All the the young creature in the world waking up getting ready for the fun three day weekend ahead of them. Six young creatures, all still in bed after their long night playing games in each others dorms, went to sleep around two to three in the morning. While all the other creatures scurried along the streets, those six just slept all day till around noon wasting most of their fun Saturday. Though there was still some time. “Good morning Equestria” Ocellus said yawning “Lets see what I had planned for today.” She looked at her list on her bedside table. “First Make breakfast for every creature, like always, then see what they all have plan for the day. If they have no plans ask every creature if they want to go to the Ponyville Library for the 105th time” she said rolling her eyes “I should really give up on asking that, what time is it?” The clock in her room read 1:24PM. Ocellus sat there in disbelief, she had slept in all day and missed both breakfast and lunch! But was it only her? Ocellus calmly walked of out her room still in shock, she walk over to Silverstreams door and knocked on it to see if she was up but no response “oh dear am I the only one who slept in” she knocked again and finally got answer, she looked at silver she looked exhausted and as if she had just gotten out of bed “good morning Ocellus” she said rubbing her eyes “what time is it?” ”it's almost 1:30 in the afternoon we all have overslept!” Ocellus said in a urgent tone “oh man I had so much planned for today” silver said in a disappointing tone. ”So did I ... well let's get the others up i’ll get Yona and Sandbar you get smolder and Gallus” “aww why did you give me the hard ones” Silver whined. they sat at a round table in the cafeteria eating whatever was leftover from lunchtime “well there is another beginning to a weekend wasted” Sandbar said to the group the rest nodded in agreement “great now we’ll go to bed at the same time tonight repeating for the entire weekend don't you love a COMPLETELY FUCKED SLEEP SCHEDULE!” Gallus said in a sarcastic tone “SHHH!” the other five hushed him “you know the professors don't like it when we use that language!” Ocellus said to him “oh chill out we are the only ones in here no one heard me” Gallus said confidently “you sure about that?” Gallus eyes widened at the other voice “man such strong language I am so offended” Gallus turned to the the stallion who was reading a book “uhh..” was the only thing Gallus could mutter, The stallion just burst into laughter “man I really scared you oh oh… shit that was great!” Gallus just sat there still looking dumbfounded and frankly pissed the others just laughed at their friend. ”So Page Turner, what brings you to the cafeteria?” Ocellus said “Oh I woke up late, judging but what Gall said you guys too?” Page questioned “Yak usually up early but today yak slept in too late” Yona said “well that's a bummer, anything you all could think of doing today ?” silence sat among the group for a good minute until Ocellus quietly asked “you know we could go to the library?”...the six looked at here “that sound like a fun idea!” Page chirped “eh why not, there's nothing else to do” Sandbar said “Oooohhh! That sounds like fun! a library out of the school! This is exciting!” Silverstream said as she flew into the air hovering over them “Yona?” she asked “Yona has no other things to do” Yona told the group Ocellus look at Smolder and Gallus “You two in?” Smolder groaned “Why not” she said with a shrug “Gallus what about you?” ”No” he quipped, the others looked at him dumbfounded. All Ocellus did was look down. “Why?” she asked sounding noticeably disappointed “What am I gonna find to read I just don't read for the heck of it you know that!” Gallus exclaimed “So? So do I and I'm still going!” Smolder said in an annoyed “Fine! I'll go, but don't expect me to find anything” Gallus said “Well you all have fun, I got some work to do. See you all later!” Page told the group “All right see you around” Ocellus told him “We should get going” and off to the library they went. “Remember, there are many other ponies trying to read in here so please be quiet.” Ocellus told as she opens the door to the library The library was way bigger than the schools and maybe Twilights own personal library but who knows how big her’s is. Silverstream jumped up with excitement as she flew in the others where in aw at the site besides one… Gallus wandered away from the group, he stopped in the fiction section looking around one book caught his eye “The Adventure of Eisuke: The Heroes of Crementia, huh sounds interesting” He pulled out the book it seemed to be a comic of some sort with the main character being a Griffin, hippogriff, Changeling, Yak, and pony (though much taller than one you see around here) “this seems interesting” Gallus thought to himself. (One month later) “I want all of you to write a paper about your own findings of friendship in literature” the entire class groaned at what Twilight just said “Oh come on! it doesn't need to be that long, like a page or two!” the class was still not amused “Ok so when it it due?” one of the students asked “Well I expect it by the end week” *RING!