Twilight and Luna walked in the woods, each with their stuff to camp. Luna and Twilight Sparkle had their backpacks with their things inside.
“Are we there yet?” asked Luna.
“Not yet, Luna”, said Twilight Sparkle still looking forward.
“But my hooves are already hurt from so much walking!” Shouted Luna.
“Why don’t you use your wings?” asked Twilight Sparkle looking at her friend.
“Of course,” said Luna. “How stupid of me!”
Luna fluttered her wings and left the floor.
“Let’s camp here”, said Twilight Sparkle as she put her backpack on the floor with her magic.
“Thank you for inviting me to come and camp with you, Twilight,” said Luna with a smile. “Sometimes staying in the castle can be kind of tedious and monotonous.”
Twilight took her eyes off her backpack to answer Luna: “Thank you Luna. I just hope that my presence isn't disrupting any of your real duties that you have. "
“Twilight, you know your presence would never bother me and even though I’m the princess of the night, i can spend time with you”, said Luna with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear that", said Twilight Sparkle with a small smile before your attention returns to your backpack.
After Twilight and Luna have finished assembling and tidying their tents they are looking for sticks to make the fire in the bonfire.
While searching for sticks, Luna couldn’t stop thinking about Twilight Sparkle. The time she and Twilight spent together meant a lot to her. She was very happy that Twilight has befriended her since her return. Since Twilight helped her on Nightmare Night, she started thinking about Twilight more than usual. At first she thought it was just feelings that friends felt for each other, but the longer she spent her time with Twilight, she began to realize that the princess of friendship appreciated and loved the night she brought. Maybe, that’s when Luna realized she didn’t feel feelings of friendship in Twilight Sparkle, but feelings of lovers. And she would enjoy this starry night to confess her love.
But her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the voice of Twilight Sparkle: “Come to the bonfire, Luna.”
Twilight Sparkle was sitting on a log that was near the bonfire not yet lit.
Luna came over to sit on a log that was beside her as Twilight used her magic to make the fire appear at the stake.
The fire then appeared in the middle of the branches that were on the ground.
“Ready. Campfire lit “, said Twilight Sparkle with a smile.
Twilight used her magic to take a bag of white Marshmallows and offer Luna: “Would you like a Marshmallow?”
“Yes, please”, said Luna as she picked up a Marshmallow with her magic and ate it.
After Twilight and Luna have eaten, Twilight and Luna have been telling horror stories. Each story they told, one became more frightened by the story the other told. But they were having fun.
After having told several scary stories, Twilight entered her tent. Luna seemed confused by this.
“Are you sleeping now, Twilight?” asked Luna confused.
“No, Luna” said Twilight Sparkle inside the tent.
“Then why did you come into the tent?” asked Luna still confused.
Twilight came out of the tent with a mini telescope in her magic.
“It was for me to get my telescope”, said Twilight Sparkle.
“You really love watching the stars, don’t you?” Luna asked with a smile on her face.
“Yeah, since filly”, said Twilight Sparkle.
Luna was happy that Twilight enjoyed the night since filly. And it made her happy inside.
“Twilight, I have something to confess to you", said Luna.
“Confess what?” asked Twilight Sparkle with a raised eyebrow.
Luna began to sweat nervously. But she decided to talk anyway: “Twilight, I love you, but more so than as a friend. Since you helped me on Nightmare Night and spent time together I started having those feelings. At first I thought it was the feelings of friends, but then I began to realize that it was more than that. And now I’d like to ask you, would you like to be my Marefriend? "
Twilight Sparkle was a bit surprised by Luna’s statement. But she couldn’t deny that she felt the same as Luna. The time she and Luna spent together was unforgettable for Twilight Sparkle. She always thought Princess Luna was beautiful.
“Yes, Luna,” said Twilight Sparkle. “I accept being your Marefriend.”
“And I’d like to confess that I feel the same as you do,” said Twilight Sparkle with a blush on her cheek.
Luna can’t help, but feel happy about what Twilight confessed to.
Luna resolved to get closer to Twilight Sparkle. When Luna got very close to Twilight Sparkle, she unfolded one of her wings and hugged Twilight Sparkle with the wing.
“Comfortable, love?” Luna asked.
Twilight couldn’t stop blushing with the affectionate nickname used by Luna.
“Y-yes, Luna,” said Twilight Sparkle timidly.
It was nearly three o’clock in the morning and she was still hugging Luna’s wing as she stared at the stars with the telescope at her side.
Twilight suddenly yawned tired and sleepy.
“I realize a pony is asleep”, said Luna with a smile on her face while she looked at Twilight Sparkle.
“N-no,” Twilight said sleepily, trying to stay awake. “The night is still young ...”
But it was no use. Twilight Sparkle fell asleep and threw herself on the floor of exhaustion.
Luna saw the sleeping form of Twilight and took her with her magic and entered the hut and put Twilight Sparkle in the sleeping bag on the floor of the tent.
Before Luna could leave Twilight Sparkle’s hut and go to her cabin, all of a sudden, her rear hooves were pick up.
“Don’t go, Luna ... Sleep here with me ...” said Twilight sleepily, still with closed eyes with a smile.
“Okay, love”, Luna said with a smile before laying down in her sleeping bag and hugging Twilight Sparkle with her hooves and falling asleep.
