It is suspicious to say the least.” Bolt replied. “I do have to tell you but the information broker was a ruse so we could capture you. However I did ask them not to give you such a hefty blow to the head…” he said, taking a look at the small mark on Baton’s upper neck. “I must ask the next mercenaries to be less aggressive.”

Looking at her captor who was opening a small compartment in the table he had brought in. Her eyes catching a small glimpse of a number of little potion bottles contained within. “So that’s it? You’re just going to torture me? What if I want to freely give up my information?” she asked.
“Well that’s no fun is it...and I do like having my fun.” Bolt replied, tapping a pointed claw at the potion bottle. “You can speak if you like, but I think you’ll enjoy this one just as much as me.” he said, that sly grin returning to his snout as he popped the stopper off the top. “Are you familiar with gaining?”

“I travel around, cities, towns. Wherever. I have always found information is power. That’s what I do, I gather as much information on the higher ups of the place as I can. “LIES. If that were the case you would have been killed long ago! Someone with that much information would have been taken out. You’ve had protection! You’re a spy!” he growled, pulling out another potion and hastily ripping the stopper out the top. “Just for that...another, to double your gain…”

And with that, he was gone. The whole ordeal had taken maybe ten minutes but Baton was still tied up and huge.