* “Remember by the end of the week, class dismissed! Have a great rest of the day!” the six were heading back to their dorms, on the way they discussed what they were gonna write about and for some that was not going well “I’m gonna have to go to library and read something I never read!” Smolder said to the group “Well that gives me an idea! why don't we all write in the library and exchange ideas about our stories!” Ocellus asked The other nodded in agreement and headed to the school library except for one… Gallus just stood there watching the others walk off Ocellus noticed his though “Gallus? You coming?” “Nah I rather write alone” he told Ocellus “Alright… if you need help you know where to find us” She told him as she waved him goodbye. Gallus knew exactly what he was gonna write about he just did not want his friends to know about it but how long can he keep on his secret about his reading? “Spiiiiike!” twilight yelled for her dragon assistant “Yes twilight?” spike ask as he peered into her office “You know anything about this story?” she shoved a paper into his face “The Adventure of Eisuke! I have read a bit of it and it’s pretty good, who wrote this paper?” spike asked “Its Gallus’s” “Really!?”spike was thrown a bit off by her response “ Well... from what I have read, he is pretty accurate on his comparison”Spike told her “There are some grammatical errors here and there but besides that it's an A in my book” “Ok well I am trusting you on you judgement if I find out you gave a free A” “Yeah yeah I know" he grumbled Gallus was in his room reading another part of The Legend of Eisuke which he had to catch up on since the series had been out for while before he picked it up and the last book was being released soon and the was one book from the second to last book in the series He was startled by a knock on his door he hid his book under his pillow “coming!”he got up and opened the door to see spike standing there he was thrown off expecting one of his friends “Oh hey spike” “Hey uh can I come in?”spike asked “Uhh sure” Gallus was thrown off by this question Spike made his way into the room and closed the door behind him “So I read your paper” Spike told him. Gallus stepped back in shock, not expecting ANYONE but professor Twilight to read that paper. “Your points seemed pretty spot on, although I need to tell you one thing... DON'T under ANY circumstances buy any issue of that comic for cheap or form some sketchy flea market! from personal experience of being put into a power ponies comic with the elements, I’m telling you it wasn’t exactly what I hoped for, However that doesn’t mean it wasn't a good learning experience. Seriously though, enchanted comics are nothing to mess with ” “Wait.. there are enchanted versions of those comics where you can be sucked into them And become the characters?” Gallus said shocked “Mhm just please be careful, buy from respectable sources” Spike warned “Alright no cheep or sketchy flea markets… Got it!” Gallus exclaimed “You sure?” “Yep” “Alright well see you tomorrow!” Spike said “You two!” Gallus hollered back. When Spike left Gallus went back to reading, and within the night alone he read to the end of issue nine of ten. (Two weeks later) Gallus rushed back to the school after buying issue ten of The Legend of Eisuke keeping it in his bag so his friends couldn't see it hopefully allowing him to get to his dorm with ease “Alright let's just get to my room and this will all be fine just put it with the rest and leav-” “HEY GALLUS!” a voice yelled at him, He was startled and ran into the fountain in the courtyard “Oh uh hey guys…” gallus said rubbing his temples “Dude where have you been for the past few hours?” smolder questioned the griffon “Nowhere!” he was quick to respond. “Hmm what's in the bag?” smolder questioned seeing clear through his lie “Huh? what bag!?” he said moving closer to the dorms “This one silly!” Silver grab the bag he was hiding behind him Gallus was starting to freak out in his mind though his body remained cool “It's nothing now…. give me my bag back” “Oh come on what’s there to hide?” Smolder told him as she ripped it out of Silvers hands “Nothing its just mine now please give it back” He tried to remain cool but he was slowly getting more and more aggravated. “Come on Smolder, just