It was a cool spring night, the kind of night that was just perfect for starlight walks or romantic boat rides. For the bustling city of Canterlot, it was a night of fun and excess. It was a time of wine drinking and overnight partying. The entertainment district was lit up like a lantern with twenty four hour bars and nightclubs. Some establishments, only open during the late evening hours, opened their doors to clubbers and young lovers who were looking for some fun during these late hours of the night. Lonely souls often wandered the streets seeking cheap dates and easy love, hardly considering the consequences that would befall them in the morning. Fancy Pants, one of Canterlot’s esteemed social elite, was enjoying a night on the town. He dressed himself in his very finest suit of blacks and blues which only complimented his well kept, white colored fur coat. His light blue mane was expertly slicked back, his fetlocks trimmed perfectly straight, and his mustache was styled thinly with the slightest curl at the end. He was a clean cut unicorn, dressed to the nines, and perfectly reflecting the best Canterlot had to offer. Strolling down the paved streets of Canterlot, Fancy Pants was in search of something new. He avoided the noisey nightclubs and crowded dive bars. Such reckless parties and cheap drink were for the younger and less mature ponies. Instead he set his sights on La Plaque de Perle, one of his favorite places to visit so late in the evening. La Plaque de Perle was a classy bar, a fine example of what Canterlot uptown had to offer to the social elite. It was the kind of place one would enjoy a glass of wine and exquisite atmosphere. It was off the busy beaten path and only allowed an exclusive list of guests through its doors. Fancy Pants, given his respected reputation, had no trouble entering. Live piano music played through the room as the conversation of a dozen or so other diners could be heard as an indistinct muttering. A long, L-shaped bar made of a rich mahogany dominated more than half of the floorspace. Tables and luxurious booths dotted the rest of the area save for a small raised stage that housed a grand piano that a well dressed mare played away on. Fancy Pants’s eyes centered on a gorgeous mare sitting at the bar. She was a slim and alluring white mare with the most dazzling of soft lavender eyes. Her pink and white striped mane was stylized so elegantly, allowing the waves of colors to roll off of her head so delicately. Her dress was a fashionable number of deep reds and seductive crimsons. It hugged her form snugly, accentuated her curved so well. Such beauty set her apart from the rest of the crowd. “Well hello there,” Fancy Pants said in his most gentlemanly tone, “what is a beautiful mare such as yourself doing all alone in a place like this?” The mare looked up from her drink - some water in a fancy glass by the looks of things - and smiled up at the stallion. Her eyes twinkled with the warm candlelight of the room. “I suppose I’m just waiting for the right pony to come in and buy me a drink,” the mare smiled. “Then I believe I can be of service to you,” Fancy Pants smiled back, taking a seat at the barstool beside the mare. “A bottle of your finest Côtes du Rhône, please,” Fancy Pants told the bartender. The bartender, a burly looking pegasus, simply nodded before going on his way. “Allow me to introduce myself. My name is...Golden Glass,” Fancy Pants bowed his head, momentarily forgetting the name he was calling himself for the night. It was not uncommon for him to go incognito under a new name, keeping the crowds at bay by assuming an alternate identity. With a little bit of magic he was able to slip into the new role easily. His cutie mark could be covered up with a simple concealment spell and going around town at night minimized his exposure to the adoring public. It was all to experience things as more of a commoner. Sure he enjoyed the luxuries of aristocracy, but it was through fresh eyes that weren’t bogged down by the expectations of society. “Charmed, my name’s Purple...Iris,” the mare answered with a similar pause, holding up a dainty hoof. “A beautiful name for a beautiful flower such as yourself,” Fancy Pants smoothly answered back, kissing the mare’s hoof so delicately. The white mare blushed and bashfully pulled her hoof away. “You’re quite the flatterer, Golden Glass,” she chuckled, “do you do this often?” “Oh not so much anymore,” he chuckled, “let’s just say I’ve been a little more...exclusive these past few years.” “You have a special somepony?” “In a way,” he answered, “I do have my eyes set on a certain mare.” He leaned back in his seat and got all starry eyed, falling in love with the mare’s eyes like it was the first time he saw them. “A lovely and talented model from Prance. She’s a lot like you. I think you’d like her.” “She sounds lovely,” the mare chuckled. The bartender returned moments later with a bottle of wine wrapped in a silver label and two tall crystal glasses. He presented the bottle to Fancy Pants before popping the cork with an golden ornate screwdriver “Thank you,” Fancy Pants nodded to the bartender before magically picking up the bottle. “So tell me about yourself,” he said, pouring the wine into the pair of glasses, “it’s always so wonderful to see a new face around here.” “Oh me?” the mare replied, gladly taking a glass of wine and savoring a steady sip of the red liquid, “well I’m not sure there’s much to tell.” She paused, swirling her wine around in its tall necked glass. “I’m a...writer...for a fashion magazine,” she thought deeply on the story she conjured up, taking deep pauses between words as she spun the stallion a story, “Canterlot is a wonderful fashion center, afterall.” “It must be a rewarding occupation,” Fancy Pants answered, “to travel around and see all the latest designs and fads and attending all those fashion shows.” He paused to take a slow sip of his wine, allowing his mind to think of a cover story worthy of such a mare. “I myself captain an airship. The...Silver Lining, one of Equestria’s most luxurious skyliners.” “I’ve never been on an airship before,” the mare said, “perhaps one day you can show me around.” “I’d like that very much,” Fancy Pants replied. Before long two bottles of wine and plenty of wonderful conversation was shared between the two unicorns. Fancy Pants was seeing a whole new side of this mare. He felt invigorated by the chat, finding it deep and personal, despite the first chance meeting. “Let’s say we...get out of here,” Fancy Pants finally said, “head on out to some place quiet where we can relax.” A grin grew across the mare’s face as she rolled the last sip of wine in her glass. “I think I know just the place,” she answered before drinking down the rest of her drink. “Come along,” she chimed, hopping out of her seat. Chapter TwoView OnlineThe Masks We WearChapter TwoLeaving the quiet bar behind, the mare led Fancy Pants farther away from the bustling noise of the main city streets, leading him down a lovely, lakeside strip lit up by soft green firefly lanterns. This street bordered the garden district, a vibrantly green part of town filled with beautiful plant life and natural streams. It was home to many parks and flower fields that were perfect for taking nature walks through. It was a part of town Fancy Pants had rarely been to and despite him living in the big city all his life, he was unfamiliar with what was there. Every step he took