After Alex jumps to his apparent death but before he regains consciousness in a hospital, he awakens to find a pink pony talking to some lint, rocks, and a sack of flour. Even more curious, he discovers that he, himself, has turned into a pony. Thinking this is a dream, he confides in the pink pony and asks her whatever is the matter?