give it back” Sandbar told smolder “Not until Gally over here tells us what's in the bag!” “First off I said its nothing, second don't call me that! Now just give me my damn bag!” Gallus said as he bolted at Smolder and yanked it right out from her claws “Ok, what’s in there that’s So special?” Ocellus asked Gallus started to sweat nervously. The only way out was the dorms, but he would be trapped. It didn't matter, he had to at least try. He leaped for the door flying in the open window. The others went for him, but as he ran into his room *SLAM* he was tackled to the ground by Yona, his bag slid on the floor out of his reach “Alright lets see what all this is ab-” smolders words were cut but the sight she saw raped in plastic was a book titled The Adventure of Eisuke: The Heroes of Crementia issue No.10 “You were hiding a comic book?” smolder said confused “Really? That's it? You’re embarrassed cause of a book!” “Well you know I don't read! I just didn't want any creature knowing cause its kinda out of my nature..” “Gallus no creature is gonna judge you for reading a story!” Ocellus told him “Yeah seriously that would be dumb now what is this story about anyway-” Smolder’s words where cut of by a white light emitting from the open book “What the-” Within a flash there were gone and the book just fell to the ground closed in the middle of his room. Author's Note First time writing one of these but I have had this idea for a while and need to get out of my head by writing in. I have no clue how long it will be or if there will ever be an update scheduled but who knows. I hope you have enjoyed chapter one! His eyes fell on one thing a sword. “Is that-?” He was cut off by a voice yelling at him. “EISUKE GET YOUR ASS UP AND GET TO YOUR STATION GUARDING THE PRINCESS’S ROOM!” He heard a voice from the other side of the door. “Now I know where I am” “Ye- yes sir!” He said nervously. Gallus got up and walked to the dresser positioned under the sword. He knew what Eisuke’s clothes looked like, so it wasn't too hard to find out what to wear. He grabbed the sword and put the scabbard on the two rings on his clothes under his wing. “Okay now time to find Princess Aishi’s room… this won’t be easy.” The one thing that the comic never showed was the full layout of Crementia Castle. Though he knew what her door looked like, he just didn’t know how to find it. He walked down the hall and found the kitchen where chef Quesh was preparing some lunch for the royal family and guards. “Oh good morning Eisuke.” “Good morning chef.” “You should really be getting to the princess’s room. The guards are pretty pissed at you.” “Yeah I know, well is there anything to eat?” The chef tossed a roll to Gallus “Here have a sweet roll.” “Thanks!.. Hey umm you wouldn't know where the princess’s room is?” Gallus asked The chef look confused “I uh am having one of those days where I can’t remember simple stuff.” Gallus said with a nervous sweat. “Down the hall to the right.” The chef was suspicious of the griffon, but didn't say anything. “Thanks,” Gallus yelled back heading down the hall He arrived at the door. “Welp I guess I just stand here and wait.” “Gallus?” He heard a familiar voice behind the door “Silverstream?!” The door opened and a pink blur sprang at him throwing him to the ground. “Ok Silver, you can stop hugging me now.” “Oh, sorry!” “You okay? You don't look so good.” Silverstream looked like she had not slept all night and been crying for hours. “Gallus where are we? Where are our friends?” Silver said. “Let's talk about it in your room.” “I don't know where the others are, but It seems when smolder opened up the book I think we were transported into it.” “Wait…we’re in a story? That's so Cool!” She instantly perked up. “Yeah I guess it's cool. Like I said I think.” “Sooooo if we are in a story… who am I!? and who are you?” “I am guardian Eisuke and you are Princes Aishi the princess of Crementia.”\ “Oh I'm a princess! No wonder this room is so fantastic.” They were both caught off by a knock at her door. “Aishi dear you feeling okay it's almost noon and you haven't gotten up?” The voice behind the door was feminin and by judging by how it was worded, Gallus knew who it could be. “just say your fine” Gallus whispered “I-I’m fine” silver said. Her voice quivered, but not enough for her to notice. “Okay we’ll get ready. It’s almost time for lunch and I don't want need you to also miss lunch.” The two waited till they were sure she was gone before they restarted conversing. “Who was that?” silver whispered. “I think that was Queen Krentina Crement.” “I am gonna assume that is my “mother?”” “Yep…” Gallus stepped to the dresser and pulled out some clothes and handed them to Silver. “Put these on, I will