following the mare, the farther he was away from familiarity and after awhile he started to get uneasy. Buildings started to become unfamiliar and street names were new. “Fleur, what’s this about?” he finally asked, momentarily dropping the theatrical play the two were partaking in tonight. “Ah ah ah,” the mare answered hushed the stallion, “that’s not my name tonight, Golden Glass.” She tapped a hoof to her muzzle, smirking a sly grin like a playful child sharing a secret. “Don’t worry. You’ll see.” Fleur led Fancy Pants to a rather inconspicuous looking building. It blended in well with the gold trimmed, ivory towers around it, however it seemed to lack many outward facing windows near the ground floor. The owner of the building must have valued their privacy, Fancy Pants presumed. Past a pair of double glass doors, the two ponies entered what appeared to be a waiting room of some sort. The interior was quiet, almost completely silent save for some peaceful harp music being played on the overhead speakers. The floors were paneled with a dark wood while the walls and ceiling were painted a smooth eggshell, lit up with dim hanging lights. Well kept flower shrubs dotted the area, giving the room a touch of color. Across from the main doors was a wood paneled receptionist desk with a white marble top. A single pony, a dark blue earth pony mare, manned the station with a clipboard and a white tulip plant to keep her company. Behind the receptionist pony hung a sign made of brushed silver metal that read “Sunside Spa” with a simple sun symbol shining upon its straight edged letters. The thought of spending the evening in a private spa relaxed Fancy Pants a bit, allowing some tension to melt off his shoulders. It was a lovely idea, but he couldn’t quite understand why Fleur would need all this secrecy and sneaking around. Not to mention there were plenty of private spas all around Canterlot - and a lot of them Fancy Pants was a gold card member of - so what made this one special? It seemed she enjoyed the thrill of surprises even more than him. “Good evening,” the receptionist mare nodded softly, smiling with a patient and friendly smile, “how may I help you?” “We have a reservation,” Fleur told the desk pony, leading Fancy Pants up to the desk as he continued to walk with a cautious step, “under Purple Iris.” The receptionist pony consulted her clipboard where a small stack of paperwork was hung. “Yep, we have you right here! Suite six.” A reservation? Fleur certainly planned things out well. Fancy Pants was amazed she had gone through such great lengths for this night. It must have meant a lot to her. “Wonderful, we’ll head back there now,” Fleur smiled, “oh and could you please send Jump Rope down when she’s available. We’ll be needing some assistance getting ready.” “Right away, miss,” the receptionist pony nodded once. Fleur led Fancy Pants past the desk and through a pair of wooden doors that opened up to the spa proper. This area was equally as peaceful, with only the distant chatter of unseen ponies disturbing the gentle harp music. The two entered a wide hallway that appeared to act as a main vein throughout the floor, connecting the various rooms and doors throughout. The walls were decorated with thin panels of dark wood, breaking an otherwise endless sea of white that bent down a hallway in the distance. The floor was now made up of a rose wood, highly polished to a clean shine. Several water features lined the walls as the dim overhead lighting danced off the ribbon thin waterfalls that misted the air only subtly. Along the right side of the wide hallway stood a line of dark wood doors with gold numbers bolted to their face counting all the way up to ‘9’. Hardly giving pause to take in the surroundings, Fleur led Fancy Pants into the room marked with a shiny ‘6’ and ushered him in. Closing the door behind them, Fleur turned on the lights to reveal a brightly colored room. The music and general noise outside was completely blocked out by well insulated walls. A soft plush carpet cushioned under their hooves and the walls were now painted to resemble some cartoon version of open flowing fields of green grass. Dotted around the room were the most peculiar furnishings including a crib, a giant changing table, and even a small kitchen area that was childproofed with safety locks and a secure looking highchair. It was a giant nursery! “Fleur, what is this place?” Fancy Pants asked, raising an eyebrow to the strange room. He turned to face his date only to find the mare had disappeared into the connecting room. At a glance, it appeared to be a normal bedroom with a large, queen sized bed, adult looking dresser, nightstand, and everything. A light at the far end of the room illuminated an attached bathroom beyond. “Oh wonderful, they packed extra towels in the master bathroom,” Fleur could be heard from the bathroom as she trotted back into the room, “I never seem to have enough when I take regular baths.” She so casually said all this as she met back up with Fancy Pants, who stood at the doorway with a confused expression on his face. None of this made any sense to Fancy Pants and the only pony who’d be able to make light of the situation wasn’t giving him any answers. Fleur purposely avoided anymore attempts at revealing her plans, teasing the stallion with playful floatiness as she dodged his questions and instead pretended to distract herself with basic housekeeping points. Fleur casually trotted around the suite with a happy gallop. She was incredibly excited for their stay and wanted to make sure everything was set up just right. The room was freshly turned down with its bedsheets freshly laundered and its clean towels neatly folded. A full stock of brightly colored diapers populated the shelves underneath the changing table and the kitchen fridge was filled with various foods and meals provided by the spa. Just before she ran out of things to check and double check, Fleur was delighted to hear a knock at the door to which she gladly answered. A tall earth pony with a stocky build stood at the door wearing a clean white uniform sporting The Spa’s logo embroidered on the chest. She looked like she worked as a bodybuilder for her day job. She had a forest green coat with a short, lime green mane in an almost pixie hair style. Her dark grayish pink eyes had a stern intensity fueled behind them, almost intimidating in their own way. “Ma’am,” the earth pony mare stated in a low voice and a single nod. “Right on time!” Fleur celebrated, allowing the new pony in. “He’s all set for you,” she presented Fancy Pants who was still trying to comprehend it all. For the first time in the last ten minutes, Fleur finally spoke to the confused stallion directly, “just relax and let Jump Rope here take care of everything.” “Jump Rope?” Fancy Pants parroted, throwing a glance over to the stern earth pony. “I’ll make sure he’s ready when you return, Ms. Iris,” Jump Rope simply said. Right before Fancy Pants could say anything else, Fleur disappeared once again, ducking down into the normal bedroom and carelessly closing the door behind her. For added privacy, he assumed. Seconds before she disappeared completely, Fancy Pants could only muster up a sputtering, “F-Fleur! Iris, wait!” before the door shut. Fancy Pants’s head snapped back to the earth pony who loomed over him. He still had questions about this place and Jump Rope didn’t seem to be the explaining type. If anything, she appeared to