That was usual day. Or maybe not usual day, but it doesn’t matter. Fluttershy – the Pegasus with yellow fur and long pink mane and with butterflies on the cutiemark - ran home as fast as she could. She ran through the streets of Ponyville, not noticing anything around. She wanted to quickly buy all the necessary products to feed all her animals, especially the harmful Angel Bunny. But suddenly, she was faced with a young stallion. He was the earth pony, who had dark gray fur with a black mane and a tie on the cutiemark, forcing him to drop the box he was carrying, scattering its contents.
"I'm sorry, sir, I d-didn't mean to, l-let me help you..," Fluttershy said in a trembling voice in shame.
After those words earth pony became more angry and rude.
"Help?! That’s enough of your help, you stupid girl! I dropped my box because of you idiots!" He started yelling at her, Fluttershy barely holding back tears. The cries of that earth pony were terrible and unbearable. And the worst part is that all this conflict is seen, but no one dared to intervene. Nobody cared about Fluttershy, while she thought it was even worse.
The yellow Pegasus had already wanted to run away sobbing, when suddenly she heard a familiar confident voice:
"Hey, who do you think you are to hurt her!? She did it accidentally!" The black Pegasus with white-blue mane exclaimed. "Go away you hear! Leave her alone!"
The earth pony had left, grumbling something under his breath. He must have remembered the unfinished business, and decided to do it, rather than continue to yell at Fluttershy and argue with this pony, who decided to stand up for her.
The shy pony came up to him and said timidly.
"Thank you so much for sticking up for me", Only now she recognized him, it was the love of her life, it was her old friend - Thunderlane, her heart beating at breakneck speed from this thought, "Thunderlane…"
"Come on, Fluttershy, that is nothing. It is good that pony went away so fast. Do you want to come home and have a cup of tea? "
From such a proposal, she was delighted and at the same time frightened, how CAN she go to visit this beautiful Pegasus, how CAN he love her? But she wanted to go home with him and talk with him...
"Well, if you don't mind, let's go..."
Thunderlane smiled.
"That's great, let's go!" He said.
"Oh, sweet princesses Celestia and Luna, what should I do? I've always wanted to go to his house, talk to him, but I'm so shy... He's beautiful... I'm so excited! Oh, why did I agree to that?" This question Fluttershy wondered all the way to the house of Thunderlane. Thunderlane saw that she was thinking of something else, but did not decide to ask. "Oh, no! We're here! With such thoughts they reached the house of Thunderlane.
"Here, come in, come in!" Thunderlane said, going on the kitchen.
Fluttershy timidly crossed the threshold of his house. Her heart began to beat even more when she entered his house. She could not believe that he was in his house, which was very cozy and bright. Fluttershy caught a glimpse of one of the windows. The view was amazing. All world was before your eyes. But Fluttershy was afraid of heights so she couldn't say that.
"Are you okay?" He asked from the kitchen.
"Sure, Thunderlane, sure." She broke away from the window, shook her head and answered. He flow to the kitchen where the black Pegasus tried find some cookies for the tea.
"Sit down at the table, please. I'll pour us tea!" He asked her, mumbling. "Ah, where is that tasty cookies which I bought yesterday?"
Fluttershy sat down, looking on Thunderlane.
"I must stop worrying; he must not see how worried I am! He's coming!" She thought felling shyness .
Thunderlane began to come to the table; there were a pie and a small knife instead of cookies in his hooves. He probably didn't find it or it's already over.
"O God. She is so kind and nice. Come on, Thunderlane, say it, say it!" He thought, looking oh Fluttershy and cutting a piece of cake.
Looking at her, Thunderlane, unfortunately, did not notice how his hoof got under the knife. There was a deep wound on the hoof. A few drops of his blood dripped onto the white tablecloth.
"Oh no!" Fluttershy scared and instantly grabbed a small clean towel, which is fun near the kitchen.
"It is nothing …" Thunderlane did not have time to finish, because the yellow Pegasus began to carefully and thoughtfully treat the wound. The towel was stained with his blood. Thunderlane wasn't too worried about his wound. "My God, she's so close. I can feel her breathing ... This is the perfect time, come on!" He thought.
"Fluttershy?"
"What? Does it hurt? I am so sorry … "
"No, no, it's all right. Thank you. You know, I have to tell you something".
The heart of the yellow Pegasus began to beat faster, she nearly dropped the towel.
"What?"
"Now or never, now or never..." Thunderlane thought, sighed, and collected his thoughts. "I wanted to tell you something ... you. .. I. .. I love you!"
Both ponies looked at each other in silence. Both of them had red cheeks. Thanks to the care of the yellow Pegasus, the black Pegasus no longer dripped blood from the wound.
"I shouldn't have said that, right? I'm sorry, I'm not ..." Thunderlane wanted to say something, but Fluttershy's kiss interrupted him. Neither she nor he did not expect such a turn. But they were both smiling at each other.
"It means ..," He began speaking.
"Yes, Thunderlane, I love you too...," Fluttershy ended his words and kissed him again. The towel that the black Pegasus was holding fell to the floor. But nobody noticed it. They were just excited about this ordinary or unusual day.
