The Puppet

He didn't know how long he waited, but after what felt like forever the Puppet finally worked up the courage to peek out of its box again, Down the hall, there was now not only a tiny bit of light shining from in but also several noises, The Puppet looked left and right before removing the lid to the box. After one final look around he took a step out of his box, the noise echoed through the empty place, but it was drowned out by the fan in the Security room. The Guard himself had the tablet that let him shift through the live camera feed on the table and he himself was rummaging through a small fridge behind the desk for a snack. The Puppet looked at the light, and turned to the Animatronic's on stage, he climbed up and looked at them, immediately the three Animatronic's turned and looked back at him. The Puppet looked silently at them for a long moment before it waved its hand side to side, the Animatronic's continued staring blankly before turning back to the empty room in front of them, the Puppet watched in silence as Toy Bonnie moved his hand up and down over his guitar with no sound coming out, he then jumped back and almost fell off the stage when Toy Freddy spoke.

"Hey there boys and girls, I hope you're having a fantastic day, in fact, today is so great me and my Friends are gonna sing a song about it!" The Puppet stood in silence as Freddy raised his microphone to his mouth and opened his mouth to start singing, only to lower it back down and repeat the same line again. "Hey There boys and girls, I hope..." The Puppet shook its head as it looked at Toy Chica and the cupcake with eye's she was holding." The Puppet looked at her. as she moved her hands back and forth, all the while looking over his shoulder at the empty room.

"I guess you've all been switched to some loop mode or something." The Puppet said as it watched the trio do the same thing in an endless loop, Toy Bonnie strumming, Toy Freddy talking to the empty room, and Toy Chica...existing next to them. though by far the creepiest thing was the Cupcake with eyes. Feeling unnerved by the thing the Puppet tried turning it the other way, as soon as he Touched it something sparked out of his hands, through the Cupcake, and into Toy Chica, Immediately she twitched her head and both her arms went limp, her upper body slumped down and her beak fell to the floor along with the cupcake. The Puppet took a step back in shock and raised his hands like he was surrendering.

"Did I do that?" he asked the empty room. suddenly Toy Chica sparked again and raised back up, she blinked and her eyes locked onto The Puppet before he could properly reach Toy Chica offered him her hand.

"well hi there." She said happily "Nice to meet you." The Puppet blinked and accepted her hand, getting a shake for it, Chica looked around and looked over at Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie doing their repetitive motions. "Hey don't be rude guy's we have a guest." She said happily, frowning when her two companions Ignored her. "um...hello?" she asked waving her hand in front of Toy Freddy's Face. The Puppet looked at his hand and walked over to Toy Freddy.

"Wake up," he demanded, poking his nose, The Two watched as Freddy's arms went limp and his upper body slumped down, The Puppet walked over to Toy Bonnie and did the same thing after a second the Three Animatronic's were all Greeting The Puppet Entusiaticly.

"Um..." Toy Freddy said as he looked around "where are all the kids at?"

"I don't know." The Puppet responded as he motioned to the room "It's just been like this ever since I woke up." The Puppet blinked. "Oh! Now that I know how to wake you guy's up I better go wake up those other two!" The Puppet sat down on the edge of the stage and jumped to the floor. his footstep's echoing as he made his way to the Kid's area.

"So?" Toy Bonnie asked as he looked around "I was sleeping?"

"I guess we all were," Freddy said as he looked around the empty room. "It's weird, I remember singing with you two...I was just about to start the song...then bam!" He waved around "The Room's empty!" Toy Freddy turned to his Friends and found that Toy Chica was now getting off the stage.

"Hey, where are you going!?" Toy Bonnie asked.

"To go find the Kids." She responded the two looked at each other.

"Now Why didn't I think of that?" Toy Freddy asked as he and Toy Bonnie followed suit. It was at this time that the Security Guard was wiping his hands off to get back to work. He flipped to the Main Stage and found it empty.