be a very no-nonsense type who was all too frequently quick to the point. “On your back,” Jump Rope commanded. “L-listen, Ms. Jump Rope, this is all rather sudden for me,” Fancy Pants stammered, “i-if you could just explain to me what’s going on-...” “I said on your back!” the sternness in the mare’s voice was almost enough to force Fancy Pants to the ground on its own. Eyes growing wide, Fancy Pants dropped to the floor with a muffled thump, laying on his back to await whatever fate had instore for him. Meanwhile Jump Rope stomped her way over to the changing table where she extracted a single diaper off the shelves. She opened the adult diaper before Fancy Pants, but the stallion dared not budge an inch. He feared what might happen if he tested the earth pony further. Perhaps it wasn’t just fear. Maybe a little bit of intimidation as well. Or perhaps there was a little bit of him that was curious about it all. Surely Fleur wouldn’t willingly put him in any danger. He had to remind himself of that. And all this secrecy and avoidance the mare had been doing this whole time must have just been part of the surprise. He trusted Fleur too much to immediately start defending himself against the unknown. So whether it was out of fear, curiosity, or faith, Fancy Pants allowed himself the humiliation of being diapered up by the burly mare. He hardly had to do a thing throughout the entire process as the stronger pony easily manipulated his body about as she - rather crudely - pulled off his suit. Pants and all. It was only until he was completely naked that she proceeded to lift his legs up and secure the diaper just right around his tail. A burning blush had emerged on Fancy Pants’s face. It was a deep embarrassment he had hardly felt in awhile. The soft diaper stirred some strange feelings in his body. A tingling excitement that made his back tense up from the alien sensation. Feelings were only amplified by the strange new world Fleur had brought him into. Jump Rope made short work of the diaper change. It was something she had clearly done a hundred times before, suggesting that she had been employed at this so-called spa for quite some time. The moment Fancy Pants’s legs were lowered back down, she already had the diaper pulled up between his legs to be fastened tightly around the stallion’s waist. The diaper was a surprisingly accurate - and surprisingly soft - interpretation of an actual foal’s diaper. It was primarily blue and white with multicolored stars dotting its surface from front to back. There was a certain thickness to be mentioned about its padding, giving Fancy Pants the impression he was being wrapped in a bed comforter rather than some baby garment. “S-surely you have something a little less...infantile?” Fancy Pants meekly piped in, daring only this faint sign of rebellion in the presence of such a large pony. Jump Rope only snorted, scowling at the diaper before stomping back over to the changing table. After rummaging through a dresser that ran alongside the table, she returned to the diapered stallion with a dangling piece of bright blue leather. A rubber nippled pacifier with a white mouth shield could be seen attached to the middle of the piece of leather, but Fancy Pants didn’t have time to examine the strange device for long. Before he could react, Jump Rope had the piece of leather wrapped around his head, crudely fastened and bound across his muzzle. The pacifier was positioned right in the middle of it all, locking it into his mouth. The slick rubber nipple filled out his muzzle, making it impossible to talk beyond the unintelligible grunts he forced out at the intruding device. “Ah’m sure Ms. Iris will appreciate the quiet,” Jump Rope grunted, straightening out her uniform with a huff. Leaving Fancy Pants to his own devices, she stomped her way over to the bedroom door and knocked on it with a hoof. “He’s all set, Ms. Iris!” she called out before turning towards the suite’s main door, exiting without even a glance at the diapered stallion. With the dexterity only seen in a toddler, Fancy Pants pulled himself up off the floor. The diaper around his waist crinkled loudly in the silent room, shifting around his rump with every move he made. His back legs were naturally forced apart by the bulk of the diaper, making him take on a childish, bow legged posture. Just as he was getting his footing in his new attire, the master bedroom door opened and Fleur de Lis came sauntering out. The warm humid scent of a hot shower wafted from behind her. She was out of that beautiful, fancy dress and most makeup she put on for the evening had been scrubbed off. Her mane was undone so that it could flow loosely off her shoulders, giving her more of a relaxed look. “Finally out of those itchy clothes,” she sighed with relief before her eyes landed on the diapered stallion, “I see you’ve found yourself something to wear.” Fancy Pants could only grumble at the outfit, scowling behind his bondage. “Jump Rope certainly enjoys her pacifier gags.” She touched the pacifier’s shield with a tap of her hoof, ”I’ll take this off for now, but I warn you. No yelling. Inside voices while we play. Got it?” Fancy Pants nodded. “Good,” she smiled as she unbuckled the pacifier gag, “now then, I bet you have some questions.” The moment the pacifier was out of his muzzle, Fancy Pants shouted, “what’s this all about?!” “Hush!” Fleur snapped, “inside voices!” She held up the pacifier gag threateningly, but after the brief flare up she took a breath and continued to explain in a calm voice. “I assumed you’d figure things out already. You wanted to spice things up with your games so I wanted to help out with a few things of my own.” “But these...diapers,” Fancy Pants shifted on his feet uncomfortably, “you can’t expect me to keep wearing them.” “Oh, I KNOW you’ll keep wearing them,” Fleur smiled, “because seeing you all dressed up in your cute little outfit makes me happy. And you want me to be happy, don’t you?” “But must they be so...thick?” “Thicker diapers are more absorbent, Goldie,” Fleur winked. “A-absorbant?” Fancy Pants shifted again, huffing reluctantly. “...Alright, Fleur...I-I mean Iris. You win. I’ll try things out...for you.” “That’s the spirit. You’ll enjoy yourself, I promise! All I ask is that you give it a chance. Please?” “Okay, Iris...” Fleur’s smile grew, “marvelous! Now first thing’s first. You and your diaper have some warming up to do. I can’t think of any better way to get a foal and his new diaper better acquainted...” “W-warming up?” Fancy Pants parroted, feeling the color drain from his face. “I’d imagine it’d be easy for you after all that wine you drank,” Fleur smirked. “I-I couldn’t!” “Goldie, I brought you here so you could try something new,” she caressed Fancy Pants’s cheek with a delicate hoof, “just relax and let your diaper do its job.” Fancy Pants blushed and shrunk back. He couldn’t help but notice how Fleur referred to the diapers as his. “Take your time,” she smiled, taking a few steps back. Standing there in the middle of the giant nursery in a new diaper and quite frankly feeling like a complete foal, Fancy Pants found it rather easy to convince himself to do as Fleur said. Not because he wanted to, not entirely, but because of the situation the pretty mare had put him in. Whenever he managed to work up the nerve to look up from his place on top the plush carpet and glance over at Fleur, he found a certain supportive expression on her face, practically