be waiting outside the door” silver nooded. Silver exited the room and looked at Gallus. “Ready?” Gallus asked. “mhm” Silver says in response. As they walk down the hall, Gallus discussed to Silver some ideas he had come up with while he was waiting. “So I am assuming the others are the other guardians: Changeling Princess Yasashii, Vigilance of Yaksvill Tsuyoi, Dragon Confidence Ōheina, and The Sarasa Clan Leader Kenjin “Sarasa clan?” “They are a clan of tall ponies.” “Like how tall?” “Around five to six feet” “Wow that's like the height of an adult hippogriff!” “Yep, My plan is that we visit each one of their clans and see if my theory is true” The were near the kitchen door meaning they were next to the dinning hall “Silver, when we see the queen don't bow, she is your “mother.” You don't need to, but I have to.” Gallus said sternly. “Got it, don't bow to my ‘mother.’” Gallus and Silverstream entered the dining hall and Queen Krentina saw them, “Ah there you two are!” Gallus bowed to the queen while she hugged Silver. “Eisuke I have told you many times you have no need to do that anymore.” “Oh… right.” “So do you two have plans for the day?” “Mhm, we plan on visiting the other guardians and make sure everything is ready for them” “Got it, well you too be safe these attacks are getting more frequent.” “I know.” “Okay well you two better head off soon if your going to every clan it is gonna take all day.” “That was the plan” The two grabbed some food and went to pack up for their journey. ____________________________________________________________________________ The two exited the castle into the town below. The civilians consisting of Hippogriffs, griffins, and ponies who watched and bowed their heads as the two walked down the Main Street. “Man, what a crowd.” Silver whispered to Gallus. “You’re royalty they have to do that.” “Oh.” Gallus scanned the crowd, his eyes falling on a young griffin who had a wooden sword in his claws. The foal looked at Gallus with aspiration in his eyes. Gallus gave the kid a smirk as he smiled back in full. The two exited the main gates into a big field. Gallus had always thought the landscape in the comics style was beautiful, but to see it in real life… It was breathtaking. “Wow…” Gallus mutterd. “I know right, this place is amazing!!” “Well let's head off to Kitinea City. That's where the changelings live, judging by this map its east of Crementia Castle.” “I'll just go with whatever you say cause I have no clue where anything is.” The two headed down the path heading towards Kitinea City. The two walked in silence until silver broke it. “Gallus? When you were talking to the queen, who were they?” “They?” “The creatures that you referred to as they!” “Oh uh the Interitus clan?” “The Interitus clan?” “They are a group of alicorns from the ancient alicorn tribes who rebelled against the royal family.” “So what is a small group of rebels gonna do? They are up against an entire country’s army.” “Them by themselves isn't the issue it's their motive. All they want in this world is power and to get that power is to resurrect Exitium the god of destruction and power, and as cliche as it sounds the only thing that can actually kill him is this sword” Gallus lifted his wing reviving the sword. “So we have to fight a god and a entire clan!?” “Yep.” “Wait. Gallus are we all gonna have to…kill” she trailed off. He stood there not expecting that response. “I... don't know, well I know I have to, but as for the rest of you… that's not up to me” “Okay...” Silver said in a weekend tone “Do you really have to?” “Yes though it doesn't mean I want to-” Gallus stopped hearing a rustle from a bush nearby. “So little Eisuke doesn't want to kill” a strange voice came from two bodies emerging from behind the bush “What a weak kid.” Once Gallus got a good look at the two he recognized there clothing, they where one of Them “You’re now scared what happened to our little stone cold Eisuke, did he finally lose his fire?” The two were approaching fast Galluses heart was starting beat faster and his claws began feel weak “can I do this… what if I die!?” his mind was racing he could not focus on the two *WHAM* the pommel of one of their swords hit Gallus square in the head sending him to the ground “I expected more from you. The others are afraid of you but you’re nothing, you’re weak” The stallions eyes fell upon Silverstream “Wind Runner!, take hold of this “warrior”” “Yes sir!” the other hollered at his superior and lifted Gallus by the scruff “Princess Aishi, what a surprise!” the stallion cup her chin. “Get your hooves off of me!” silver swatted his hoof away He grab her pulling her close,pulling out a knife and brought the tip to her cheek. She could feel the it almost