The sun rises on a small town not far from Ponyville, birds start chirping and ponies start waking up, it's a brand new day.
In the Cookie residence, one pony is already awake, getting everything ready for the day ahead. That pony is Double Choc Cookie, the second eldest of the residents and by far the most responsible.
Double Choc is preparing breakfast for the rest of the house, managing several appliances at once to cook multiple dishes suited to the other ponies. She is the closest thing to a mother in the family of sisters and also the best with magic, no surprise as she's the only Unicorn of two who actually puts time into magic.
The first pony to wake up after Double Choc is the giggly hug-factory called Sugar Cookie, who bounces down the stairs from her room and immediately runs into the kitchen to give Double Choc a morning hug before taking her breakfast to the dining room.
Next to awaken is Cookie n' Cream, the third youngest of the sisters, putting on her hoodie and headphones to head downstairs for breakfast, sitting down to eat silently.
The twins are the next to wake up, White Choc Cookie gets up first, waking her twin sister Dark Choc Cookie so the two fillies can energetically run downstairs, sitting next to each other at the dining room table.
After what she considers a fun night, Heart Cookie wakes up to a sadly empty bed and decides to go downstairs to get breakfast. Double Choc tells her to have a shower because the musk hanging around her is noticeable.
Brownie Cookie has been awake since Sugar woke up, but she's been drawing in her room up to now, only coming down because she's realized the time. Double Choc already knew Brownie would be late, so there's no surprise when she peaks her head into the kitchen with a nervous smile.
After everyone else has their food, Double Choc finally joins them in the dining room with her own breakfast, which she finishes before anyone else because there's a lot to do and only so much time to do it.
As each pony finishes their food they head off to different locations, Sugar flops onto the living room sofa to relax and play some games, Cream goes out the back door to practice on her own, Double Choc takes the Twins outside to teach them, Brownie walks upstairs to her room and Heart heads out into town.
Sugar plays some puzzle games, she finds them a bit challenging but she feels great when she solves a problem. She might not be the smartest of the sisters, but she's always smiling, there's not much in this world that can bring Sugar down. Sugar's personality is almost as fluffy as the clouds she likes to sleep on.
In the backyard there's a lot of blue and green flashes as Cream practices summoning objects, she's getting much better at it but she's still got a lot to learn if she wants to match her mother. Despite being an Earth pony she's able to control magic on-par with an average Unicorn and is a pretty quick learner, having learned a good amount of basic spells by now.
Just outside the house Double Choc has set up a table with a few objects on it for the Twins to practice telekinesis on. Like Cream, the Twins are Earth ponies, they have a lot more trouble with magic than Cream does, but Double Choc is determined to teach them as much as she can.
Now in her room, Brownie lays on her bed and stares out the window, looking for inspiration. Brownie is one of the two Unicorns of the house, though she mostly uses her magic for telekinesis when drawing and not much else.
Heart is the most charming of the sisters and the oldest, spending most nights with someone in her bed. When she was younger she would stay with one pony for a while, but these days she usually doesn't stay with one pony for more than a night. Right now she's buying groceries. She can't handle being cooped up in the house for long, she's the kind of Pegasus who craves freedom and flight.
Double Choc brings the Twins inside so she can start preparing lunch, the Twins decide to join Sugar in the Lounge room until then. Even though Double Choc takes care of the Twins, it's Sugar who usually ends up entertaining them.
As lunchtime nears, the sisters congregate in the dining room, Heart dropping groceries off with Double Choc before joining everyone else at the dining room table. Brownie is late as usual, she's lost track of time. Double Choc rings a bell to get Brownie to come down for lunch.
After lunch everyone disperses again, Sugar going outside to fly around a bit for exercise and Heart joining her for her own reasons; Cream, the Twins and Brownie taking some time to play a board game together and Double Choc handling some work in her room, which may as well be an office.
Sugar takes a break to rest on a cloud, Heart decides to join her. Heart only joins Sugar a couple of times a week, so she tries to stay close-by when she does. The two sisters start chatting about their weeks, getting comfortable on the cloud.
The Twins decide on Sorry! for today, the other two sisters go along as they always do. Dark has always had a bit of trouble with magic and prefers to use her hooves instead of telekinesis, which can be a bit troublesome with such tiny pieces. The game comes down to both White and Cream almost winning, with Cream eventually getting the winning move, leaving White as grumpy as a filly can be, pouting adorably.
Double Choc goes through mountains of paperwork each day with ease, not much to note. As dinner time nears she heads downstairs to start cooking dinner, asking Cream to go get Sugar and Heart if they're still out when dinner time comes.
The Twins and Brownie sit at the dining room table as their dinners are served, at the same time Cream heads out to find her two tardy sisters. Luckily for her the cloud they're lounging on is close to the ground so they can hear her shouting at them. Sugar wraps Cream in a hug before they return home.
Cream, Heart, and Sugar walk in talking, Cream barely gets to spend time with her older sisters these days. Everyone gathers at the dining table to eat dinner, having some nice conversations about their days and news. The Twins finish up quickly, being rewarded with their deserts.
After they finish their deserts, the Twins head up to their room to relax for a while before bed. They spend the time playing with a few toys and talking about random ideas they've had. Double Choc comes in a small time after to get them into bed before heading back downstairs to join the other sisters.
Gathering in the living room, the rest of the sisters get comfortable on the sofa to watch a movie. Double Choc levitates a few movies up and the sisters vote on which one to watch. To Heart's dismay, the winning movie isn't the R rated one but rather the less sexy, less hot, more action-packed of the three.
As the movie comes to an end, Double Choc picks up Brownie's sleeping form to take her to her room as the rest of the sisters head up on their own. Double Choc is really worried about Brownie's sleep pattern, she tries to make up for the lack of quantity with quality but she knows she has to sleep much more than she does.
Double Choc finally gets to head to bed after a long day, she flops onto her bed and quickly passes out, sleeping peacefully. The Twins sleep cuddling together adorably, Heart sleeps restlessly and alone, Brownie snores in her sleep, Sugar has trouble getting to sleep because of excitement and Cream listens to calm music for a bit to get to sleep. The night is over, tomorrow is another day.