encouraging him to wet himself from her looks alone. It was a rather difficult thing for his body to do, despite the support and security Fleur provided with her patient posture and soft disposition. The wine had certainly worked through his system by now, but to openly pee into a diaper seemed to work against decades of going to the bathroom and using the toilet like any grown stallion would. Eventually though, he managed to do the impossible. It took some steady breathing, careful muscle control, and keeping his thoughts steady and blank, but eventually a tiny trickle cut the silence of the room, drawing attention to the front of his diaper. The pristine white and blue diaper vibrated around him a tiny bit before slowly turning yellow and swelling in the front. What started as a small yellow spot grew to encompass the full front of his absorbent diaper, even leaching up the back for Fleur to see. The steady hissing went on for a few minutes. To Fancy Pants it felt like hours. However, after those few short minutes, his bladder grew empty and piddled out the last of the liquid into the diaper that was more than happy to soak up every drop of the stuff. The diaper had swollen up to at least three times its thickness, hardly pausing for a second to consider how silly such a bulk would make the stallion look. A special kind of heated warmth now hugged his backside, further embarrassing him with its close contact with his more intimate parts. “There we go,” Fleur cooed, “that wasn’t so hard, was it? Let that be your first lesson of the evening. It’d be best you learn the rules.” “Rules?” “For starters, you’re not allowed to take off your own diaper,” Fleur explained, “and I expect you to use them properly.” “Oh...those kind of rules,” Fancy Pants blushed. He could only imagine how it felt to willingly avoid the toilet for such an extended period of time. However he hoped that wet diapers were the only thing he’d have to worry about during their stay at the spa. “Second, you’re not allowed to use your magic,” Fleur explained, tapping the stallion’s horn with a hoof. “I trust you won’t break that rule if you know what’s good for you, but if I have to I’ll have that bound up in an inhibitor ring faster than you can blink!” Fancy Pants’s cheeks flared up as he nodded rapidly. “I-I promise,” he squeaked as he looked up to Fleur like a submissive child, hardly wanting to step over any boundaries she might have placed for his new role. Wearing a wet diaper made him feel small, easily embarrassed, and maybe even vulnerable. “There’s one last thing I want to mention before we continue though,” Fleur now added, this time momentary withering of confidence, “while we’re here and playing this little game of ours...” She took a pause to breath. “I want you to call me...mommy,” now it was her time to blush, “...please?” Fancy Pants was beside himself with surprise. He had never expected a mare so beautiful as Fleur would be asking such a sort of thing. But then again he never expected he’d end up wearing a diaper and wetting it just because she asked him to. He could tell this all meant a lot to her and to open up about her desires - no matter how alien they might have been - was difficult. He could understand that much. After a long bit of suspense, he finally smiled warmly. Waddling up to Fleur he pulled her in for a hug which she was more than happy to reciprocate. “I’d be happy to...mommy,” the word didn’t quite sit right on his tongue, but he knew that’d improve with time. It seemed to do the trick however as merely saying the word made Fleur’s hug tighten around him. “Thank you,” Fleur answered with a happy sigh. As they hugged, Fleur used her magic to grab a large baby bottle from an overhead cupboard in the kitchen area. The bottle, much like the diaper around Fancy Pants’s waist, was an upscaled version of the real thing. It was made up of a frosted plastic with little pictures of gemstones decorated its cylindrical face as well as a yellow, rubble nipple to top it off. That bottle, filled with some fresh milk poured from a small glass container from the fridge, was expertly warmed up with Fleur’s magic and floated back over to the mare as she broke free of Fancy Pants’s embrace and made herself comfortable on a small couch nearby. “Hop up here, honey. It’s time for your bottle,” Fleur gave the spot beside her a couple pats. “C-can’t I change first?” “After your bottle,” Fleur replied, “it’ll help you get use to things.” Fancy Pants sighed. Unfortunately that seemed to be the best deal he could make with the mare. Fleur was holding firm. He reluctantly waddled over to the couch, the heavy diaper sloshing and hanging heavily behind him. He felt like a real foal closing the gap between him and the couch, feeling himself shrink with embarrassment with every step. Once again, Fleur saw to it herself that the diapered stallion was carefully helped up onto the couch and lovely positioned just right with his head nestled in her lap. When he was good and comfortable, the bottle was popped into Fancy Pants’s muzzle, lovingly held there by a white furred hoof. The milk was creamy and sweet, almost unusually so. Freshly warmed and soothing to his tense body. Not too hot, not too cold. Despite all that had happened in the past hour or so, Fancy Pants found himself actually relaxing in Fleur’s care. The beautiful mare he had know all this time now gave off a heavenly glow, almost maternal in nature. He felt safe in her lap and it wasn’t just mutual trust that he was feeling this time. Every suckle introduced more warm milk into his belly, calming him down further and further. He cared less about the soggy diaper that weighed so heavily on his crotch. Instead his mind was able to drift off in a strange, half awake daze. He continued to drink down the delicious milk even as his mind calmed to a haze. He made short work of the bottle, keeping up a steady rhythm until the whole thing was empty. The diaper change that followed was almost a blur as the calm bottle feeding left Fancy Pants in a bit of a lethargic haze. He was distantly aware of the bottle being removed and then his body being lifted off the couch by a magical glow and carried over to the changing table. He even was vaguely aware of the diaper squishing underneath him, only to be untaped, loosened and pulled off his body. He started to float back to earth around the same time Fleur was giving his soft furred crotch a liberal powdering, followed shortly by the soft enveloping feel of a new, crinkling diaper. “There we go. Feel better?” “Yeah...” Fancy Pants answered. Despite how silly it was to think about, after spending so long in a wet diaper, he was thankful to be feeling a dry one again. When he rolled off the changing table at the end of it all - with Fleur’s guiding hoof of course - he found that the new diaper brought with it a fresh softness. He also now had that lingering scent of baby powder following him everywhere he went. As if he needed more reminders of his infantile wardrobe. “Why don’t we go for a walk around the spa? Get some fresh air,” “A-A walk in this?” Fancy Pants stammered, his cheeks flaring up as he glanced back at his crinkling diaper, “but what if somepony sees...?” “The only ones who’ll see you like this are staff and other spa goers,” Fleur answered, “and I assure you, they’re into this kind of stuff more than you know.” She opened the main door, allowing the hallway light and harp music to flood into the room. “Now come along, Goldie, follow mommy.” Fancy Pants gulped, his back legs nervously squeezing together and inadvertently squeezing the diaper between them. Every crinkle from the diaper caused another muscle in his back to tense up nervously. A voice in his head told him not to budge and instead hide his shame in the nursery where he was safe from prying eyes. But another voice, a smaller one, screamed at him to walk out the door. The voice was one of trust and curiosity. Fleur, despite the strange nature of it all, really wanted to spice things up with something new and he could see in her eyes that she really wanted him to be part of it. Despite those nerves that twisted inside his chest, he reluctantly followed Fleur back into the hallway, now thickly diapered as her new baby. He had to do it. For her.