pierce her skin. “Not so tough now are you?” Gallus noticed his holder was distracted by the sight of his superior. He took this opportunity to elbow him in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. He dropped Gallus trying to catch his breath. Gallus Charged At the Stallion holding Silverstream tackling him to the ground sending the knife sprawling across the dirt. The two charged for the knife, Gallus reaching it the nick of time and stabbed the stallion in the chest. The Stallion froze and looked at his chest seeing blood start to ooze out “Forgive me lord exitium...” the stallion muttered as he fell cold Silver sat witnessing what Gallus did. He really just killed someone, and all she could see in her mind was the stallions face when he collapsed a face of pure horror and pain. Gallus looked to face Silverstream “Sorry you had to see that...You okay?” She removed her claw to reveal a laceration like no other, a long thin streak about an inch deep into her face, cutting clean through muscle and tissue leaving a burning sensation and tears in her eyes the blood dripping through stained her feathers with a crimson red splotch “That creep cut me.” “Oh my…Here” Gallus pulled some bandages from his bag. “Thank you” Silver replied starting to patch herself up. Gallus notice the other stallion staring at them. “You killed him...I thank you for my freedom” “Freedom?” “You think I choose this?! I was captured by them on one of there raids! Most of us are its horrible,and oh don't get me started on how they have corrupted many of my old friends minds!” He pause to compose himself “I never want to to go back. I just want to go home I miss my village, my people, my everything...” “Okay well you can stick with us till we get there.” “Thank you… Where are you two heading to right now Kitinea or yaksvill?” “Kitinea, we are on our way to meet up with guardian Yasashii.” “Alright, I guess we should get moving?” Wind Runner asked “I guess so” ____________________________________________________________________________ The three made there way to the city with Wind Runner trailing behind quite a bit “You good?” Gallus asked the slow alicorn “I’m fine, I just need a break” he said sitting down.”You two go ahead, I’ll catch up.” “Alright” the two call out to him. Gallus and Silverstream went ahead a bit and they too decided to take a break “Hey, how are you holding up?” Silver asked the throughtfull griffon. “Huh? I'm fine” “You sure? You have been offly quiet after that fight ” “Im sorry its just...I killed someone” “Oh…” “I don't know how to live with that I mean I know were in a comic and they're not real but… they feel real, act real. It just feels like I have actually killed someone. I just don't want you or the others to think and different of me...” Silver walked over to Gallus and put and arm around him “Why would we? I mean you had to kill him… or we might not even be here” “Thanks... so how’s the cut?” “Oh it’s fine, hurts a lot though.” “Yeah that cut was pretty deep. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get you hurt” “It's all alright You had good intentions.” “Oh you two decided take a break too?” The two looked at Wind Runner nodding. “Good I need another one” “Sorry we were about to head out again it's almost night fall” Gallus told him “Damnit” ____________________________________________________________________________ The three were on the final stretch of path towards the city. “Race you to the gate?” Silver told the two . “You're on!” Gallus exclaimed. “Sorry, my legs way too tired to race, I’ll meet you two in the city” Karl said collapsing “Alright you ready?” Silver said confitly “Ready to beat you!” “Threetwoonego” “Wha- that's not fair!” Wind Runner watched as the two ran to the City “Should I even enter… maybe they won't know where I am from?...hopefully” He thought to himself “And Silverstream is the winner!!” “Yeah cause you cheated! Silver?” Silver face was deadpanned looking into the city Gallus waved a claw in here face “Silverstream?” All she did was point Gallus looked into the city seeing ruins of houses and many lumps covered in sheets, changeling families some no longer families crying over them. Gallus sat there in disbelief looking in to the city “Holy shit”........ //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: A somber beginning but a delightful end //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: A somber beginning but a delightful end The two walked slowly past the bodies trying their best not too look. They could feel many cold stares upon them. “Mr. Eisuke, Princess Aishi?” a Quiet voice peeped from behind them. They turned to face a small changeling about half of Gallus’s height looking up at them with dried tears marking the sides of her face. “Where were you all last night,” she said beginning to cry hugging the two. “Why did you leave us when you knew they were gonna attack?” “I-I don't know,” the griffon said confused. “Kid we need to get to the castle and figure out what happened. Go find your parents they probably would like to know where you are.” The young changeling looked into Gallus’s eyes, “they’re gone…” ____________________________________________________________________________ “That poor changeling,” Silver said as the two headed for Kitinea castle. “Seriously, I really don't know what happened, but I feel bad for her? Having to grow up without parents is no fun. Trust me.” “Yeah just, who would do such a thing to a little changeling?” “We did…” The two turned to see Wind Runner looking down at the ground. “What!?” “We attacked last night after the Cremantin military and you two left the city. We weren't victorious, but… we killed so many civilians.” Wind began to tear up, “I remember that changeling’s face when Felan took her parents life, it haunts me”. The two sat there in disbelief not knowing how to react to such a statement. “I hid, I ran, I tried my best not to hurt anyone, but I was attacked by a guard and had to fight back there was nothing I could do to stop them from trying… I never wanted any of this. You two get the princess I’ll wait outside the gate”. They nodded and started making there way to the castle. “That stallion will never be the same.” Gallus said. Silver nodding in agreement. The two headed up the stars to the castle's main entrance to notice two guards blocking the door. “HALT!” two guards stated. “The Castle is under heavy guard after the recent att-” “Guardian Eisuke and Princess Aishi my apologies.” A voice called out behind the two guards, “At ease men.” The two Guards removed themselves from the entrance revealing a tall figure. “King Norami,” The two bowed. “Where’s Yasashii?” silver asked the king. “She's fine. You need to come in quickly.” The two entered the building as Guards swarmed the stone walls. “I’m sure you heard that we were attacked last night by them. They failed to capture the castle.” “We heard.” “Though we won, we lost too many changelings in the army and civilians... I should have never told you all to leave,” the king said with a tear in his eye. The two sat in silence not knowing how to respond frankly not even knowing why they were there last night. “You two should get to Yasashii. She would be delighted to know you two are here. I need to go spend some time to myself.” “Is she in here room?” Gallus asked the king. He nodded back heading up the stairs. “Soooooooo where do we find Ocellus?” Silver asked snapping Gallus out of his roleplay. “I have no clue where her room is. I would guess upstairs.” The two headed up to the second floor seeing the maze of hallways ahead of them. “How are we gonna do this?” ____________________________________________________________________________ “Gallus!” silver called over to her griffon companion. “Keep it down! Now What!?” “I think I found her,” she said pointing to a door. Gallus headed over to the door hearing a faint sniffle from behind it. “Yasashii?” he said cracking the door to notice a small lump cowering on a bed. “Gallus!?” the lump peeped poking its head out to face the two figures . “Ocellus!!!” silver screamed rushing to give the small changeling a hug with Ocellus returning one in full. “I am so glad you found me. I didn't know where or who I was plus we were under attack.” She said crying into the hippogriff. “Well we're glad you're safe, so I'm assuming you never left this room?” The griffon asked,Ocellus nodding back. “You are probably dying for some food right now.” “Mm-hmm.” ____________________________________________________________________________ Gallus entered the room with some snacks for the three of them since they decided they need to stay the night. “What took you so long?” silver said irritated. “I had to tell Wind Runner we would be staying the night. He said he would camp outside the gate.” “Who’s Wind Runner?” “He was a slave from the Interitus clan, let's just say I got into a fight with his superior and…” He trailed off looking down at the ground not know if he should even tell her for her mental sake. “And what?” “He killed him,” silver said immediately covering her beak. “You what….” Ocellus said starting to feel sick. “I had to! Or me and silver wouldn't be here right now! Ever wonder how she got that cut!” The room fell into an awkward silence “Where's the bathroom I feel like I am gonna vomit.” ocellus said trying her best to stand. “There's one behind that door,” gallus said pointing to a door near the bed. “Thanks,” ocellus said in a