Chapter One: Apples are Forever
Alcohol in Ponyville has been a topic less discussed after the arrival of the human. Regardless of their unknown relationship between other worlds, Showing them items and content beyond their friendly imagination was important, After alcohol became more convention. Bars begin to hold more customers as the tone of Ponyville had new spirits for them to enjoy.
One bar. Black Cider opened on the main lane of Ponyville as it held stallions and mares alike. All drinking for their enjoyment or suffering. The old wood that substituted as the floors and walls crept slightly each time somepony moved. The bar stools and booths were made of a smooth and well colored oak wood as the cushions were firmly set. A young man, around his twenties. Sat in a stool. Drinking a small glass of a dark drink. Heavy. He looks down into the drink as his sees his slight reflection in the wandering drink.
The Room was soon louder than usual at the arrival of some mares. A few stallions made some interesting whistles and calls as He turned his Gaze to see them, six mares. They enter in unison as they approach eagerly to the bar. Six sat near him as one simply caught his eye eagerly. As they mares sit on the stools. Their plots rest on the stools as each one had an, elegant mark on their rear.
Her Color pallet was a shade of yellow as her fur was beautiful and clean. Her man, softly gleaming as her eyes gleaming around. Beautiful and elegant, but there was a sense of a lifestyle that was rugged and tough. Admittedly he liked that about her. Even her cowgirl hat which was a clearly giveaway. But he didn’t take it into account. And this point he realized he’s been staring at this mare Way too long. It’s gotrwn creepy as he quickly looks back down. But someone spotted his interest in the mare. A blue one, he’s seen her around. Rainbow Dash was her name he believed. She saw his interest and poked the yellow mare.
“Hey, AJ, I think that guy likes you~”
The mare turns her head to see the human looking at his drink. Her eyes analyze him up and down as a slight blush arrives on her cheeks. AJ turns to Rainbow with a look of slight interest.
“Are Ya Sure? I don’t wanna look dumb in front of ‘em” she replies as Rainbow nods. Applejack finished her drink. Trying to use some liquid courage to motivate herself as she fixes her hat and trots over. Sitting on the stool next to him. She gives him a nice smile. One that melts him like butter. Her emerald green eyes gleam with a country love that’s infectious.
“Howdy~” She says so sweetly. A smile appears on his face as He smirks.
“Hey” he replies as his words are like music to her ears. A soft blink appears as he can’t help but get more interested.
“So, what’s your poison?” He asks. She thinks for a second.
“Red Apple Ale” she replies as he nods.
“Good choice, two Red Apple Ales” He asks the tender ad he nods. Heading to the wall of countless drinks.
“Sorry, I probably shouldn’t have been looking at you like that. My apologies Ma’am” He says as the look on her face is golden. She removes her hand and sits it on the counter.
“Ma’am? I don’t get called ma’am a lot I usually get called AJ” she speaks firmly to a sweet southern accent.
“So your Name isn’t AJ?” He asks as she shakes her head
“Nope, it’s Applejack, And yours?”
“Anonymous Or Anon for short”
“Cute name” she says as their drinks arrive. In wood mugs with metal rings holding them in place. They take them and sip. The cider has a tart taste to it. But a sweet apple aftertaste. I’m sure she has one too. The taste is invigorating as he can’t help but enjoy it.
“So, you’re the one from apple acres? Right?” He questions as she nods
“Eyup, mah family works on the farm. Hard work mostly in summer days on the end, You?”
“Me? I just work for Doctor Horse” he replies as he shows her his tag. A picture of him with a certified logo.
“You’re a Doctor?” She says, impressed. He nods as he gets a little personal.
“Yeah, it’s enjoyable. Well if you isn’t like blood, but if I am being honest, working on a sweet apple farm with. . .You” He says. Thinking to himself, that his words were stupid. He sighs and facepalms.
“I’m sorry that was stupid I shouldn’t have-“
“Well, that would be nice” She says, drinking more as she finishes her cider. He stops and looks at her, dumbfounded.
“It would? Thats, great~” The look of blush on her face as her buzz is getting higher. He chugs down his as her soft giggle makes him smile. She gives him a look with her beautiful green eyes.
“Another round?” He asks coyly as she nods. Not much time passes as they get to drinking together. The awkward barrier between human and mare slowly begins to crumble as their relationship builds to a sweet high.
After a Few Drinks and Laughs. The two are barely sitting right on the stools as the buzzed AJ slightly leans on Anon. Her cheeks red from her drunkenness as he laughs. His face showing his level of alcohol as the mares see how well they’re getting along. Rainbow dash smirks as she watches the two enjoy their night. Applejack seems to be a mare that can hold her liquor as well as any human.
“So, why don’t we, go to my place?” Applejack says as she snuggles up to Anon. Without much time between he answers
“Heh, sure.”
Anon slips out his wallet and pays for the drinks. He slides off his stool as AJ leads him out of the bar. Twilight watches as Rainbow sees them leave.
“Heh, she is gonna get, Fuuuuuuucked” Rainbow laughs. Seeing them go.