Chapter ThreeView OnlineThe Masks We WearChapter ThreeUnder different circumstances, the spa might have been seen as an incredibly relaxing place. Framed paintings of beautiful forests and peaceful glades hung on the soft white walls as the gentle sound of flowing water echoed through the halls. Overhead lighting was never overpowering and encompassed the entire complex in a quiet, unintrusive amber light. It was clear that keeping clients’ minds and bodies relaxed and stress free was an important part in the complex’s construction. If he wasn’t wearing a diaper, Fancy Pants might have even asked if there was a masseuse on staff that could help work out the knots in his shoulders. Past the suites hallway, the complex opened up to a dining area where an array of round tables sat empty with a long buffet table nearby emptied and clean. Off on the farthest wall, a door and closed window appeared to lead to a kitchen area of some sort, but given the hour, most of the staff that worked there were long gone. Opposite from the kitchen window was a long, semi circular window that overlooked a beautiful garden. The garden looked lush and colorful, clearly a project of passion for diligent gardeners and grounds keepers. Despite appearing to be wild in its mixed landscape of ivy covered trees and intensely hued flower beds the area was well looked after and the chaos of nature was lovely trimmed back. “Come along, Goldie,” Fleur nudged the stallion over towards a pair of sliding glass doors that lead outside, “some fresh air will do you good.” Fancy Pants tensed up and hesitated to take another step towards the doors. Even though the garden appeared secluded thanks to a tall, cleverly hidden perimeter fence, he was not too keen on going outside in such a getup. His back legs squeezed together to subtly remind himself of the diaper that bulged out his rear end. Had it been up to him, he would have much prefered to stay here, but Fleur’s guiding hoof was as direct as it was insistent. A breeze of cool air brushed past the two ponies as they walked onto a brick patio that connected the building to the sprawling garden that laid beyond. A gently swerving cobbled path circled the garden, allowing ponies to see everything the area had to offer in one short walk. The walk around the garden certainly helped Fancy Pants relax into this new role. Here among the lily pad filled ponds and the distant chirps of nesting birds, he got use to that ever present crinkle that accompanied every step he took. Being seen in such a thing felt like less of an issue now. Above all else, he developed his trusting faith in Fleur as she was never too far away to give him an assuring nudge in the right direction. Trust was the key here. Fleur spent the slow walk regaling the stallion in some great little anecdotes about the places she traveled to before moving to Canterlot. She chattered along about fond memories and stories that made her heart go all aflutter. She spoke so casually, as if she wasn’t sharing the walk with a someone wearing a diaper. In a way, that made Fancy Pants worry less about his situation. It was for her after all. Ten minutes into the walk Fancy Pants allowed himself to take in a deep breath of air, letting it out slowly as focused on releasing the nervous tension that was knotting itself deep into his lower back. It felt like he had been holding his breath for the past hour. This all wasn’t too bad. In fact, the garden had some of the most beautiful landscape design that he had ever seen in a Canterlot property. Blue leaved trees and rainbow petaled flowers accented vibrantly green grass that twinkled with a magical glow in the moonlight. Even so late at night, the area was filled with happy song birds chirping in the trees. It was all so rather tranquil and helped put his heart at ease. He was so enthralled in the atmosphere and Fleur’s endless supply of joyful stories that he hardly noticed when they returned to the cold brick patio and started to make their way inside. He was much too busy watching the leaves rustle and the chipmunks scurrying about. The diaper didn’t seem all that bad, at least for the moment. The pair returned to the inside after their short half hour walk. Fancy Pants certainly felt more relaxed after such a trip and felt less tense about having to wear a diaper. If anything he was starting to appreciate the snug softness of the diaper. It was silly to think, but the diaper actually felt quite comfy. Fleur’s tour of the spa continued as normal after that. With their little walk around the park behind them, she led Fancy Pants past the dining room and quietly showed her charge the exquisite luxuries that such a place had to offer. It appeared that this place not only had guest rooms and therapeutic baths, but had a few private massage rooms and even a place to take mud baths as well. There was even a small daycare center where diapered ponies could be dropped off while their caretakers enjoyed the more grown up amenities. The tour was thorough, unimposing, and relaxing. Fleur remained patient with her charge, often taking short breaks so that Fancy Pants could rest his legs. Walking around in such a bulky diaper was a tough challenge by itself. The spa’s common room was a spacious area connecting all the hallways throughout the building. It primarily comprised of luxurious accommodations, chic and modern seating, and even had some gentle water features to liven up the place. It was a place ponies could lounge between meals or even find a spot to quietly read a book in. A gold trimmed marble fireplace crackled quietly in the corner of the room, emitting a warmth into the room. There were tables to play games at and a small bookshelf against the far wall filled with books and board games. There was even a small shelf stocked with diapers as if Fancy Pants needed to be reminded of the spa’s primary purpose. “Iris! I’m glad you’re here!” a masculine voice called out as Fleur and Fancy Pants entered the area, “why don’t you come over and sit with us! I’ll introduce you!” Off against one of the far walls of the common room, next to a lovely thin waterfall feature sat a group of four ponies. From the quick glances Fancy Pants would dare throw in their direction he could see a white furred unicorn stallion with blue striped hair who was waving the two over; a pink unicorn mare with a red, violet, and yellow striped mane; an oddly familiar white furred unicorn mare with a curled indigo mane, and a red furred earth pony stallion with orange hair. Who they were exactly was something he couldn’t figure out in such a short amount of time. And given the circumstances, figuring