//-------------------------------------------------------// Imagination is Infinite -by Undead Equestrian Writer- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Imagine //-------------------------------------------------------// Imagine Ficta sat silently as she painted the wall of her castle, the massive structure capable of making Celestia and Luna jealous. She backed away and smiles at the beautiful castle, the purple walls around the outside sparkling in the beautiful sunlight. She walked inside slowly, the subjects of her kingdom cheering as she walked down the center street of her kingdom. The air smelling of fresh baked goods and lavender, as she walked up the front steps of her castle, opening the gold inlaid doors. "Ahh, Princess Ficta, there you are, we have a problem that needs your attention, the local animal shelter has reported that several animals have escaped," her consierge told her. Ficta frowned and nodded. "I understand, Princess, I'll inform the guard immediately." Ficta came back to reality as the walls of her cardboard castle where kicked down. She looked up and saw the orphanges bully, stomping on her walls. The bully laughed as he destroyed her walls and sanctuary. "Stupid filly, make believe is for foals who can't do anything useful," he smirked. Ficta teared up as she tried to salvage her cardboard castle, but giving up as the bully kept destroying it. "Oh wait, you are useless." "Hey, leave her alone, Bean!" A mare yelled at him, he laughed and backed away from Ficta. "Hey, are you okay, sweetie?" Ficta looked up and stared into the orphange's headmistress, the woman wasn't the nicest mare, but she was compasionate at times. Ficta nodded and grabbed the walls of her castle as the headmistress backed away. Ficta cried as she stared at the smoldering remains of her kingdom adter the attack of the neighboring tribe of barbarians. She turned and left the hill, looking for a new place to build her new kingdom. "Princess, I managed to save some of the denizens of your beautiful kingdom," her military general told her, he and his troops standing around about 20 citizens. "They surprised us, Princess, but next time we'll be ready." Ficta nodded as she lead the 25 ponies to a new site for her kingdom, which would be built twice as strong. Ficta put the small cutouts in her saddlebag as she threw the cardboard into the dumpster behind the orphange, when she felt someone behind her. She turned around and saw the bully and his friends standing against the wall. The slowly approached her, the bully grabbing her saddlebag, and throwing it aside, some of the small cutouts spilling out. She stared at the cutouts of her army falling out. The bully saw them and picked the military general and smirked. "Is this guy ment to save you, ha," he threw it to the ground and pushed her down. "No one can stop me from pushing around the mute, defenseless filly." "Back away from her," Ficta looked up and stared at the her military general. He held a shiny sword up in his magic. The bully backed up slowly, his friends already gone. He helped up Ficta and thrusted at the bully. "Are you okay, princess?" She nods as the bully runs off. Ficta blinks and her savior vanishes, she looks around, seeing a mare standing at the end of an alley before running off. Ficta quickly collects her cutouts and threw them in her bag again. Ficta ran back inside and calmed herself down. "Ficta, somepony is here to see you," Ficta looked up at the headmistress, and cocked her head. The headmistress just smiled and stood in the doorway. "Come now, you don't want to keep them waiting." Ficta swallowed and followed the headmistress, nervous of who was here to meet her. She walked with the headmistress and looked up seeing an alicorn sitting silently, her purple coat and mane looking the same as Ficta's kingdoms walls. "Are you Ficta?" The alicorn asked her. Ficta nodded slowly, unsure if what she was seeing was real. "Hi, my name is Twilight Sparkle." "Ficta is mute, or atleast hasn't shown any signs of wanting to talk," the headmistress told Twilight. Twilight smiled softly. "Ficta, Twilight here is adopting you, so can you go grab your stuff?" Ficta stood still as she looked up at the headmistress. The headmistress looked at her saddlebags and smiled. "Ah yes, okay, well, Ficta, enjoy your new life, we will always remember you here," the headmistress told her before hugging Ficta and returning to the other children. Twilight slowly stood up and smiled. "Um, I guess we can go now," Twilight told Ficta, nervousness in her voice. Twilight had never looked after a filly before, and had no clue of what she was doing. Twilight walked over to Ficta and hugged her. Ficta hugged back, before the two of them walked out of the orphanage and into the busy street of Canterlot. The two walked down to the train station, Ficta looking around at all of Canterlot, the large busy city putting her kingdom to shame. "Do you have any interests, Ficta?" Ficta nodded softly as she looked at her saddlebags. Twilight smiled softly. "That's good, I enjoy having hobbies, as it helps me when I get stressed out," Twilight told her. Ficta smiled softly as the both of the waited for the train to Ponyville. Luna dreamwalked slowly, her night having been slow. Now she was asleep and she was looking through ponies dreams. There weren't many dreams in the day, but she usually found the most interesting ones in the day. She slowly approached one dream, but something felt off about it as she entered it. In the dream she saw a little filly painting the large walls of a kingdom, working away as anypony else would. She watched as she finished painting and walk around into the large gates of the kingdom, but the ponies inside cheered for her, calling her Princess Ficta. She walked up the front steps of a castle and entered it. "Why does this not feel right?" Princess Luna waited for the world outside to melt away like the world usually did in dreams, but everything outside remained the same, ponies keot moving. "Is this not a dream?" The world melted away as the dream ended, but Luna didn't get ejected from the dream, she watched as it tried to spark again, the flashes of it showing barbarians invading a kingdom, and when it started up again the kingdom was a burning mess. Luna saw the same filly, crying softly as she saw her kingdom burn. After a brief conversation with a pony, she walked away and the dream again, not trying to spark anymore. Luna quickly came out of her dreamwalking state as she needed to find this fillys whereabouts. She quickly ran down to the directory, looking for births in Equestria. She found it quickly thanks to the library's expert filing system. She flipped through, looking for a Ficta. She traced the words with her hoof before she found it. Ficta Dream, an orphan at the Canterlot Orphanage for the Lonesome. She nearly flew back to her room where she quickly wrote a letter, addressed to Twilight she told her this filly needed to be watched and supported, as she needed to understand what this filly was doing. She quickly sent the letter to Twilight, and waited. Luna knew she was going to get her, but didn't know happy she would be.