"Wha?" he asked after looking at it in silence for a moment, he flipped to one of the Party room's and jumped when he saw a Beakless Chica looking at him through the Camera, he flipped to another one and found Toy Freddie and the Puppet standing next to The Balloon Colt. He looked up from his Tablet sweating and dropped it, standing Directly in front of him was Toy Bonnie.

"High there," Toy Bonnie said, The Security Guard Fainted. Toy Bonnie walked over to him and frowned

"Well, now Mr.Exoskeleton, no need to be so rude and ignore me like that." He said as he scratched his head. "Oh well who am I to Judge, Poor guy probably wasn't expecting to be caught naked." He laughed as he left the room. "Have fun playing dead."

"What was that Bonnie?" Toy Chica asked as she peeked out of one of the Party Room's "I just found some weird thing in the room looking at me."

"I Found an Exoskeleton but that's about it." he replied with a shrug "No Kid's tho." The Two made their way back to the Others, they Found Toy Freddy talking to Balloon Colt who seemed Distraught.

"What's up?" Toy Bonnie asked.

"Poor guy can only say one word," Freddy said with a shake of his head.

"Hello." Balloon Colt sighed as he got off his Balloon stand.

"We found an Exoskeleton and some weird thing on the ceiling but that's about..."

"I Found another one!" Toy Chica cheered pointing to a Camera looking at the group "There all over the place!" The Entire Group jumped as a loud Garbling sound hit them and they turned to The Puppet, Next to him came the Mangle.

"Hello." Balloon Colt said in shock.

"Oh wow." Toy Chica said as The Mangle looked at her

"Hello." The Mangle said in a Garbled voice "It's nice to meet you, I don't suppose you've seen the rest of my body have you?" Its Second head shot up and Looked at Toy Bonnie in silence.

"You have two heads." Toy Bonnie noted, "That's kind of cool."

"But only one eye for each." Toy Chica added, "So that's gotta suck." Meanwhile, in the office, the Guard, who had gotten back up, Was looking at the ordeal while talking of the Phone.

"...and now they're all just standing there looking at each other!" He said in a Panic. "What do I do?"

"relax" The Voice on the Phone said "Listen I know that you know about the old story passed around that they'll stuff you in a suit, and while I can't disprove that, I can say with certainty that all you need to do is go to Part's and Service and on the Shelf Directly next to the door there should be an old Freddy head, it's been hollowed out, no wires no nothing, just grab that and keep it on, and just avoid eye contact."

"Yeah...yeah ok." The Guard said as he shakily got up, "After checking to see if the Animatronic's were still in the Kid's area he booked it to Part's and Service. he started unlocking the door. The Animatronic's all heard this and turned to him, immediately Toy Chica and Toy Bonnie individually covered The Mangle's eye's while Toy Freddy covered both Balloon colt and the Puppet's eyes.

"Oh wow." The Puppet said with an awkward laugh "that's gotta be super Embarrassing."

"Hello." The Balloon Colt agreed.

"I'd say!" Toy Freddy said as the Exoskeleton opened the door and ran inside, closing the door behind him. "Poor guy probably wasn't expecting us to wake up but still, what if the kids had seen him like that, sure we don't know where they are, but they could come out any second!."

"Oh, I bet he's been super lonely." Toy Chica said, "He's probably been awake for a while."

"He was kind of rude to me, he was just sitting in the lit up the room and what did he do when I said Hi to him? He Ignored me and played dead!" Toy Bonnie shook his head, the Group watched as a Freddy opened the door, closed it, and ran back to the Lightroom.

"Oh my...He's a Freddy and he was doing that!" Toy Freddy said as he moved his hands "Now that's just wrong! I'm going to go have a word with him." Toy Freddy marched down the hallway in a huff.

"Ok, I've got the mask on now what?" The Security guard asked, still shaking.

"Alright," The Pony on the other side of the line said, "If the rumors are true, then at 6 they should all go back to their proper places for the day, it's already 5:58 so you just gotta wait 2 minutes and you should be good."