out whether he knew them or not was the least of his problems. Fancy Pants shrunk back behind Fleur, silently hoping she wouldn’t answer the other stallion’s beckoning call. He wanted nothing more than to quietly sneak away and hide in their room, but Fleur happily guided him over to the group of ponies. “Wonderful! We’d be delighted!” she chirped. Closing in on the group Fancy Pants could hide less and less of his embarrassing attire. But none of the new ponies seemed to stare at him or laugh or ridicule him for being a freak. Instead they all sat there in a relaxed, casual state, the kind of posture one would take while on vacation and having no previous engagements to occupy their time. In this surprising discovery, Fancy Pants took the opportunity to examine the group a little more thoroughly. The unicorn stallion who had called the two over to the group was a friendly looking sort who wore a soft, unintimidating smile on his face. Fleur seemed comfortable around him, clearly showing that this wasn’t their first meeting. In fact they seemed like good ol’ friends by the way she smiled back at him and the rest of the group. Any glances the stallion tossed towards Fancy Pants was never judgemental or resembling of a glare. Instead it was of indifference and easygoing in nature. He had a calm and paternal look to him. In the stallion’s lap sat an energetic looking unicorn mare wearing a dress. The pink unicorn was diapered, but it was tough to see that past her brightly colored dress that plumed out with ruffles around her waist. The outfit was a cute mixture of pinks and whites. The cut of the dress’s layered skirt hardly covered up her diaper which was decorated with bright shapes of reds, blues, and yellows. The two of them snuggled in the corner section of a long couch, enjoying each other’s embrace like two lovers. There was an obvious parent/child type of role playing going on between them, but underneath all that they seemed close and trusting of one another. It was like if one were to rip away the diapers and baby talk, the two would have a nice secure safety net to fall back on. “How have you been Stalwart Shield?” Fleur spoke to the unicorn stallion with a happy smile. The kind saved for old friends...or perhaps old lovers. Fancy Pants couldn’t quite figure that out. “Never better,” the white stallion chuckled. “Iris, this is Diamond Cut and Sparkling Cider,” Stalwart motioned towards the other couple, but only the unicorn mare waved back. The white unicorn mare was a beautiful pony who clearly went to great lengths to take care of herself. Her mane was styled into swirling curls of purple with hardly a hair out of place. Her eyes, a beautiful shade of blue, was accented with light blue eyeshadow and long, lush eyelashes. She laid stretched across a long fainting couch where a cheese platter and glass of wine sat not too far away on a little end table beside her. The red stallion was a silent type, hardly saying a word or budging from his spot beside the white unicorn mare. He wore nothing but a plain white diaper and a black leather collar. He was a tall and brawny stallion with an apparent strength that made his diaper all the more silly in appearance. Despite all the conversation happening around him, he remained quiet and unmoving. Occasionally his eyes would throw glances around the group, but at no point did he dare to budge from his at attention pose. “And this troublemaker,” Stalwart tickled under the pink alicorn’s chin, “is my little girl Melody.” “Hi hi!” the unicorn mare Melody exclaimed with childlike enthusiasm. “It’s very nice to meet you all,” Fleur replied with a friendly and inviting smile. “I’d like you all to meet Golden Glass,” she presented Fancy Pants, “he’s, well, he’s new.” “New to the diaper scene?” Stalwart asked. “Yep yep,” Fleur answered with a happy nod, “been trying for awhile now, but I’ve finally got him into one.” “Well it’s very nice to meet you, Goldie,” Stalwart smiled. “Charmed,” Diamond Cut bowed her head. Melody suddenly interjected with an excitable gasp, “does that mean I have a new playmate, Daddy?!” “Haha, you’d have to ask his mommy first, Melody,” Stalwart calmed his charge. “Maybe some other time,” Fleur answered, “I want him to get use to things slowly. Too many new experiences can be frustrating for a little baby.” “Awww,” Melody frowned, but reluctantly plopped back in her seat. Fancy Pants and Fleur joined in with the circle of ponies and found a nice comfortable spot on a plush sofa. He started to take his usual spot beside Fleur on the couch, but was gently coaxed to the ground and forced to sit there instead. The carpeted ground would have likely been an uncomfortable spot to sit, but luckily his diaper gave him an added cushion to sit on. Diamond Cut chimed continued the talk shortly after, never even giving Fancy Pants a glance. “So when did you two arrive?” “Just a few hours ago,” Fleur answered so casually, “we enjoyed a few drinks before I brought him over.” She patted Fancy Pants on the head, causing the stallion to shrink and blush. “You all seem to be up rather late.” “Guess we just lost track of time,” Stalwart chuckled, “hadn’t seen each other in a long long while so we had a lot of catching up to do.” “Just missed a lovely game of Ponopoly,” Diamond Cut added. “I won!” Melody exclaimed with a happy bounce. “We won, sweetie, remember? We played as teams,” Stalwart cooed at the mare. Everyone in the group had a little chuckle, even Fleur joined in. Although Fancy Pants couldn’t help but notice that Sparkling Cider didn’t even dare to smile. After that, conversation continued at a health pace. The group talked about any number of things from the weather to the latest fashion designs coming out of Manehatten. Occasionally diapers were mentioned or talk about how Melody got a new baby toy she was super excited for, but it was all so casual that any pony might mistake it as a couple of parents chatting about their kids. Fancy Pants was much too embarrassed to add anything to the conversation. He spent the whole time trying to keep to himself while avoiding eye contact with any of the ponies. It went against every fiber of his sociable personality, but the diaper prevented him from saying a word. After a short time into the very lovely conversation between these friendly ponies, Fancy Pants felt a burning pressure build up inside him. Deep in his gut stirred a rather urgent impulse. It appeared that the bottle he was fed earlier, as well as whatever Fleur might have mixed it with, was working itself through his body, creating a dire need to use the bathroom that grew even more desperate as time went on. “U-uhm...Iris?” Fancy Pants spoke with a small voice, but Fleur seemed to ignore him. “M-mommy?” he tried again, this time with an even quieter voice. “Yes sweetie?” Fleur answered that time, matching the whispering volume of the stallion. “I have to...go...” Fancy Pants blushed, feeling silly to say such a thing. “D’aww. Thank you for letting me know, Goldie, but you don’t need my permission,” she whispered back, patting his head, “just go whenever you need to go.” Fancy Pants frowned at the reply. It wasn’t exactly the response he was looking for. A small voice in his head reminded him that he was wearing a diaper, but he had kind of hoped it wouldn’t have to come to that. At least so soon. Still he quietly returned to his spot in front of the couch, silently glancing up at the group as they all chattered