The Beginning

The beginning
On Earth William's House

William was working on a freelance programming project , after a few hours he stopped to play some games before heading to bed

3 hours later location William's house

After 3 hours he woke up in a cold sweat and all stiff and looks at his phone noticing it isn't charging and that there is no electricity "Strange" He mutters before heading to the breaker

"Hmm it seems in order power outage maybe?" He said still stiff as he got shocked by the sound of growling

"I don't have any dogs on my property last time I ..." He stopped talking in shock as he looks out the window and sees a forest outside
"What the actual hell!!" he shouted as he looks outside he sees what seems to be a wooden wolf

"Wait is that not... Nope, impossible, I'm still dreaming no way , I have read to many fanfics this isn't possible"

the timberwolf growled and noticed William through the windows and lunged at them hitting it failing to get inside and snarls

William found this humorous and laughed "Well for a dream its rather funny to see a timberwolf hit a window and fall back , hmm this is rather a Lucid dream so might as well have some fun , now let's see if my house has the same tools as my house when i'm awake.sadly I can't seem to manipulate this dream like some other dreams I had but well might still have fun" he responded while walking to his little tinker room passing his not yet connected solar generator and panels and unfinished projects as he heads to a dusty tool box taking out an axe

"Well I hardly use this well time to have some fun still hate that I feel so sore" he heard the snarls of the timberwolf still hitting the house its windows and doors trying to get inside

"Fisty little thing aren't you" he responded to the now mildly irritating timberwolf.

As he opened the door the timberwolf jumped at him and bit his arm causing William to hit the beast with the axe and look in anger as he started to slash at the timberwolf in anger with the axe.

The beast its legs cracking and breaking under the slashes of the axe before ending with the axe imbedded in it's skull.

William took the axe out of the timberwolf its skull with an angry growl "Bloody hell that hurt , well I can count out the dream idea , shit!" He shouted while wincing in pain of the bite before heading inside to get a first aid kit to treat his wound

"I don't know if this is punishment from all freaking mighty god or some freak accident that I'm here but fuck , I'd better prepare I don't wanna end up wolf chow or whatever else lives in this damn forest" he heads inside his tinker room and looks at his in uninstalled solar generator and starts setting it up taking his tools with a big sigh

"I need electricity I rather not have all my food go bad and have my electrical tools become use less"He said before going outside to install the solar panels

The sound of working attracted some unwanted attention from a manticore.

William looked at it in shock "Shit shit shit shit" he quickly the soldering iron he took to solder on the electrical wires for the solar panels and generator for his defense as the manticore headed towards him ready to attack only to get burned at its paws and face by the human who jabbed the hot soldering iron at the manticore in It's fright the manticore growled and rushed away in pain of his now scorched body parts.

William let out a sigh of relief "Bloody hell Thats scary well I'll have to clean the soldering iron but damn I'm lucky my house and stuff came along with me"

Meanwhile in the golden oak library

Twilight was muzzle deep in a book but then suddenly felt something strange when she put her book down Rarity came in the golden oak library and rushed to twilight

"Twilight Darling were you working on a magical experiment again?" Rarity asked

Twilight looked at Rarity "No I didn't but there was a small fluctuation in ambient magic , I just wanted to go and see what caused it" The unicorn replied before putting her book away as she gets up.

Spike heard Rarity and blushed waving at her as he came out of the kitchen "Hi Rarity" Spike said in a loving way as he looked at the mare

Rarity looked at the young dragon "Hello Spikey Darling" the white unicorn replied

Twilight looked at Spike "Spike I'll be off to look into something will you take care of the Library when I'm out "

Spike looked at twilight and nodded with a big smile.

Twilight smiled back and said "That's my number one assistant" She replied before leaving the golden oak library

"I'll see you later darling" Rarity responded to the young dragon before following Twilight.

"So Twilight Darling what was that strange feeling and effect on magic" Rarity asked the made

Twilight looked at Rarity with a big smile "It was a ambient magic fluctuation normally you have them near major spells relying on the ambient magic in the area though I wonder what could cause such a big flux in ambient magic" Twilight said walking through ponyville following the trail of the magical fluctuation. Before being met by Rainbow Dash.

"Twilight something weird just happened I was laying on a cloud just chilling after some practice but then suddenly poof I fell through it and fell on another cloud, did you do one of your egg head experiment's again" Rd asked twilight

Rarity looked at rainbow and responded "No dear it wasn't Twilight who did so I already asked her if she was doing experiments"

Twilight looked worried "So the ambient magic got low enough to make you fall through a cloud that's dangerous"

RD looked at Twilight and asked "Can you translate that from egghead to pony?"

Twilight looked annoyed but calmed down understanding that not every pony has expertise in magic and said "Well you know how everything has magic in it the plants even the air water and the rest it went pretty low for a while causing well issues its stable now but I'm following it's faint trail so we can find out what caused it"

RD looked at Twilight "so the magic got low and weird things happened got it , well when I find the mare or monster responsible for this I'll kick their flank to Tartarus. " she said boldly.

Twilight nodded "I agree causing a magic fluctuation of such magnitude is dangerous some pony could have gotten hurt" Twilight replied as her friends and her followed the trail

A while later in the Everfree Forest

William was done setting up the solar panels and generator for his house as he felt like he was being watched and he saw two Hazel blue eyes causing him to take his stuff into his house

"I can't deal with more right now , I need to rest first" he thought as he looks outside he noticed the Hazel blue eyes are gone.

He takes a cola out of his fridge and sits down in his sofa "thank god my house and stuff came along with me" he said before drinking and relaxing in his sofa as he thought deeply about his situation.

While looking out his window noticing some small birds and smiles "at least the small beautiful things remain" he says smiling at the beautiful birds who when they noticed him flew off "Awe come on" he sighed

Back with Twilight and the rest

The three mares were discussing while following the trail

"Twilight are you sure about this?" Rainbow Dash replied

"The trail leads into the Everfree we will need Fluttershy her expertise with animals on this" She replied

"Well Darling, I'd rather not have to deal with any monsters since I recently had a hooficure. I can't stand the thought some vile monster causing more issues with magic the fabric I was working on is ruined" Rarity said to her friends as they walked to fluttershy her cottage

Fluttershy was outside feeding some squirrels when the girls arrived near her cottage she saw them coming but her attention was grabbed by a few birds that flew to her and started talking to her

"Oh my , that sounds scary and dangerous, oh" she replied in her soft kind voice to the birds their chirping then her friends head towards her.

"Fluttershy, we will need your help . I know you don't like going in the Everfree but something strange has happened" Twilight said to Fluttershy

"Miss Blue feather just told me about a strange creature in the forest in a house maybe it has something to do with it"

"A house who builds a house in the Everfree and why would a monster do so?" Rainbow asked

"Maybe it's not a monster but a smart creature , maybe it's been living secluded in the Everfree for its hole life. I might discover a new species and its intelligent" Twilight said enthusiastically

"Still would be a uncivilized brute if it has chosen to life in the Everfree if you ask me" Rarity replied

"Uhm ... Well miss blue feathers said it was in shock and anger when it noticed a manticore so , I think it is lost she did say it made a manticore flee and killed a timberwolf" fluttershy replied

"Wait it scared of a manticore , that's awesome" Rainbow Dash shouted

"And also very dangerous if its a lost predator in a unknown location it could stroll out and attack ponies , it might just be as smart as cave ponies so it could still be dangerous" Twilight added

"Well from what blue feathers told me it only attacked after being attacked or near its home it didn't hurt miss blue feathers and her family it just smiled and seemed to be wearing clothes" fluttershy said

"It wore clothes , hmm maybe it is intelligent I do hope its isn't just cave pony rags and which pony in their right mind would stay in the forest?" Rarity asked

"Maybe we can find out , maybe Zecora knows about this strange creature" Twilight added

"Well what are we waiting for the creature scared of a manticore , I wanna see how awesome and scary it is" Rainbow said

And so the four mares went into the Everfree to speak with Zecora about the strange creature

Later at Zecora her hut

Twilight and the four mares went inside of Zecora her hut

"Aah my friends have come to talk , tell me why this dangerous trail you walk" Zecora said welcoming the mares

"Hi Zecora ,We are here to ask you about a strange creature in the Everfree?" Twilight said

"In the forest many creatures I see, more precise you need to be" Zecora replied

"Well we are looking for a strange creature that lives in a house wearing clothing we think it has something to do with some issues with magic before" Twilight replied to Zecora

"The issue with magic I had too, while making a special kind of brew. This creature you speak of I did see but after some thought I let it be. Wounded i thought it would stay but treated his arm was so I went away" Zecora replied

"His?! it's a stallion? All alone here" Twilight replied in shock

"Yes that realization have me a scare when I noticed its facial hair. But mareless as he maybe , he scared away and killed a beast of the Everfree. First I thought he went out in fright but all he did was restore captured light." Zecora answered

"Captured light? He knows magic and is all alone , why didn't you do anything he might be scared or starving" Twilight replied angrily

"Oh .. No I wouldn't want the poor stallion to be scared and alone" fluttershy said worried

"Magic I don't think it be , atleast not known to you or me. As for him I'd not be scared for it seems he is well prepared" Zecora replied

"Darling we can't just leave a stallion of any kind out in the wild even if he is of a strange race we don't know , we all know how emotional and weak they are" Rarity responded

"Yeah like a weak stallion of any race can scare a manticore" RD replied in disbelief

"Maybe it used the ambient magic to make it strong to suppress the stallion their weakness of heart" Twilight replied

"So it used so much magic not to be a chicken and to survive lame" Rainbow replied

"Rainbow!! That's no way to talk about a stallion" Rarity replied

"Why not it isn't here so it won't cry cause it can't hear me" Rainbow replied

"... Um can we go look for him, I'm worried and I'd rather not want to see it in a poor location and underfed without care" fluttershy said softly

"Of its abode you do not need worry made stone and strong inside he will surely last long" Zecora said

"That only makes it more stranger and dangerous if he has to use that magic again who knows what will happen and which mare leaves a house for a stallion in the middle of the Everfree" Twilight sighed and then rushed out followed by her friends

meanwhile in William's house

"Well I got enough food and snacks for now I got electricity now I only need water , more protection and well maybe a little garden for food , I wonder if I can eat manticore or if there are any wild bunnies or other animals to eat" he sighed

"well I can't complain still why the Everfree of all places to be dumped in and how is it even possible well not like I can find a way back nor would I want to I mean if I can get comfy enough , still I wonder how far on the timeline I'm at what season corresponds with now if they even do" William sigh's loudly

"too many unknowns to deal with still it could be worse I mean at least I have something of home with me" he said as he stands up

"Still so darn stiff and a bit nauseous now too , maybe its something in the air or something to do with coming here hell through whatever means I ended up here it could just be temporary side effects" He thought he then closes and locks everything up and enjoys a nice cup of tea

Sorry if the story is set before the twilicorn era, also I preemptively already added tags for later chapters also the anthro descriptions wouldn't make sense if it was given by a pony POV , next chapter Is soon also sorry for the slow development as for the story will continue soon I sorta want things to build up logically story wise and I hope it isn't to bad since it's my first story here

A dream visit and meeting some locals

Inside William his house , location Everfree

After his calm tea and some food William felt a little tired even with the sun still out so he went back to bed.

"Hopefully some rest will do me some good I'm happy what ever brought me here made a clearing"He thought still feeling sore as he headed to bed having the most peculiar dream.

It was of earth but a strange version it showed human in robes and armour fighting with each others and beings of myth laughing of the destruction left in their wake
"What the fuck , well pretty accurate though I mean without magic humans already kill and fuck up a lot so this is rather realistic representation" he said in his dream unknown someone was watching him in the dream realm.

His dream switched over to what can only be described as a magical battlefield with houses torn asunder but it seemed empty except for 3 humans well if you can still call them that one had wings another had a skeletal hand and one seemed normal but had the attire of an alchemist bottles of potions hanging on their belt

"Did I play to many fantasy RPGs cause this dream is strange" William said irritated as the three seemed to do a ritual and spoke in a language he didn't understand which was followed up by a giant flash of light that pulled more light from everywhere around it as the surrounding area in the dream turned to a normal field but on the person with the skeletal a skull of what seemed to be a horned beast similar to a dragon from some fantasy game started to disappear as well as some of the strange features of the three people

"Ugh well at least things look better I don't know what that glowing light that is going to where they stand is though seems to Come from everywhere, ugh strange dreams" William sighed

"I agree thou art a strange creature with strange dreams as for why thus doesn't wake this is normal for thine kind I take" a unknown voice rang

"Who is there?" William looked around and notices an anthropomorphic Lady with dark night sky blue hair with stars in it , a horn and wings that seemed to wear a regal dress and had hooves instead of feet he looked in shock

"Well my dream just got weirder either my subconscious is trying to tell me something I didn't expect to like or I have a visitor in my dreams" He replied looking at The anthropomorphic alicorn till he recognised what the regal dress style made him remember.

"Thou art indeed strange hasn't gotten thee a visit during restless night of terror before during thine stay within Equestria? Or hast thou been so secluded by thine herd that thou doesn't knowest me and why hasn't thou broken in tears from this sight in your dreams?" She asked as if asking a child

William just looked in shock at who he was talking too "I uhm ... Sort of know of you but honestly what do you mean a herd and why are you here, I'm pretty sure it was still day when I decided to nap? And why would I cry?" He asked her

"Thou are a stallion aren't thou , how would thee not know what a herd is if thee are in Equestria , art thou feeling well does thine head mare not take thour wellbeing in regard? She asked confused

" head mare? Stallion? Listen your Highness I'm sorry but I'm not a pony so the term stallion doesn't fit my race but what do you mean with head mare and you haven't told me yet why you have come in my dream?"

"Thou art a funny stallion or what thine species term for it may be. As for thine question we were wondering what creature would be sleeping in the epicenter of a magical fluctuation and having such troublesome dreams" she replied but with a hint of compassion for a unknown reason

"So basically curiosity good to know well I'd rather not have well anybody snooping in my head cause honestly I'm starting to feel a headache" he replied

"What does thou mean with anybody , thus thou mean anypony?" She replied

William nodded while holding his head in his dream against the pain

"Thour rest is being disturbed by pain in thine head but does thou not need comfort young stallion thou art handling the pain well but thou aren't crying did thine herd mothers treat thy poorly and why art thou putting up such a strong front thine need not hide thine emotional side of thine princess" Luna asked worried and is ready to try and use a memory prying spell on William but as she does so the pain becomes worse and makes William wake up in cold sweat more sore then before and with a heavy headache

"Ouich what the hell did Luna do and what did she mean with those strange terms , ugh and worse she was treating me as a weak wall flower that's just" he let's out a wince of pain

"bloody headache and what the hell was she trying to do? Well better try to figure things out later" he sighed as he layed down on his bed then got up

As he stood up his head felt like he got hit by a darn truck and he seemed to gain a fever "What the actually hell did she try to do and why did she look like a anthro fan art drawing and not a pony , well she was still attractive though" William thought as he looked for an aspirin and walked to the kitchen sink and turned a nob "

Right no water pipes in a forest , ugh well it isn't advised but to hell with it , I'll take it with soda then" he grabbed a bottle of cola out the fridge and took the aspirin with some cola

When he sat down hoping the medication would kick in he heard someone or some pony shout outside

"I found the place girls" Rd shouted but as she flew above it she crashed and made a lot of noise

William recognised the voice since it was perfectly similar to the show but Rainbow Dash her shouting and the crash only made his headache worse

"Really the worst time to have a headache" he sighed and looked outside at a crashed anthropomorphic Rainbow dash

Well she is dressed thank God this place isn't all nude like the cartoon cause dear god if it weren't for that then well I don't know hmm still without clothes they'd look good too ... No don't think that, She Is a anthropomorphic Pegasus with cute blue fur a white tank top and a short black training short on for god sake he thought

While William was arguing with some inner demons and morals Rarity Fluttershy and twilight approached the house seeing Rd get up from her little accident

"This is interesting this place has such low amount of magic like a blank spot the grass here shouldn't be growing but it is probably the lack of magic must have pushed part of the Everfree back and this creature it's house it looks far beyond what I could guess" Twilight's voice rang out a overly enthusiastic interest (which is never a good sign)

"I must say the creature has some taste I was expecting a disgusting cave like structure or worse" Rarity responded

"Rainbow dash why were you laying on the ground?" Twilight asked

"I flew to close to this place and poof, I fell down I couldn't fly That's what happened I'm done with all this weird stuff let's get the stallion somewhere safe and find out what's going on"Rd responded bluntly

"I agree, I have so much to research about this weird stallion its home and itself" Twilight replied

William was looking outside and noticed a expression on twilight her face of pure well over enthusiastic interest as he looked outside the mares noticed him but his first instinct was locking the door and moving away

"Wait we are here to help you dear , though I must say you have a nice attire of clothing on" Rarity replied trying to woo the strange stallion out with ment compliments

"Don't worry girls I'll use a simple spell to unlock the door"twilight got ready in front of the door as her horn glowed but the purple glow got absorbed by the house and door leaving twilight in shock

" Yeah that doesn't seem to be working, Hey come out big guy if you can fight a manticore and kill a direwolf some mares ain't going to scare you?"

"Uhm... Maybe we should let it be i... Mean it might never seen ponies before and remember its a stallion" Fluttershy said softly

"That's it, yes I've never seen ponies before but the one thing that scares me is the purple unicorn with the overly enthusiastic face that , and she even tried to break in with I don't know what that purple magic so and a blue Pegasus which previously stated she want to take me from my home but hell no I'm staying here go find somepony else to drag out of house and home" he responded angrily

"Wait he can talk?!" Twilight seemed more exited

"Yes it seems so dear but it seems both you and Rainbow Dash have already made the poor stallion uncomfortable Darling maybe me and Fluttershy can talk to him" she said kindly

"We wouldn't want the poor dear to have an episode" Fluttershy said to her friends who sighed deeply and nodded

Episode? he thought. What do they mean with that , ugh I swear my Brony knowledge ain't helping jack shit here but as long as the abduct friendly Pegasus and professor house cracker stay out I guess I can trust them since Fluttershy seems to be the same like the show soft and caring so she wouldn't do anything

"Uhm ... mister Everfree stallion can we please come in me and my friends are worried about you since... The Everfree... Is a dangerous place" she asked in a kind soft voice

Damn Fluttershy why are you so kind and cute , I just can't say no he thought

"Uhm ok you and your white friend can come in but no funny business"

"Hmm that's wonderful Darling also may I see your exquisite clothes I saw you wear I wonder what kind of clothing your kind wears" Rarity said while William opened the door still holding his machete

"You can but those two can't come in" he glared daggers at twilight and rainbow dash

"I'm very sure they didn't mean to frighten you Darling" Rarity replied as she and Fluttershy walked in they looked around both amazed and in shock for a certain Smell was missing

"So are you OK you don't have to keep holding that sword now nopony will hurt you"Fluttershy said smiling and William put the machete next to him unarming himself causing the yellow Pegasus to make a shee noise

"Too cute noise , sorry that noise you just made was adorable" William then thought about something as he rushed to lock his uhm bedroom

"Why did you lock that room Darling" William smiled "Uhm just embarasing hobbies" he lied , he didn't want to explain the mlp plushies and figurines in his bedroom

"I'll let you see my clothes later miss can I offer you two anything to drink" he said smiling Fluttershy noticed William his teeth

"You're a carnivore?" Fluttershy asked scared

"More like omnivorous though my race is labeled as carnivorous because the amount of meat we eat but uhm don't worry no pony or horse meat or well whatever is sentient here cause that would be against my ethics" he replied a bit nervous not wanting to scare the mares

Fluttershy seemed calmer while twilight outside was taking notes and following the conversation rainbow just seemed bored as can be.

"Hmm I don't think a stallion like you would have any red wine laying around" Rarity asked

"I actually do I only drink it on special occasions though still if it you want some well you two are my guests and have been polite and didn't act strange , what Do you want yellow miss" William said since he thinks since no pony introduced themselves it be well um strange to call them by their names

"I... I am Fluttershy and.... I'd like tea if it isn't thats ... Alright for you.. " she said in a soft tone

"Some nice soft calming tea for the cute calming Pegasus" he smiles at her but his actions made the two mares confused

"I am Rarity , outside are two of my friends Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle"she said still trying to act normal even at the strange behavior of the stallion

"I'm William , William Cross" he said kindly

William came back with multiple glasses a red wine bottle and multiple cups and tea
"Here's said tea for the soothing Pegasus and Red wine for the well mannered Lady" William Says as he prepares their drink and hands it to them

"What a gentle colt , still your action's are a bit strange darling"Rarity said

"And how am I strange is it impolite to ensure guests are well taken care off?" He asked confused

"... She uhm doesn't mean that I mean...uhm ... The compliments and... Way you talk... Is a bit... "Fluttershy said something really softly so William couldn't hear the rest of the sentence

" uhm , I'm sorry miss Fluttershy I didn't catch that" William responded with a smile

"She means your a crazy stallion that doesn't make sense and gives compliment like a mare would which is bucking crazy" RD responded irritated from being locked out

"Rainbow Darling mind your language , stallions are sensitive" Rarity and twilight responded to her

William just laughs "what from the word bucking if it synonymous for what I think it is you don't need to worry about that , sorry I'm just.. Well first Luna in my dream acting as if I'm supposed to be a delicate wall flower its well funny to which extreme you think it goes bit annoying too but more hilarious in this situation" he replied still trying his best not to break into more laughter

The only thing he gets is worried looks from Fluttershy and Rarity

"So ... No Smell of any female in a house and a stallion all alone , oh poor dear" Rarity and fluttershy hugged William only causing William to be confused

"Maybe the lack of a mare broke the poor stallion to become like that since I don't Smell a mare around" Twilight said while looking inside "he probably doesn't even know anything else who knows how much he is hurting under it all"

"Or He really became tougher then other stallions" Rd responded

Fluttershy and Rarity were crying in the hug causing William to feel sad and try to dry their tears "OK girls what's going on what's with the waterworks , was it something I did or said sorry I'm confused"

'It's nothing deary its just whatever made a stallion end up alone and here well strange we can only imagine how your herd mothers treated you and how hard it was for you until now"

Fluttershy nodded still crying while William tries to comfort them.