"Yeah, it'll beeeeeeeee." The Security Guard dropped the phone as he watched Toy Freddy walk down the hall "Please no."

"I wanna have a Word with you, Freddy." Toy Freddy said "You ought to be ashamed of yourself, walking around in your Exoskeleton like that! I hope you have a good reason for it." The Security guard, still shaking, said the first thing he could think of.

"My suit is off getting cleaned, all I had to wear was this old head." He said, Toy Freddy looked at him then smiled.

"Oh, I see, my bad then," Toy Freddy waved "but next time, maybe keep that head-on." He added as he left. "Alright, nothing too bad." Toy Freddy said as he walked to the group "His suit's being cleaned, that..." Suddenly all the Animatronics stood up straight. and began moving.

"Wait I'm not in control of my feet anymore!" The Puppet said as his feet forced him to walk back to the Box.

"Hello." Balloon Colt said as he stood at his Balloon stand,

"Oh dear, guess It back to the cove for me." Mangle said as it waved at The Puppet, who waved back as he got back into the Box."

"I get it!" Toy Freddy said as he got back on stage "The Kid's must be coming!"

"Oh I hope so," Bonnie said as he took his place on stage and picked up his Guitar."

"Hey!" Toy Chica said angrily "Why didn't you guys tell me my beak fell out?" Chica said as she put it back in and picked up her Cupcake. All the Animatronic's who could see watched in silence as an Adult Pony ran at full speed out of the main hallway, opened up the Metal curtain thing, and Unlocked the Front door, closing it behind him.

"Wait where did that guy come from!?" Toy Bonnie demanded, "You said you checked all the room's Chica!"

"One of them was locked!" Toy Chica Responded angrily.

"Stop Arguing!" Mangle called "You'll scare the Children."

"They're not here yet." Toy Freddy called back.

"We don't know when they will be!" What if they come in and you're arguing!" The Puppet responded, his voice muffled by the Box.

"Hello" Balloon Boy added.

"Alright." Toy Freddy said, "Let's all just be quiet, and do our jobs." The other's all agreed and stood in silence waiting for the Kid's to come, meanwhile across the town the Mane 6 were all gathered together.

"Alright," Twilight said, her mane a mess and her eye's red "I'm going to spending the Day at Freddy's, I'll be keeping an eye out for the Foalnapper and see if I can catch him in the act, Pinkie, you and Fluttershy are with me, Rarity I need you to stay here and tell the Princess where I am if she manages to get out of day court and come aid us, and Finally Applejack I need you and Rainbow to Sweep through the town, Question anypony and everypony, somepony had to have seen something!"

"Got it," Applejack said with a nod as she and Rainbow headed out, Rarity was crying on a couch, next to her sat Sweetie who seemed annoyed.

"Rarity I'm sure nopony's gonna try and Foalnap me if I just go outside, Applebloom still gets to go out."

"Applebloom is being shadowed by Big Mac for the day" Rarity responded with a sniff "And You have to stay with me, and I have to stay here!" Twilight left the Siblings to their squabbling and headed out with Fluttershy and Pinkie.

"I'm sure he'll be fine," Fluttershy said nervously, "I'm also sure he's probably frightened out of his mind, and maybe not being feed right, and what if he's not being kept in a warm and sanitary spot, he could get sick, or..." As Fluttershy rambled on in slowly rising and lowering Panic Pinkie was Jumping high in the air, every other jump she had a Telescope and did a full circle twist before falling and jumping back up with a Megaphone.

"SPIKE YELL IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!" She screamed out before falling down and repeating her actions. Twilight looked around at everyone they passed, using a scanning spell to scan them for any trace of Spike's presence. After a 15 minute walk, the Trio were met with the odd sight of all of the Employees hunched outside looking at a Tablet. once they got close they heard what they were saying.

"...is it safe?" one of them asked.

"They've never done anything before." The Mare who had been their waiter the other day said as she looked at the Tablet.