away. “So I heard the Crystal Kingdom is hosting this years Summer Sun Celebration,” Diamond Cut was heard saying as Fancy Pants stared blankly at the ground. “The Kingdom is all in a frenzy over it,” Stalwart chuckled, “everypony is doing their best to ensure the festival is the best there ever was!” “Daddy,” Melody groaned weakly. “Sorry baby,” Stalwart chuckled as he rustled the mare’s tri-colored mane, “it’d be best to change the subject. Little Melody hates being reminded of work. Those big girl thoughts can wait till AFTER our vacation.” All it took was a playful tickle under the chin to turn the groaning mare into a giggling filly who squirmed in her daddy’s lap with a happy smile. When he felt no one else was looking his way, Fancy Pants adjusted himself so that he was sitting on his knees. It seemed the more natural pose for the infantile crime he was about to commit. Once he was in position, his groaning gut cooperated immediately and followed any orders his embarrassed mind had to reluctantly give out. Whatever orders it gave out, however, were meek, quiet, and encouraged the highest amount of discretion. It was a strange thing to attempt. To openly soil himself as quietly as possible so that he didn’t draw attention to himself. Five other ponies sat not ten feet away from him, but he still attempted to keep things quiet. He took things slow, focused heavily on keeping any built up gas under control as he pushed down on his gut little by little. In a merciful sign of luck, he managed to squeeze the large mass of stink out of his bowels and into the waiting diaper without a peep, or at least so he thought. “Daddy, the new baby made a stinky!” Melody exclaimed, pointing an accusative hoof in Fancy Pants’s direction. Fancy Pants turned ten shades of white as he looked up in terror. “It’s rude to point, sweet cakes,” Stalwart answered, lowering the mare’s pointing hoof, “I’m sure he can’t help it. Babies have accidents all the time.” “Not me though, daddy!” Melody exclaimed proudly, “I’m a big girl!” “You try to be, but you’re still having night time accidents, remember?” The pink unicorn shrunk back. “Th-those are...those are different...” “Of course sweetie,” Stalwart chuckled, patting the unicorn’s head before turning to Fleur, “it seems your little one has made a little mess, Miss Iris.” He said this so casually. “I can change him for you if you’d like.” “I appreciate it, Stalwart, but I can handle things just fine,” Fleur politely bowed her head at the offer. “I don’t know why you bother getting your hooves dirty, darling,” Diamond Cut scoffed, “I hardly touch the filthy things.” “But what happens when your charge needs a change?” Fleur couldn’t help but inquire. “I have him change himself,” Diamond Cut answered, throwing a glance at the standing red stallion, “IF I let him change.” It was subtle, but Fancy Pants noticed Sparkling Cider gulping at Diamond Cut’s comment. “I think it’s time for little Goldie’s nap anyway,” Fleur finally said, “we’ve had a big day today, huh? So many new experiences.” “Say bye bye, Goldie.” “Have a good nap, kiddo,” Stalwart waved. “Bye bye!” Melody added. “Sleep well. See you tomorrow,” Diamond Cut said as she raised a glass. Sparkling Cider simply nodded in Fancy Pants’s direction. Fancy Pants was much too embarrassed to even muster up a polite ‘goodnight’ to the friendly ponies. His face burned with a hot blush and he couldn’t pull his head up from the humiliated slump it had obtained. He shrunk as small as he possibly could as he waddled away from the scene with Fleur guiding him back to the room. “Alright, a diaper change, and then it's off to bed with you,” Fleur chirped with a motherly flare once they returned to their suite, “baby’s had a big day!” Fancy Pants could only nod, waddling his way off to the changing table without another word. He was more than happy to rid himself of the heavy bulk that sloshed and clung to his backside. The quicker he got a diaper change, the quicker he’d no longer stink. Fleur seemed to pick up on this and wasted no time in changing Fancy Pants’s messy diaper. Even when the diaper opened she showed no signs of disgust or turning green. She instead handled the whole ordeal like any experienced mother, wiping the stallion down, replacing the messy diaper with a fresh one, and then powdering up the new one that was promptly wrapped around his waist. With a glow of Fleur’s magic, Fancy Pants was lifted into the air, alongside his old stinky diaper that was rolled up into a tight ball. For a brief moment, the diaper and stallion crossed paths, reminding Fancy Pants of the positively infantile ordeal he was put through. Maybe it was the calming relief of the fresh diaper, but looking back at the whole thing now, filling his diaper in public seemed kind of...fun. The old diaper was tossed into the nearby diaper pail as Fancy Pants was laid into the open crib. Fleur climbed up into the open crib and placed his head in her lap. She passed the time by gently stroking through his light blue mane. “So...Golden Glass,” she started, “how are you...liking it so far?” “It’s certainly...different...” Fancy Pants replied, “kinda nice, I guess.” “I know it was embarrassing to have an accident in front of the others, but I wanted a genuine reaction.” “The...others didn’t seem all that phased by it.” “Haha, it’s only expected. Babies wear diapers and sometimes babies have stinky accidents.” For a moment Fleur lost herself in the adorable memory and chuckled about it like a proud mother. She quickly regathered herself however. “...it wasn’t too much for you, was it?” “No...just...unexpected,” Fancy Pants answered, “so you’ve done this before?” Fleur chuckled, “oh a couple times. Don’t worry, nothing got too involved. Mostly it was babysitting Melody.” “You babysat her?” “It’s all part of the game,” Fleur said, “she has a very stressful job and it means the world to her to be able to relax and act like a toddler for a little bit.” “And...Stalwart is okay with you...playing with her?” “I told you, sweetie, it’s all part of the game,” Fleur replied, “he’s already married to the girl and trusts we won’t do anything that would upset him.” Trust, Fancy Pants thought, trust seemed to be a key part of this whole thing. “Now I think that’s enough grown up talk for now. It’s time for bed,” Fleur said, gently guiding Fancy Pants’s head off her lap and down onto the soft pillow below, “rest up and in the morning let me know if you have any other questions, alright?” “Okay,” Fancy Pants nodded, “goodnight...mommy.”