drunken walk. Silver rushed over to help the weak changeling. She entered the bathroom locked the door behind her. “You had to tell her!” “Sorry... It's just slipped out I didn't think it would make her sick.” “It's fine just she didn't need to know I killed him…. Well I am gonna get to the guest room you staying in here?” Silver nodded looking over at the bathroom door hearing her friend “have an adventure.” “Okay well good night,” gallus said leaving the room. “Night.” ____________________________________________________________________________ The sun shone through a single small window illuminating the small room. The rooms occupants awoke to the delight of the light going straight into their eyes. Gallus awoke with a grone moving to the left to get the sun out of his eyes trying to get a few more minutes of sleep. *knock knock* “Ehhhhhhhhhhh Five more minutes.” “Gallus its 11:30 get up,” a irritated feniman voice called behind the door. Gallus grumbled rolling out of bed. He walked over and threw on the clothes he wore the previous day and grabbed his sword. He exited the room coming face to face with his female companions. “Well good morning,” chirped silver. Gallus nodding in response to acknowledge his hippogriff friend. “Sooo what are we doing today?” ocellus asked the griffon as he headed down the hall. “I don't know probably heading to Kraso village thats where I assume Wind is from, but before we leave I’m gonna get something to eat.” The three of them left the castle and went into the desolate city. As they walked down the main road, many of the covered lumps where gone. They also passed many changelings still mourning their lost ones around the bodys that haven't been taken away. The site and smell of rotting corpses made the three of them sick. They made their way to the main gate as quickly as possible. “There you are I was wondering what was taking you so long!” Wind called to the trio. “Gal-Eisuke over here overslept,” ocellus said irritably. “You must be Princess Yasashii. The names Wind runner, but you can call me Wind,” he said with a bow. “Yes Eisuke over here told me about you.” The changeling said in a clam tone. “Oh… I-I-” WInd looked to the ground releasing she knew. “You are forgiven,” she said trying her best to place a hoof on his shoulder. Wind said nothing, yet he looked into her eyes and saw they were full of care. He smiled and gave her a small hug to show his thanks. “Okay you two, we need to start heading down to Kraso village to make it there by sundown.” The three looked at the griffon nodding. ____________________________________________________________________________ The four creatures walked down the worn path taking the same way as the other day. Eventually a smell started to fall onto the path. “What in the name of Cretia is that smell!” Wind runner exclaimed. The smell could only be described as the the smell of death and decay. “I don't know, but whatever it is I hope to not see it.” Ocellus told the stallion. The four drew near a red splotch on the path. Three of the four quickly realized what the smell was. “Yasashii close your eyes,” gallus told the changeling. “why?” “Trust me please close them.” She nodded closing her eyes just a few feet from the scene. “Silver could you guide Ocellus along the path? Also could you stop at the tree and wait for us to get back? Me and Wind need to do something about that smell,” gallus whispered. “Sure thing,” she said with a nod. Silver grabbed Ocellus forcing her past the smells origin. Gallus and Wind Runner walk upon the corps of Winds superior. “We need to move him farther into to the forest to try to kill the smell the best we can.” However, Wind couldn’t focus on what Gallus told him. All he could do was stare into his master’s dead eyes as horrific memories flashed through his mind. “wind… wind!...Wind Runner!!” Gallus slapped the stallion across the face snapping him out of his daze. “Sorry just to many memories.” “Allright well help me move this body. Grab his legs.” Wind nodded levitating the corp’s hind legs. “Damn he's heavy,” Gallus complained as the two walked into the large forest. “Where are we planning on putting him?” “I don't know middle of the forest mabe?” The two plopped the body in a dich deep within the woods. Though one seemed to be in deep thought. “Eisuke” “Yeah?” “Do you think we should at least cover him?” “Hmmm… I guess so.” The two grab some large branches and placed them over the body. They headed back to the path meeting up with there female companions. “You okay Wind?” Silver asks the tranced stallion. “Huh? oh yeah it’s nothing… let's just get moving.” He said as he slowly moved down the path trying to distance himself from the past scene behind him. “What did