It was hours after the battle with Tirek. Afterward, the entire town of Ponyville gathered for one of the largest parties Pinkie Pie had ever thrown. It was held in celebration of the Elements of Harmony’s victory over the magic-sucking demon centaur from Tartarus. It was not only a victory party, but also a party to celebrate the emergence of the large crystalline palace at the edge of town, now belonging to Princess Twilight Sparkle.
It is upon a balcony of one of the upper floors that said princess was currently located. Twilight Sparkle was looking over the railing of the balcony that connected to her new bedroom. Her room was of little concern to her, as was the breathtaking view of the entire town just in front of her. Twilight let out a deep sigh.
“Beautiful night, isn’t it, Twilight Sparkle?” A voice said from nearby.
Twilight gasped in surprise at the sudden appearance of the chaotic being know as Discord. He had popped in right next to the purple princess and startled her. Twilight turned to face the Spirit of Chaos. “Discord, you know I hate when you do that! What brings you here this late anyway?” Twilight wondered.
Discord chuckled at Twilight’s quick change in attitude, from mild indignation to curiosity. “Oh, I was just going for a nighttime flight when I just happened to notice you gazing wistfully across your balcony and looking quite lonely. So, being the good friend that I am, I decided to pop in and see how my favorite princess is since I saw her last.”
As he emphasized the word ‘favorite’, Discord ran his lion’s paw softly down Twilight’s cheek. The combination of this action and his smooth, velvety voice caused Twilight’s face to flush a light rose hue.
The chaos spirit floated and drifted in lazy circles, admiring the lovely features of the entrancing young mare before him. He first noticed how the full moon light cast Twilight in a heavenly glow. And then how the gentle breeze tossed the dark strands of her mane about just enough to, in Discord’s opinion, perfectly frame the princess’s perfect face. In short, Discord was completely infatuated with this perfect creature who stood staring up at him with her adorable doe-eyed expression.
Twilight could feel the intensity of the Draconequus’ eyes on her. She looked up at him, wondering what about her could possibly have drawn his attention so. Finally deciding she’d had enough of this silence, Twilight shattered it when she inquired, “Discord, why are you just staring at me like that?”
Discord chuckled as he made his descent next to the perplexed purple princess. “Oh, Twilight Sparkle, am I not allowed to gaze upon a creature so beautiful she all but outshines the very stars themselves and puts the moon to shame with her radiance?” Discord ran his clawed hand through the silky strands of Twilight’s mane, relishing in its soft texture.
Twilight’s face lit up in a bright red blush, to the point where her coat more closely resembled that of a tomato than her normal light purple hue. “I- I’m not really all that special... I’m sure there’s hundreds of… other mares…” Twilight swallowed hard; Discord’s close proximity making her nervous. “...much prettier than I am… I’m sure you could proba--” Twilight’s sentence was abruptly cut off mid ramble; whatever she was about to say was quickly forgotten, due to the fact that her brain had decided to take a little vacation.
The cause of this temporary shutdown of the princess’ mental faculties was the Draconequus pressing his muzzle to hers in a deep, heated kiss, full of desire for her. Discord continued to gently stroke Twilight’s mane with his eagle claw, letting the indigo strands slide through his talons like a beautiful waterfall. Discord moved his lion paw across Twilight’s lavender coat (that he just noticed was recently washed and smelled of lilacs). He started with caressing the soft fur of her cheek for a few seconds before making his way down to her neck and then trailing his paw down her body; his sensual touch never breaking contact with the mare before him until finally resting his paw right at her waist.
Twilight Sparkle was shocked the moment their lips met. Her eyes were open wide, clearly showing her surprise, and her wings shot out to their full span with an audible *POMF* at all the new sensations coursing through her. It was an oddly comfortable place to be and Twilight Sparkle found herself not wanting to leave anytime soon.