"There there you two shouldn't worry I don't know what a herd mother is or well the rest really why you are so sad but honesty I'm OK and have a good life minus the well lack of water and annoying critters" William responded while smiling

Fluttershy and Rarity were no longer crying but looked in shock at the stallion only imaging worse but seeing the smile of the strange stallion they are happy and hug him

"Uhm thanks for the hugs" he said confused

"OK now I can't even stand this , this stallion hasn't been raised well I don't mind the feminine side but this is just wrong" Twilight said

Fluttershy looked at William "Are you sure you don't wanna come with my friends ,you must have it hard " she asked looking up at William looking cute as can be

"I'm sorry Flutters ,I can't leave my home it's well the only thing I have from where I come from" he replied as he smiles at her

"don't worry I'm a tough cookie so don't. Be sad also it might just be a racial difference since I'm no pony I mean I'm not actually from around here" he replied

Twilight outside heard William talk "

"So you aren't native to the Everfree , so are you a lost predator did someone summon you with magic may we come in I'd like to take notes and well rather not be in the open?"Twilight asked

William sighed and let her and Rainbow Dash in
" I'm letting you in no funny business I stay in my house and no dragging me against my will" he said in a threatening tone as he stared at Twi and Rainbow

"Come on you don't have claws have weird hoof things you walk on, your not that scary" Rd replied

"Well I'm happy you think so but well the manticore thought different" he replied

"Well maybe you got lucky" Rd responded as she and twilight walked in

"Lucky I think scorching the flesh of any creature trying to attack you is enough to make a point" he replied

"But how did u make metal hot I don't sence a lot of magic here and what are you? Where is your mare or what your species name for it maybe and how doesn't this place have any sent of mare's at all" Twilight asked looking at William

"One electricity no magic , two I don't have magic where I come from so any magic related question will be pure speculation in the future , I'm a single man or stallion as you call it since I had bad relationships and I'd rather stay alone and this house wasn't build by a mare it was build by me and well some people I hired back where I came from, as for what I am human or well homo sapien , I could lookup in one of my books what the precise scientific categorisation is , and my apologies if I seem strange but coming from a place where my race is the only sapient creature and where magic and most things I've seen until now are the stuff of legends and hmm old pony tales I think your term would be I might seems strange because of that"

"Wait wait wait if you don't have magic how do you control the weather?" Rd asked

"We don't ,weather clouds the sun and moon all work by themselves , I noticed here the clouds move by themselves too but considering what you said it is abnormal yes" he replied while twilight was still wrapping her head around what William said about his world

"Thats impossible everything has magic" twilight looks at William as she then prepares a spell to scan the magical energies inside William to proof him wrong

"Wow what are you planning to do?" William took a few steps back and grabbed his machete

"Just a little magic spell to check how much magic you contain cause I don't believe a place without magic exists" twilight replied

"Uhm.... Maybe that isn't a good idea if his habitat doesn't have any magic or not a lot it could harm him...." Fluttershy replied

Twilight didn't listen and cast the spell but just like with the door the magic got absorbed before doing its function sadly for William it got absorbed into him causing him to cry in pain as he began to become feverish

"Oh no ... Sorry I just wanted to do a little test if you had any magic I , if a weak spell like this already affects him ambient magic in the area must cause him discomfort" twilight stated

"In normal pony " Rd replied

Fluttershy was about to speak but William as he cried in pain started to speak

"It's very simple my body sees the magical energy as an invading power isn't attuned to it and is well getting harmed by it" he winced out in pain

"So the stallion is an egg head too" Rd replied

"Well Thats the best theoretical explanation , I'm impressed a stallion figures it out" Twilight said looking at William with a big smile

"He is in pain he needs help" Fluttershy said while trying to take care of the human

"If he can't handle magic we can't do much for him" Twilight replied

"Oh that just can't stand if we can't take him out for care we must bring the care here we can't let this well mannered gentle Colt just fend for himself" Rarity replied

"What about the slow exposure tactic" William replied still sweating and in pain but trying to not show it too much

"What do you mean darling?" Rarity asked

"Well my body isn't used to magic a slow exposure would have milder effects so my body can adapt to it slowly though it means I'm Still stuck here for a while but it should help" he replied

"That's a clever idea but you said before you had no water and I don't think you have food for the entire period , and well we can't always be there to take care of you" Twilight replied

"Awe come on he doesn't need constant babysitting I mean sure he has been raised bad for a stallion but it made him tougher and he is a smart one . With help of some of us at times He surely can last here till he can handle magic" Rd said proudly

William laughed and coughed "yeah a little fever ,stiffness and headaches ain't bringing Me down, as for water well I have a little idea but I'd need a certain fabric that is used as filling in shoulder pads some metal pipes a bit of plastic and other well things I can give you the list" William said

"Oh no no Mister you are sick you aren't doing any weird things, you rest" Fluttershy said sternly

"Yeah I know its hard for you but just let us mares handle things darling" Rarity said comfortingly

"Well I just thought since Rd can't fly around the house and magic is so low I'd use my kinds knowledge and maybe make an electric water pump with a filter so I can pump water from a nearby source without well having a glass of water and fish or having to bother you to much" William replied

"Electricity?" Twilight looked at William

"Right most things here work on magic uhm.... I could explain it in detail later since I do not know how technological far you ponies are" he replied

"Oh how interesting an information exchange a hole new outlook on existence wait till I report this to the princesses" she said happily

William just laughed and the happy ,hyper Twilight

"Now you stay and rest well I'll have to go home and take care of some animals , can some pony stay here to keep an eye on him?" Fluttershy asked

"Sorry Darling I have a lot of work to do" Rarity replied

"I need to take care of spike and need to reorganise the library and also prepare a letter to the princesses " Twilight said as her ears went backwards out of regret

"I can't stay I only have weather duty in two days but Scoots and I were going to hang out "Rd replied sadly

" Uhm if you want she can come as well I don't mind extra company and well I might know a few things to keep her entertained , I mean not because I'm feeling bucking awful right now that I'd want to come between you having fun with a friend"William replied

"But you aren't feeling well you need to rest" fluttershy said

"I can handle a manticore , so I think I can handle a little filly and Rainbow Dash also don't worry" he replied

Fluttershy smiled but looked a bit confused as to how William knew who was ment with scoots

"That's very kind of you darling most stallions wouldn't like another their foal in their house at all" Rarity replied

"Well I'm no pony but I think I get what you're getting at instincts right?" William replied

"I need to add this to my notes since most stallions don't really attach well to other their foals even if adopted I mean if it's a friend of their own foal they well aren't so instinctive but it's good to hear not all stallions are like that , well not that most stallions can do much considering their" Twilight got interrupted by William

"Just don't tell me right now and well maybe treat me like I am and not according to your status quo since I'm not from around here remember" William said

"Darling we will try our best but we can't help our upbringing" Rarity replied

William smiled "I know and Rainbow the guest room you'll be staying in is there" William pointed to the hallway "7th door to the right"

"Awesome , scoots can meet a though stallion ,just don't try anything buster" Rd said looking at William

"Don't worry ,I'm not like that I just don't wanna be a bother and I'd rather not come in between you and your friend so I thought why not turn it into something nice for the kiddo" he said smiling

"Well we have to go girls and Rainbow don't go to far we don't know how tough William is as a stallion" Twilight replied looking at Rainbow Dash

"Don't you worry Twi , I won't make him have an episode" she replied

"Episode?" William asked

"It's nothing Darling , you rest up first and I'm sure Twilight will explain it later" Rarity replied

"Yes I will as for water ,Rainbow could you maybe get him a water cloud for now until well the things he asked for are made so we can see what he planned I'm rather interested what this stallion is going to do but of course We'd have a mare supervising him" Twilight said

William sighs "mare supervision well I guess that's something I'll have to get used to" he said annoyed

"We are sorry darling its only for your wellbeing" Rarity replied

"It's... Just to make sure you're safe , I'd rather not see you hurt since you already went through a lot" Fluttershy said kindly before giving William a hug

I'm getting hugged by my favorite pony and my third favourite is staying with me i feel well partly lucky since well somethings are off he thought

"Alright later William" Twilight said

"Later Twilight" William said smiling

"Later Darling and oh I must see your clothing next time or maybe even get your measurement's I already got a idea for a beautiful attire for you" Rarity said in her ladylike voice(idk what to call it)

"Well I'd love to see what you can come up with but I got no pony currency" he replied

"No worry darling, it will be a gift" she replied smiling

"Aah a generous and kind Ladylike Mare who isn't stuck up , I must say it's a pleasant change compared to some of my kind" William replied

"Uhm ... I'll go to I need to take care of some animals , don't strain yourself to much please and rest" Fluttershy said in her soft caring voice

"Don't worry Flutters , I know my limits and I'll take it easy" he replied

After that the 3 mares left

"So what are you going to do now?" Rd asked

"A little rest I mean, the magic does make me feel like I've been stampeded over by a bunch of Buffalo's" he said jokingly

"Alright I'll just be chilling here" she replied a bit bored

"Hey if you need to get something for your entertainment or if you want me to keep you Busy I could well get something" he replied

"Nah you probably have a lot of egg head stuff anyway" Rd replied

"Hmm I got some comics up in the attic that I used to read" he replied

"Comics are they awesome ones like Daring Doo" she said hyper

"Looks like the cool Pegasus has a egghead side too" William said smirking

"Hey not my fault it's so awesome you should read a Daring Doo comic" she replied in a slightly embarrassed manner

"Hmm I have some Indiana Jones comics that could keep you Busy and you can have the others as well since I can read them on well something else" he replied causing Rainbow to fly up in happiness rushing to the attic and to grab multiple boxes of comic's down do fast William had no time to respond

William laughs "have fun , I'm hitting the hay if you need food or drinks they are in the fridge " he pointed at the fridge

"Won't it be hot in there since you know no magic?" Rd asked

"You'll have to get used to the no magic but good comfort part, goodnight Dashie" William said before going to bed

The midnight visitor and Meeting a Filly

Next day early in the morning

William woke up no longer feeling stiff and without any headache causing him to smile

My second day in Equestria well it's still pretty early he thought as he looked outside and noticed it was still dark

He smiles as he leaves his bedroom still in his PJ's which were a dark blue with many Stars on them as he headed out his bedroom he noticed the guest bedroom Rainbow was in was wide open and noticed the blue Pegasus sleeping with a Indiana Jones comic on her face and no blankets covering her this caused William to giggle

William stepped to the guest room and cleaned up the comic's his guest left around but made sure the one that was on her face was still on the same page on the night stand next to her bed before tucking her in.

Cute he thought as he looked at her before heading out of the room to grab a folding chair and his machete.

He noticed the Pegasus did leave a little mess after reading a lot of the comic's in the living room as well and just smiled as he cleaned it up.

After cleaning up William headed outside and unfolded his chair and gazed at the beautiful night sky "It really is beautiful the Vivid stars the clear sky and the moon , no pollution or clouds. Luna really makes beautiful art" he said thinking out loud unbeknownst to him someone was listening

"You really think its beautiful?" A female voice that William didn't recognize said in a mix of happiness and bewilderment

"I do , want to watch it with me a beautiful sight like this should be enjoyed with others and I well rather not talk to some pony I can't see" he replied kindly

"Are you sure , I mean I heard you're a weird stallion and most ponies don't like my kind since we look different" the unknown female replied

"Well I'm not even a pony so I don't think that applies to me and well if someone.. Sorry somepony can admire the same beauty that most take for granted or can't see, they can't be bad in my book" he replied smiling as he looked at the night sky admiring it

The unknown mare came out of the shadows and flew towards William , William turned his head and smiled as he notices who he was talking too.

A beautiful anthro mare with grey fur ,fangs, beautiful batlike wings and a armor with a light purple , blue and dark purple scheme that looked like a roman armor with a crescent moon on the chest landed next to William

"I'm sorry if I scare you" the mare replied

"No you look good I've never seen a vamp pony before and you aren't scary at all" William responded smiling at her

"You really are a weird stallion most ponies are scared of our appearance even some mares" she replied in a slightly sad sounding tone

Scared why? He thought "Well I don't find you scary one bit , from my perspective ponies are cute and you are adorable too" he replied smiling

The Lunar Guard pony blushed and looked surprised then looked away from William

"Did I say something wrong again , I swear I'm going to need ask Twilight for a book on pony culture" he said worried

"No no it's just when Luna said to keep an eye on a strange stallion she met in while walking the dreamscape I didn't expect this , don't worry you said nothing wrong it was nice to hear" the Lunar guard said blushing as she sat near William wrapping her wing around him as he started to shiver slightly

"Thank you , sorry I have no fur so the hole sitting outside at night time isn't normal for me , you said Luna send you I hope I didn't offend the princess" he said looking at the Lunar guard

"No she was just worried , her spells were taking a lot of magic when trying to see your dreams and when she cast a spell to look into your memories , she noticed your pain got worse causing you to wake up" the guard replied kindly

"Yeah I've found out magic and me don't mix well, still looking into somepony their memories wow. I must really made her worry then didn't I?" He asked the Lunar guard

"A bit . Your actions and dreams seemed weird to her, it's why i was actually stationed here after the hole dream ordeal I've noticed you made some friends?" She replied

"Well where I'm from they wouldn't be seen as friends after such a small interaction more like acquaintances but i do like their company , Oh where are my manners I'm William Cross a pleasure to meet you miss" He replied

"Oh i'm Ebony Ward , i'm a vamp pony who serves Luna in the Lunar guard as it's First Lieutenant and private guard to Luna" She replied smiling

"Wow important military pony then. I feel flattered but i hope i'm not a boring station and that i didn't cause any inconveniences for you or the princess" He said smiling at Ebony

"Not at all, i mean the reason i was picked by Luna is to check on your well being when i heard how you acted and what you looked like I was a little worried especially when i was.. spying on you and your visitors from yesterday but from what i have seen and heard you don't seem like a bad what did you call yourself again a hueman" she replied

"Human but yeah , I'm not planning to hurt anypony though i will act if i am forced into a unwanted situation and i'm probably not well versed in the local Uhm.. well customs and society " he replied

"And you have a soft spot don't think i didn't notice you hiding all those plushies and other things away" she replied teasingly

"Yeah that was more to prevent an awkward situation" he replied blushing and then continued gazing and the beautiful starlit sky

"You must really like the stars and the sky that it took you aback so much Mister William" she said happily

"No need for the formality but yeah i do enjoy the night sky it's much clearer then back home and so beautiful. Sorry if this is to much to ask but since i'm your station and you probably have reports to Deliver to Luna can you maybe give her my thanks for the night sky she makes Miss Ebony" He asked Ebony

"I'll add it to my reports and if i don't call you mister you don't call me miss got that" she said as she playfully punched William causing him to laugh

"Sorry Ebony , seeing that the moon is going down I guess I won't be able to admire it more" he frowns saddened
"If i only weren't so negatively effected by magic i would have taken out a telescope and stargazed a little"

"Are you purposely admiring the sky or are you literally that entranced by it , Luna has made better ones before" she replied

"Where i'm from its a rare sight to see such a clear sky and so many stars , sorry if it seems weird I just like what Equestria has from sights sure the things that were seen as myth in my world like manticores and talking anthropomorphic equines ,magic and well the rest is a lot to take in but it has a lot of beauty too , i do hope I'll be able to see and learn more about it without ponies thinking I'm a delicate wall flower" he replied

"Delicate for a stallion you're doing better then any mare would expect especially without magic" she replied as she puts her hand on his shoulder

"Well i think considering the possible differences between where I came from and here that isn't much I mean i did get a nasty bite of a timberwolf before well putting an axe through its head and well the manticore was pure luck on my part" he replied

"Manticore pure luck keep saying that we need multiple guard ponies to have a safe expedition through these woods and here is the strange stallion that asserted its dominance over two creatures of the Everfree while being less then their best and calmly having ponies over in a home there . A stallion!! I swear the mares at the castle won't believe it when Princess Luna tells her sister and the other guards" Ebony said with a smile

"Well thank you i well am just being myself , i hope we can meet when you are not on duty maybe a visit with some tea with cookies , hmm do ponies eat baked goods like cookies and pancakes " he replied as he notices the moon went down and the sun coming up

"We do don't worry we do but I'm sure Twillight will want to explain the diet of ponies in detail to you later while researching you , don't be to rough on her she is nosy but not dangerous just tell them when they are to much to handle since your a stallion they'll understand and if they force you give them a good right hook just not to rough since well us mares can't really hit a stallion its not decent" she replied

"Well in my culture it's not decent to hurt a female or a mare so that isn't going to happen still the differences in gender status quo is really mind boggling but I'll have to learn i guess but i won't change who i am" he responded

"Well its been nice William , I'll come visit a time when i'm off duty but its almost 7 am so i have to report to Luna, I'll see you later also be kind to little Scootaloo when she visits , she has it rough enough" she said before flying away

Rough enough what does Ebony mean with that William thought as he went inside to prepare breakfast pancakes

The smell of the breakfast pancakes woke up Rainbow

"What in the hay are you doing out of bed you need to rest and take it calm" Rainbow Dash shouted angrily while she walked in the living room and noticed William in the open kitchen at the other side of the living room.

"What the hay happened to you did you do last night you look different" she said staring at the now perfectly healthy William who had strangely gained some muscle mass

"Uhm different how all i did was sleep? He asked confused

"You arms and legs did you take a training exercise or something or did u take the same stuff Bulk does?" she asked

"Uhm you saw me go to bed seriously i did nothing" he looked at himself and looked surprised "Ok ... i got nothing this is just strange" he replied dumbfounded

"You think?" Rd replied in a snarky tone

"Well I'll just write it of as strange magic or side effects of me coming here not that i mind , now can you go get your little friend, I'd like to meet her and we can talk over breakfast" he said looking at rainbow dash

"Wait you actually want her here i thought you just said that yesterday to make the other's feel happy" Rd replied confused

"Awe come on what sort of person or pony comes in between friends also i like kids and everypony likes pancakes or so i hope" he replied

"Yeah but what is that bottle of dark brown blackish goo on the table?" Rd asked

"Maple syrup , what ponies don't have it wait don't tell me ponies just get sugar out of sugar cane cause that's rather limited for a source of sweeteners and not to mention probably expensive" he stated

"Yeah we do everypony does. Wait you're telling me that that brownish goo tastes sweet?" Rd asked

"Yep , though if you want sugar on your pancakes i can take out the sugars still thanks to what you said i found a way to make money if i see any other differences between our cultures technology wise or method of harvest wise for luxurious products i can make myself rich " he smiled

"Yeah uhm you could well i'm off to get Scoots , you sure you want her here" Rd asked

"Well she is your friend and i see you as my friend even though you tried to forcibly take me out my home so i see no trouble with it, you can show her the comics or do tricks outside the house or well just talk or I could show her toys from my world" he replied

"Alright I'll be back soon don't get into any weird trouble" she said laughing before flying away

William continued making pancakes and took some orange juice out of the fridge for Scoots and then started to prepare coffee for himself and Rainbow if she wanted any.

As William is done preparing breakfast he hears some voices outside

"Are you sure this is ok Rainbow from what you said he sounds like a crazy pony and you know how some stallions act to foals that aren't their own" a young female voice said outside

"Don't you worry Squirt , he isn't even a pony and he is cool sure a little marelike in the way he acts but he is a cool whatever he is i forgot the name" Rd replied

marelike, Well there goes my masculinity He thought

"I'm not sure Rainbow , i mean what if he asks about my wings or my blank flank" Scoots said worrying

William couldn't take the worrying of the filly anymore and stepped outside "Don't worry Little one Humans don't get cutie marks as for your wings well you still need to grow" he said as he stepped outside and ruffled the Little orange pegasus her mane

Rd looks at William with a suprise

"What i could hear you two from inside and it breaks my heart to see a little filly worry about things that honestly don't matter" he said as smiles at Scootaloo who stepped a bit back because of William his well teeth but William just looks at her "Listen Scootaloo , i don't care what ponies look like if they are different or not what matters to me what's right here" he said pointing at where his heart is. This made the young Scootaloo seem less nervous as she stepped closer to William "And besides your still a young filly you still have to grow" he smiled at her "Now lets get inside i hope you like orange juice and pancakes" he said smiling before heading back inside his house

"I love pancakes" Scootaloo said happily rushing in like a fast orange blur on her scooter causing William just to laugh

"Aah kids no matter the universe they still are bundles of joy" William said smiling

"You're good with foals" Rd replied as she came in

"Not really good for my species standards but they do bring happiness and a smile on my face" he replied to Rd

Scootaloo rushed to the breakfast table "What is that dark brown stuff in the bottle " scoots asked

"Why don't u try it normally i'd say put it on the pancakes but just take a little drip of it, i know you'll like it" William replied as Scoots nervously took a little bit of maple syrup she smiles

"Its so sweet , like very sugary but also different" Scoots said smiling

"Happy you like it little one, i was planing to try and make some more later on as a job since it doesn't use sugarcane but first lets eat" he replied to the little filly smiling as he served her some pancakes and a glass of orange juice and then looked at RD
"Rainbow do you want some coffee?" he asked her

Rd looked confused at William "I'd like some but not like stallions drink it."

