you cast this spell beforehoof?’ Silva asked through thought.
‘I didn’t have enough magic before I still needed to recover from the 450-mile teleportation,’ StarFlight thought while being annoyed. Rainbow StarFlight then had the stray thought thinking, ‘Idiot.’
‘You know I can hear you so try to keep your thoughts under contr…,’ Silva started to think before Rainbow StarFlight started to smirk and think some NSFW gay thoughts. Silva then grabs a spell crystal from his pockets and recited the words, “Cancel mentis duritiam incantatorum tuorum vehementem omnia mei! Cancel mentis duritiam incantatorum tuorum vehementem omnia mei! Cancel mentis duritiam incantatorum tuorum vehementem omnia mei!” After that, he thought a few NSFW thought to make sure the spell worked.
“That was not fair and you know it,” both Rainbow StarFlight and Silva said at the same time.
“Here,” StarFlight said, giving him 20 bits from his bag, “I know it was me who caused you to find a need to cast that spell and it is my turn on the jynx chart,” StarFlight apologized.
“Hey, where did that filly go?” StarFlight asked, looking around.
“Probably ran off when she heard us yelling at each other,” Silva suggested. “Guess we will have to ask somepony else for directions to the Animal Clinic here.”
Thirty minutes later
"Finally we found it after asking 12 ponies," StarFlight said.
"Maybe if you didn't ask everypony you saw we would have found it sooner," Silva mocked.
"Sorry, I just didn't want to go and look for a pony who is almost guaranteed to know where the Clinic was. I figured it would have been quicker to just ask everypony we saw," StarFlight explained.
"Let's just get inside so we can get Ligna to Lost Lore," Silva stated.
"Fine," StarFlight conceded. The two of them then walked up to the building and read the sign for the Clinic.
"First off, that is a very long name. And Secondly, who names an animal clinic, "The Canterlot Animal Clinic for Endangered and Exotic Animals" that is just too much for anypony to say," Silva explained.
"It could be worse," StarFlight expressed. Silva just shrugged and said nothing. They then went inside and walked up to the counter where they were greeted by a middle-aged earth pony mare with blue-rimmed bifocals.
"Hello and Welcome to The Canterlot Animal Clinic for Endangered and Exotic Animals, the only place to get a cure for the most exotic animals in all of Animalia! I am Local Lore, what may I help you with?" Local Lore said, in a very irritated tone.
"I need to get my familiars checked for any injuries, especially Ligna here," StarFlight said holding up Ligna in his mouth.
"Is that a dwarf timber wolf?" Local Lore squeed.
"Yes, it is. I forgot to mention my brother here needs to get his phoenix looked at as well," StarFlight said pointing to Silva.
"I don't mean to sound rude but who would adopt a diam-," Local Lore started to say before Silva shut her muzzle with his paw.
"I don't mean to cut you off," Silva mocked. "But I am not adopted, I am not a -ughh- diamond dog, I am a moon dog, I am, as far as Princess Luna and I know, the only one of my kind on Animalia in this realm, and I am his biological twin brother," Silva explained with an annoyed tone, he then removed his paw from her muzzle.
"Okay, can I get you a checkup then too? My sister would love to give a checkup to another moon dog," Local Lore asked kindly.
"Su- wait, another moon dog?" Silva questioned.
"Why yes. My sister and I have a moon dog, although she prefers witch wolf, her name is Dark Nebulus," Local Lore explained.
"She is a witch wolf?!" Silva gasped.
"Yes, why?" Local Lore asked, completely confused.
"May I see her?" Silva asked, reaching into his lowest pant pocket and pulling out a pitch-black crystal.
"Sure, let me just get her," Local Lore said before going through the door behind her.
"Bro cast spell B82X on me, now!" Silva commanded.
Rainbow StarFlight casts a dark spell onto Silva.
Silva mouths out thank you towards Rainbow StarFlight. Rainbow StarFlight then mouths out you're welcome.
After 2 minutes of waiting Local Lore walks through the door with what looks like a white moon dog.