"That's cause they're not supposed to do walk and talk freely!" A Pony in a Guards Unifrom said back, his eye's red and twitching "I don't care what anypony says I don't get paid enough for this! I'm not going back in there!" The Guard threw his hat on the ground and took off his jacket and dropped it. "I quit!" He said as he stormed past the Princess "I'm moving to Applelossa!" They heard him mutter "Fuck this place." the Trio watched him walk past without even noticing them.

"What's happening?" Pinkie asked the Group as they Approached.

"Oh...the Animatronic's come alive at night I guess." The Mare said as he looked at the Tablet "That's kind of cool I guess."

"I'm sorry what?" Twilight asked, having been scanning the group for Spike's Presence. "Did you say..."

"Alive." The Mare said with a shrug "You know, talking, walking, Arguing, Scaring the shit out of the guard that kind of thing. Dammit, now we need a new Night Guard." She added as she handed the Princess the Tablet and Picked up the Uniform. The Trio looked at the screen and saw the Animatronic's standing in the Child area, and watched as they turned and the Three from the Stage cover the eyes of the other three.

"What in the name of Tartarus?" Twilight asked, earning no response from her friends. One of the Employees asked for the Tablet and lead the three inside, having been told by their manager that they were now to be let in until the Foalnapper was caught. The Trio sat down and looked up at the Toy Animatronics as they stood in silence. At first, it seemed they were just as they had been yesterday until Twilight caught Toy Bonnie's eye's quickly darting towards the door then back to looking ahead. Fluttershy looked around and saw the Balloon Colt had turned its head facing backward to look at them, it's head snapped back the right way once he realized she had seen him. Pinkie decided to take the Initiative and walked up to the stage.

"Hey did you guys see anything weird yesterday," she asked casually The Robots ignored her and continued waiting in silence.

"What are they doing?" Twilight asked as she and Fluttershy watched them, every now and again one of the three would dart their eye's to the door then look back in front of them in silence, as the Three looked around it became apparent the Balloon Colt was doing the same thing, as he was once again spotted with a Backwards head. the Animatronic in Kid's cove seemed content to lay down and not do anything, It wasn't until they walked past the Prize counter that Twilight noticed she was being watched, the eye's of the Puppet was following her, their light just visible from under the lid of its box, Twilight approached and got on her knee's. the Puppet stared at her hard, nothing was said as they sat there in silence. until the employee who managed the counter interrupted the staring contest.

"I hate to break it to you." He said with a shrug "But if you're trying to question them you're wasting your time, they care about one thing, and one thing only." He said as he got behind the counter, "And that's making little one's smile." Twilight looked up at him.

"Well, then I'll just stay until closing time and..."

"That won't work," He said as he leaned on his counter "They're glitched, they look at you now and see an Adult, they look at you at night and see an Endoskeleton without its Costume on, and as that's against the rules... so your not likely to see the light of day again if they catch you at night" Twilight looked at the employe in silence, who shrugged. "Hey, it's a risk of the job, we all sighed the legal waivers." The Employee pulled out a small remote and pressed it. instantly the Box filled up with music, the Puppet's eye's disappeared as he leaned back and listened.

"What does this Animatronic do anyway?" Twilight asked, "I didn't see it out yesterday."

"The Puppet pick's one kid during the day and gives them a present, free of charge, it happens once a day, randomly and without warning." The Employ leaned behind the counter and picked up a purple box. "This is the Present, you can get anything, from a whistle to a coupon for your choice of anything behind the counter." The Employee smiled before shaking his head "Anyway If you'd be so Kind I need to give him his gift to give." Twilight walked back to where she had been sitting to tell Fluttershy and Pinkie what she's just been told. The Employee readjusted the box's lid and pressed a button, the Lid raised up and the Puppet came up with his hands together, the Employee placed the Box and lowered The Puppet back in the box. The Puppet looked at it as it sat down in its box, and peeked out, looking at the door and waiting for the kids to come.