"Uhm how do stallions drink it i drink mine black?" He asked getting a confused look from RD and Scoots

"Just black is fine" Rd replied

"Are you sure he is a stallion Dash he acts like a mare?" Scoots asked RD

William booped the Orange pegasus "I'm no mare or a stallion , i'm a man a human male" he said ruffling through scoot her mane

"Well you do act like a mare , i mean you swear like a mare , build things like a mare , fight though stallions after rigorous training in the guard do that too but well the only stallion like part from what I've seen is cleaning, cooking and being good with Scoots" Rd replied

"Thank you there goes my masculinity" he replied jokingly to Rd

"Well he might be a strange stallion but he is nice , so RD what are we going to do today?" Scootaloo asked full of anticipation

"Well i gotta keep an eye on the strange stallion so i don't know what we can do, sorry Scoots "Rd replied slightly sad

"I don't wanna do knitting or boring Stallion Things" Scootaloo said annoyed

"Well neither do I" William replied
"Hmm but I'd probably get in trouble with Flutters if i did anything to extreme and this place has less magic which is why i probably feel good" William is thinking then smiles looking at Scootaloo and Rd "You seem the speed enjoying type right little scoots" he said smiling at Scootaloo

"Hey don't do anything crazy Fluttershy told me to take care of you and for you to keep it easy" RD objected

"Oh i'll be sitting on my butt don't you worry and a nice picnic is seen as Stallion thing right" He smirked

"What are you planning what does a Picnic and speed have to do with each other, i mean whats fast for you is probably slow for us anyway" Rd replied

"Ready to eat those words Dash" William smiled

"I don't get what the crazy stallion is thinking off" Scoots said confused

"Oh you will both see after breakfast how about a little roadtrip" he smirked

"But you just said this place has less magic and more magic could cause issues" RD replied

"True but everything that came with me is like a sponge for magic and has low magic so I've already got that covered but its a surprise" he smirks at his reply and continues eating

A metal beast and a picnic gone wrong

After the pleasant breakfast

"So whats the surprise , i mean i gotta look out for you and Fluttershy and Twillight both want you to remain safe and calm which for a stallion isn't an issue for you well i think differently? Rainbow Dash asked

"Does the kiddo like speed and do you know any high mountains or nice places for a picnic distance ain't a problem?" William asked

"Don't answer my question with a question , but yeah in the San Palomino Desert but that's at the edge of Equestria it would take days on hoof" She replied

"Oh but we aren't going on hoof let's prepare our snack and picnic for the road" he replied

"Now i know this stallion is crazy , we'd need a camping kit and a lot of food for the trip" Scoots replied only causing William to Laugh

"What's so funny?" Rd asked

"How fast are magical ponies on hoof?" He asked with a big smirk

"Uhm trotting around 8-10 MPH , Galloping around 40 a 50 MPH for the general athletic pony" Rd replied confused at the question

"Oh ok then i'm not worried at all" He replied smirking "So why don't you two get snacks and things for the picnic maybe some friends to come along if you really want or it could just be the three of us" he said smiling

"Wait you're telling me you can go faster on those strange hooves you walk on"Rd replied a bit surprised

"Me oh dear god no but what we are going to travel with surely can" he replied

"Hey the train to canterlot can only go 60 mph so don't you start joking buster" RD replied

"I'm not joking honestly but i won't ruin the surprise or the speed limit" he replied smiling

"You got something that can go faster then a train awesome" Scoots replied

"Not just faster it doesn't need tracks and can go on dirt roads or off roads through mud and more and on hills it can also pull a lot of weight but well that isn't important" he replied smiling at the little Filly

"That sounds Awesome!!" Scoots replied

"It also sounds very dangerous" Rd replied

"Don't worry Dash it's safe now why don't the two of you get ready and maybe invite others to get along " William said smiling

"What trying to show off?" Rd asked

"Not really just thought little Scoots might want friends along and well if Twi and Flutters are so worried they can't say they weren't invited" he replied smirking

"Wait I can bring friends?" Scoots asked

"Sure why not the more the merrier" William said smiling

"Though I only have space for about 5 ponies otherwise somepony would have to sit somewhere less safe and I don't really like that idea" William replied

"You worried about ponies you don't know?" Rd asked

"Well of course , I'm worried about others their wellbeing. And well if any pony would get hurt because of my actions I'd never forgive myself and I don't want princess sunbut to have a reason to try and banish me or send me home" he replied

"You don't wanna go home?" Rd asked confused

"Why wouldn't you wanna go home Mister ?" Scoots asked innocently

"I'll tell why later but in my point of view this place is a fairy tale much better then where I'm from" he responded to Scoots forcing a smile as he went through her mane

Rd noticed the forced smile and looked at Scoots "Let's go Scoots we gotta prepare a picnic for on the go" Rd replied before dashing out of the house with Scootaloo

William started preparing food for the picnic for himself while deep in thought

After a while of preparing

"Are you insane?" Twillight shouted as she walked inside William his house

"I'm in the garage Twillight" he shouted in response

Twillight walked to William his garage

"Are you insane going out of your area with less magic we don't know what effects it might have on you , I mean you saw the effects to your body already in small amounts" Twillight replied

"I just want to see Equestria, I'm sorry if I make you worry but I can't just stay cooped up" he replied in a depressed tone

"Is something wrong?" She asked "You weren't like this yesterday"

William looks up to Twillight "it's nothing ,just thinking of things" he replied

"It doesn't seem like nothing, you can tell me what's wrong That's what friends are for"Twillight answered worried

"It's just that that worries me. I don't wanna go back, honestly I'm scared I might be forced to go back" he replied with a few tears in his eyes

"Why would you not want to go home , you have such beautiful things and knowledge where you are from?" She asked while drying William his tears

"It's well ... Twillight , my kind isn't used to such major amounts of kindness or magic or even becoming friends so quickly , I'm going to hate myself for this but this place Equestria it's well so much better , you're probably thinking I haven't much yet and in a way it's true but for example where I'm from people not ponies but people aren't that caring we've caused a lot of harm even in our own lives , hell I've hurt people through my live as well so I'm the last person to deserve being here but imagine a world where most only look out for themselves and a species even without magic is capable of great harm and destruction even without aiming to do so cause honestly our world it's climate is irreversibly bucked and its not that humans can't so good or don't do good we've done much good but if you were to compare our history with Equestrian history well you'd be disgusted and be troubled as well and probably hearing this makes you worried if I'm a threat to pony kind I'm sure Celestia would be , what I'm trying to say is I wanna stay I don't wanna go back even if I could and maybe I could prevent the same mistakes humanity made here ,it's not like I had a bad life for human standards at all but I just want to stay" he replied in a sad tone while he was looking down

"I didn't expect that so you're scared of having to go back , I can't imagine why?" Twillight looked at William

"I hope you never do and as I said I didn't have a bad life for a human, but well the kindness that you ponies share and the natural beauty is almost all but lost where I come from and That's not counting well my species itself but let's just drop it alright all I want is a pleasant trip with Dash , Scoots and whoever wants to come along enjoying Equestria and the kind inhabitants to the fullest even if some worry about me being a Male too much" he replied looking at Twillight

"I.. Think I understand making a new start or enjoying Equestria to its fullest aren't you?" Twillight asked

"Well I hope too" he replied looking at her a bit teary eyed but he wipes them away

"Well I still can't let you go out of your safe home considering the difference in ambient magic" She replied

"Can you cast a spell on my car?" he asked

"Why would you want that?" Twillight asked

"To test a theory if my stuff also drain magic like I do my car should be a safe enough for me to travel in" he replied

Twillight noded and tried to levitate the car but it seeped up the magic like a sponge

"Twi, can we act like we didn't have this conversation, I wouldn't wanna ruin the mood more" William asked

"Of course , so you're really planing on going out in that metal box but how is it going to move , I mean it looks like a cart but it has no harness for any pony to pull it" Twillight asked causing William to smile

"I'll show you" he replied before driving the car out of his garage

Twillight jumps at the noise it makes and slowly follows "It really sounds intimidating is it safe?" Twillight asked William who had stepped out the car and put on his house it's security causing metal plates to slide in front of the doors and windows

"It is don't worry Twi" he replied before getting back in the car "Are you going to join me I'll need somepony to guide me where Rd and scoots are getting lectured are argued with considering they are a bit late" he replied smiling at Twillight

"Oh yeah, Applejack and Fluttershy are arguing with Dash and scoots near sweet Apple acres , Fluttershy got extremely worried when Dash said her about your planned trip" Twillight replied while getting in the car and closing the door

"Well point to the direction of sweet Apple acres?" William replied

Twillight pointed towards the direction of sweet Apple acres "it's a way through the forest and there are many trees and other things in the.." Twillight got interrupted By William giving gas like a maniac driving towards sweet Apple acres his car engine roaring like a beast as he drove over Timberwolves and smaller trees on his way to his destination

Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres

"What made y'all think that a road trip with a sick stallion be a good idea?" Aj asked Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo in a lecturing tone

"Yes , he was very sick yesterday and he can hardly stand any magic he could get hurt" Fluttershy said in a worrying tone

"Not to forget y'all are planning to go out with a weird stallion in something y'all don't know anything about" AJ replied

"Awe come on Aj, Scoots said he wasn't a bad stallion why can't we go" Applebloom whined

"Yeah and rarity said he had manners even if he acts weird for a stallion maybe we can get our cutie marks as alien researchers" Sweetie Belle replied

AppleJack was still trying to talk Rd and the Crusader's out of the picnic and trip but then a scary roaring unknown sound and the sounds of wood cracking could be heard from the Everfree

"What in tarnation?!!" Aj replied in shock as what seems like a black metal cart with some twigs on it drove out of the Everfree the path it blazed through the Everfree clear behind it then William and Twillight stepped out of it but William stayed near his car

"That looks so awesome" Rd shouted in surprise

"Surprise" William said

"What in tarnation is that metal cart" Aj asked looking suspiciously at William and his car

"Uhm my Car or well truck really , it can go 300 km/h which is 186,5 mp/h , it's well the ride for the picnic" William replied

The cutie mark crusader's looked in awe at the metal beast as they dubbed it

"No" the normally soft and kind Pegasus shouted at William

"You aren't going to put yourself in danger by leaving your house , you can't just go into a strange environment you aren't used to we all saw how small amounts of magic effected you so you're turning it around mister before you get sick again" Fluttershy said in a assertive and worried tone

"Actually it absorbs magic like the other stuff he came with he should be safe near it" Twillight replied as she stepped towards Fluttershy

"You heard Twillight it's safe for me" William replied with a smirk

"I didn't say that I only said near it you're safe and I still don't agree you going on a trip" Twillight replied

"Well I'll be careful Twi just let us have some fun, I know the risks don't worry" William replied before Aj walked up to him

"Yes Applejack?" William asked

"How did ya know my name partner? With big Mac on the field you could've thought that was his name partner?" Aj asked looking suspiciously at William

"Cut him some slack Aj he isn't going to do anything wrong" Fluttershy replied

No use lying to apple Jack she is the element of honesty well shit William thought as he looks to Aj and sighs "Aj the way I know things would be seen as weird or strange all I want to tell you is that I mean no harm to you or the other ponies , well unless they try to force me into things that I don't wanna do and you probably worry about the little fillies coming along with a strange creature and Rainbow so I'll put it bluntly honest , I won't harm them honestly if something was to go wrong I'd do anything I can to ensure their safety" he replied honestly

"Y'are a strange critter and stallion. You know things ye think ye better not explain but Fluttershy, Twillight ,Rarity ,Scootaloo and Rainbow see ye as a friend I hope ye be explaining it later but ye were honest so I trust ye, my name is Apple Jack partner but ye already knew that" Aj replied smiling

"Nice to meet you Aj , I'm William" William replied laughing

"I'm Applebloom , I'm Apple Jack her little sister and that there is Sweetie Belle" Applebloom said as she pointed to Sweetie Belle

William laughs at the introduction and took some skittles out of his pocket "Nice to meet you Kiddo's do you want some candy" William said smiling as he held out the bag of skittles

Scoots took the bag smiling and shared with the rest of the crusader's then Sweetie Belle stepped to William

"If you know things you normally shouldn't do you know about our cutie marks?" Sweetie Belle asked as all the crusader's looked at William with puppy eyes

Not the cute puppy eyes, I can't take it , no I can't tell them William thought then looked at the rest with a help me face causing them just to laugh

"I don't know little ones sorry" he lied replying in a comforting voice but Apple Jack noticed the lie and called William aside with the excuse of Apple's for the trip as he stepped away from his car he did get very stiff again and even had small pains but he ignored them

"Why did ya lie to the fillies William?" Aj asked with an angry face since she couldn't stand lies luckily the others and the crusader's were inspecting William his car

"Aj ,if I tell them what I do know, I'll effect it I might even change events more then I have and honestly I wanna see the joy on their face when they find it on their own sorry for lying but for something's I will have to just to keep things in well check , I don't like lying to them but in this case it's needed" he replied looking down

"Can you tell me partner , one of em is ma little sister?" Aj asked her tone much kinder and understanding now

"Sorry Aj but I can't also uhm between you and me can you keep Pinkie at bay for a while I'm not ready for well you know what she is like" he replied

"Alright partner you better only be lying for good things partner, I might not like it but ya have a good reason as for Pinkie you can count on me partner I understand if a stallion needs his well time to adjust" Aj replied with a tip of her hat but as they walked back to William his car one familiar face with two unfamiliar faces trotted towards William

William smiled as he noticed Ebony and two mares he didn't know one of them a white unicorn with a light pink mane stepped to William while the dark blue Pegasus stayed near Ebony talking with her and giggling

"Hello I'm Sol Flare , I heard from Ebony you are a new resident in Equestria it's a pleasure to meet you since you don't have a well herd mother's and we wanted to know more about you we would like to get to know you" the Unicorn said smiling holding out her hand

Sol flare, as in acronym's and words connected to the sun hmm strange William thought then shook Sol her hand "I'm William and I'm a human , a pleasure to meet you. I thought Ebony said my existence was being kept under wraps unless" William looked at Twillight this caused Sol , Ebony and the dark blue Pegasus to laugh

"I might have mentioned you in a letter to the princess" Twillight said nervously not knowing how William would respond but William just pat her head

"It's True only a few know of your existence but I think after your little trip and display here the fillies won't be able to keep it secret" Sol replied

"Well i can't get mad at the Kiddo's , I mean children bring joy to life be they you're own or not" he said smiling as the night sky blue Pegasus approached him

"Hi I'm nightlight" the dark blue Pegasus said nervously

Ok this can't be coincidence can it I mean they both have names relating to the sun and moon I swear this is , well a good development , I mean no armed guard squad is good I hope William thought "Nice to meet you Night , I guess you like star gassing or make lights for the little fillies to keep them from being scared at night which from my point of view is an irrelevant fear"

Nightlight smiles and laughs "Something like that thou .. I mean you enjoy the night to according to Ebony" nightlight said getting a nervous look from Celestia

thou?! Oh Luna hasn't gotten used to speaking to others I better defuse this situation oh, I have an idea William thought "Thou aret one who enjoys Roleplaying games aren't thou what other reason would thou have to speak in such old manner" William said smiling to nightlight

Nightlight smiled then Sol interrupted

"Yes , my sister does enjoy such games and she feels less nervous talking when talking like that I hope you don't mind?" Sol asked hoping it would work

William steps to Nightlight "if it calms thine issues then how can we not deny thour beautiful maiden from thine comfort , if thine would like to accompany us in a outdoor feast both thine presence would be welcome" William said looking at Sol and Nightlight (we all know who they are in disguise)

Nightlight blushed

Sol laughs seeing her sister smile and blush "Art thou trying to court our sister?"

That comment made William blush like a tomato "Thou art mistaken thine social conduct is different of my own if I desired to court her. I'd be resiting poetry or proving myself to woe her" William replied embarrassed

Nightlight hides her embarrassed face because of the subject of conversation

Sol just laughs and replies "Oh like the stallions of old it seems ,very well we will treat you as such and we'd both love to come along in your metal cart for a picnic" Sol replied in a kind motherly voice trying to sooth the embarrassing situation

"With 4 mares I think it would be safe for you to go on a trip" Twillight replied

"I'm sorry William I won't be able to go I Still have a lot of duties to attend to still good going Casanova" Ebony replied before flying off

After more food was taken along for the picnic Sol , Rd ,nightlight and the cutie mark crusader's went into William his car as they drove to the San Palomino Desert as he put on a song on the radio (the song : https://youtu.be/yVjjuOqMQIw yeah he ain't going to put on Brony music Yet)

William sang along with the music , the radio and music getting the attention of everypony in the car as they sing along as they drive through Equestria at high speeds passing some pony pulled cars causing them a little fright ,off road as well over rough terrain while everypony tried to sing along with different songs William put on.

Later at San Palomino Desert

Everypony seemed happy to have arrived and got out of the car which was parked near the canterlot river that flowed through the desert

"That was awesome we drove over rough mountains and rocks so fast" Scootaloo shouted happily

"Happy you liked it most kids or well foals of my kind would find a long trip boring"William replied with a nervous smile as he took out the picnic essentials out of the trunk

"Yeah but the cider will probably be hot in this weather and taste bad" Rd complained

"Dash I put that in a fridge in the car so don't worry even put the chocolate covered cupcakes in there too so it isn't molten and sticky" William replied

"Thou has a way to keep thine food well in thine transport why?" Nightlight asked

"Well back where I'm from I on the road sometimes because of certain projects for work meeting employers and well meeting's run out a lot so I made sure my food is always like I like it and its also good for vacations or trips to special events" William replied smiling

Applebloom rushed to the river and jumped in causing everypony to laugh and causing her friends to join her

"Well I didn't think of that I hope Sol Here has a spell to dry of the kiddos later" William said smiling

William helped set up a picnic spot putting down a big cloth to lay on and a umbrella against the sun he had to step back near his car his body starting to hurt because of the high amount of ambient magic

"Are you alright?" Rd asked William

"Just give me a moment" William responded as Sol went to them while Nightlight was enjoying the food brought to the picnic

"You're world must be wonderful having such contraptions , enjoying a cold cider on such a hot location and such rapid transport , you must be aching to return" Sol replied to William

"Uhm honestly I find Equestria better, but I'd rather not talk about that I mean don't wanna spoil the fun for everypony with a foul mood of me thinking about it" he replied causing the white unicorn to frown

William went in the car since the pain of the ambient magic caused his muscles to go stiff and his head to hurt again

"William!! Are you OK?" Rd asked worried

"Don't worry I'll look after our friend why don't you enjoy some time with the fillies" Sol replied in a kind motherly tone

"Yeah just have fun dash don't worry maybe go swim with the fillies" William replied smiling

"Alright but if you can't handle it we're going straight home" Rd answered worried before heading to the fillies

"You care for their happiness don't you?" Sol asked William

"Yeah as long as I see a smile on their faces I'm happy no matter the side effects of ambient magic" he replied

"You said before you didn't want to make them frown and ruin the mood when I brought up your home was it that bad you don't wanna return" Sol asked like a worried mother

"Not bad just well it's hard to compare Equestria to my home , I just find ponies more excepting and kinder then my own race and Equestria is in better shape then where I come from honestly , I'm sacred being forced to return . I mean I can see it happening my species ain't the well let's just say we don't have such a good history sure we aren't completely bad but we aren't entirely good either , we've made mistakes ,many mistakes I hope I can prevent the ponies from making the same" William said laughing

Sol looked in shock at William

"Who knows I might prevent the same mistakes repeating themselves and if I can't do that I can use the knowledge of my world here to make bits to sustain myself if my body gets used to magic that is" William said as he moved a bit wincing in pain

"Are you sure about that I mean surely not one member of a race has all their knowledge even if some will help you can't prevent the repetition of all your kind's its mistakes and well maybe they'd see you as a threat if you tell them of some of your kind it's mistakes" Sol replied

"Well I always had a good memory but since one night and a really strange dream where Luna visited me in, well I think her dream magic and well her attempt of reading my mind made magic flow directly in my brain. It felt like I was ran over by a stampede of Buffalo's but my memory seems to be better because of it" he replied smiling

"So magic is causing your body to adapt and change that it effects you in positive ways so rapidly shows your species once had magic in their world" Sol replied

"Oh dear god I hope not, my species already bucked up so much without it , well the dream I had was an accurate description of what would happen if my kind had it , I mean we tend to be violent towards each other at times and still are though not all but it makes me fear for the well being of many" he replied

"Well it's just theoretical no need to worry as for the pain that is written on your face maybe somepony thought the same as you and acted upon the threat your kind posed , no offense to you since you're actually being rather descriptive and show the honest weight of your species history and theoretical threat and seem to be one of the kind or good one's you've described" Sol said in a comforting tone

"I wouldn't call me that since you haven't seen me angry" he said before being interrupted by a scream outside William rushed out not thinking as he noticed a dragon near the river and the cmc"

"This is my Feeding grounds you ponies better scram" the dragon roared

"You're only a big bully so stop scaring my friend's and take on somepony who can defend themselves" Rd responded cocky as she stood between the cmc and the dragon

"What is going on?" William asked as he rushed to them

The dragon eyes were fixated upon William "the scourge of our past , the killer of many of our kind" the dragon roared towards William as it swiped its claws towards him in anger causing William to be send flying hitting his car breaking his arm

"Fuck!!" William shouted in pain

"Hey stop hurting my friend , you think you're pretty though Harming a stallion" Rd shouted but got swept aside by the old black scaled dragon

"You protect one of those accursed beings then you will pay" the dragon roared

"I got no bucking idea of what you're talking about but harming ponies who did nothing wrong is just foul in my eyes" William replied with spite and anger in his eyes

"Those who protect you're kind who has slaughtered many of us shall not be given anything less then treatment as foul as who they protect" the dragon shouted as it went towards Rd to end her since she could be seen as a threat but because Scootaloo was in the way it slapped Scootaloo aside

William was angered at the dragons action both Sol and nightlight stood ready to attack the dragon but both them and Sweetie Belle looked at William as they felt something strange in the ambient magic

And sorry for the cliffhanger but It deserves a separate chapter it will be a little bit of adventure and well you can all theorize why the old dragon hates humans :p or theorise what's going on

A heated past and a unexpected knowledge

A unknown voice rings through William his head "I see you aren't going to stand down are you... well I guess no other choice then use the magic we already stored but a bit of advice William this will bite you back"

William looked confused "OK now I'm hearing voices too , well guess the girls were right calling me mad stallion, Luna Celestia can you drop the disguises and maybe help teach this lizard some manners" he said irritated as he stepped towards the dragon

Sol and nightlight look at William in shock before breaking The simple transmog spell turning back into the princesses

Rd looks at them in shock "Wait! The princesses were along in disguise!"