you two do?” Ocellus asked Gallus wondering what would have caused Wind to come to such a state. “It’s nothing Ocellus just memories.” “Oh okay,” she said stating to follow Winds hoofsteps trying her best to catch up to him. “Sooo did you find that smell you reek of it,” silver asked her friend while steedly distancing herself from him. “Yeah, want to take a guess on what it was?” “Was it… Him?”Silver asked her friend. Gallus nodded “we had to carry him off the side of the path.” “Oh yuck,” silver said obviously disgusted at what poor Wind Runner and Gallus had to do. The Four came upon a bridge with a river swiftly flowing below. Gallus knows this would be his best opportunity to wash himself after what has transpired only about an hour ago and to at least let the rest of the group take a break. “You sure none of you want to jump it the water actually quite nice.” The other three collectively shook their heads. “Come one not you even you silverstream?” “No gallus I don't have th-”Silver cut here own words off realizing Wind Runner was look at them confused by the names they called each other. “Silverstream, Gallus? Whats going on here? those like nicknames for you all?” The three look at each other realizing the hole they dug them self. Gallus sighed stepping out the river. “Look Wind were… not really them.” “What?” “Our names are Gallus, Silverstream, and Ocellus not the names you know us by.” “Oh so the names that everyone use are like for formal reasons or like-” “We aren't from here we got transported into a comic!” Silver’s outburst caught the other three off guard. Silence fell upon them none of the knowing how to respond. “Yeah that's what i was gonna say…” “So you three aren't really…” “Yep our friend Smolder opened Gallus’s copy of The Adventure of Eisuke: The Heroes of Crementia sending us here. We are from another universe where we live called Equestria.” Ocelles said trying to to make eye contact with Wind Runner. “Well then. Ok Gallus, Silverstream, Ocellus.” The three look up at Wind Runner seeing his sudden shift in tone. “The name is Wind Runner I would like to know the real you.” The three smiled at the Stallion fully open to the idea of explaining what Equestria is like and how different it was from Crementia. ____________________________________________________________________________ “So let me get this straight you live under water you whole life!” “Mm-hmm the storm king prevented us from leaving Seaquestria or you know we would be found out and would have been recaptured.” “Well it's great the he was defeated or I would have never met you!” Wind looked away from silver and realized something. “welp here we are… Kraso village.” The four looked up at the sign releasing this was it they got him home. “You nervous?” Gallus asked the stallion. “Yeah what if they don't know me wh- what if they think i'm a spy?!” “You’ll be fine come on,” Ocellus said placing a hoof on his shoulder. The four entered the Village many alicorns turned to watch them head down the street. Wind’s heart raced seeing this. Did they forget him? “D-dad?” A voice peeped from the side of the road. Wind turn to face an alicorn foal. The two stared at each other as two other figures pushed through the crowd to come face to face with the stallion. WInd rushed over to the three alicorns hugging them tightly. “Wind I-I- We thought we would never see you again.” the mare told her stallion crying profusely. The three heros smiled at the sight of the reunited family. “Wind you never told us you had a family” Ocellus told the Alicorn. “I didn't?” “Oh my! Guardian Eisuke, Princess Aishi, Princess Yasashii! I-I thank you!” “No problem ma'am that what we do,” gallus told the mare with pure pride. Two young foals ran up to the guardian giving them a warm hug. “Thanks for bringing our daddy back!” the young ones said looking up smiling. All Gallus could do was smile back. ____________________________________________________________________________ The three walked in to Karaso Inn checking in for the night. They walked down the hall to the their respective rooms which were right across from each other. “You two are sharing a room right?” “Yep im so excited! We can talk about so much Ocellus! Ocellus?” Silver look down to see the changeling passed out leaning on her hippogriff friend. “Ha I guess that walk really exhausted her well not just her i am pooped. I want to sleep as soon as possible. You should too if we are gonna make our trip back to Crementia castle to pick up supplies to head to Yaksvill or Dragon's domain.” “Okey dokey! Good night!” silver said as Gallus closed the rooms door behind him. As gallus laid in bed, he could only think of one thing. How in hell where his friends keeping their cool.
