After over a year of isolation at the edge of the Everfree Forest, Golden Whisper has a chance encounter with a rather unassuming young colt. He finds her small home, carved haphazardly out of the banks of a small river. Her paranoia stills her, paralyzed in fear for what this pegasus could be here for, and by extension, what he wanted from her. As she looks him over from inside her small hut, however, While she scans his features, something about the way he carries himself strikes her as rather odd.
Not just the missing leg which accounts for his quite drastic limp, but something about his eyes, his expression. In his face there was an all too familiar pain, which drew him into a frame of kinship she couldn't quite place her hoof on. He had seen hardships, that much was apparent, but that would only speak for so much...
