Chapter 2

The next morning

In Equestria the sun was just peaking over the horizon. The morning was just perfect. There were no clouds in the sky, birds were singing their songs to the world, and dew was on the ground. When the sun was higher in the sky, on top of the mountain in the center of the country, awoke a strange creature.

Erran's P.O.V.

As sunlight fell onto the creature's face it began to stir. 'How late was I up last night,' Erran thought to himself as he started to wake up. When he sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes he took a look around himself. The first thing that he noticed was that everything looked like it was made in some kind of video-game. Next thing that he noticed was that, if you looked close enough at the sky you could almost see what appeared to be some kind of coding.

"Where am I?" Erran said to himself as he continued to look at the sky. that was when he decided to get up off the ground. As Erran was getting up he noticed that the ground looked like it had been 'corrupted' somehow. When he got a closer look at the yellow 'corruption' he saw specks of data float into the air before they dissipated. He also saw that there was several lines of code in the cracks in the ground (like what was on the ground in the picture in chapter 1). He finally decided that he was going to ignore it for the time being at the very least.

"What happened to me?" Erran asked himself. Suddenly he remembered everything from the previous day. After the flashback Erran looked at his hands, and continued to think about his situation. He then decided that he was going to see if anything else had changed.

'First things first, I need to find water or something to be able to survive here,' Erran thought before he started to wander around on the mountain top. When he started walking one of the first things that he noticed was that where ever he stepped the area where his foot landed got corrupted. That discovery startled him for a little bit, but he quickly learned how to ignore it. A few minutes later he found himself a cave at the very peak of the mountain that had a freshwater pond in the back of it.

"This will work nicely," Erran said to himself as he walked in and sat down. After he sat down Erran looked outside of the cave to see that it was just a little before noon, he could tell because the sun was not at the highest point in the sky yet. That was when he remembered about his Identity Disk that he got the other day. He reached around to his back and grasped the disk and pulled it off. With the disk in hand Erran inspected ever inch of the disk.

"How does this thing work?" Erran asked to nobody. After he asked himself the question he heard something in the disk activate. The disk started to glow the same yellow that was on his suit and in the corruption. A few seconds later Erran saw that a holographic screen was projected in between him and the disk. On the screen showed a full body picture of him along with some stats and abilities that he has and what he could possibly gain in the future. Erran decided that he wanted to look into what abilities that he had before anything else.

As Erran went to the abilities section on the data screen he was starting to realize just how much his life is going to change. In the abilities section he saw a list of abilities some of the names where in white, while others where in gray with a picture of the standard lock picture. Erran decided that he was going to look at the abilities that were white and worry about the ones in gray later. First on the list of abilities was 'Corruption' when he looked at the description it said that with that corruption ability he could corrupt any area of code/data, then he can travel through the corrupted code to places that he has been to before as long as there is more corrupted code/data. Next on the list was 'Corrupted control' Erran learned that this ability allows him to control anything or anyone, but they have to be corrupted, either by him personally or by touching corrupted code that they are not given permission to touch.

The last two abilities on the list are most likely Erran's favorites because of how useful they can be. One ability is called 'The Corruption Space' what it does is that it is a personal dimension that he can store items in, but he can only the amount of things in there that he could carry if he had a pack or something similar. So if he built up his strength and stamina he could put more things in The Corruption Space. The last ability that was white was the ability call 'Corrupted Tool Generation'. What this ability does is that he can 'summon' tools through the corruption that he causes, but he has to know exactly how the tool works and the tool naturally disappears after a short amount of time. The amount of time varies depending on the size of the tool, how complicated it is, Erran's concentration, and how much energy Erran uses to make the tool.

After Erran was done looking at the abilities that were white he returned the disk to his back and laid down on the ground. Everything that he knew was gone, and the reality of his situation was finally settling down on him. As far as he knew there was no way back to his home, city, work, or world. With that though in mind he thought of something, something that would hopefully make the rest of his life in this reality better for him and everyone that called this place there home.

'I am now Abraxas, no denying it. I am still me though, and I am a good person. So I'll still help people and I'll do it with my new abilities. hopefully I don't get mistaken for a monster of something.' Erran thought to himself as he looked outside and saw that time had went by faster than he thought, because instead of a sunny day he saw a beautiful starry night with flashes of code still in the air. Erran tried to get comfortable before closing his eyes.

Dreamscape 'Erran's P.O.V.

'Where am I now?' Erran thought to himself as he looked around the dark space around him. There was no ceiling, walls, floor, or light. There was only darkness. After a few more minutes of just floating in the dark abyss, Erran started to hear what sounded like hoove steps coming towards him. That is when he saw that a walkway of stars slowly started to form in front of him. Then he was what was creating that hoove steps. In front of him stood probably one of the prettiest creatures to ever catch his eye. She stood at 5'6" and had midnight purple hair. She also had dark blue, almost black, fur all over her body and it only make her look better. She had beautiful teal eyes and what looked like a mussel, but he could be seeing things after learning that everything that he knew will never return. He moved further down her body to see that she was well endowed, with a bust that must of had been borderline D-cup. He didn't stare for long because he knew how to treat a lady even if no other guy would be so kind. Moving on he realized that she had a hourglass figure with perfectly sized waist and hips. When he finally reached her legs he realized instead of human legs she had hooves.

'well that explains that hoove steps I heard' he thought to himself. She also appeared to be wearing a purple strapless dress that went to her ankles, but there was a slit in the side that went to her mid-thigh to allow more mobility. Erran also noticed that on the hips of the dress there was a symbol of a crescent moon on a black splotch. Another thing that he noticed was that she had a black crown on her head. What surprised him the most thought was that she had a horn and wings.

"Who are you? What are you? Why are you even here, and where is here?" Erran questioned her as fast as he could.

"I'll answer your question a way that makes sense," she said, "First we are in your 'dreamscape' or your dream for short. Next I am an Alicorn; a being that has the strength of an earth pony, wings/flight of a pegasis, and the magic of an unicorn. The last two questions I'll answer at once, I am Princess Luna and I am here to welcome you to Equestria." After she, now name Luna, said that white cracks started to appear in the dreamscape.

"What is happening!" Erran said with worry clear in his voice.

"You are waking up," Luna said. After she said that Erran calmed down a little bit and asked one more question.

"Will I see you again?" Erran asked Luna.

"I don't know. We will have to see," When Luna saw Erran's shocked expression at her answer, she laughed and left.

"That was bareilly an answer," Erran said as with a sudden flash of light he woke up.

Hi, I know it's been a while, but I just now got what I need to make this story better. Thank you to everyone that stayed around to see when I came back. That being said I realized that the story was going WAY too fast, but I'm going to fix it starting from this chapter. I want to thank DisplacedWriter for giving me some tips on what could make my story better. I hope you guys like the story so far and again I'm sorry for taking so long on this.