"Hey Dark Nebulus catch this," Silva commands throwing the black crystal at her chest. Dark Nebulus dodges the crystal. "Lupus ad absorbeat pythonissam!" Silva recites very quickly. Dark Nebulus leaps towards Silva. Silva quickly smacks the gem on his right arm and quickly recites another spell, "clypeus!" causing a large 6-inch thick tower shield to appear on his arm. After about 20 seconds of Dark Nebulus trying to grab Silva, the crystal turns white. "Bro, shoot a magic blast at the crystal," Silva yells. Rainbow StarFlight shoots the crystal and it turns into a small black portal that grabs onto Dark Nebulus with a white tongue and sucks her into the portal before disappearing.
"What did you just do!?" Local Lore cries.
"Don't worry I only sent her to Princess Luna like I was told to," Silva explained, "If she really is a moon dog then you will see her soon, but if she is actually a witch wolf then she will be killed. This is because witch wolves are a cursed race created by King Sombra that end up cursing ponies who are unlucky enough to meet them. Now if I am keeping track of time correctly then another portal should appear right about ...... now," Silva said, as he predicted a portal appeared right above where the old one was. After a couple of seconds, a letter appeared out of the portal and the portal closed.
Rainbow StarFlight grabs the letter with his magic and starts to read out loud, "Dear Ms. Local Lore we are afraid to inform you contrary to what Silva told you Dark Nebulus, while she is actually a moon dog, cannot return to you for a few days this is because she has a black dragon curse and we intend to remove the curse and don't worry we do know what we are doing we have removed this curse before. Dark Nebulus just has to stay with ~~me~~us for a few days so we can get the curse out of her. Also Rainbow StarFlight you need to give the letter to Local Lore now because the next part is for her eyes only." The letter's text turns white for every word after that for about four and a half lines. Rainbow StarFlight gives the letter over to Local Lore.
Local Lore reads the letter and when she reaches the point Rainbow StarFlight left off the white text turns red. It reads, 'Now Ms. Local Lore I know you must be worried about the horrible disease that the black dragon curse is suppressing but you do not need to worry about it we will cure her of the disease as well. You may now give the letter back to Rainbow StarFlight.' Local Lore gives the letter back to him.
Rainbow StarFlight grabs the letter and the personal text turns white again and he continues, "Now before StarFlight reads the rest of this we will need Lost Lore out here to hear the rest of this letter." After Local Lore gets her sister, Lost Lore, from the back Rainbow StarFlight continues, "Now that Lost Lore is here it must be said out loud that Dark Nebulus should return in about three days unless we find out that she really was a true Witch Wolf otherwise she will be returned. Now, this letter must stay in the possession of Local Lore and Lost Lore as you Rainbow StarFlight and Silva will never be able to read it again due to the fact that this scroll is enchanted to keep them informed on the progress my team and I make with Dark Nebulus."
"So let me get this straight you two come in here for some reason and then send my daughter to Princess Luna without my permission, that correct?" Lost Lore asks, in an angry tone.
"Yes, but that is what Princess Luna, my moms, Aunt Fluttershy, and-," Silva starts before being cut off.
"Wait, you two know Fluttershy?" Lost Lore squees.
"Yes, she is my Godmother and Silva's teacher. We have known her our whole lives," StarFlight states.
"Oh, sorry about the angry tone before," Lost Lore bows, apologetically, "But if Fluttershy and 3 of the 4 ali-," Lost Lore continues before being cut off.
"Right forgot, we have only been here for a year," Silva and StarFlight face...(?)hoof(?).

Author's Note
Every spell Silva recited was in Latin.
Ligna means Timber in Latin.
Ligna stands at about 2 feet 4 inches at the back and looks identical to a regular timberwolf, yes from the Everfree Forest, not an actual wolf.
Spell B82X will be explained in a future chapter.
Silva's tower shield is 2 feet wide, and 4 and a half feet tall (for now). It also only weighs about 2 lbs but has the same strength as 6 inches of solid steel. However, he can only use it once every month without recharge crystals, which he can't make on his own(he needs Luna's help and permission).
Also, I want to try to make a relationship between Rarity and Zephyr work out but I want to know all of your guy's opinions on the pairing. Please leave your opinion of the pairing in the comments below and no arguing about whose opinion is right or wrong. I just picked a random pegasus with no reason at all.
