At the Sweet Snacks Café...

I placed my order. As long as I was with Apple Bloom, I was the happiest teenager in Canterlot. Eventually, our food came. However, as AB and I started eating, Pinkie Pie, who works as a waitress, called for me. "I'll be right back, Bloomie", I said.

"This better be important, Pinkie", I said.

"Sorry, Alan. I think I figured out who could've released the Crimson King from Insomnia. You've seen 'Goosebumps' and 'Goosebumps 2', right?", Pinkie asked.

"No, but I understand the plot of both films. Are you trying to say that Slappy the Dummy is the mastermind behind this?", I asked my crazy friend.

"No, but it's a possibility. After you and AB watch 'Goosebumps 2'...", Pinkie started.

"Wait, who told you about our date?!", I asked, unaware that I was raising my voice.

"Applejack", Pinkie answered.

"Oh, for the love of God!", Apple Bloom and I said in unison.

"I guess my sister is a little worried about me, but telling others about our date?", Apple Bloom said.

"Let's just finish our dinner", I said.

At the theater...

We both took our seats. The big screen was showing "Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween", a comedy-horror film. When Slappy appeared, I looked right into his eyes, reading his mind. However, he wasn't the mastermind. But who would do this? And when did this person release the Crimson King from "Insomnia"? The hatred boiling in my blood was reserved for villains who have taken something that belonged to me. This... mysterious villain took everything from me, and I had to destroy him or her... somehow.

After the movie, Apple Bloom took me to a special place in the Everfree Forest: the crystal cave. "Alan, this was the best night of my life", she said. She pulled me in for a hug. I returned the embrace. I noticed something in her pocket. A small box. My eyes grew wide with realization. We separated. "Alan, I know we're still too young, but... will you marry me?", she asked.

"YES!", I shouted. However, someone tackled me! "Hey, what's the big idea?!", I said.

"Get off of my fiancé!", Apple Bloom shouted. She delivered a powerful kick to the person's head. The person then tackled Apple Bloom!

"Get off of my fiancée!", I shouted. I choked the person, and brought her into the light. "Applejack?", I asked with confusion. The orange girl striked me in the face. I fell to the ground unconscious. Applejack ran out with her little sister. But by then, it was too late. Apple Bloom's ring was on my right ring finger. I regained consciousness. I looked at the ring on my finger. I stood up and ran out of the cave. The moonlight lit my way. I followed Applejack's footprints. "Don't worry, Bloomie. I'll find you." Eventually, I made it back to the farm. In her room, Apple Bloom was getting yelled at by Applejack. I snuck through the house, and pounced on Applejack. "Not so tough now, are ya? You stupid jackass." Applejack and I engaged in a fistfight. Applejack was much stronger than me, and she threw me out the window. Apple Bloom leaped after me.

"Got you!", Apple Bloom shouted. She corkscrewed towards the ground with me in her embrace. We hit the ground hard. "Are you okay, honey?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Looks like somebody's- ugh- jealous", I said.

"Girls! Over here!", Apple Bloom shouted. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle ran over.

"Oh, hey, guys", I said. "Apple Bloom and I are engaged, but Applejack isn't too happy about that. Fortunately, I'm gonna get us out of here."

The Cutie Mark Crusaders and I ran into Applejack's truck, and, with me at the wheel, we drove off. "I might be a shitty-ass driver, but I make the perfect getaway driver! Yee-ha!", I shouted with craziness.

"Alan, she's chasing us!", Apple Bloom shouted.

"Here, take this!", I shouted. I gave AB a gun. "Shoot her down!"

"With pleasure!", Apple Bloom shouted. She leaned out of the passenger side window and began shooting. Applejack evaded the bullets, however.

We got onto the highway. Applejack was still chasing us, but she was running on the sidewalk. "Ha! Nice try, AJ! Suck my-!", I said. The last word was honked out.

"Alan, head for the Everfree Forest! We can hide out in the clubhouse until Applejack has a chance to calm down!", Scootaloo said.

"Sweetie Belle, take the wheel! AJ's still chasing us!", I shouted. Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and I leaned out of the side window and began shooting at Applejack. Again, she evaded the bullets. Luckily, we made it to the Everfree Forest.

In the Everfree Forest...

"Swiggity swoogity, I'm coming for that booty", Applejack said repeatedly.

"Congratulations, you two!", Sweetie Belle said.

""When's the wedding?", Scootaloo asked.

"Well, once we get Ms. Anger Issues off our backs, we'll make a plan", I said.

"The Clubhouse is just behind these trees. Come on", Apple Bloom said. We ran inside and locked the door.

"AB, why are you glowing?", Scootaloo asked. I was looking out the window to see if Applejack gave up. I chuckled victoriously.

"I... I think Equestria magic is inside of me", Apple Bloom said.

"Can you three cut it out? She's still out there. Holy shit, she coming in!", I said.

"Here's Jackie!", Applejack said. The Cutie Mark Crusaders and I ran outside. We ran through the forest as fast as we could.

"The cave! Come on!", I shouted. The Cutie Mark Crusaders ran inside, but Applejack tackled me. She repeatedly punched me. My face was bloody. I knocked Applejack out.

"Come on! We have to go to my house! We'll be safe there!", Sweetie Belle said.

"Okay, let's go!", I said. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo helped me walk.

"Are you okay, honey?", Apple Bloom asked.

"Yeah", I replied.

At Rarity's house...

"You four should stay here for the night", Rarity said. The Crusaders and I were already asleep. Rarity smiled at us. "Sweet dreams."