Discord floated over to Twilight’s large four-poster bed gently placed the princess on top of it before drifting down as well. Discord’s much larger form was hovering just above the smaller, supine form of the lavender Alicorn. The Draconequus slowly trailed his mismatched eyes over every supple curve of her lithe body; lingering momentarily on her cute, round star-speckled flanks. After what seemed like ages, Discord shifted his gaze to the Friendship Princess’ fully extended plumage; which clearly showed her excitement.
The thought of this put a huge toothy grin on Discord’s face.
Discord’s grin made Twilight just a little nervous…
In the next few seconds, Discord lowered himself mere inches from Twilight. She could feel his warm breath on her face as he began to drag the white tuft of his tail across her hind quarters ever-so softly. From Discord’s vantage point, he could see the effect his ministrations were having on the lavender beauty beneath him. Her breathing became labored; as evident by the quickened rising and falling of her chest. Her lovely eyes, which Discord found he could not get enough of, were dilated almost to the point the irises could not be seen. And finally, the most noticeable thing was her scent. His lovely little princess was most definitely turned on.
Twilight felt the heat and moisture build up between her legs. She blushed with both arousal and embarrassment, which caused Discord to let out a hearty chuckle at her expense. Twilight just glared at the Draconequus indignantly, crossing her forehooves over her chest and scrunching up her face in a huff. This only caused Discord to guffah even harder.
“I really fail to see what is so darn funny, Discord.”

With a giggle, Twilight Sparkle sat up just enough to wrap her forelegs around the floating Draconequus. A mischievous smirk crossed the princess’s beautiful features. “Enough messing around, Discord and kiss me already.” She then planted her lips firmly on Discord’s in a hungry, searing kiss, not giving him a chance to respond. Twilight Sparkle pulled a still very surprised Discord completely on top of her so that now there was no space separating the two, their lips still locked together.
Discord came to his senses and returned Twilight’s fiery, passion-filled kisses with equal passion. A low moan escaped the princess’s lips, allowing Discord’s long snake-like tongue to enter slowly into her mouth so as not to startle her. Discord was pleased when he was met with Twilight’s smaller, wider tongue battling for dominance against his.

The small amount of light coming in through the balcony from Luna's night sky made her eyes truly sparkle, Discord noticed. In true Discord fashion, he decided to make light of the situation. “You know, if you keep doing what you're doing, I might just take you right here, right now.” He said half jokingly, half serious. His ever present smirk never leaving his face.
Twilight Sparkle returned Discord’s smirk with one of her own and replied, “Then what’s stopping you?” Then, she licked him on the end of his nose.
Discord was caught by surprise momentarily by the lick to his nose, but soon recovered. He dropped his voice to a lower octave and whispered huskily in Twilight's ear, “Don’t forget, Princess, you're the one who asked for this.” Discord then licked Twilight’s ear as it flicked in front of his face. He the made his way to her supple neck and began trailing kisses, nips and licks down to her collarbone, making the mare beneath him writhe in pleasure.
Discord stopped for a moment, causing Twilight Sparkle to let out the cutest little whimper he had ever heard. The first being, that I was passing by and saw you all alone on your balcony and you just looked so forlorn and I simply could not have that. No one should be alone on a night such as this.” He gestured to the night sky as he spoke. “Secondly, and the biggest reason for me being here, I wanted to thank you.” Discord grew uncharacteristically quiet when saying this.
Twilight Sparkle was confused. “Thank me? For what?”
Discord smiled at her. “For standing up for me even when you had no reason to. For calling me your friend even after I betrayed your trust.” He punctuated the end of each sentence with a kiss, having them trail from her right cheek, eventually ending at the soft, inviting lips he couldn’t seem to get enough of. “And finally, my lovely princess, I wish to thank you for helping me out from the clutches of that fiend Tirek.” Discord and Twilight’s lips connected with fiery passion, much like the last few kisses they shared.
