Let us tell a story about a particular Homunculi. Greed who believed in his ideals more than anyone else, and by those ideals was driven to despair.
His dream was simple. He wished for everyone in this world and everything to be his property, it was all he asked. It is a childish ideal that all man will grow attached to at least once, an ideal they will abandon as they grow accustomed to reality’s harshness, but not him, at least not at the beginning, after all he was Greed incarnated.
But Greed began to change. Perhaps he was simply the biggest fool of all, to be swayed of his original dream by such ridiculous characters, sacrificing himself because of friendship... Perhaps he was more broken than he thought. Or perhaps everything he need it to satisfy his greed was that, real friends and companions, those two brats really change him. The blonde midget and Ling. His only choices were sacrifice or betraying his soul friends, so he choose sacrifice, lying to Ling for the first and last time, he died happy, surrounded by those who came to love him for who he was, what a wonderful way of going out, like a hero.
"Who are you?" asked a girl intently. She was examining Greed's face. The sky was a clear red with fire behind her. instantly Greed thought 'Hell, I suppose...'
She seemed to be close to Lan Lan's age. Underneath a black cloak, she wore a black blouse and a gray jeans. She knelt down and looked, shocked, at his face.
Her face is... like a horse?. 'Maybe she's a Chimera'.Reddish eyes, black fur and red hair with black wings.She looks kind of like a new type of Chimera.In fact, the girl must have been an experiment, after all Alchemists are always making weird shit.
Still, that's some kind of weird color the sky has, I don't remember any place with red sky and fire, perhaps I'm really in hell.
Greed was lying on the ground, face up, though he was unsure of how he had got there, all he remember was dying at the hands of father and seeing everyone before parting away. He raised his head to take a look around. A crowd of chimera's in were curiously examining him. In the distance, on an endlessly pool of lava, he saw a huge castle with stone walls, just like the one wrath had, but twice the size.
My head is killing me. Giving his head a shake, he answered, "I'm Greed.", wait a sec... I have a body?, looking at my hands I notice that my body looks exactly the same of when I use my ultimate shield completely over my host body.
"Where are you from, Demon?" Demon? What does she mean by that?, I mean she's kinda right, but still...ouch..
"Avata, what were you thinking bringing a demon from Hell, those demons are savage, tartarus doesn't have anything that dangerous..." someone asked, and everyone but the girl who was looking at his face started to panic.
"I... I just have an experiment, and he's the perfect guinea pig!" The girl in front of Greed shouted in a refined voice that could be translated to, she was a bitch.
"What experiment are you talking about? He's not only a demon, he's one of the seven!, nothing can be worth that kind of risk." shouted one of the chimera's with a tone of fear in his voice.
"That's right! Send him back!, you're the queen of Tartarus think of your subjects!!" Someone else said, and the crowd burst into panic again, so she was the ruler of this hell hole, and she brought him there, so why the fuck she asked what his name was, and from where he was from....this shit keeps getting more and more confusing.
"Mr. Six!" The girl, Avata, shouted in a demanding tone. The crowd parted, revealing another chimera, this one looked like a bull. Greed thought it was funny, hell only has Chimera, maybe he would be able to meet his old friends. The new chimera carried a big, no...big is not the word, a gigantic sword and was covered in scars.
"What is it that you want from me, My Queen?" asked the Minotaur, kneeling in front of her.
"Please! explain these idiots that Greed is not the Greed from the seven deadly sins, they seem to think I'm an idiot!" shouted Avata looking at her subjects.
The seven deadly sins?, They mentioned it earlier. I'm Greed but not the Greed they fear?, this keeps getting more and more confusing.
Mr Six, the Minotaur with the ridiculous gigantic sword, gave a nod and turned to see the people "Of course my Liege!, everyone don't be stupid, and don't question our Queen's intelligence, if this Demon was the same Greed we all fear, everyone except for the Queen would be death, you guys being alive is more than enough prove."
Everyone around nodded and looked at Avata with apologetic expressions. Avata scowled at them, like a little girl. Which the Minotaur interrupter telling her " Hurry up and proceed with your experiment my Queen, we have a tight schedule today."
"Yes, you're right!. I better hurry up. Court will begin any minute. Alright! let's do this!" Avata shouted with sparks of child wonder in her eyes.
Everyone voiced their agreement and began cheering. Avata stared at Greed's face as if troubled.
'What is it? What's she going to do to me?'
"Hey," Avata addressed Greed, with a soothing tone.
"Yes?" Greed responded with cautiousness.
"You should count yourself lucky. Normally, you'd only get one chance at life, but today I'm feeling generous." Avata said looking at greed.
Avata closed her eyes. She waved her hands making symbols in the air. "My name is Avata De'ath the third Queen of hell. I call the darkness to bless this humble being to give him a second chance."
She chanted those words over and over, like a magic spell, and touched Greed's forehead with her lips. kissing his forehead.
"What... What are you doing?!" Greed shouted, not knowing what to do with the situation, was the so call experiment just a horny Queen looking to try something new?!.
"Just stay still." Avata said, a touch of irritation in her voice. "I'm filling your body with soul's you ungrateful homunculi, and giving you a body to mingle with the locals! so stay still!"