William laughs " Yeah their names were a dead giveaway ,so I thought well maybe they wanna be treated like normal ponies" William replied only getting a stare from Celestia

"How long did thou knowest and how?" Luna asked William while she lifted up the Dragon which should be light compared the moon

"Uhm I had a hunch at the start but when Tia started attacking the baked goods well let's just say thour sister her appetite and desire for pastry is a multiversial fact" William said jokingly

"They did get thou there sister" Luna said laughing at Celestia

William stepped to Rd and scoots his hand Started glowing as he touched their wounds they started to heal but William his body hurts and cracks as it isn't used to magic

"You foul scourge fight me fair without the protection of the rulers of this land" The dragon roared

"I do not like when a wild being attack my little ponies and their new friends" Celestia said angrily looking at the dragon her horn starting to glow but William stepped in between them

"Your Highness or do I just say Celestia or Tia uhm or Sol ...sorry I'm not used to talking to royalty or if I should call you royalty since the Everfree has probably been devoid of ponies living there for so long but back to the point ,I wanna hear what my people did I'm sure this dragon has a good reason to hate my kind so could you let it go so it can explain it action's" William said looking at Tia

"They did threaten my sister , my subject life and my life. As for addressing me Celestia or Tia will do it is pleasant not being addressed as royalty for once" Celestia replied

Luna let the dragon go causing the dragon to look at William who stepped closer earning a snarl and a heavy hit which broke William his arm only for it to burst in flames and heal

"Why did you try and defend me scourge is your act of amnesia ,innocence and harming my pride not bad enough?" The dragon asked

"I honestly don't know what happened between our kind honestly i doubt it ever happened since all my kind has are folklore and legends that and my world doesn't have magic and I do believe if they had it most would be what you described and I'm sorry if that is what happened to you" William said bowing his head to the old black dragon causing her to laugh

"So you honestly do not know child and you know enough of your kind to know how monstrous they are even without magic , hmm proof to me you aren't tricking me young one" the old dragon replied

"How would I proof that , I'm literally in the dark here?" William asked confused

"Hmm let your mind open and look in my eyes, the eyes are the gateway of your kind their soul , if you mean no harm and are honest about your words you shouldn't mind me seeing your very essence" The Dragon replied

"Thou art foul soul magic falls under the dark arts like necromancy and many other thou would let the body of somepony who cannot handle magic go through such an ordeal" Luna said irritated to the dragon

William just sighed "Who labels any power or tool as bad is scared of those who would abuse it but don't see it can be used for good aswell"William replied

"Hmm clever quote child now calm down and focus on your self and meditate , Just know should you not be seen as innocent as you claim I will snuff your soul out from the inside so if you rather fight me and die like a scourge or challenge my believes and possibly survive the choice is yours" The dragon stated

"Can I talk to you when you're inside, i mean context is key and I'd rather not have you judge me for withholding information without the chance that i can explain it to you"William stated

"Hmm fine just hurry up i am starting to prefer burning you to a crisp after you current statement which makes me remember a tragedy caused by your kind"The dragon replies

William nods then focuses on himself meditating then hears a voice in his head again
"Really! I let you use magic and am trying to keep you together while we are so weak and want to let a dragon peer into us" A unkown female voice rang in irritation

It's better this way, uhm can you help i'm new to all of this and i honestly want to prevent any conflict William thought hoping the voice in his head could hear his thoughts

"I will but i still don't trust the dragon , you know they take an opportunity when they see it so i hope you can stay the course your trying to take"The unkown female voice replied then William his eyes just glow no ambient magic fluctations just his eyes glow and his body still partly healing itself with flames coming out of the small cracks caused by magic use before

"Hmm , I see the child isn't scared" the Female dragon said as it looked straight into the glowing eyes of William as it touches William his chest where his heart would be

"This is just crazy why didn't you stop him" RD shouted

"Yes Dear sister why didn't we act" Luna asked Celestia

"I think this course of action is best, if he isn't a threat to us and is kind and wasn't acting it cause he knew who we are Luna then He will be kept alive by the old dragon who might teach them more of his kind and ensure we learn more too if not he will simply be a emotionless husk and cold because of damage to the soul even if we try to safe him" Celestia replied

"That just sounds wrong and over the top" Scootaloo replied "Nopony deserves not to feel anything"

"I agree but during meeting with dragon Diplomats , I had the pleasure of talking to some old Dragons who were close to the end of their long lifespan and they tell stories of beings that chased them from their original homes which were once their allies some still were some gave their existence for the dragons to survive but the species was hardly talked about for all i learned with the few conversations, some dragons even awaited till the very end to abandon their old home but when said dragons came similar signs that your friend has the negative effects on the body because of magic were seen and they'd tell the other ones who already lived on Equis of the foul actions the species still committed" Celestia said looking at scootaloo

"So what if his people were bad , he isn't bad , he is a kind stallion even if he is odd and rough for a stallion"Scootaloo replied

"I hope the same my little pony "Celestia replied

"Wait wait wait, The soft squishy race of that William is part of Scared and killed dragons?"Rd Asked Confused

"More then just Scare them , they have become a source of anger for the old once and a source of fear for those who do not know them and who were told the tales but its better to learn more of the dragons , its at time like this i wish we had access to the old library of the crystal empire" Celestia said looking at Rd

Inside William his soul

"Echo!!! Wow its pretty dark in here except for those strange symbols and lights" William said looking at what seemed like strange symbols covering everything

"Those are seals , Hmm it seems your kinds predecessors did more then just ensure magic in your world was low"The dragon replied

"Seals like locks?" William asked

"I'm here to see what you are like and to judge you on that, not to educate you but yes like locks" The dragon replied as it looked around through William his soul as it could see William memories and thoughts without bias or method of deception as it stops looking at the memories of it playing rpgs and tabletop games then at William his young face reading myths and legends causing the dragon to look confused at William

"What i have hobbies" William replied

The dragons looks further noticing memories of William he wasn't aware of the history lessons in school the huge amount of bad and good in the everyday life of humans. The dragon noticed William did hurt people in his life like any human but also saw kindness in small places helping the elderly and friends and such but it seems to go to an end when William became tired of having it blow in his face people taking advantage of kindness causing William to prefer well a few things as friends and a close fandom to which the dragon had to laugh at first but then noticed what they were fan off and the uncanny similarities of the world he resided in and well his hobbies

"You know things of this world that are uncanny and that have happened already before you came because of that knowledge , you don't want them to know to ensure they remain the same so their futures aren't to heavily affected, that is what you were trying to hide weren't you?"The dragon asked

"Yes" William replied

"I have seen you aren't entirely a scourge but no saint either , you harm those who harm you ,you were kind to those who needed it but stopped when it was taken advantage off' The dragon replied sighing

"Yeah about the time i became a little pessimistic about my own kind but i did find joy in the show and its fandom"William replied

"I saw that , also you spoke truly about us being myth still should i tell your friends of your what your cultured deemed inappropriate sexual attraction to certain characters , though I think both Luna and Rainbow wouldn't like such information" dragon replied

"First judging my soul now trying to destroy my dignity also i could never pick , ugh i wanna die please tell me you are decided to kill me" William said in embarrassment

"While i am done judging , i do have a task for you , see it as a test if you will to prevent the harm of the past either by accident or not as for your attraction to some of the locals , I'll tell you it won't form the same problem as it would in your world though it might take time for you to accept that young one , seeing you are used to monogamy"The dragon Replied laughing a little

" Well at least I'm not dead" William replied before getting hugged by the cmc , Rd and Luna which caused him to smile

"Thou art a idiot for risking thine self" Luna shouted at William in her Royal canterlot voice

"Don't do anything like that again" Rd replied

Scoots and the cmc just looked up at William crying

"Yeesh girls I'm fine still cute to see you worry" William replied laughing

"It seems you do not mean any harm or bear ill intent towards even those who your kind harmed , I'm happy to see such traits and I'd like to formally introduce you later to my subjects" Celestia said smiling in a kind motherly voice at William

"He bears no Ill will that is true but he has more things to do , I'll guide him to some history of his species that he doesnt know of in this very desert since not all of his kind were enemies of dragons some came to Equis as well now, to the point I'll keep your metal steed and friends safe and entertain the fillies while you are gone but you must partake in a journey I'm sure after the natural healing you endured and the choice you made which was a dangerous gamble and to be precise I'm not talking about letting me in your soul young one but you will understand it in due time , now deeper into the desert there is a mountain where a pony has made a observatory , the locals call it Mount Palomino there is a hidden cave leading into ruins of an old one of your kind , I'd advice you traverse it as your trail and learn from what you may find there" the dragon said pointing its claw to show the way

"Wait you first wanna kill him now you want to send him to some ruins" Rd replied

"The young one has to learn first and maybe with the aid of his pony friends he can remove the seals on his soul" the dragon replied but the mentioning of seals on ones soul made both Luna and Celestia look in shock

"Thou art sure such things are in place?" Luna asked the dragon

"Oh I'm sure your Highness but it was probably applied to all of his kind as a precaution , all punished to prevent a repeat of the past" the dragon replied

"Poor stallion punished for" Sweetie Belle got interrupted by William before she could finish her sentence

"Don't call me a poor stallion and if it's true that it's in place , I'd do the same to prevent the harm my kind can cause so don't call me poor because of it , I mean some things are required for the safety of the masses" William replied

"Well there is no way I'll let my friend go into some old ruin all by themselves" Rd said looking at William

"No your not coming Rainbow, I mean I need somepony to keep an eye on the fillies and who can work with a fridge or microwave and I don't want Celestia to eat all the pastries when I come back" William said smiling

Celestia just laughed at the comment of William since its rare for anypony to tease or joke about her like she is a normal pony

"They art right sister , thou does eat a lot of pastries in the castle and we don't knowest where thou puts it" Luna said teasing her big sister

"Well I'm off" William said as he walked looking for mount palomino and the cave the dragon told about

A few hours later

"Well I found the damn mountain but still no bloody entrance or cave" William layed down against the mountain and then fell down a hole rolling through a cave and end up hitting a door but feels pain all over seeing his tumble damaged his clothes and broke a rib or two

"I swear its already hard enough to keep you alive with the ambient magic causing so much damage , you have my powers at your disposal but you don't even use them since you threatened our safety with the dragon" the unknown female voice inside William his head said while William his wounds started to feel hot and their pain started to fade but it caused a major headache for William

Now she talks but still no explanation's William thought irritated as he gets back up and opens the door only to jump at the side seeing he triggered a trap that made metal spikes come out of the ground escaping their hits barely

"Traps ,ugh why traps" William complained as he continues walking onwards care fully

He saw a strange door that seemed to have something written on it in a strange language but it did have statue's around it of skeletons and a skull

"Well I got no fucking clue what it says, nice design of this place though the maid needs to be fired to many damn cobwebs" William said as he stepped in the door and is met by two paths one each has a statue near them one has what seems to be a human mage in a cocky stance and the other seemed a statue of what seems like a medieval peasant and some of the strange language again

"I still can't read the text , ugh ok hmm cocky mage or what seems like a medieval peasant. Hmm well I'll go the peasant path then" William walks on a strange tile triggering a trap that let's a strange green fog fill the hallway and he starts running swearing as he does so

As William runs he trips as he passes through an archway and hears the sound of metal hitting stone above him and notices axes in the archway around his neck height

"Oh shit well talk about lucky" he said laughing as he continued onwards and notices skeletons dotting the hallways some unicorn some Pegasus

"What a shitty place to die ,I hope none of you suffered" William said looking at the skeletons as he felt sadness for the loss of life but then his instincts screamed to step away from them as he did he noticed a faint glow come out of their eye sockets

"You got to destroy them" the female voice inside his head shouted

"No killing them I'd rather evade them" William said out loud

"Fine but this will hurt a lot ,modifying a body that isn't used to magic to be able to grow wings of one's Avatar normally is hard on the body if it can handle magic ,but your being held together by me and I don't want to trigger any more traps in the seals" the voice in William his head said before William fell to the ground in agony as if he was on fire and his flesh cooked from the inside causing him to faint

A unknown period later

William found himself surrounded by the skeletons but they didn't attack or do anything they just pointed at a deep pit with heavy winds gushing around it and a statue of someone with a blind fold

"Great going idiot! Leaving us at their mercy , I preferred our original world there I only could give what you call gut feelings as warnings and strength during life threatening situation's having no hope to mature to a separate physical form but no in the world I can my plan for our safety you can't even hear me clearly and you put us at risk so many times well it's at least better then some of your previous lives" the voice in William his head said before she seemed to fade out

previous lives , avatar I swear she'd just explain me what the hell she is and what all that shit means cause it's confusing William thought as he walked to the giant pit which had a door at the other side

"No way around and a blindfolded statue , ugh seriously do they have to leave the bloody hints I mean , they might as well put the phrase blind faith next to it since it's a Indiana Jones rip off with fantasy elements sprinkled in" William said as he just walked straight forward and he walks on a strange glowing blue aura making him feel more tense"

"Magic why so much freaking magic my body is already screaming in agony" William complained as he continued onwards as he enters what seems like a big hall but nopony was there only a old looking skull that floats, some strange gems and a lot of books

"Ok is this another test cause I have no idea what to do" William sat down near the skull and the gems and jokingly puts the gems in the skull its eye sockets and mouth causing it to glow heavier causing William to back down"

"Jesus Christ! it's a demi lich!" William tries to make more distance between him and the floating skull who turned to William his direction

"Of all the creature's to put my cophoreal body back in a working state after that idiotic unicorn thought to put me stuck like this centuries ago it had to be the one race I didn't want to see and it passed my skeleton guards who sniff out vile beings and probably destroyed by them" a strange echoing female voice said

"Uhm , Hi misses demi lich I didn't kill your skeletons they just showed me to the well deep pit part that seemed partly ripped out of a Indiana Jones movie" William said shaky

"Hmm no strong aura magical, soul seals in place and using the power of it's avatar to remain alive because of a unadapted body heavy discomfort and lack of direct bonds with his avatar. Ooh a forced pathway of magic through a seal caused by ambient magic forcing it's way in" the demi lich said as its skull floated closer to William causing William to crawl back

"Are you going to eat my soul?" William asked scared

"If I desired you dead I would have done so already young one , I thought I'd first let you answer me how you knew of my home and depending on the response, I will either kill you or simply continue researching the others of our kind being plucked of our world" the demi lich spoke in a neutral tone

"Uhm ... about others I... uhm... didn't see any other humans around but .. Well a black giant female dragon told me to come here" William replied nervously

"I did not expect someone who his own natural abilities are sealed in his soul to see the multiversiall transfers of others from our original home , I mean that merchant and others are pulling others from our original home and putting them in many alternative universes but it isn't just for their amusement I mean our kind even sealed generate power that is dangerous and sought after but the ones affected don't know the art of that trade, as for the dragon I hope my old friend is doing well for your sake" the demi lich replied threateningly

"Well she seems well , I honestly do not know what is seen as well for a dragon since well ... I'm not used to fantasy creatures " William got interrupted

"I'm aware my kind , magic and the rest are myth , humanity survived the lack of magic got reintroduced in the food change defeated many predators and become the dominant species again still with its many flaws" the demi lich replied in a neutral tone

"Uhm ...so do you know why the dragon send me here ? Honestly I got no clue what to do here?" William asked nervously

"I owe her a favor, a life debt so she probably wants me to aid you but a drifter doesn't learn a path they forge their own not that you know what the term drifter means, I will give you the tools to do so and damage your seals on your soul but beyond that you must still earn the right to be free of the sins of our kinds past in my eyes but seeing how your avatar is aiding you and my old friend let you here you aren't a bad person" the demi lich replied a bit more hopeful as if seeing something that warms her nonexistent heart

"Thank you , uhm... you mentioned a unicorn that left you in the state I found you in... And since you are a demi lich so a wise caster and knower of magic and you don't seem bad so you probably became one because you don't devour souls then ... Uhm was that unicorn sombra" As William spoke those words he gets levitated by magic and feels as if someone is holding his neck

"How do you know that name?" The demi lich asks angrily filled with spite and venom as if William was an enemy who had caused her a lot of grief

"I... Can't breath .." William replies causing the demi lich to lesser her grip

"Talk now" the demi lich said in a demanding tone the skull floating menacingly above William

"I thought you saw our world then you should know there is a TV show which runs parallel with this universe its events well not just TV show but also some comics too" William replied and then got dropped down by the demi lich

"I am blind to most things in our world only little scraps of information come through or major amounts when one of our kind is pulled out by a merchant or other force" The demi lich said in irritation

"Oh dear well ...uhm if it's any help you were going to help me so... If its any help you can look into my memories just don't abuse the parts about this world and keep it quite please I honestly don't like people in my head or soul it feels strange and well.. I thought your anger came from something private before so I... Won't dwell on it though I wouldn't call a lich my kind since we look so different" William replied

"And you desire nothing for it?" The demi lich asked

"Why your already helping me even if it is for your dragon friend you should get something for it too even if it is something as small as what I offer" he replied with a nervous smile

"Hmm perhaps I won't have to check if the skeletal puppets are faulty now I preferred it if you were unconscious since I'm going to use a spell to reawaken all your memories to get as much information as I can and considering your body its weakness to magic I ask you to trust me with this" the demi lich said

Auriera The Undead judge wants you to trust her with your very being (you both being drifters trusting her fully can put your entire body psychical being and soul at risk. Do you want to allow her free reign ? a mechanical voice echoed through William his head

What is this a video game , still yes let her do what she has too, if she wanted me as lunch I'd already be deadWilliam thought only to faint and awaken a hour later sadly with all his memories the good and the bad ones clear as day with the emotional weight they buried on the time they were made

"You seem to be holding up , I took what you offered but made some minor alterations to your body as I was breaking the seal, I've ensured the flow of magic as it normally should have been inside you not the force through you and carve a path technique your avatar used is in order to make you're adaption to this world will go smoother and you won't rely on ambient magic forever compared to what drifters can do it is nothing but I saw you weren't the type to desire power which is a pleasant change.
Now I have a few gifts for you on your path two books one on the art of magic using ambient magic and it's many applications, a gem that I have already bound to your magical signature so you don't use so much magical energy so its guided and finite like a unicorn its magic and last thing I gift you an answer to a question you didn't ask , a drifter or human from our world it's powers that manifest in them in reflection to the personality and interest of the drifter in question , your strange hobbies of play tales and stories and entertainment you enjoyed caused the voice you heard that sounded unnatural similar to announcements of them but now you'd better be off young one also be wary as your body was made in a place with less magic the effects of magic maybe varied to which I can't predict but seeing how the body still uses the stomach and well the rest for small predictions which your kind calls gut feelings still worked in your world even with low amounts of magic there I can expect at least high efficiency when you are adapted to magic oh and take the alchemical book too so you can maybe recreate many things that require the advanced sciences this world lacks" the demi lich said kindly

"Thank you" William said as he takes his gifts and looks around for an exit

"I'll bring you to the surface , and if you show your worth and don't fall to the sins many of our kind did I might consider being an advisor of sorts to you but for now this is where we part" the demi lich her eye gems glow as William ends up near his car in a flash

"My body still aches from all that bloody magic why couldn't I just end up normally here like with walking and no bloody pain with sore muscles or the annoying wings which are so uncomfortable to lay down on in the sand" William complained

Author's Note

Yeah I know a lot of bloody story side parts and probably
Confusing So here is the simple of it

Avatar:magic spirit that is bound to a drifter their soul as a familiar would be to a mage.
When someone reincarnates the familiar can pick to remain with the original soul that made it restarting the cycle but with their memory in tact

The demi lich her comments meaning behind other humans leaving earth: is a small nod to other fanfics and a sorta of head canon that whatever ensures the humans to leave earth also has a trade off for it mostly bigger then the person themselves realize

As for the adventure part promised in previous chapter author notes I had to move it for story reasons this chapter had major adaptations from the first draft , I hope it isn't too apparent and well if any pony wants to be a proof reader or help editing the story I'd welcome the help :p

Also sorry tia fans that William have comment on pastries but I mean which brony wouldn't even with the possible threat of the oh so old TO THE MOON

Bodily Changes and a spa trip with some education

As William appeared near his car in the desert at the side of the canterlot river all the ponies that came along stared at him but then Rainbow and Scootaloo rushed at him

"Awesome you grew wings , is that normal for humans? Do you know how to fly? Can you walk on clouds like pegasi?" Rainbow dash asked whilst flying near her new friend for a response.

"I honestly don't know and I don't find the wings awesome my clothes are torn I don't know how to move them let alone fly. I don't think this has been considered normal since I grew up in a world where magic is considered the stuff of legends and old pony tales" William replied nervously laughing because of the strange development.

William his answer made Scootaloo seem sad since she can't fly either because of her small wings but here stood William with wings size comparable to the princesses and he didn't admire them which only caused Scoots to pout

As William noticed Scoots pout he wanted to hug her but unexpectedly his right wing pulled her in a hug causing both the princesses , Rd and the cmc to smile which confused William.

"Uhm did I do something weird again?" William asked hoping he didn't break a unspoken law or seemed like a foal fiddler since he'd never want to be compared to that

"No ,my little human friend" Celestia replied in a motherly tone while smiling at William then William feels something in his new wings the little Scoots nussled her face in it causing William his heart to melt

"Thou art good with foals but did thou not say thou didn't know how to move thine wings" Luna replied smiling at the cute display

"Well it was well a ... Uhm instinctive movement honestly, I just saw little Scoots pout and seem sad and I just well. I am going to shut up before I make a bigger fool of myself" William said embarrassed

"Actually you didn't make a fool of yourself, you're acting like a stallion comforting their foal since for pegassi only let family and close friends get wrapped under their wings , that it's instinctive only makes it cuter" Rd replied with a big smile knowing the little squirt she cared for isn't only seen as a friend in the human its heart but that the human instinctively pulled Scoots in a wing cuddle. Of course being called cute by a mare caused William to blush slightly

"Oh , well I don't think I'm good with foals but I just can't see Scoots sad and pouting" William looked at scoots only to notice after playing with the cmc and the dragon while he was away she fell asleep and just wraps his right wing more around her

Both sweetie belle and Applebloom were tired but still looked at the cute display before heading into the car to rest.

Rd and Luna started cleaning up the picnic then Celestia heads to William

"William , my apologies that you couldn't enjoy the picnic with friends because of your kinds past but I've learned a few things by your actions that are like the stallions of old" Celestia said as she handed William a apple of sweet Apple acre's that they took along

William took the Apple and bit in it only to be overwhelmed by its tastiness and smiled then looked at Celestia "well , beside making you all worried. I hope you all enjoyed yourself or at least the foals did I hope we can have some real quality time later but uhm may I ask you a question Tia?" William said to her as if talking to a lifelong friend which caused Celestia to smile

"You may and it's amusing that you call me the same nickname as Luna does as for the comments on my devouring of pastries you made my sister laugh and I know you meant no ill will" Celestia replied smiling having the friendly conversation making her feel like a normal pony

"Well I was worried about your response to the teasing , I mean you do control the sun which honestly is scary but well my question is simple. Ebony , the nice lunar guard who I had the pleasure of enjoying the night sky with told me Scoots has it rough I.. Honestly don't know what she ment with that but I wish I could help the little one" William replied as he looked a bit sad to the little filly wrapped in his wing who seems to be blissfully sleeping

"Ooh, that is a sad story indeed , she is a orphan she hasn't got anypony besides her two aunts to be there for her and they have their own herd with a stallion which doesn't make it easy for her, we are aware of the situation but we don't intervene or tell the services that would take her away since She hasn't gotten into any trouble with them but well a stallion in a herd with a foal that isn't their own isn't well taken and the services would pull her away from ponyville and her friends" Celestia replied with a hint of sadness but William his facial expression was pure rage

"Why didn't anypony adopt her I mean she is just a kid and a good one too sure she is active and might get into small trouble with her friends but that is no excuse for this" William replied angry as his anger caused his wings feathers to flare up slightly but not to much as if instinctively not wanting to disturb Scootaloo who is laying wrapped in them.

Celestia looks at William and smiles but then sighs as she remembers he hasn't seen much of Equestria and has a lot to learn "because she is a filly not a little colt her chance for adoption is very low especially at her age, in Equestria the mare to stallion ratio is 7 mares to 1 stallion and since stallion's hardly accept adopted foals from her age it's unlikely for her to get a good home. It is a sad truth" Celestia replied to William with a lot of compassion in her voice

"I call bullshit , sorry for these harsh words Tia but age and gender shouldn't matter one bucking bit , you care for people ....ponies for their personality nothing more or less, everypony who doesn't can burn in Tartarus by my standards. And to those instinct driven stallions just because the foal ain't theirs well let's just say I'd wanna give them a trip to the dentist" William replied causing Celestia ,Luna and Rd to look at William in a mixture of shock and happiness

"Well for a stallion thou aren't scared to voice thour believes in words quite vulgar but thine heart is in the right place but thou should keep thine words in check for thine own good" Luna said smiling but her body language still mostly showed shock because of the foul choice of words of the stallion something she isn't used to

"Wow hey William , I find it cool you're no spineless cry baby of a stallion and have mare like qualities but keep cursing to a minimal near the foals or well anypony in general, still if you care so much why not adopt her I mean you might be a strange creature but you've shown you aren't a monster and have intelligence even if you're a stallion who by Equestria's standards had it very bad and rough" Rd asked as she flew near William

"Honestly , I would if I were sure I could give her a good life but well I'm living on things I brought from home have no income or Job here yet and I don't know what ponies eat . If I could give her a home she deserves I would also what's wrong with the swearing?" William replied his voice filled with a mixture of compassion and sadness

"Well my friend , mostly mares work for bits while stallions stay at home and take care of the foals but considering you're not a pony and from a race that we aren't aware of I could give you a position with an income as a Representative of your race as for the swearing my little ponies aren't used to it and I wouldn't want you to be in trouble with the law" Celestia replied smiling whilst stepping closer to William but her tone sounded like that of a overbearing mother

"Nope one that sounds like seeping of your kindness and I'm my own man and I'm not a Representative since I hold no important position amongst my kind , but I do have a counter offer as for the swearing well guess I'll have to learn to adapt" William replied

"Oh your kind haggles too it seems though your actions are a little dated for stallions I'd love to hear your counter offer my friend" Celestia said suprised by William his attempt at haggling

"I'd like to be an advisor of sorts preventing the same mistakes my people made , have a small company on my name and cooperation with a inventor if such a job exists so I can aid Equestria with knowledge of my people though I'm not a genius I do have many books and learned a lot with my hobbies and which to use my people their discoveries that Equestria hasn't made yet to make an income aid Equestria while I learn and adapt to my new home" William replied in a uncertain tone if his counter offer wasn't even a viable counter offer to seeping of Celestia her kindness

William his reply caused the three ponies to have a confused look on their face an a bit of worry

"I'll accept it though its uncommon for a stallion to live alone without a herd or even to follow a career without at least one mare though I'll accept it and as for the location of your home it officially is within Equestrian borders but the Everfree isn't inhabited by many ponies so you shouldn't have mare trouble but I'll ask Twilight and her friends as well as the guard you seem to enjoy the company off to aid you if there is any trouble. As for the inventing and advisor part, I would gladly help you get settled and I'll invest and pay for the paperwork's of your company and pay you for the advisor station immediately but I expect both reports of your adjustments and will put you in the caring hooves of Twilight and her friends for education about Equestria and other things. But your first task as advisor will be tomorrow when a pony who worked on something similar but not as advanced as your metal beast will come , is this a suitable arrangement and of course the adoption of Scootaloo will be handled as well" Celestia replied with a big smile but the tone of her proposal and her stance made it seem more like a demand then a offer.

