The Beast

Twilight was fishing at a pond in Ponyville as she had wanted to relax. She didnt fish often but she used to fish before becoming a princess.

It was an outdoor activity she missed so she was glad she was getting to do it again. As she fished she just sat on the ground waiting to catch one.

Time passed before she got any type of activity from her line and then soon she felt a sharp tug. She realized she had got one snagged so she pulled the line in but whatever it was pulling was super heavy.

"I think I got a big one!" He told herself as she started to try and reel in the line but it was super tough as something was pulling the line further into the water.

"What the fuck!?" Twilight exclaimed getting alarmed she soon saw a huge splash of water come after she dodged pur of the way and lost her fishing rod. She ran to her bag and took out her rifle and aimed it at the water waiting to kill whatever tried to attack her.

Twilight tried to calm her breathing as she scanned for the weird creature. She soon saw an outline of the creature and fired a shot at it.

She fired to more shots and then swam up to her and begged her to stop.

"Please stop!" The female mermaid begged. Twilight lowered her weapon and saw that the woman was a mermaid a mystical creature that was still only a myth. Twilight almost couldn't believe it. She thought that she was dreaming. She always heard that mermaids were discredited but now she knew that they were real.

"Holy shit! I captured a mermaid! I got to show Celestia this! This is great! This will be a wonder to Equestria I cant wait for the endless possibilities that this beast may provide!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Wait no! Let me go back to my family!" It begged but Twilight stopped her from talking by slamming the rifle against her tail making her cry out in pain. She tied the mermaid up so that it coudont escape and try to warn its species about humans and carried her to Princess Celestia's castle in Canterlot with a giddy look on her face. She was so happy and excited. She couldn't wait to see the look on Celestia's face. She hoped that Celestia would be proud of her.

"Holy shit I got a mermaid! Celestia's gonna want to see this!" Twilight exclaimed, the mermaid started to cry due to the distress so Twilight gagged her and tied her up in a bag to conceal her.

When Twilight got to the castle throne room she suprised Celestia who smiled at the unexpected visit. She wondered what Twilight had brought with her as she saw the bag Twilight was carrying.

"Twilight how nice of you to see me? What do you need?" Celestia asked. Twilight threw the bag down and opened it up and Celestia sat forward in shock.

"Is that a mermaid!? That's impossible! They are just a myth!" Celestia exclaimed.

"Not anymore. I captured one when I was fishing in Ponyville, I almost cant believe it either!" Twilight exclaimed happily.

"Please....let me go...I-I want to see my family!" It cried in distress. Twilight hit it in the head with the butt of her rifle.

"Shut up!" Twilight yelled at it. Celestia came over to examine it.

"Did you happen to find it today?" Celestua asked as she looked it over. Twilight nodded proudly.

"Yes I did. I was fishing and ended up pulling her out of the water! Do you know how much fucking bits we can get for this bitch?" Twilight exclaimed with glee.

"If we have her then all of Equestria's poor people could have enough forever! Twilight we must sell her to the highest donor if we do that we will have so much money that Equestria's disandvatanged can finally have lives! Celestia exclaimed.

"I'm right on it!" Twilight said as she started to drag the mermaid outside while it cried and begged. Celestia smiled happily as she had waited this day for a long time.

The mermaid was brutally mocked tortured and killed its parts were sold to museums and in turn the museums were ordered by Twilight to donate to shelters and food pantries.

Soon the homeless population in Equestria shrunk as more and more people got out of the dumps due to programs that started to help them were being created from the money the mermaid had got for them.

Celestia ordered a study on these new creatures which led to an invasion of scientists invading mermaids homes. Mermaids were captured and taken to labs where they were studied and killed.

Celestia announced the existence of mermaids to the populace of Equestria which led to mermaid hunting to a popular thing. People shot and killed Mermaids for food and clothes made out of mermaid tails.

Due to growing opposition by mermaids and tree hugging Equestria civilians and mass protests however it was becoming difficult to study mermaids which led to Celestia signing a bill declaring mermaids non human and below civilized people which discredited the Resistance although the protests raged on.

Twilight was given an award by the scientific community for her achievement in finding a mermaid, her friends and family were so proud.

Soon mermaids were continuesly killed over several years leading them to be put on the critically endangered species list in Equestria which led to protesters fighting for the rights of mermaids to fight even harder.

Soon however mermaids went extinct but Twilight was able to use her magic to lead a scientific effort to make clones. Soon clones of mermaids were put in mass production and now mermaids were only cloned for the process of being killed and used as clothes or food. Twilight was so happy that she had captured that mermaid as it had led to a better Equeastria.