What is happening?! What kind of experiment is this?!The touch of her soft lips in his forehead confounded Greed even more. paralyzed by what just happened.
Avata removed her lips. "It is done, sorry if that aroused you, sometimes is awful being a succubi, anyway... have fun and entertain me."
After she said that, Greed vanish out of tartarus, with a bunch of questions in his head.
I came to my senses, laying on my back and gazing up at the sky. The clouds were floating on gently by, and I could hear birds chirping in the distance.
I clambered to my feet but I actually didn't feel my feet, but noticing my body didn’t hurt at all I didn't give it a second thought. As I surveyed my surroundings, I took note of mountains and grassy plains all around me, there was also a river to my right, My body was different, I was some kind of chimera/horse, with Grey coat, and my homunculi mark was in my butt and shoulder, and my feet are hooves, but my hands are hands, well I'm glad I'm still have hands, though not so glad I'm naked.
There was no mistaking it, I was in another world or at least another continent, but I'll go with option one.
“Guess I’ll just walk the road and see if I run into anyone.” My immediate idea was to go where the water is going, where is water, there is people, I set off following the river. Upon walking for like two hours, I found someone, Christmas is here. I thought while looking at the guy which body size was similar to mine.
“Now... do I knock him out and steal his clothes, or do I flash him with my goods and then knock him out and steal his clothes, that is the question.” I pondered my options beneath the shade of the giant tree I took cover, "I'll take option number two."
“Hello?” I said approaching the chimera with my goods shining in the sun.
“Ooh! for the love of Celestia!, have some decency and put on some clothes dude” I could hear chimera’s voice with a tone that said, you're blinding me.
“That's the plan!” I responded punching him in the gut, knocking him out cold.“Wow, really? One punch...well that's anticlimactic, but not unexpected, chimeras are weak as fuck here”
“Alright let's see what ya got my friend." I started to look on his belongings, finding some gold coins, an ID, and an Royal Degree, calling every stallion and mare to fight, I also notice he had a horn, a tumor maybe?.
"Stallions?, mares?.....perhaps these guys are the humans of this world.." I said looking at the now naked guy, he still had his boxers. I'm not completely bad, cant leave the guy naked.
“Well, I guess that’s where I’m headed.” I said looking at the Royal Degree, ordering every pony over eighteen years old to go to Canterlot at once.
After walking for about four hours, the reality of my situation finally began to sink in. To begin with, I had no food. Not to mention the fact that I had no water, thought I was an homunculi and didn't need actual sustain, I still liked to eat and drink. Once I got into the city, what then? I had no money, except for the coins I stole from the guy from before, but what good was that? I had no idea the price's of this world, of course I could just simple steal whatever I want.
As I was lost in thought, a sound steadily approached from behind. I turned around to check, and saw something off in the distance in the sky. It was heading this way, and it appeared to be... a horse with wings-drawn carriage. I’d never seen something like this before in my life, horse's pulling horse's, or was it pony the term? but it was bizarre to some extent.
As the carriage grew closer, I could tell at a glance that it was a very high class carriage. Its physical appearance showed that it was gorgeously adorned with gold and gems, should I also steal the carriage?...nah then how would I move it. I could tell at a glance that it was the sort of vehicle ridden by a noble, or at least some rich person of high status, maybe I should just ignore it, I don't want to have bad relationships with the nobles in this world, at least for the moment being, so I'll just mind my own business.
However, as I turned to resume walking down, I noticed that it had come to a stop a short way ahead.
“Hey you, over there!” A stallion slammed the carriage door open and stepped out. He was an older stallion with white fur and a splendid black mustache 'Picture Braum from league of legends here'. He was wearing an armor which lead me to believe he was in the military, and he also had a horn.
“Uhm, yes? What is it...?” Clearly excited about something, the older stallion made his way over. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I was mostly just relieved that we seemed to be speaking the same language, cause ain't nobody got the time to learn a new language. The stallion firmly gripped my shoulders and held me in place. His eyes wandered all across my body, I was ready to beat the shit out of him, this was getting weird.
“You're going to canterlot right!?” The stallion asked looking at me with fire on his eyes, fire of passion!.
“Yes” I answered, perhaps this guy could give me a lift. The Stallion was so immersed in scanning me from every angle that he didn’t even pay any attention to my expression of what the actual fuck dude, stop staring at me.
"It's good to know our beautiful country has so many willing stallions and mare's trying to defend it!" the Stallion said with tears on his eyes, and pulling me into a hug. I was really controlling my urge to decapitate him right now, "I'm going to Canterlot, I'll give you a lift, My name is Iron Blueblood."
"Awesome my name is...."I normally didn't care about saying my name out loud, but if the demons reacted to my name like it was the fucking apocalypse, these ponies would all gang on me, so I'll go with. "Reed, my name is Reed."
"A pleasure to meet you Reed, now get in the carriage, I gotta water the trees if you know what I mean." Iron said laughing, and I did as told, opening the car just to see the most ironic development.
"YOU!" the Stallion I strip naked was there with a towel around his body.
"Well shit.."