"I uhm... Don't like the being in care of others part but I don't think you will budge on that will you?" William asked with an expression of defeat written on his face

"Nope" Celestia said with a teasing smile that makes William think of the nickname trollestia

"Alright Tia , we got a deal , oh dear I'm going to need to face pinkie pie then . Oh dear god to much to handle at once" William said in defeat as he shook Tia her hand

"Don't you worry about it, I mean you got the most awesome mares to teach you and take care of you till you can stand on your own hooves" Rd said as she have William a nudge on the shoulder

So many bronies and pegasisters are probably cringing at this development or angry that I honestly want to stand on my own two feet considering the alternative William thought

"Well I better put this little angel with her friends" William said smiling as he took Scoots in his arms and put her in the car near the other cmc and tucked the three young fillies in a blanket whilst smiling

The female black giant dragon from before was looking at William his actions and just smiled before flying off

William tried to get into his car it's driver seat but had issues with his new appendages hitting the steering wheel as he gets inside the car

"That bucking hurt I don't know how you put up with wings" William said irritated

"Just relax and focus on them try to fold them" Rd said as If educating a foal

William tries but it fails miserably only getting his new appendages to spread out stifly out of irritation since he isn't used to having them

"Well that isn't working" William replied sighing as he heads out of his car and took his damaged jacket and looks at Rainbow Dash and the princesses who are trying to hold back their laughter

"RD could you maybe tie them down with my jacket my clothes are already a mess after my little excursion so might as well use the rags for something useful" William said still irritated as he handed Rd his now damaged jacket

Rd just stared at William and did what he asked as she looked at him

"You do know you're going to have to groom them right since they are a bit messy just like your mane" Rd said to William while she tightened the knot to keep his wings down

"I don't know how to groom wings since I never had them also my appearance is the least of my concerns, I mean falling in a old ruin fainting from pain caused by magic puts somepony his priorities in perspective , I still don't understand how I don't have any broken bones or the lack of blood on my clothes only scorch marks i mean falling a unknown length down into a cave should have left me wounded but not a scratch" William replied to Rd

"You fell in a cave" Rd said worried as she flew above him looking down at him

"Oh not just that went through some ruin with strange writing riddles and traps I luckily didn't trigger them all .I saw some skeletal ponies and a demi lich a female which is the dragon her friend , strangely she said our kind when talking about well humanity I don't think a floating skull is considered human and she used a term drifter but I think she ment that she probably was human once but" William said calmly but got interrupted by Rainbow dash

"You fell in a lair of a monster that uses necromancy and eat souls , Twillight and Fluttershy are going to be so angry, and you should be more careful" Rd replied angrily as she flew closer to William his face "I told my friends I'd keep an eye out for you, please be more careful from now on I don't wanna let them down" Rainbow Dash said while flying closer to William

"So it seems thour kind has dabbled in dark magic in the past" Luna said worried but her body language seemed that of dread since she didn't want him to fall to a dark path since Luna herself has caused harm with magic while she was Nightmare Moon

"Well I don't see it as dark I mean she didn't eat my soul and well demi liches don't eat souls they're either those who abandon the psychical plane for studies or just too good to eat souls of others, or atleast That's what they are like in games" William replied calmly "But if it helps you girls sleep at night I'll be carefull"

"Yes as thou says in thine kind their games , thou can't know if it is the same for the real thing so thou must be careful" Luna replied in commanding tone

"Now dear sister , I know it is hard to grasp a being not being corrupted by such magic but our friend has nothing to go on" Celestia said calmly trying to defuse the situation

William just got in his car as the others joined him

"Thou said our world has some of what thine kind saw as myth does thine kind have any myths to back thy claim that thine kind isn't corrupted by the dark arts" Luna asked worried hoping for any positive news to ease her mind

"Well my kind does view necromancy as negative in recent religion in the past it was different and well many other mythical fields of magic have the same viewpoints but it wasn't always like that and from what I think our myths were just the side effects of the last bit of what magic remained in our world or there might still be some weak kept secret I honestly don't know and I'm just guessing and am not going to deepen into that I'll stick with science maybe see if I can recreate a weapon for Scoots and my defence in the Everfree since I'd rather not have to rely on something that hurts me like hell and I don't know anything about" William replied as he drove back

"Why would you need weapons you'll have the most awesome mares looking out for you isn't that enough?" Rd asked irritated as if William didn't think her friends and her were good enough.

William sighed as he continued driving "it's not that I don't like the help you're giving me but well where I'm from males have evolved protecting the female of the species and well our gender roles how I despise status quo of gender stereotypes are still ingrained in my upbringing" William replied

"That sounds so awful how hasn't thee had an episode yet?" Luna asked worryingly putting her hand on William his shoulder

"Well the stallion's of the old time of the three tribes and the pillar's of old weren't as weak as the stallion's now where they" William replied irritated as if he was feeling belittled

"How do you know about equestrian history?" Rd asked as if she was suspicious of William his knowledge about equestria it's past

"Uhm the demi lich told me though not much sadly" William lied acting as if he was down for not being told more

"Thou art correct about thine statement but my sister and we have seen that trait decline together with the the decline of stallion's" Luna replies

"So what males are a rare little thing that should be protected and overly cared for?" William replied with a slight bit of venom in his tone

This caught Luna of guard causing her to seem sad as her ears turn backwards

"My friend I understand your irritation of such differences still such as your culture is ingrained in your upbringing so is it the same for our little ponies , we have been treating you different because of the difference in upbringing but you must learn to adapt as do those who you will interact with" Celestia said sternly like a mother educating their child

"Yeah , I mean when we found your house we noticed you acted strange but talking with you is sometimes like talking to a mare instead of a weak stallion , but you smell like a stallion and we can't just forget how we were raised but it's best to talk about this with my friends I'm sure Twillight would love to hear a lot about these differences" Rd replied trying to make William see their side to calm him down

"Yeah she would " William said laughing nervously hoping Twilight would go all crazy on the subject "Sorry again Girls.. I mean mares it is a lot I didn't think about your side" William said apologetically

"Apology accepted also must have new attire when thou returned thine clothes make thou seem like a maltreated stallion" Luna replied

"Well you could ask Rarity I'm sure she'd love to make you some new clothes and study your kind their Fashion" Rd replied

"Hmm maybe she can work one of the demi lich her gifts into a cane or wand or maybe detachable wand in a cane" William said thinking out loud

"Thou have gotten gifts of such a monster?" Luna asked worried as she looks at her sister to intervene.

"Hmm yes a crystal to focus magic like unicorns do with a horn and a few books still She probably is something of a bygone era of my kind so it's good to have the material to study to learn more but I'd rather just use science and my kinds knowledge but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy reading and well maybe I can learn why my body adapts the way it does and mutates because of the magic and yes I just called these bloody wings a mutation" William replied

"Hey! Don't you understand how lucky you are , you can now learn how to fly and maybe even walk on clouds" Rd replied

"I know its just to much happening at once I mean it's not that I hate it Dashie just well humans of my time aren't used to having wings nor magic or voices in their head, well we better get going back princess's could you maybe put your previous disguises on not for the point of disguising but more for well not making everypony look confused when we arive " William said nervously

"Thou doesn't wished to be seen with royalty?" Luna asked confused

"I already have a lot of attention coming my way being probably the only one of my kind and seeing I'll be in the care of ponies that have ties to you and your sister , add Pinkie probably will plan a party and Twillight will be too keen to study my kind , let's just say the only place I'll probably find peace is with Fluttershy or at my home but I probably won't find a lot of it so just give me the enjoyment of a little joke on Twi you can tell her tomorrow" William replied smiling as he drove to Sweet Apple acre's

Later at Sweet Apple acre's

A nervous Twilight could be seen trotting in circles.
"What if something happened! What if somepony pony napped him or they had a accident with the metal contraption or of he became sick because of high amounts of ambient magic!" Twilight said while nervously trotting before being stopped by AJ

"Don't ya worry Twi, Rainbow and those two other mares are with him , I'm sure they are doing doing well" Apple Jack said while putting her hand comfortingly on Twilight her shoulder.

"Yes darling no need to worry if something would happen I'm sure Rainbow and those two mares kept the strange Stallion safe" Rarity said smiling

"Or maybe their metal monster ate them, I won't be able to sing my welcome song , and no welcome to Equestria party and not even a welcome to ponyville party" Said Pinkie Pie while shaking Twilight wildly

"It will be alright Sugar cube just try to remain calm the stallion can't handle alot " Aj replied to Pinkie

"Oki doki Loki" Pinkie said smiling at Aj

At that time the engine of the car could be heard heading to sweet Apple Acre's

"Eep the metal monster wants to eat us!" Pinkie shouted jumping away in her silly antics as it drove to the ponies

William stepped out and let out the foals and the disguised princesses and then he heads towards the other ponies to be interrupted by a pink blur to come in front of him without a warning

Pinkie pulled a musical cart out of nowhere and she started to sing

"Welcome welcome welcome
A fine welcome to you
Welcome welcome welcome
I say how do you do?
Welcome welcome welcome
I say hip hip hurray
Welcome welcome welcome
To Ponyville today"" She sang bouncing around playing instruments like crazy only to look at William at the end

"Wait for it!" Was the last thing Pinkie pie said before William the small oven in her cart to open and shoot a chocolate cake at him causing William only to laugh

"Are you alright darling , I'm sorry we told her to be calm darling" Rarity said apologetically

"It's alright it isn't as bad as expected and chocolate is my favourite" William said smiling eating pieces of the chocolate cake shot at him as the foals laughed

"Darling don't worry I'll take you to the spa though what happened to your beautiful garments and how did you get wings" Rarity asked looking at William his damaged and now chocolate brown stained clothes with a worried expression

"Well it's complicated " William replied nervously

"I knew it I shouldn't have let you go out on a trip who knows what the princesses would say , I was supposed to make sure your taken care off" Twilight said worryingly causing Celestia and Luna who were disguised again to laugh, Rainbow Dash was about to tell something but Celestia have her and the crusaders a wink before leaving

"I'm pretty sure the princesses wouldn't mind" William said laughing while trying to calm Twilight

"What happened partner?" Aj asked

William was about to explain the situation but before he could speak Pinkie Pie interrupted him

"Did you during your trip meet a dragon who knows of your kind ,first being very angry but then got along with you sending you to a creepy weepy cave with a ruin with puzzles and traps ending with a creepy monster that you think once was like you who knows more about your kinds past then you do and have you some gifts after a little conversation" Pinkie pie said very fast and in a high tone

William just looked at Pinkie and calmly asked"How do you know that?"

"Just a hunch" Pinkie said cheerfully

William just looks utterly confused "I'm not even going to try and understand" he said with the most dumbfounded and confused face in a tone that just says I am not even opening that can of worms

Twilight rushed to William to check on him touching his new appendages his damaged clothes looking if he was hurt
"I got to make notes of the changes you are going through who knows what might be going on inside your body I should have taken a sample before this trip to research , tell me how you are feeling?" Twilight said eager to monitor William his state

"I grew wings, fainted from that and ambient magic and feel stiff all over I'm pretty sure the worst is behind me" William replied to twilight in confusion

"Well darling if you are that sore I could take you to the spa and get your wings and mane taken care off after taking you measurements so I can make you something better to wear since your little trip did do a number on your clothes and your mane" Rarity offered in a way that sounded more like a pushy order

"Sweet Celestia , it's not that I don't like the offer but I have clothes at home, no offence Rarity but I just got back from something rather strange for me" William replied as he sighed in irritation

"I understand darling that you want to be your own stallion but it's also better for you seeing that pinkie pie ran off after you got so confused by her antics and we can't have our reputation ruined as the mares that leave a stallion in such a sorry state" Rarity replied trying to convince William

"He already had so much ambient magic exposure there can be dangerous side effects and we need to monitor him without an internal flow of magic being able to come out except in mutations it could harm him a lot or even kill him" Twilight said worryingly

"Well if Rarity could put a stone that monster have me in a cane or wand I could should be able to focus magic through it and it could prevent the fearful of well to much magic destroying me on the inside theory twilight has" William replied

"I don't do cane's darling but I could put your stone into well maybe a small accessory like a ring" Rarity replied

"You are just going to trust a gift a monster have you!" Twilight shouted in shock

"Well then why don't you research it first just be sure to give it back , and Rarity that spa plan sounds good right now since I'm a little relaxation sounds good" William replied before handing Twilight the gem given to him by the demi Lich before locking his car and walking away from Twilight

"What's with that stubborn stallion?" Twilight asked confused

"Sugar cube I think ye are treating the stallion to much like a foal" Aj replied

"But he is in unknown world and he looks like that and he had so much negative effects from magic and he acts like a mare toughening it out" Twi replied in irritation

"Well he aint some weak foal Twi, and he told us on the trip where he is from stallions of his race are ment to be the strong type and now you made him feel bad by treating him like a little foal" Rd said to Twilight causing Twilight to look worried about her blunder with the to pony kind unknown creature

"Don't worry Darling I'm sure he won't hold it against you , he was a gentle colt to us in his house , I'll go and get him a good treatment, grooming and make some clothes and afterwards I'm sure he'll be cooled down" Rarity rushed to William who was already walking to ponyville

William noticed the mashmellow white mare and waited a bit "Sorry for running off like that but this wall flower baby handling kind of treatment gets on my nerves" William replied

"Well at least you don't have an episode and break down like most stallions.
So why don't we get you looking swell maybe remove that facial hair and cut your mane darling since it doesn't suit you after the spa treatment of course you look rather tense darling" Rarity said while trotting next to William

"Tense my entire body feels stiff because of ambient magic and don't get me started on the wings they feel like lead" William said while he continued walking but as he entered ponyville a strange mare went to him

"Well isn't that all sad a bad treated stallion don't worry , I'll keep you safe" the mare said only getting a glare from William

"No need , my friends and I were ordered by the princesses to take care of him" Rarity replied slightly irritated before walking ahead William followed her before being grabbed by the strange made

William just pulled his arm away from the mare and look at her "Now I don't mean to be rude but can you leave me be Amethyst Star since I have places to be" William replied causing the mare to be confused since she didn't introduce her self . William just continued to follow Rarity to the ponyville spa

"Darling using your strange piece's of knowledge of a few small things is rather confusing to some ponies so please keep it low" Rarity asked

"Don't worry Rarity I don't know every pony I just know a few things" William followed Rarity into the ponyville spa as he noticed Rarity greet Aloe

"Aloe a complete relaxation packet for two including wing massage, hooficure and complete massage please" Rarity said happily

Aloe smiled "Is it for that poor stressed" Rarity interrupted Aloe

"No offense darling but you can treat him like one of the mares he comes from a species where stallions aren't well that sheltered" Rarity said to Aloe causing Aloe to look at William with compassion

"I thought he was a strange sort of Minotaur or something like that don't worry Sir we will make you feel better now do you need help getting undressed since most of the treatment is without well clothes" Aloe said nervously

"Wait not even a towel around my waste to cover my well" William asked blushing like an idiot as his wings poofed up stiffly

"Is that abnormal where you come from darling?" Rarity asked confused at William

"Well you ponies have fur and sometimes clothing but I don't and well my kind don't have a sheath" he said blushing like a idiot the mares also blushed hearing that

Rarity just stood there blushing when she heard what was William said

"Don't worry sir you and your bathing suit will be kept a secret as for the treatments whilst moving around we will give you a towel to cover yourself up and maybe you can hide your embarrassment more because your wings are stiff" Aloe said teasingly causing William to blush like a tomato

"Please don't point it out" William just rushed into a changing room to take of his clothes and took a towel to cover his private parts

"Aloe darling did you have to tease him?" Rarity asked Aloe

"I'm sorry I couldn't help myself , he looks strange but exotic and it's kind of a cute response " Aloe replied smiling and giggling

"Darling don't tease him to much he isn't from Equis ,the poor stallion got dragged from his own world and life and isn't used to our social norms and doesn't know social cues of us mares either though it was cute to see him blush" Rarity said giggling before also getting ready for her treatment but the giggling of the two mares

William and Rarity came out of the changing rooms at the same time and got massaged

"Your muscles are very tense what has gotten you that sore and stiff?" Lotus asked William while massaging his shoulders

"Magic believe it or not my body isn't used to it its causing all sort of strange stuff muscle growth , growth of wings but the worse is the well negative effects" William replied but as the spa pony started to massage his back he let out a moan"Ooh that feels good"

"Enjoying yourself darling?" Rarity asked while another spa employed was massaging her

"Yes first time to a spa but it feels like all my problems are being kneaded out of me , I'm happy I came normally things like massage's aren't my style but I was used to well giving it to my well girlfriend when I had one" William calmly said to the marshmallow mare who know was also in bliss from a good pampering massage

"Oh my sorry for such a display darling and that sounds wonderful you really are a gentle colt then" Rarity said blushing after some small outbursts

"Don't worry Rarity and no not really just well be myself and wanted to spoil those I care for really" Lotus started to massage William his wings which were not in the best state "Oooh , that feels very good" William let out loudly during his wing massage to the point he moved them out of extacy

"I wonder how you even moved around at all being so tense Mister William , your muscles both wings and body felt tense as can be" Lotus replied trying not to blush while her costumer felt like he was walking on cloud nine

"Darling please try and keep your voice down or the mares will think you're getting another sort of treatment" Rarity said teasingly

William out of embarrassment had a wing issue causing Rarity and Lotus to blush but luckily William remembered rainbow his advice and tried to relax causing him to fold them naturally

"Not a word neither of you I'm not used to the damn things" William said before hiding his on the massage table he layed on

"Don't worry Darling it happens a lot either when a pegasus is surprised embarrassed or well I'll leave that one to the others to explain" Rarity said while stretching as her massage was done

William was also done so the both of them went into a small treatment area William could smell the beauty products in the air and wanted to dart to something simpler like the sauna but Rarity stopped him "Darling you really should join me they do good facemasks and styling of manes and wings which you will utterly adore"

William just sighed at Rarity "Well I can't split up from you since this was your idea so fine I'll try but no colouring my hair I like my natural black colour" he replied as he followed Rarity inside as he was met with the stares of a lot of different ponies

"Rarity I'm not sure If the staring because the towel or because of my hair and wings" William asked nervously

"Don't worry darling they probably think your legs and appearance are weird and well your mane and wings do need a lot of work " Rarity replied as she sat down as somepony who worked at the spa came to her she whispered something in their ear

William quickly was guided to a chair next to Rarity as he quickly lost himself as they starting treating his hair when William came to his senses he had a face mask on but he felt different , William looked around but couldn't see Rarity

"Sorry but how long did I dose off for" William asked to the spa pony who was still there

"Just a hour sir your friend told us how to treat you though her request was a bit odd" the pony replied

"Odd how?" William asked confused

"Well Rarity asked us while you were so entranced in the treatment for your hair and grooming of your wings to also make sure your more presentable, quite a head mare you got there" the spa pony said smiling

"Head mare? No she is just a friend wait what do you mean with presentable" William looked into a nearby mirror and saw he had a face mask on but his hair seemed to be cut and he didn't see any hairs come through the face mask "She shaved me , Oh I'm going to have a decent talk with that mare" William said angrily

"Now now calm down it was really needed and we did our best to make you look as good as possible" the spa pony replied while William took of his face mask and felt his face staring at himself in the mirror actually being impressed by the handy work as his hairstyle which he recognised as the pompadour hairstyle from earth did suit him and how smooth his skin looked not to mention how soft it felt as he brushed his fingers over it

"Well I'm impressed though its sad that I have such a baby face but luckily no humans means no guessing at my age I suppose but I honestly like it" William said smiling to the mare near him

"We also thought it would fit better though I would have coloured it since it being black isn't well as cute as it can be for a stallion but it looks strapping and well basic wing care also went well you were moaning in bliss at the wing massage and the oil treatment your strange hoof bits also had some treatment though it looked sensitive so we used a small vile " the mare replied smiling as William got up and felt his wings for the first time since coming to Equestria he didn't feel stiff and sore and the fluffy soft wing which are still weird for him did have a charm without the dust and messy state they were in the colour of it could be seen as a majestic white

"Yes I feel actually never felt better then now , so where did Rarity go to?" William asked the spa pony

"Well after her face pampering she left you in our care she did take your measurement and the rags you came in with and left" the pony replied

"Wait she took my clothes! Sweet Celestia" William shouted as he noticed Aloe walking in

"Mister William , could you follow us please miss Rarity has brought your new attire" Aloe said to William gesturing him to the changing room

"Well that was quick ,I understand she is the element of generosity but That's a bit to much" William said as he walked in the changing room and noticed what seemed like a black suite and white shirt "Hmm not bad at least it isn't multi colour eyesores or dresses" he said thanking god he isn't going to look like a multi colour nightmare before putting on the pants but then he had a small issue "Blasted wings , how do you put them through those holes" when William said this twilight came inside with the gem he had given her to run tests on to calm her fears

"Is everything ok?" Twilight asked nervously looking at William seeing twilight in the stallion/men changing room made him jump "Jeez Twi a knock would have been nice" William replied

"I'm sorry your just taking so long also I got a letter from the princesses they said me and my friends will be in charge for your well-being but also stated to treat you like a stallion of old and help you adapt "This conversation made William roll his eyes " Why don't I help you with that shirt" Twi used magic to help William get his shirt and the suit its jacket on she noticed magic still softly dissipated into the human but not at an alarming spell disabling way

"Thanks Twi" William replied to being helped with his clothes "it's nothing that's what friends are for and you probably have issues with new appendages" William laughed at Twi her comment "Yes they are a bit of a pain to get used to so how were your tests on the gem" William asked hoping to change the subject since he didn't like being unable to put on his clothes without help which is very embarrassing