However, Twilight Sparkle reluctantly broke their kiss with a very confused look on her face. “Discord, you said earlier you were here for three reasons.” Discord nodded, confirming this. “Well, you’ve only stated two of them. What’s the third one?”
Discord chuckled when he saw the truly confused look on Twilight’s face. “Oh, Twilight Sparkle, I would’ve thought by now you would know that one.” He said, smirking. He kissed the bewildered mare on her nose and watched the range of emotions cross her face before they finally settled on recognition and surprise.
*GASP* “Y--you...but...h--how long?” She stuttered out.
Twilight got a surprisingly thoughtful look on the chaos spirit’s face. She couldn’t help but admit to herself that Discord was actually quite handsome, especially when deep in thought like that. And then she realized she was letting her mind wander away from her, and Discord had begun to speak to her again. So, Twilight reined her wandering mind back in.
“I’ve admired you since we first met, Twilight. Your determination to get anything you set your mind to done, your compassion for those you hold most dear, these are just a couple of things that have helped me recently - VERY recently - to come to realize just how I feel about you, Twilight Sparkle.”
Twilight looked up at Discord in awe as he poured his heart out to her. She realized at once what moment he was alluding to. She also realized she had lingering feelings for the Draconequus that had been building for some time. Seeing Discord powerless and trapped in Tirek’s bubble had been a turning point for both of them. Twilight realized then and there she wanted nothing but to keep Discord safe, not out of a sense of obligation, but because she truly felt deep in her soul that she needed to.
It was with this realization that Twilight Sparkle placed her hooves on the sides of Discord’s face, pulled him down on top of her, and kissed him deeply, pouring all her heart and soul into the kiss.
Discord was momentarily surprised by the action, but quickly succumbed to the wonderful feeling of Twilight’s lips on his. A deep growl of pleasure arose from the back of his throat. The small purple Alicorn’s laughter was music to Discord’s ears. The Draconequus was so lost in his thoughts, he didn’t hear what Twilight had just said to him. “I’m sorry, my dear, could you run that by me again?”
Twilight let out another giggle. “I said, I want you to make love to me, Discord.”
That’s exactly what he thought she said. “So, my dear Princess,” Discord whispered huskily into Twilight’s ear, “how shall we proceed?”
Twilight suddenly became very unsure of herself. Her left ear began to twitch and she seemed to visibly wilt, like a flower with not enough water. Something that did not go unnoticed by Discord.
“Twilight?” Discord asked, concerned. “Is everything alright?”
Twilight nodded. “I guess I’m just a little nervous, that’s all. I’ve never done this before...being intimate with anyone...It’s all very new to me.” Twilight confessed.
Discord grinned at the princess. “That’s quite alright, my dear.” He said as he gently combed the talons of his eagle claw through Twilight’s dark blue mane. Discord moved his claw over her lips to quiet her ramblings. “You worry too much, my dear. I think I have just the thing for that. Roll over on your stomach.”
Twilight looked at him confused for a moment but did as instructed. Once she was in position, she barely had time to get out the words, ‘What are you planning on doing now?’ when she suddenly felt a firm but gentle pressure originating from her shoulders and slowly working its way down her back.
As Discord worked his hands down Twilight’s body, he noticed the princess was still holding a bit of tension in her muscles. Discord leaned down so his mouth was right next to Twilight’s ear. “Please try to relax, my dear.” He told her gently. “I promise you, everything will feel so much better if you do.” To emphasize his point, Discord gave Twilight’s twitching ear a soft lick. Twilight giggled. That's Future Twilight's problem.” She let out a cute (in Discord's opinion) yawn. “Goodnight, Discord.” Twilight closed her eyes and was soon fast asleep, curled up in Discord's arms and using his chest as a pillow.
Discord smiled at the sleeping made he was holding. He watched her sleep for a minute or two before closing his own eyes. “Sweet dreams, Princess.” Discord snapped a blanket over them and, before long, he was asleep as well.
