Princess Cadence, and Shining Armor, had gotten used to deal with their daughter's magical surges. They had grown weaker as she had gotten older, making containing the surges just another part of raising a foal.

Though not all the surges can be contained, and a young mare that has just woken from a nightmare wants nothing more then a big strong mother to watch over her.

Quickly, Cadence finds herself outgrowing the castle, and Shining Armor is growing right along with her. So, they do the only logical thing, and sneak off into the mountains to enjoy each other until they stop growing.