"I've finished test on it , it seems like a magic conduit to let magic flow outwards in a concentrated manner like unicorn horns but everypony has a different way of storing magic , unicorns storing it in a well specialised organ , earth ponies storing it in their muscles and pegasi storing it in their wings but from my test on it I honestly can't see how you can use it since your body seems to store magic differently" Twi replied

"And how would you know how my body stores magic?" William asked confused

"Well I might have taken a hair from your little treatment here and one that was in your house when you weren't looking it seems your body itself can store magical energy anywhere inside itself but none to the amounts needed to cast magic this is the same reason why a earth pony if they would have that gem you have I though maybe a more direct testing would be needed" Twi said William just stretches his arms and wings "yeah not feeling like being a test subject Twi also I got no ideas really, I mean I might have an idea but I'll sound like a mad pony" William replied as he walked past twilight out of the changing room

"What do you mean you'll seem like a mad pony?" Twilight asked following him "Well I've had this voice in my head and some unknown terms thrown my way by the monster I met , not like I can say hey voice in my head explain my own limitations in magic and how that gem works" William replied laughing nervously this caused twilight to be worried about any negative side effect of magic on William so she used a simple medical spell to check William his mental health

"She is persistent and did you really have to mock my existence" the familiar unknown voice echoed within William his head but because of the spell of twilight she heard it aswell and took a step back

"Who ... What was that?" Twilight asked confused and slightly frightened "Don't ask me I've been hearing her since I came to Equis and it is her who seems to know more then me about magic and my kind"
William replied softly to not cause a scene
"I'm not a what but a who and to answer your previous question from Twilight the human stomach and intestines double as the organ to store magic in our original home where there was hardly any magic we had to work with small weak forms of communication to warn our human that being gut feelings, but I can say I'm happy William is adapting well to the amounts of ambient magic even started to passively create his own thanks to the monster that William keeps thinking of keeping the race it was secret from you because he doesn't want to be treated like a foal which in all due respect he is when it comes to magic" the familiar unknown voice echoed within William his head

Twilight and William should there just shocked

"Yeah I'm just going to ignore this , I mean Thats the biggest conversation we ever had and it's still insulting" William replied

"Well it could be because your body is adapting and it is helping it, not to mention how crazy this is I wanna research it" Twilight said with a big grin

"Yeah no, last time I grew wings , wings Twilight , I have no interest into poking and bugging the strange voice" William replied annoyed which made Twilight stop her spell since she didn't want to make the strange man even more annoyed like before

"I agree with you for once William, I have to much to do making sure your body itself has good flow of magic this is like fixing a never maintained pipeline , and I have to much trouble coming through to you though the massages and treatment helped slightly" the unknown voice said fading out

"Did it say something again?" Twi asked

"Yes basically work work work hardly can talk to you oh an fixing magical flow inside my body whatever that means" William replied as he pur on his shoes and continued walking out of the spa

"Ooh Thats simple , every being has magic in their body and it needs to flow through it say if a unicorn has used a very powerful spell they get exhausted because magic in their body which normally flows through it mildly supporting it is disrupted to the intensity of magic usage causing exhaustion" Twilight explained

"So its like stamina or something but then a strange energy that flows through someone if I understand it correctly" William tried guessing to understand it

"Well not strange its a natural force and the magical flow inside a creature is basically how magic goes through it, say if somepony were to interrupt the magical flow of a pegasus causing them to be unable to interact with passive magic in Equis its atmosphere" Twi got interrupted by William "it would cause them to fall through clouds and have issues flying" William said unsure

"Wow you learn quick well yes but it also works other ways say high emotional stimuli can cause rampant magic release or build up" Twilight replied enjoying teaching her new friend

"OK so emotions affect it got it , well I'd rather just really on what I'm familiar with" William replied causing Twi to frown a little as they left the spa but as they left the spa they noticed Rarity

"Sorry for leaving you darling , I do hope I didn't went to far you looked like you needed the little pampering " Rarity said as she noticed William look at her

"It actually was pretty nice also I love the new clothes though next time give me a warning won't you" William replied smiling "of course darling and I see you and Twi are getting along" Rarity said looking at Twi

"Well we had a fun interaction and well I guess I shouldn't be mad from before but well tense muscles and pain and irritation plus pampering like a foal just got me a little on edge but no harm done" William said smiling "but I must say I love the attire you made Rarity it really is lovely"

"Ooh thank you darling it was a bit different then my other work but I thought it would fit you perfectly and it's nothing special to help a friend" Rarity said modestly

"Well it is special to me though I feel like a freeloading bum since you did so much" William said looking down

"Don't be like that darling it was nothing " Rarity hugged William

"Well for me it isn't nothing because well most humans are out for themselves but I guess I shouldn't give social commentary on a species I won't see again but I will start working tomorrow so I will treat you with something back Rarity" William replied smiling as he walked through town while Twi was taking notes on what William just said

"Why don't we go around ponyville it might be good for you to learn through seeing Equestrian culture " Twilight offered

"Well I'd love to but Twi could you maybe prepare some equestrian history books for me oh and maybe books showing how far Equestria is technological and magic wise" William asked twilight

"Ooh I'm going to have to plan lessons maybe ask Cheerlie for some advice , well why don't you two have fun while I prepare your education" twilight said before teleporting away

I have risen anyway sorry for the wait also sorry if this chapter is too big , I've had a lot of ideas how to do this chapter redoing different scenarios but I'm happy with how it turned out and expect more in the future also for the clop aspect of tag as I stated before since I got some whispers from some readers i let such things come naturally so it will take time before we get there I just preemptively added that tag since it is planned

I edited some previous chapters fixing some mistakes.
I sadly have had no word of those who offered to proof read or help me edit my story add work on top of that , I hope everypony understands it caused a delay in the story if anypony really wants to help with the story or help correct my mistakes or give me hints That would be very nice also I've noticed at my return a little bit of fighting in the comments and well I'll simply say I'm happy I'm being corrected.
I'm very sorry that some dropped out because of the errors I made but I understand and no I don't think anypony is bad for pointing out the mistakes I make nor dropping the story because of it , and I value the input given by everypony , I hope I'll improve and maybe find help , though its possible I'll probably rewrite it all if need be anyway thanks everypony who does enjoy it and who gives constructive criticism.

Strange afternoon at the park

Ponyville park

William was walking enjoying the sights of Ponyville as in the distance he saw two familiar ponies a brown stallion with a hourglass cutie mark and a grey mare with a blond mane and bubbles as a cutie mark "Oh that is just beautiful" William said softly smiling at them in the distance

"Is something interesting Darling?" Rarity asked looking at William who had a big adoring smile.
"Oh nothing I just saw what looked like one of my heroes , I mean if it is him I don't know but someone can dream" William replied .

"Well darling if you enjoy the park I could go get you something to drink just don't trot of and stay in the park and don't get into any trouble" Rarity said kindly letting the man enjoy his little moment

"Don't worry I'll stay and I'd love some soda but you don't have to do that you've already given me so much" William said but quickly got interrupted by Rarity. "No it's nothing darling. Now I'll be right back" Rarity said before trotting off but as William looked at Rarity trot off he saw a grey version of the same stallion look from the distance at Derpy and what William thought was the doctor. William walked to the grey looking version of the Doctor. "Reminiscing about something Doctor?" William said to the grey discorded looking version of the stallion.

The grey stallion looked at William "if it isn't William are you here to nag my ears off about my life or maybe preach to me about my past" the discorded Doctor said with venom ,exhaustion and suffering hanging from his words

"I know you don't mean that it's kind of funny meeting one of my heroes like this then again can't complain 10th regeneration version of you my personal favourite in a equine world but I can't see you like this so even If this for me is the first time meeting you , I think I know a few things that might cheer you up" William replied

"Oh buck off you're always trying to put things in their place making sure the timeline you seem to know is close to what you think it should be even with you being in the equation so they have their happiness tell me where is the fairy tale like ending for me and my people , why do you even try?" the discorded doctor said angrily with tears in his eyes as he holds William by his collar

"I try because where I come from there are tales ... stories of which I take inspiration one being of this universe and one well about you , I don't know how you came here hell I don't know how I came here but I can tell you this , I look up to you and I know right now you're in a dark place so can I ask one of my heroes to look into parts of my memories" William asked looking at the doctor with compassion , who slightly became brown being called an inspiration and hero

"What would be the point you said before this is the first time we met" the discorded doctor said sadly as he looked at a younger him with derpy "Not like it matters" the discorded doctor said in a tone filled with regret

"Not entirely true but if I'd say things you wouldn't listen like you are now so why not look , seeing is believing" William replies as he smiled at the discorded doctor

"If it will stop your stupid grinning and you will let me be in peace then fine" the discorded doctor replied snapping at William.

"I will if you want" William replied as he thought of the doctor who movie , the end of The Doctor's Daughter episode as the discorded doctor whooves touches William his head only causing him to regain his colour and hug William and cry.

"I... Saved them and Jenny how do you... No why did you show me this now" the discorded doctor completely regained his colour as he asked crying from the amount of emotions overcoming him.

"There is the Doctor I know and I might not know what the future holds here in Equestria I mean , i'm a variable that isn't supposed to be here but I care and take inspiration of the ponies of this world but when it comes to putting things in it's place and help to get a fairly tale like ending well that's because of you , this might sound stupid but well I know you probably wanted closure to what you left behind unwillingly so I showed you what happens normally I'm not sure if you're an imprint or a copy or if this is a side effect of that major ripple effect when you saved your home but I'm happy if I have you a little closer and if I just helped well one of the best get back out there in any little way well I can be proud of that" William said directly from his heart as he hugs the Doctor

"I... Thank you my friend , my regards to days to past" he said smiling as he broke the hug

"And mine to days to come" William said smiling

"Also you better get going , I mean you came to see your hero not a mess that I am now" The doctor said

"Well I got some time to kill and well I wouldn't want you to be alone so , why not for once go through the normal way of time and well Derpy and the younger you just left the park so no chance in running into them , I don't know maybe grab a bite or a drink or something" William said nervously causing the doctor to laugh

"Well I might stick around a little bit I mean smell the roses of what I protect , enjoy the company of the ponies I save from behind the scenes" the doctor said laughing

"That's just sappy old man who told you that sappy junk"William said teasing him

"Just a homo sapien who was trying to get my lazy but back in action , this means you knew all this time you'd meet me here , you're really childish you know" the doctor said laughing

"What's the point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes" William replied with the biggest smirk he can muster before heading deeper into the park to sit near a tree

"Don't you use my own words against me it gets really annoying in the future you know" the doctor replied

"Sorry grumpy , now I wish I had some butter or maybe a pear" William said laughing "but in all seriousness Doc it's nice meeting you"

"Well you won't be so happy next time you see me but its pleasant" the doctor replied

"Right now I wish I had my phone or well something so I can reach you with I mean your the first stallion here I met and probably one of the few fitting earth terms of well masculinity ,and my cigarettes are still in my old clothes with my phone" William said sighing deeply

"Don't worry well I better get going back to my time and make up with derpy and probably see a very smug expression on someone their face also a small gift" the Doctor handed William what looked like a usb

"Oh smug me never well maybe sometimes also a USB stick seriously doctor Thats low tech for you" William put the USB stick away and layed against the tree

"Hey its not my fault your technology is so 21th century earth like also you asked for of and do you know how hard it is to get all collective data of a species till a certain amount of time and filter out all you are going to ask , I mean really and I had to make it work with old human technology" the doctor replied

"Wow I really owe you one" William said surprised
"Actually not really but you will find out but a question how did you always break into the tardis in the future" the doctor asked

"Spare key above the P ,now have fun Doctor I'm going to enjoy some shade and watching ponies play in the park ,you got a mare to apologise to and a very important mare at that" William replied laying down calmly

"Oh don't give me the Derpy is loved by millions speech before I met her she was just a kind and gentle mail mare" the doctor replied

"I recently let you look through some of my memories revolving you , do you really think I'd lie about a mare , I mean if I can be whisked away from my reality who says others can and well hmm let's just say I know many people who'd do worse things to you then a dalek could just for hurting that mare , probably because daleks don't imagine except well you know" William replied to the doctor calmly

"Wait what, you are serious?" The doctor asked

"Yep , that mare is like hmm , imagine a universe being observed not interacted with because interaction is impossible or normally interaction is impossible , and a giant group of people having a soft spot for one person in that universe. Well I'm pretty sure you can see what would happen if the beloved person was hurt correct" William replied

"Thousands of the observers being angry at possible every parallel version who comes close to the one who hurt said person, wow multiversal hate and harm on a physical or mental level, wait derpy is that beloved?" The doctor looked confused

"Oh yeah she is a loved to the point its insane but so are many ponies" William said smiling

"Well on which side do you stand on that?" The doctor asked

"Hmm I think I'd also wanna make you suffer if you hurt Derpy unless I have reason to believe it wasn't your own will like you being discorded like before , if I'd see you hurt her without that as an excuse well if you're killed during regeneration you know" William replied
Threateningly to make his point clear how defensive he is of the ponies

"Yes I know most ponies don't have a bad bone in their bodies except for a few but I'll be honest it only would be a last resort but to be fully honest I'm flawed I can get angry. And unlike the harmonious locals I would get my hands dirty if I have too and well Doctor , I said If I have to I'd rather not kill or harm but if I have to I will also I said a example so you know what a threat I can be so in case I go down a wrong path well let's just say it's always better to have more then one back up plan in case I would go down a wrong path and you are one of them" William replies

"I know. You are rather paranoid about the changes magic has to your body and protective and your instincts oh wait for those it explains the ... Oh and good luck today and especially tonight since You're going to be exhausted before your party " the doctor said before leaving into a alleyway and a strange sound follows

"Hello darling. I brought your soda also I saw you talking to some pony are you alright?" Rarity asked while handing William the soda.
"Yep seems like I made a new friend or met an old friend, knowing certain thing's is so confusing" William said taking the soda before drinking Sweet sugary goodness I still feel bad since they only have certain sources of sugar but sweet cola like soda in Equestria is a win for me William thought smiling as he drank

"Darling you're not making any sense" Rarity replied

"It's complicated Rarity , also what happened to the stuff that was in my clothes?" William asked looking at Rarity

"Oh that" Rarity said smiling while waving her hand dismissively as her ears perked to the side "Twilight took it darling she noticed a packet with rather grotesque imagery on it and a two strange devices one that made fire and another one a glass pane I hope it wasn't bad for her to take them for research"Rarity replied nervously

" Grotesque imagery?!" William replied confused but before he could understand what Rarity ment with it a purple flash made William jump in shock as a purple unicorn appeared out of nowhere

"William why did you have poisonous objects and a way to light fires without magic with you" Twilight said in a suspicious and worried tone while holding all William his items near him , William just took his stuff back and took a cigarette out of the package and lit it with his lighter

"Uhm self destructive but addictive behaviour because of a addictive substance in the cigarettes aka the round sticks out of the package with grotesque imagery that acts as a warning to possible side effects of long term use" He said before laying down again

"It smells horrible Darling why would you do something that is so harmful and has such a disgusting smell as side effect?" Rarity asked William who was calmly smoking a cigarette

"Addiction really but well I'm going to have to learn how to quit anyway since well magical pony land probably doesn't have these ,or I'll have to get a pipe and ask some country ponies if they have it" William replied holding on to a faint hope of not having to quit smoking

"If it's harmful you're going to have to stop , Rainbow and Scoots would be really sad if you fell sick" Twilight shouted angrily while trying to take the cigs back but William didn't let her near them so her horn started glowing

"Don't try it twilight I can get rather cranky and I'm not a small foal so treat me like an adult " William said while glaring daggers at Twi before taking another pull from his cigarette "Besides even after how painful magic was at the start it has caused for general health improvements like my muscle growth , now where to go?" William said smiling"Library and Sugar cube corner are off limits since Pinkie is probably planning something, hmm maybe a bar , do ponies have bars" William asked causing Twilight to blush

"Do you mean a stallion bar?" Twilight asked blushing a deep purple

"Uhm I don't even know what that is but if it has something to drink and maybe a sing if I'm drunk enough I'd like it though the term stallion bar probably means something else" William replied nervously

"Darling a stallion bar is where stallions go when their mares are away some mares work there comfort the stallions as well as other things but they have what you wanted it is something subsidises by the Equestrian government to help stallions" Rarity explained

William his jaw dropped "Wait free drinks and oh god , OK Twilight explain me why such things exist and don't say episode without explaining it" William replied just in utter confusion

"Well... Stallions are a bit soft when they have to much stress ,pain or are lonely they break down emotional all in different ways being either crying , foaming from the mouth , secluding themselves into their own little world or other negative ways" Twilight tried to explain as gently as possible getting while Rarity and her started worryingly at William waiting for his response only to be met with laughter

"OK sorry now seriously since I find it hard to believe that you protected your colts so much such a thing happened" William said laughing only to get confused stares from Twilight and Rarity "Wait you're serious , damn I don't even know how stallion guards can be a thing then dear god almighty" William replied in shock

"Darling I hope you aren't using humour to hide your emotions now from the situation your in" Rarity replied in a caring tone

"No just wow I thought it be a small difference, hmm I hope not all stallions are well such wall flowers ... Is that even an expression here" William replied in disbelief the differences not entirely sinking in yet

"Big Mac and a few other stallion's like my brother Shining Armour , and the guard ponies aren't such wall flowers but they still are stallion's" Twilight replied hoping it would make William feel less awkward about his situation

"Hmm ok good to know well I wish I could reach the off duty guard ponies now maybe the bat ponies to I don't know have a drink or something , I don't mind mares but I also need someone to hang with and talk to about mares, no offence" William replied while putting out his cigarette

"I could use spike to send a letter to the princesses if you want but only this once , you need to make friends and I want you to show me what the glass pane device does and maybe you should let the ponies get used to your strange form of transportation so you won't scare anypony with it" Twilight replied with a big smile eager for an answer

"Well the car I'm not sure not even sure if I can recreate its fuel might need to adjust it with some help but about my smart phone without any cellular network its a glorified small computer hmm, maybe I can explain it later and maybe give me some time alone no offence girls don't worry I'll stay here" William smiled

"Alright but you better keep that promise and don't get into trouble" Twilight left with Rarity to give William his space but as Rarity left she said "Don't get into trouble Darling and if you are lost don't follow strange mares" William face palmed at this

William looked around and noticed Octavia playing a lullaby for a princess causing William to sing along to it

The harmony's silent today William sang full of emotion causing Octavia to be surprised as she played while other ponies in the park look perplexed as out of nowhere some ponies began to sing the tones along

Have carried you softly to sleep William continued singing full with emotion as a faint glow surrounded him causing what seemed like mirages of the past while he sang as it seemed the mirage of princess Celestia sang along as music came out of nowhere playing along to the song William continued singing along to the song unbeknownst to him every depiction of Celestia throughout Equestria was affected and followed the mirages of the past with the song resonating near them as it came to it's end many ponies in the park had tears in their eyes but William didn't notice the mirages of before

Meanwhile in Canterlot Castle

Luna and Celestia both saw their stained windows mimic it causing Celestia to cry and hug Luna "Sorry you had to see that sister, it's a old song I..." Luna hugged Celestia before she could do anything and cried holding her sister all the guard ponies near them who saw the window panes changing showing those events and hears music come from them were in deep tears some Solar guards who still weren't used to Luna yet felt compassion and sadness for what the princesses went through.

Celestia held her little sister close while crying "I am still so happy you are back dear sister, I never expected my old lullaby for you to be shown like this I sung it to you after" Celestia got hugged tighter by Luna "It is alright sister I..am happy to see how much thou cared even if I didn't hear it then" Luna said very emotionally

Meanwhile in the Golden oak library

Twilight had just seen the same past events unfurl because of a book about Equestrian history that opened on a page of Celestia with a drawing that changed to follow the mirages having Twilight to tears and also causing her to try and identify the source of the magic fueling what she just experienced

"It came from ponyville park well the voice that sang with the princess her voice during was William's I got send this to the princesses and research upon this" Twilight added her findings to the invite to get some lunar guard ponies who were off duty to keep William company

Back at the park

William was being overrun with questions causing him to step back "no I am not 1000 years old it's just someone of my kind who knows of Equestria sang it how was I supposed to know it was a old song here" William replied stepping away from the horde of ponies surrounding him

Sorry for the small chapter as for those wondering

I'm pretty sure any pony would wanna harm anyone who harms derpy in anyway as for those who are confused in my head canon doctor whooves and the doctor of doctor who are the same so I used some knowledge of the other show to well pull a discorded broken stallion back from his lazy ass

Royal entourage ,Chilling with stallions and a Welcoming party

In the sky above Ponyville park

"Sister what does thou intend to do to thine new human subject. Thou said thour old lullaby was hear by our subjects in the past maybe Our new subject heard it somewhere?" Luna asked Tia who had rushed her and some lunar guards to quickly head to pony ville.

"Luna haven't you ever thought how he could know the lyrics? But to be honest I just want to investigate our new subject and also see his response to that we already got done for his citizenship and adoption papers , though I wonder if he truly isn't scared of your guards as he claims since you're often surrounded by them sister and I've seen how you trotted around like a little foal when you heard his opinion on your First Lieutenant Ebony and your night sky .Your wings did give your feelings away at the time" Celestia said with a teasing grin

"Thou must jest the stallion only was kind to one of my guards and complimented my night sky. It was simply startling news after his nonchalant comment about him thinking his mind was showing something he enjoyed during his strange dream " Luna replied in defence blushing at what her sister implied

"Did they have to wake us earlier for this. I thought there was an emergency but it's just visiting a lonely Stallion who according to rumours killed a timberwolf and made a manticore flee, I mean who believes such reports. Now we got to wake up early cause a big tale stallion is lonely" a male Lunar guard said annoyed

Down in ponyville park

William was looking at the flying carriage with 6 lunar guard ponies near it I'm bucked , if the ponies saw a mirage they spoke off I got no clue what the else I might have caused William thought as he imagined many bad scenarios thinking the magic might have left the princesses mimicking the mirage "Welp I'm bucked" William said nervously looking around as he noticed a foot/hoof ball stuck in the tree he was laying under before and tries to retrieve it by climbing in the tree

Above ponyville park

"If thou thinks his actions be but a tall tale thou could go down and try thou luck in scaring him though thou will not succeed" Luna replied to the guard

"Is that a smart idea princess?" Ebony asked Luna worrying for the guard

"Thou art right , Private refrain from..." Luna said but the male lunar guard bat pony already was heading to William in a dive

back down at the park

"Wait that pony is taking a nose dive right as us" one of the ponies surrounding William from before said

William jumped out the tree with the ball and looked at the approaching bat pony "OY SLOW DOWN YOU'RE GOING TO SCARE THE FILLIES AND COLT HERE IF YOU'RE DIVING SO STEEP" William shouted but the bat pony didn't slow their descent causing William to look at the ball he got out of the tree "Sorry whoever's ball this is but" William kicked the ball upwards aiming for the bat pony but because of the subtle changes to William his body caused by ambient magic that being stronger muscles and some unknown to him being better reflexes and coordination the ball flew towards the bat pony and hit them right in the nuzzle causing them to crash in a nearby tree.

"Now I'm definitely bucked , I guess the changes in appearance aren't for show. Well I better run everypony I think I just made a big mistake" William said before trying to run of only to be cut of by a carriage with the princesses and 5 guard ponies landing in front of him.

"It seems you have gotten into a little trouble my human friend" Celestia said looking at William "Why did thou kick a ball at my subject?" Luna shouted angrily in the royal canterlot voice

"Ouich my ears , I'm gonna be deaf." William replied holding his ears in pain

"Now calm down sister I'm sure your guard his deep dive just frightened him" Celestia replied

"Deep dive he was coming down like a missile and well there were a lot of ponies around me , you think I wanna risk a high speed collision" William replied

"Thou made one of my guards look like a laughing stock by hitting them with a toy and letting them crash in a tree" Luna replied a bit softer not to deafen all the ponies around her

"Well I honesty thought he was out to get me, I mean I previously did something I didn't even know I could do nor do I know what I really did and well I thought of the worst possible scenario that being ..." William his nervous response got interrupted by Celestia

"That being what young human , why would thou fear us after our trip from before?" Celestia asked softly in a motherly tone

"Well that you'd be angry since I don't know what the hole Mirage and singing thing had as effect plus having two allicorn's that as I said before move Celestial bodies like the sun and moon is very frighting as is a possible collision with a pony flying at someone like a tactical missle" William replied

"What does thou mean with tactical missile and did thou not say thou didn't fear my subjects? Was that a lie?" Luna asked very emotionally

"Not a lie just depends on context , flying at me at high speeds is intimidating because of the threat of collision. In other situations where they aren't living projectiles , no just adorable. As for missiles how do I explain a weapon of war to a princess of a peaceful kingdom" William was in deep thought "think very dangerous big fire work shot at a area with high speeds and meant to explode like a lot of TNT... Do ponies have TNT? They have fireworks so gunpowder exists I think" William replied

"That doesn't explain why thou would throw a ball to prevent them from hitting thee" Luna replied

"Well actually , normally high speed objects falling of stairs and other things can easily damage me. I'm not as sturdy as magical ponies or at least if I am now. Which I don't want to test out, it was just the desire to prevent pain to kick in" William replied apologetically

"Thou thinks that thee aret a meek being compared to us ponies even if thine species has traits of a predator" Luna said confused

"Well I originally was , magic honesty made me unsure what to think but" William got interrupted by a angry lunar guard with twigs and leaves in his mane
"What the buck was that ball for , I wasn't going to crash into you I wanted to test your meddle" the angry lunar guard replied angrily trying to look intimidating because of how he was made to look like a fool

"You tested it and well you don't really think a stationary bat pony is gonna scare me right you're nocturnal which means highly light sensitive eyes and your bat like traits can become one of your weaknesses. Still I dig the fangs they look cool but the fur colour and the rest not so intimidating" William replied this caused Ebony to laugh

"Thou doesn't find them frightening? They are omnivorous." Luna asked confused

"No offense Luna but wolf's made of wood just look strange and manticores are well frighting if you got nothing to protect yourself with. Multicolour ponies no matter their species be it you or your sister or either of your subjects their appearances are just adorable compared to well anything else I can think off though their abilities are a hole different story also I'm an omnivore myself it would be rude to hate them for that but I can survive of a herbivorous diet if I do it right" William said calmly trying to explain his train of thought this made the nearby ponies which came to look at what was going on nervous

"Why would thou change thine eating habits?" Luna asked confused

"Pretty simple really some things considered livestock at home well their Equis counterpartsare sentient which honestly makes it akin to cannibalism since I came from a place where my kind is the only sentient race. " William said smiling nervously causing the Lunar guards to look confused but the nearby ponies to be more at ease

"So wait he is a predator? He has no claws or fangs to hunt with. How does your kind hunt?" The male lunar guard asked pulling sticks out of his mane

"Well originally with a lot of stamina tiring our prey out but that is a outdated practice. Now we use our knowledge to make dangerous long range weapon's or traps but that is also outdated since my species their farmers keep livestock which then is bought. But It's not my area of expertise" William said scratching the back of his head nervously

"Didn't thou say thou aret worried about thine survivability ?What thou says doesn't describe any reason for thou to worry"Luna said confused

" Well I didn't plan to explain things in the middle of the park near you two and so many ponies. But how should I put it for my species I was weak since physical strength isn't needed when you're the dominant and only sentient intelligent species on your planet, I was well not athletic. It actually made me wonder if I can still get stronger since I might have killed a lone timberwolf but they were probably weaker because of the ambient magic disruption my arrival caused." William replied nervously since he wasn't certain of his statement and the gazes of the ponies and the princesses made him feel a little on edge.

"You aren't weak if that is what you're afraid off that ball hurt" the Lunar guard replied still getting twigs and leaves out of his mane.

"Sorry about that" William replied nervously standing there for the fallout of his actions.

"Aah it's good for the privates to get a little exercise and like you said us ponies are tough especially the guards" Ebony said smiling causing the Lunar guards to stand proudly even the stallion with just one twig still stuck in his mane. This caused both Luna and Tia to giggle.

"So ... Sorry to seem ungrateful for you visiting but if I'm not in trouble why did I get a royal entourage." William asked confused

"Oh , my human friend no need to be so nervous and worried. We got your request for some ponies to have stallion time with as for why we came along we noticed you singing a old song which holds a lot of meaning for us and your little magical accident that came with it , though it did cause enough of a emotional moment that I could cancel day court." Celestia replied with a smile as she looks at Luna.

"Emotional moment I hope I didn't cause any problems last thing I want is to make ponies uncomfortable" William said before swiftly being interrupted by Luna "Thou didn't, thour singing of my sister old song though being about a hard subject thou did something good we wondered how thou knowest the song?" Luna asked William stepping closer to him

"Hmm how should I explain this certain events of Equis leaked into my world in a manner of speaking and well I think because dimensional coordinates include space and time separately our knowledge of events span a lot of time though if I can be honest i felt compassionate towards what you two have been through" William said going through Luna her mane a bit teary eyed thinking of how much pain Luna and Celestia must have gone through.

Though if you mean my personal preference would be Luna both from her personality and well looks since her mane looks like her night sky which itself twinkle like a beautiful dark sky filled with Sparkling jewels who's beauty are hard to describe where her beautiful moon shines as the biggest jewel of all just as Luna herself. And because I also can relate to her." William said embarrassed as he noticed Luna giggle and blush a dark blue

"Be careful William or you might be forcefully relocated to Canterlot" Celestia said teasingly

"Alright Casanova reel it in" Ebony said giving William a playful bump

"Sorry and about your subjects, I think most ponies don't have a bad bone in their body though a bit soft they are wonderful. Though I still have a lot to learn about them" William replied

"Thou shall have time to adapt if thou needs help. Thou can also count on us. As for one of the reasons we came our sister has procured and finished paperwork for thine citizenship and thou will have Ebony near thou self from tonight on to aid thou with thine protection and aid of thour adopted filly. Thou still wants to continue that process right thou should learn about it since thou probably won't long be without a herd if thou keeps speaking thine mind as thou does." Luna said as she still blushed and stepped to William and softly moving her tail against him

William started mumbling like an idiot thinking of what Luna meant

"Sister please you might break the poor stallion and he doesn't know pony body language" Celestia replied smiling trying to calm the situation

"Uhm.... Uhm..." William was still trying to understand what was going on but then thought of the papers and adoption part snapped him to reality"Wait I'm officially a resident then of Equestria and well about the help thank you for the help , I hope I can proof myself to both of you and can repay your kindness" William said as he made a polite bow to the princesses

"Why don't you go with the male lunar guards and have fun the reason you asked for company before you have to keep my sister away with a stick" Celestia said smiling. This caused Luna to loudly shout "Sister!" Out of embarrassment as a dark blue blush formed on her face.

William laughed nervously "Well , Sticky why don't we and the other stallion's go and have some fun maybe a drink or something" William said looking at Male Lunar guard with a stick stuck in his mane.

"My name isn't Sticky. it's Night Watcher" the stallion replied

"Well I'm gonna keep calling you Sticky let's go" William said as he left the park with the male Lunar guards in tow only leaving Celestia , Luna and Ebony at the park with the nearby ponies.

Celestia seemed to be pondering about something when William was away.

"Sister what has gotten thine mind so occupied" Luna asked her sister

"Nothing much sister just the amount of magic needed for his previous little display has kept me thinking. Especially after twilight her notes contradict his ability to display such feats of magic"Celestia said calmly

"What does thou think about it sister, it seems to trouble thine mind" Luna replied
"It is nothing to worry about sister just the amount of magic needed was a lot and without something to concentrate his magic it must have been something akin to a spirit their abilities but he bears no I'll will but from what My student send me about hearing a voice when checking up upon him I worry for this unknown quantity tethered to him" Celestia replied nervously

"Thou worries to much sister thou saw that our new friend holds no hostilities and has nice physical aspects or art thou jealous they prefer me" Luna said blushing slightly

"No sister I am happy that our new friend likes you , just remember this isn't old times so if you wish to join a herd nothing is stopping you" Celestia said teasingly causing Luna to have a wing boner

"Thour intent is nice but our stallion friend didn't see my advances" Luna said her ears turning backwards in slight sadness.

"Oh dear sister thou forgets his knowledge of Equestria is limited and he probably doesn't know pony body language, Now let's enjoy some time with our subjects maybe visit my student. I mean how much trouble can 6 stallions get into." Celestia said as Luna and her went to enjoy pony ville.

Meanwhile with William

"Hmm so guys are you up for a bar some drinking chilling. Maybe a little talk about Mares" William said teasing the 5 lunar guards with him

Sticky just laughs "Sure maybe this isn't the worst duty we can have , alright Willy" the stallion smiling as he took the lead to a bar in Ponyville as they approach they notice a female griffon with white feathers being thrown out this caused the guards to stop "Maybe it isn't a good idea it takes a lot to have some pony thrown out" one guard pony said

"Awe come on it's not like a little conflict is going to scare us right , I thought Lunar guard had some guts" William said teasing them

"We thought of staying away for your sake most stallions aren't good near conflict" sticky replied

"Conflict someone being thrown out a bar wow this world has different consideration of conflict , I know you ponies are all harmonious and loving but come on" William walked in the bar and noticed a gloomy atmosphere and some ponies near a broken record player making pouty faces

"Uhm what happened to make you ponies so sad?" William asked as the lunar guards entered after him

The bartending mare stepped to the lunar guards "I'd like to file a complaint of damaging of property and pestering of stallions by a griffon."

The lunar guards sighed and started talking to the bar mare doing the normal procedures. while William stepped to what seems to be a broken record player "Wow this is antique in my world , does anypony mind if I take a look at it" William said standing near the record player

"Antique this is the newest model from Canterlot I specially had it ordered so we could play music here while the band takes a break so would you be a nice dearie and don't touch it , it very complex" the bar mare replied before returning to the lunar guards to finish filling a complaint against the griffon from before

"Looks like those old record players , one of the earliest models" William said while he opens it and sees the locking spring for the crankshaft and internal spring for the rotor are not the way they should be. William puts the locking spring back in place and bends the internal spring for the rotor as good as he can before being pulled out by the barmare

"What do you think you're doing dearie , you should let mares handle this sort of thing" the bar mare said to William as if talking to a wallflower causing William to sigh and just crank the player as it start playing music and have the bar mare a cheeky smile this caused the bar it's patrons to look confused at first but then smile as they continued with their drinks

"Sorry for fixing it but I can't just see all those pouty faces now if I can help it can I?" William said looking at the lunar guards

"William you shouldn't have touched it , the griffon should have been held accountable for the damage to it" Sticky said with a frown

"What damage to two springs , I can say what was broken if it helps but can't we just have a drink , oh right don't have bits on me. Ugh" William sighed

"Wait you fixed it , I could pay you for it, but where did a stallion learn to fix things as complex as a record player" the bar mare asked

"William isn't from around here , we are assigned to guard and keep him entertained by the princesses and keep him out of trouble if we can" a lunar guard said

"Ooh that explains it well if it is any help you six can drink on the house, since the repair of it would have cost a lot of bits too" the bar mare replied smiling

"No need to go that far I mean I listen to it too also I'd advise letting me make sure the internal spring is bent back with machinery or good tools later .I have equipment at home that could do the trick." William said smiling

"No I won't have it you and your friends drink on the house and besides a stallion with your attire must be rather busy so you probably won't have any time to check on the record player later right?" the bar mare asked William

"Well I recently adopted a filly and have some work tomorrow not to mention pinkie is probably planning a welcome to Ponyville party for me but I don't mind" William said smiling

"Ooh so Pinkie is planning your party no wonder she asked the mayor to use town square?" The bar mare said smiling

"Wait townsquare, oh sweet Celestia" William said in shock before sitting down

"Need a drink to get the edge of dearie?"

"Hey don't forget about us Will" sticky said as the lunar guard sit down near William

"Well I want vodka and well give the lads what they want" William said

"Coming right up , so where did a stallion dressed so finely learn how to fix things? Don't you have mares in a herd that work for you or do you swing the other way?" The bar mare asked while pouring out the drinks

"Oh well I'm rooting for a relationship with a certain mare and no I'm not gay not that I think less of those who are. Just that I'm not the type of man to let the mares do all the hard work it isn't how I was raised as for the fixing of stuff well I got along with some elderly of where I come from and they taught me a lot of useful skills. " William replied

"Ooh just one mare who is she?" Sticky asked smiling

"Well of course just one I'm from a monogamous species, polygamy is frowned upon where I'm from though if I could get more well I know a few mares that trickle my fancy though I really like Fluttershy if I were to have to stay monogamous" William replied blushing before drinking

"Oh so your species is monogamous, That's strange for a Minotaur then again you're smarter then any minotaur I met" the bar mare replied

"I'm no minotaur. I'm a human well I don't think I still fit that label because of the wings but I'm a species not from Equis and I ended up in Equis with my house and most of my stuff" William replied

"Well Willy a bit of advice learn pony social cues since Luna have you a good enough hint rubbing her tail against you" Sticky said causing the other lunar guards to laugh.

William just looked at the lunar guards as if they were pulling his leg but they gave William such a big grin while nodding causing William to remember some rule 34 drawings of Luna causing a wing boner

This caused the lunar guards to laugh and tease William a bit. The bar mare just smiled at the stallions having their fun.

"You guys can't be serious what would a princess see in the stranger like me" William replied

"Well after seeing how you hit Sticky out of the air with a rubber ball, the hole killing a dire wolf thing doesn't seem so unbelievable. So maybe she likes that you act like a stallion of old" a lunar guard said smiling

"My name isn't Sticky!" Night Watcher complained

"Sorry that nickname is gonna stick but at least it isn't a bad nickname" William said teasing the guard giving him a soft nudge

"You stallions seem pretty chummy" the bar mare asked

"We got asked to accompany Willy here, he's a little rough for a stallion but he ain't bad at least he can handle more then most stallion which is good because of our job and well diet"Night Watcher replied

" Right bat ponies drink blood or eat meat" the bar mare said nervously

"Hey diet, race, age or gender shouldn't matter one bucking bit just personality is all that counts" William replied

"William keep your swearing low we wouldn't wanna have to drag you off for making other stallions uncomfortable" a Lunar guard said staring at him

"It's alright , I get the gist of things. He is well a mare like stallion" the bar mare replied smiling

"Yes finally some pony who gets it without any issues" William said smiling as he downed his drink

"But Willy you seemed embarrassed when we told you our princess likes you doesn't that effect your preference." Sticky said before downing his drink

"Honestly it only makes it harder. Imagine multiple wonderful characters of your favourite tales about a world you see as nothing but fiction and suddenly ending up in that world. And interacting with those characters. I mean sweet Celestia. It makes it hard as hell" William admitted while taking a big swig of his drink.

"Oh that's uhm a strange situation to find yourself in but then why not attempt at making a herd"Night watcher said causing William to spit out his drink and go into a coughing fit.

"Please change the subject. Or Luna will have to deal with embarrassing dreams of mine I'd rather not have anypony see. I mean fantasizing and doing something are two different things especially for a monogamously raised species." William replied still coughing "Plus if I did get in a herd with Luna I'd have to deal with BlueBalls." William said his words dripping with irritation.

"Hmm so your knowledge doesn't consist of just the past." A guard pony noted

"Well stuck up useless noble like him probably is known as the laughingstock ending at the tales it joke. Right Willy"Night Watcher said.

"No he was sparsely mentioned but let's just say he is unanimously hated but I won't go into that since it probably hasn't happened yet but it made us learn enough" William replied as his glass was being refiled.

"Oh yes. Hell there is even a song but not sure if it even fits or if it means anything in your past so I better not" William said looking at the guard ponies who have him the cute big eyed begging look. That combined with the alcohol made it hard to deny the request but he sighs and looks at them. "Maybe when I figure out not to cause weird magic things to happen." William replied

"Awe come on where is the tough timberwolf slayer?" A guard said jokingly.

"He is afraid of causing a scene or strange events like he did with another song he sang so not today and not here." William replied.

"Well I think he is smart I mean he doesn't tempt fate like you private." Night Watcher replied.

After an hour of drinking and talking with his new friends, aswell as some dancing William was about to get a little surprise

"There you are" A beautiful yellow pegasus mare said as she heads to William
"You made everypony very worried when you left the park like that William" Fluttershy said sternly looking at William

"I... I" William tried to reply to Fluttershy but seeing the normally cute and shy mare act sternly made William feel like a villain.

"Oh is seems like you made Fluttershy worry not a good attempt at getting her attention" the bar mare said teasingly

"Wait what" Fluttershy was confused about what the bar mare said. William just hid his face using his wings knowing what was about to happen

"We will leave this to you Willy also remember what we talked about. " Night Watcher said as he and the other Lunar guards left the bar.

traitor's William thought as the stallions left William in this situation

"Oh yes you see those guards leaving , they well were joking and laughing and talking about mares they liked. You're little runaway stallion who honestly is a nice pony was talking with his friends about mares they liked. And it seems you got an admirer but also competition" the bar mare said smiling

Fluttershy was embarrassed and looked at William "You think I'm pretty?" Fluttershy asked William who just blushed and nodded before hiding himself some pony , someone get me away from here this is embarrassing. And why does the bartender have to tell her William thought but got surprised as Fluttershy grabbed his hand and softly guided him out of the bar

"Are you alright now you were hiding yourself?" Fluttershy asked caringly still flustered from what the bar mare said.

"I feel embarrassed... I wanna hide and my trust in bartenders is gone." William replied from under his wings.

"Its alright, also next time you go out with fellow stallions please warn us you made so many worry, if it wasn't for the princesses telling us when they came to visit , we'd have no idea where you were. So next time tell us please. I wouldn't want you to get hurt" She said in her soft cute voice

"Thank you Fluttershy. Could you maybe forget what the bar mare said about you know" William said nervously

"Ooh don't you like me?" Fluttershy said sad as her ears drooped backwards

"No no it's not that , please don't be sad. I do like you , I mean you're beautiful caring loving. Good with animals. Have a beautiful voice. Are so cute that making you worried or pout or hurt in anyway makes me feel worse then wendigo's or king Sombra." William replied hiding his face.

"Oh no , I didn't mean to make you feel sad or mad" Fluttershy said in her soft beautiful caring voice trying to sooth William

"That doesn't help, Fluttershy I mean it's because you are such a sweet mare that it making you sad or disappointed really pulls at my heart strings" William said while looking at Fluttershy from under his wings still trying to hide his face from his favorite pony

Fluttershy blushed then shyly hid behind her mane "we better get going Pinkie did her best for your party" Fluttershy said softly trying to change the subject

William just nodded nervously "Yes, also sorry for making you worry." William said as Fluttershy started to guide him to the town square still hiding her face and shyly playing with her mane as they saw the town square in the distance many ponies could be seen as well as tents and party decoration.
"Isn't that a bit too much. I am nopony important" William said as he looked at the extravagant display he saw from the distance and a giant banner with Welcome to Equis William written on it in bright orange.

"Don't you like it?" Fluttershy asked William worryingly

"It's not that , I'd expect such a event for some pony important not the strange alien being that appeared in the ever free" William replied calmly "plus I preferred something smaller I am not used to big parties"William said as he followed Fluttershy leading him to town square closer to place where the party is supposed to be but he didn't see any pony.

"It's alright , I understand if you're not used to things but Pinkie really wanted to throw you a party" Fluttershy said as she and William entered a big tent at the center of town square.

Before William could ask Fluttershy why everything was so quiet , what can only be guessed as magical or gas lamp lights flicked on in the tent when William heard a ton of ponies shout "Surprise!".
William jumped in shock as the lights turned on he was met with a cannon aimed at him with Pinkie pie behind it firing confetti at William from a close range causing William to fall down in shock his heart beating like crazy. This caused every pony to hasp and worry.

" William!!!" Fluttershy rushed to him worried as scoots quickly joined by her side.

"I'm sorry I thought since you survived the hole dragon and ruins part you'd be alright" Scoots whimpered near William

"Hi sorry , I am dad" William said with a smirk as he noticed he was unscathed and wanted to defuse the situation.

"Haha he surprised us at his own party that is surpriseception." Pinkie said laughing

"Not cool bro" Rd said angrily

"Don't you ever pull a stunt like that ever again" Fluttershy said looking worried at William

Scoots just kicked William as she cried a little but William pulled her in a wing hug.

"OK maybe it wasn't the best joke, but hey Its not everyday I get shot by a cannon at my face" William replied with a smile "besides I wanted to make a dad joke all day when I saw scoots so every pony I hope it doesn't DAUGHTER you to much" William said laughing before noticing a little scoots tugging at his clothes looking at him with a mixed emotions

"Don't you ever pull a prank like that again, I was worried" scoots said looking up at William with teary eyes causing William to stand up while holding scoots in a wing hug.

"Don't worry my little whirlwind , I won't pull bad jokes but I will make dad jokes" William said as he dried her tears

"You promise?" Scoots said looking at William.

William smiles at scoots and said
"Cross my heart and hope fly. Stick a cupcake in my eye." While doing the gesture's he remembered from the show. Causing Pinkie to appear next to them with a big cartoony grin

"Wow you didn't have to Pinkie promise it" scoots said as she gave William a playful nudge

William just laughs "Well I don't want my little filly to worry so I made a promise I won't break so no more bad jokes but I will make dad jokes. Now go have fun with your friends Scoots." William said as he ruffled through her mane.

Scoots ran off to play with other younger fillies and colts at the party.

"Now maybe you should apologise to the others for disappearing out of the blue and your bad joke from before ,if you want to." Fluttershy said to William as the rest of the Main 6 got closer to them.

"Honestly I did think that cannon would kill me since being shot by a cannon where I am from is an easy ticket to the hospital or worse. When I figured out I was unharmed I tried to defuse the situation with humour" William said embarrassed.

"What no way, you got the guts to go against a dragon. Kill a Timberwolf but you're scarred from a party canon" Rd said in disbelief

"Oh poor Dear , so you really were scared" Fluttershy said in her caring lovely soft-voiced tone as she hugged him trying to make him feel better.

"He ain't lying, but why did ya joke something like that off partner?" AJ asked worryingly.

"To keep up face , I mean I don't want to test how magic changed me and well I didn't want to be pampered like a wallflower. Different gender laws and expectations are a pain so better to be seen as an ass then a weak wallflower" William replied

"Darling you don't need to act so though a gentle colt like you shouldn't push themselves so far" Rarity said as she was cleaning William his clothes and hair which got a little dirty from the whole canon debacle.

"Though I agree with everypony that you shouldn't act so tough, I understand that you're raised differently still if your worlds lack of magic left you so weak then you changing so rapidly in only one day is an interesting growth speed , I'd also like to do some other physical research if you notice any changes since you honestly deny any sense according to previous readings and I want more detailed data and research you. All safely of course. Not to mention the readings came out low hmm maybe magic deficiency is your species default state. Oh I can't just wait to get researching this" twilight said giddy like a foal wanting to find out more about William

"Twilight, he can't do that he has studies with you , Scootaloo to take care of , books from his boney friend to read , and advisor job for the princesses using his people their knowledge. And when he has his head wrapped around that Willy Nilly here wants to make a company. So he is going to be a busy pony." Pinkie said all in one breath causing William to just look confused.

"Don't forget he will need to learn how to fly too and get his wings in shape since they look a little weak compared to the rest of his body" Rd added to the conversation.

"Darlings don't you think this is to much for one stallion who hasn't been here for so long" Rarity replied causing her friends to nod.

"First things pony things like how to raise a foal, grooming of wings, history, magic, pony body language since I'm oblivious to it. Second would be well my advisory position which won't be hard just ensuring ponykind doesn't make the same mistakes as my own kind, And third will be my company but that is just well something small I hope." William replied scratching his neck "But first I'll get a drink since well a party isn't the place for talk like this" he said as he started to look for something to drink. William quickly found the heavy alcoholic beverages and took a bottle Sweet Apple Acres Heavy Apple cider "Well better then nothing" William said before walking back to the main 6 already drinking a bit from the bottle.

"Darling please show some restraint such a drink might be to much for you" Rarity said worryingly

"Not really its really sweet and tasty but not too sugary" William replied trying to get used to the beverage

"She ment the alcohol partner" Aj replied calmly as she pointed to the bottle

"Pfft I can handle a drink, I mean I get drunk easily but nothing to bad only once got to hammered to do anything at that was one new years eve but I won't go into that also it's sort of my welcome party so why shouldn't I have a little fun. I mean I don't get violent when I drunk I just... I... well.. just become a party animal since I don't get embarrassed or shy then as for what happens afterwards Thats future William's problem." William replied as he drank a lot more of the bottle chugging half of it down.

"No that's more then enough to drink for you, you already drank at that bar I found you in so please for me don't drink to much , I wouldn't want you to become sick" Fluttershy said looking at William with her soft voice and her big cute eyes.

"Being that cute and sweet should be forbidden. I mean by Luna her Moon you could make the most heartless cruel people from my world stop with that alone, but fine I'll keep drinking to a minimum." William said as he hands her the bottle as he thinks I shouldn't have told her how disappointing her makes me feel or how cute and sweet she looks to me since she is using it against me now. My poor heart can't stand those big beautiful eyes and that soft kind voice

"Ooh looks like somepony likes Fluttershy" Rd said nudging William

"I didn't know you liked those types of mares Darling but isn't it too early to think of forming a herd" Rarity said smiling towards William and Fluttershy. Causing Fluttershy to hide her face but William didn't he just looked at the main 6 as he lit a cigarette

"Well I don't know what you mean with types but yes she is a wonderful mare but forgive me on the herd part since I am from a monogamous species I got no clue about herds. Being always taught that having more then one girl is bad well you can see the issue. And I'd never want to hurt anyone by not knowing how to handle a herd or how one acts in one so honestly, it is hard to grasp and not knowing pony body language makes it harder and I had this conversation earlier so please drop it." William said calmly as he smoked

"Now I wish I took my notebook with me so I could write this down" Twilight whined a bit

"Oh no you don't twilight this is a party, you know fun unwinding. Hmm thinking about that" William smirked a bit then whispered something to Pinkie Pie who smiled and then she ran off like a pink blur.

"What did you ask her darling?" Rarity asked as her remaining friends looked at William eager for him to reply.

"Oh you will see let's just say I'm tipsy enough to not be bothered by well a stunt I'm going to pull so I asked Pinkie to get something." William said smiling

Before the mares could ask what William asked Pinkie William was brought to vinyl scratch by a pink blur.

"Yo. Look if it isn't the Alien guest." Vinyl said then Pinkie whispered something into Vinyl her ear.

"Alright the reason for this party is going to play something from where he comes from, so big applause for my assistant DJ for the night William" Vinyl shouted causing everypony at the party to once again look at William.

"Thanks Vinyl, now first I got to apologize for the bad joke from before. Now I'm gonna put on a song from my world for the foals also I'm sorry it's a catchy song made for a movie back where I come from." William said smiling as he connected his phone to Vinyl her DJ table and started playing the Lego movie Two catchy song. William quickly noticed foals and mature ponies dancing and singing along and jumped into the crowd dancing along causing the main 6 to laugh as well as two guests at the party who were in disguise. After the song William took his phone back "Now sorry everypony for not singing along last time I sang well most of you who were at the park can recall also vinyl nice try saying I'll be assistant Dj but this Stallion isn't used to Equis enough maybe another time. Have a great evening everypony oh and keep Miss. Heartstrings away from me for now cause I can see her driving Bon Bon crazy from here" William said as he and Pinkie pie went back to the rest of the main 6. While he returned to the rest of the main 6 Bon Bon could be seen holding Lyra back talking to her luckily it was to far from William to be heard since if the Crazy human obsessed unicorn could get close to him he'd be stuck with a lot of questions he's unwilling to answer at this time.

"It was nice seeing you dance with the foals and other ponies , I thought you said you aren't used to parties" Fluttershy said softly as William and Pinkie approached

"You see I'm mostly to embarrassed to go into the spotlight luckily alcohol makes me a bit less self conscious." William said smiling at Fluttershy.

"That was fun Willy do you have other songs on that strange device. Also smart keeping Lyra away she'd probably ask on and on and drive you insane" Pinkie said happily

"I do but you know foals and if I start singing along with heart and soul I might cause something I am not going to be able to handle." William said laughing at the possibilities.

"Oh what sort of song could that be darling" Rarity said teasingly with a big smirk.

"Now calm down sugar cube ye don't want our friend here to be too embarrassed when he is completely sober, or do you want him to roll in the hay with somepony by accident" AppleJack said to Rarity. While William nervously took a soda to try and evade the topic

"Come on there is no way a song can cause that also it isn't the time of the estrous cycle yet." Rd said bluntly this caused William to spit out his soda and cough.

"Did.. I hear that correctly? Estrous cycles?" William said in disbelief and shock.

"It's alright If you find it an embarrassing subject" Fluttershy said putting her hand on William his shoulder. This caused Rainbow Dash to just laugh

"Sorry I thought somepony like you wouldn't be so easily embarrassed by something so commonly known"Rd said laughing.

" Now Rainbow Darling, no need to make him uncomfortable maybe he is from a culture where such things aren't as openly discussed or would be seen as bad manners" Rarity calmly stated in her ladylike voice.

"Still he better get used to it." Aj said "Have ye ever rolled in the hay with a special somepony partner?" Aj asked looking at William causing him to just stand there trying to process how such subject of conversation was being passed around so bluntly causing him to blush.

"I wonder what period of estrous your species has if you don't mind telling that is its for research." Twilight said blushing at Will his reaction towards the subject.

Fluttershy was still patting William his back this snapped him back to reality after the shock about the subject "Well human males can always get sexually active of course if they are of the age to do so." William said as he started to hide his face with his wings. Dancing and being in the spotlight is one thing but this subject is weird to talk about especially at a party where there are foals nearby.

Fluttershy made an embarrassed squeak as she heard what William said

"So you can always get ready for the hay bale tango?" Rd asked with a big teasing smirk.

"... Yes same for the females of my species , we don't have estrous cycles we just need to get turned on and of course they need to be of the right age and also not already pregnant" William said before closing off entirely behind his wings but what he said made some of the main 6 giggle and some blush. Only William and fluttershy right now were trying to hide themselves from the strange situation.

"Alright girls we better stop the subject before Willy and Fluttershy both run from the party. So why not enjoy some of the party it's food" Pinkie said as she took a chocolate cake out of nowhere which looked more like a work of art then food.

"I don't think you can pull some earl grey tea out of nowhere to enjoy with the cake?" William said as he thought Yeah like that is gonna work, I mean not like I can make Pinkie pull things out of nowhere. William was quickly surprised when the pink mare pulled out a tea set out of nowhere and some cups. "Wow I stand corrected." William said looking in shock as he took a cup and poured it out "Do any of you ponies want any?" William asked smiling.

"I'd like some if it isn't too much to ask"Fluttershy said still hiding behind her mane. William quickly poured a cup for her.

"Yes thank you darling I'd love some, still darling I thought you couldn't handle Pinkie Pie " Rarity said smiling.

"I sometimes can be impulsive and a party boy but well I need to have had enough liquid pride for that as for handling her. She isn't something I can't handle more like depending on my own mood and I noticed she kept herself calmer then normally and told the guests I do not handle some things well otherwise I imagine many ponies running to where I am just to say hi and overwhelming me with questions. As for her strange antics which deny the very rules of existence it's funny at times but infuriating to understand so I just don't think about how it works. Because of personal unexplainable phenomena in my own personal experience even before I came to Equis it makes it easier to just accept things like her Pinkie sense and her other abilities" William said as he poored his own cup and noticed Fluttershy sitting near him drinking her own cup this caused William to be a little embarrassed.

"What sort of unexplained phenomena?" Twilight asked eagerly only to get a sigh from William.

"Listen Twi if I were to tell you I'd sound like a mad pony besides I only ever discussed it with family members it's something personal and weird" William replied as he continued drinking.

"Uhm can I ask you something ... Like do you like Uhm Animals?" Fluttershy asked causing William to smile.

"Honestly I really do never expected the first animal to ever bite or show violence to me would be mythical creatures like the Timberwolf or Manticore. I normally have no issues with animals and can pet and play with any animal." William said while thinking of his youth walking shelter dogs, having strange animals on the street just rush to him wanting to be petted. Then he started thinking out loud"Now that I think about it I don't understand why animals never showed me any hostility back home even the Horse at my uncle's farm which almost bit his fingers of and was deemed unsafe by him well she was a kind one." Thinking this out loud made the mares look at him in shock. "Oh wait they are not conscience like here remember. Honestly, they were intelligent for an animal but no speech. I am making this weird ain't I?"

"So equines in your world aren't intelligent and incapable of speech. Though I'd advice you keep things like that to yourself unless of course during research" Twilight said as she awkwardly kicked her hoof.

"Well I could show you a picture I mean you ponies look different from her" William said as he took out his phone and what seemed like a picture of 12 year old young human with black hair and blue eyes with a black horse pushing her nuzzle near at the little boy lowering itself slightly to snuggle the young boy.

"Is that, it looks like one of our ancient evolutionary relatives even if slightly different. She seemed to like you a lot and you were adorable as a foal." Twi said smiling at the picture, the other mares had a few mixed feelings towards what they saw.

"No offense partner but it seems pretty weird to see that" Aj said readjusting her Stetson.

"No offense taken I mean I'd also find it weird if I were in your shoes.. Horseshoes ... Hooves uhm forget it trying to guess equine expression is hard." William said while scratching his neck.

"I think it's rather adorable darling." Rarity said as she Nuzzled at William causing Fluttershy to nuzzle him too.

"I hope you don't mind the contact do you us ponies like to cuddle and nuzzle to show affection it's alright if you want us to stop" Fluttershy said looking at William with her beautiful blue eyes.

William just smiled and have Fluttershy ear scratches "Now why would I want you to stop it's rather adorable and warm. I hope I'm not making you uncomfortable." William said with a big smile at the slightly embarrassed mare.

"I'm not used to receiving ear scratches though I give them a lot to my pets and your hands and warm and it feels nice." Fluttershy said softly as he Nuzzled against William her hand enjoying the ear scratches.

"Darling don't give Fluttershy all the attention." Rarity said looking at William with a big teasing smile. "Think of the other mares as well"

"Sorry Rarity only got two hands and there is still tea to finish." William said with a smirk

"Awe sounds like somepony is jealous from being left out" Pinkie said teasing Rarity "Willy nilly you better give us all ear scratches too."Pinkie said with a giant grin.

"Yeah I don't need some cuddly stallion being clingy, No offense William but at least you're acting a bit like a stallion. And you better be a good dad to Scoots." Rainbow said looking at William sternly.

"Don't worry I'm going to try my best ,as for me acting like a stallion it's just cuddles and ear scratches right not like I am breaking a taboo I hope" He said as he still scratches behind Fluttershy her ears the kind mare being a cuddly happy putty in his hand.

"Darling you should know it never stays at just that" Rarity said teasingly causing William to blush and ignore the remark further

While William and the main 6 continued having their fun with talks and the occasional pony ville local asking William about himself and humanity, Scoots and the other foals at the party were playing around until the dead of night. Then when most of the foals were off to bed both Aj and Rd became a little competitive in their drinking.

"Ye really think ye can hold cider better then me Dash proof it." Aj said challenging dash.

"Now Darlings maybe this isn't a good idea" Rarity exclaimed.

"Oh you are on" Rainbow said ignoring Rarity her plea.

"Hey Rarity it's ok what's a good party with beverages without a little drinking challenge , I wish I could join but Yellow cute and overbearing wouldn't probably let me." William said sighing.

"No offense partner but ye probably would need to go to nurse red heart afterwards" Aj said looking at William.

"Oh, that sounds like a challenge!" William smirked "Fluttershy sorry but I'm gonna show these mares that I can handle my drink but if something happens uhm keep me away for Twilight her custody. I trust you completely but Twilight would probably wire me up and run tests" William said laughing

"Uhm... I am not sure if that is the safest thing to do but if you really want to. Well just this once but if it gets to much I'm taking you and scoots to your home calling red Heart and keeping an eye on you." Fluttershy said with a very worried expression.

"Wait Darling you can't be serious?" Rarity looked at William in shock.

"Actually I am worst case scenario I get hammered and pampered by the only pony who I know is to kind and sweet to do anything to me in a drunken stupor state and I get her lovely company or I proof you mares I can drink and maybe make a point." William said smiling

"I know you think you're tough Willy but you don't really think you can beat me' Rainbow dash said bragging her chest puffing up while she brags.

"Oh I do. Also one rule none of the weak stuff no building up get the hardest hitters" William said smiling.

Pinkie came with the heavy cider William drank before and started pouring glasses

"Wait this is the hardest drink for our competition. Oh this will be easy" William said laughing.

"Don't ye get any high hopes partner" Aj said as she readjusted her Stetson as she then downed her drink.

"You can still chicken out since I'll still think you're an awesome stallion even if you can't beat me" Rd said boasting as she downed her drink.

"Now now remember mares I'm not from Equis and honestly" William drank his drink and then continued talking "this drink isn't that bad. I mean I'm used to stronger, maybe I should look into what griffons and minotaurs drink or maybe dragons." William said as Pinkie refilled the glasses.

"I'll make ye swallow those words partner" Aj replied while finishing another drink in one go.

"It's cool you are tough in some places but I wouldn't want you to harm yourself trying to impress us. Besides minotaur and griffon drinks are too bitter even most mares." Rainbow said as she looked at William while finishing her drink.

"Might be the case but I ain't a pony and I probably have more in common with a minotaur then I do with ponies. Or at least i think so I got only myths to go on and the few tales of Equis" William said before downing his drink in one go.

"Ye are good at holding yer drink partner but me and Dash don't give up easily"Aj drank another glass

"Yeah don't think we will go easy on you" Rd said boasting.

"Girl's i can handle this seriously i could finish a bottle without an issue I just don't wanna be seen as a "William says as thinks how to explain the ponies what sort of image he would rather avoid" Hmm Berry Punch is maybe a good example with her wine." He replies calmly drinking another glass

After many more drinks

William drank both Aj and Rd under the table but as he got off his chair he was walking wobbly "Uhm Twilight how close can you maybe teleport me to my home, since me and scoots need to get home and I am not driving my car in this state or will be able to walk home like this." William said almost falling over his words.

"I knew this was a bad idea. I could get you and scoots near the door but I'm not leaving you in that state alone. Fluttershy go get Angel me and spike will take care of your animal friends for the night." Twilight replied sighing at the display in front of her

"You beat Rainbow Dash cool." Scoots said at her for the moment bad excuse of a father figure.

"Not cool , little whirlwind. Drinking isn't cool. It's fun but don't think it's cool." William said to scoots at his current best attempt to discourage the behaviour he showed.

"Thank you Twilight. I'll go get Angel and then head to his house." Fluttershy said as she went off to get Angel bunny

"William Darling please don't make this something common" rarity said looking at the Human now using a table to support himself.

"Don't worry I just wanted to show you mares I can handle more then you think though maybe it wasn't the best example and definitely not the best roll model for scoots but I just let myself go a little" William replied before Twi teleported Scoots and William to his house.

"Wow! I'm gonna life in that in the ever free Forest that is so cool" Scoots said looking at her new home.

"You have seen it already why such a response, I don't get what's cool about it but I do have a room for you. I mean it has 3 bedrooms and a guest room so if your friends ever come and visit they can but there will be a few rules but we will make those up tomorrow" William replied smiling at Scoots and ruffled through her mane as he walked wobbly to the door and had to support against the wall

"The timberwolf killer returns. And reeking of alcohol with a foal I hope this won't happen all the time" Ebony said as she landed near William and scoots.

"No it won't now why don't we all go inside its getting a bit to late to stay outside for my taste especially in my current state" William said as he opened unlocked his house and turned of its security system.
Scoots and Ebony rushed inside since it was quickly getting cold.

William walked in his house enjoying the warmth as he steps to the cupboard and takes out some snacks and a big bottle of cola and takes a few glasses. "How about some soda and snacks, I can't really make a big welcome in your new home party for Scoots but I hope some snacks and soda will do until I can prepare something" William said as he set the table in the living room and then sat down in the sofa.

"I like soda but are you sure it's safe for me since it was made for your kind" Scoots asked.

"Well just high amounts of sugar and some caffeine don't worry." William replied smiling as Scoots rushed to fill her own glass causing him to laugh.

"She already seems to feel at home" Ebony commented

"Well it is her home now so I hope she likes it" William said as he poored himself a glass of cola and got up "Scoots one rule don't go into that room there" William said pointing to his workshop with his tools and equipment" and before taking certain things ask me I wouldn't want you to get hurt now I'll show you your room" William walked to the door next to his bedroom door "I sleep in the room next to you so if you're scared or anything I am nearby and well since you're officially my daughter if it gets too scary I got a big bed." Scoots followed William then rushed into what William said was her room she notices a big two person bed TV and a Computer some bland walls and night stand with a nightlight and looks at William "what about the stuff in here that strange contraptions don't you want them back" Scoots replied looking confused at William

"Well I honestly don't need them I got my own and its best to give it to somepony who can use it also those weird contraptions are partly useless well the TV well except for games and what your old man has of cartoons but yeah. The other contraption can be useful but I'll teach you later. Hmm maybe I should show something off at your school when I have to bring you tomorrow. I imagine ponies have radios right?" William asked scoots

"We do but what are you planning?" Scoots asked confused

"Well some special ponies will visit me tomorrow I might as well show off my kinds technical knowledge with something fun for you kids at school" William said smiling at Scoots as he ruffled her mane "Also my little whirlwind we need to let you decorate your own room maybe get some posters for you or picture's. Any paint colour you want also move your old stuff here later on" William said as he smiled at the now exited filly who was jumping on the for her way to big bed"

"Thank you ... Dad" Scoots said worryingly at her choice of words.

"Me a dad wow I would never have guessed but in all seriousness Scoots don't push yourself into calling me that it probably takes time for you to get used to it all you can call me Dad but only when it doesn't Daughter you" William said as he went through Scoots her mane

"Thank you" Scoots said hugging William crying a little ignoring him reusing the same pun

"Hey I'll try and give you the best life I can but sorry If you got stuck with a weird stallion like me as a Dad" he said hugging her close lifting her up "Now why don't we head back to the living room. I know its school tomorrow for you but we still have guests and are expecting an overly worried mare and a bunny visiting us because of my little indulgence of tonight and you're acting a bit more snuggly and clingy compared to the tough adventure loving filly I thought you were" William said looking at Scoots as he held her in a hug. Scoots just stuck out her tongue as she was carried back into the living room.

"Seems like you and your new filly are getting along" Ebony said smiling at William carrying Scoots.

"Well she isn't a hand or well hoof full. I guess she is tired from the dancing and playing with her friends at the party. So after Flutters is here and I've both assigned you a bed room I'm probably going to hit the hay. Talking about Fluttershy I'm worried. Everfree at this hour isn't safe" William put Scoots down and went to a drawer in the kitchen to take some lighter fuel and matches then hands it to Ebony

"What am I supposed to do with this stuff?" Ebony asked confused

"That metal uhm fuel can has a flammable substance in it if a problem arises since you can fly just sprinkle it over the pest in the forest and then use a match" William says as he takes a cigarette and lights it with a match to show how matches work.

"That is harsh and cruel" Ebony replied in shock

"Well I do live in this forest not like I can magically move my home and besides it will scare them off only creature its deadly too would be Timberwolves considering they are made of wood." William replied with a wise as smirk

"I never saw you for the let others do your fighting type" Ebony replied

"If I can hardly stand I'm not risking getting burned or the usage of well some of my electronic tools I have here. Now go and look for ..." William got interrupted by someone knocking. "Or not, The door is open!" As he said so Fluttershy walked in holding Angel close

"I hope I did make you worry to much. Angel was being grumpy for being awoken from his nap and wasn't happy about having to come here." Fluttershy said calmly while Angel just jumped out of her arms and jumped towards William stamping and being pouty

"Oh I know. Angel I know it was her idea to come here you know how she can be don't worry I got something you might enjoy" William said as he got up and walked to the fridge in his drunken stupor to take out two carrots and as he walked back he fell right on his ass."Maybe I should head to bed but I still can't shake this strange feeling something is wrong. I'll lock the door for the night. You mares do what you want just no snooping in my workshop room or touching anything you don't understand. I can't fix everything in this house. But feel free to plunder the fridge or enjoy my books." William said as he stumbled to lock the door but couldn't get further then the sofa on his way to his room and just fell asleep there.

Sorry for inactivity I have been busy lately I hope this chapter is enjoyed by many also. I hope it doesn't stand out to much but I wrote this on my new phone. Sorry no Christmas or heart and hooves day special. I had one planned but I lost the text files.

Still got no editor but hey I just write for fun if anypony wants to edit they can tell me so. And next chapter when it comes out will be either clop or slice of life depending on my motivation ofc the clop would be a dream which dear God poor Luna if she finds that sort of dream but hey that's all folks