Chapter FourView OnlineThe Masks We WearChapter Four☀☀☀ Chapter Four ☀☀☀ Throughout the night, Fancy Pants's dreams were...hard to pin down. He found himself rapidly switching between barely visible dreamscapes, often only spending mere minutes in one before the whole scene changed. What he managed to dream up felt incorporeal and not quite there. The images that swam through his dreaming head felt distant, yet incredibly real and impactful. The actual details of the dreams were difficult to recall, even moments after waking up. He could faintly recall flying around fluffy clouds in one dream and then swimming in a tropical spring in the next. That little bit was remembered. However one thought that lingered in his mind as he woke up was an overall feeling of fuzzy comfort. Like his heart was wrapped up in a fluffy warm blanket. When morning came, he was greeted by warm, blue sunlight filtering through thin curtains and the wooden bars of his crib. It took a moment or two for him to remember where he was as highlights of last night came flooding back. The feeling of the bulky diaper between his legs certainly made that thought easier to remember. He sluggishly pulled himself up, yawning as he rubbed his tired face. “Morning, Goldie," Fleur smiled through the bars, "sleep well?” "M-mhmm," Fancy Pants so groggily answered back, rubbing the sleepies out of his eyes. “Good to hear,” Fleur answered as she magically lowered the crib’s gate and helped him out of bed. Yawning some more, Fancy Pants sluggishly pulled a trail of bed sheets out with him as he climbed out of bed. His diaper crinkled subtly between his legs as his feet delicately touched the soft carpet floor. Stretching his legs out in random directions, he stole a glance at his diapered behind. He had almost completely forgotten about that diaper. The cushiony padding that was once bulky and unwieldy now came with a hint of comfort. He felt safer knowing that it was there. About midstretch, he felt a hoof brush across the length of his diaper. Rather invasively, Fleur gave his diaper a careful and complete check, poking and prodding the crinkly thing from every angle. He had half a mind to move his backside away from the maternal mare, but he had to remind himself not to. He had to trust her. Trust. Finding the diaper dry, Fleur guided the stallion over to the dresser where she extracted an adult sized onesie out from the second drawer. The onesie was made of a white cloudy colored fabric that was absolutely soft to the touch. Little cartoon airships of blues, oranges, and greens dotted the whole surface from the tightly trimmed blue collar down to the crotch flaps bound together by plastic snaps. “Hooves up, Goldie,” Fleur said as she magically floated the onesie overhead. Fancy Pants followed suit and was soon enveloped in the baby soft fabric of the form fitting onesie. “This’ll be your first day in your new role so it’ll be a lot to take in,” Fleur explained, tugging the onesie down across the stallion's chest, “if you ever feel uncomfortable, just say the word and we’ll slip back in here, alright?” “M-mhmm,” Fancy Pants gulped as the onesie’s material was tugged tightly down his front and the crotch flaps were snapped closed around his diaper. The properly sized garment fit just right around his body, keeping the diaper snuggly against his crotch. It was amazing that Fleur got his measurements so accurate. Once freshened up for the day, the pair entered the spa’s common area once more. There was a louder buzz of activity around the area during this time of day and Fancy Pants realized there were more ponies here than he thought. Spa attendants, wearing white trimmed black uniforms could be seen tending to their daily tasks, mopping floors, cleaning tables, and ensuring their guests were well looked after. The spa’s payroll included ponies of all walks of life from pegasi to earth ponies to unicorns. Like any other hotel or lodge, it took all kinds of workers to keep the whole thing running smoothly. A few guests besides the group Fancy Pants was introduced to last night could be seen walking about, paying the diapered stallion very little mind as they went about their business. Some of them wore elaborate, yet infantile outfits while others wore absurdly bulgy diapers that made them waddle goofily around the room. Not too far from these foalish ponies were their caretakers or their assigned spa worker, each one dotting over their charges in their own special way. It seemed that each diapered pony wasn't short of a caretaker or two ready to wipe the drool off their faces or play silly games with them. These diaper ponies and caretakers might have very well been part of Canterlot’s social elite, Fancy Pants deduced, giving the spa’s exclusive club-like atmosphere and secretive nature. However he respected the individuals’ privacy by not prying too much about that. He was sure he could have easily figured out who each of these ponies were if he was given some time to talk to them, but then he had to remind himself of his own situation. He certainly wouldn’t want ponies to figure him out as well. Breakfast was being served inside the main dining room and most ponies were trickling in to enjoy their meal. A long table against the far wall was covered in a wide selection of breakfast foods from steamy scrambled eggs to fresh fruit. A window in the wall opened up to a bustling kitchen where ponies in chief uniforms cooked up a frenzy, wafting delicious scents into the room. It was a delectable spread of freshly prepared foods that made Fancy Pants's mouth water at the very sight of it. He wanted nothing more than to dive straight into the buffet line and grab himself a hefty plate of food, but Fleur had other plans. Before he could trail much farther from her, he was guided over to a line of high chairs that hugged the western wall. Each one was made of a high polished, dark wood with sanded down corners to avoid any uncomfortable sharp edges. The trays were made of a thick, easy to clean plastic that was attached to the front of the chairs by means of metal rails on either side. “Up you go, Goldie,” Fleur said as she magically opened up one of the chairs. Keeping his blushing face low, Fancy Pants climbed up into the vacant chair and watched as Fleur slipped the tray back into place, locking him inside. He tried his best not to look around the room aside from an arid glance. Sitting in a highchair among a dozen prying eyes made him feel more vulnerable than he would have liked. “Now you sit tight while I get us some num-nums, alright?” Fleur cooed, seemingly unaffected by the stallion’s reservations. He could only muster a little nod as she scurried off to the breakfast table. Normally Fancy Pants liked to start his day with a stiff cup of tea with sugar and cream, but Fleur didn't seem to aim for that. She instead piled high a healthy spread of a well balanced breakfast fit for any foal. Soft foods like oatmeal and blueberries took up most of the serving tray as well as an adult sized sippy cup sloshing with apple juice. It really shouldn’t have surprised him that a place like this would have a supply of that. Extra utensils and other amenities were laid out on a table next to the breakfast buffet, providing an ample supply of spoons, napkins, and cutlery. There was also a selection of bulky plasticware - likely a favorite among the diaper wearing ponies - and a number of colorful bibs. Tending to the whole lot was a young, pale yellow unicorn attendant, dressed finely in the usual black and white trimmed spa uniform. Fleur, being the friendly social butterfly that she was, gleefully stopped to exchange a few words with the young unicorn. The attendant certainly looked quite young, hardly a few years out of college. He seemed more than happy to flaunt what the spa had to offer during the meal, showing off the selection of bibs and bonnets that laid neatly folded in stacks on the table beside him. They chatted for a bit, the young unicorn went into further detail on the design of the bibs and bonnets that decorated his display table until finally Fleur said her farewells and trotted back to her charge. “A-a bib?” Fancy Pants squeaked, almost in a whine when he saw Fleur finally trotting back with the food. A light blue bib hung off the edge of the tray like an infantile flag. “We need to keep that cute little onesie of yours clean, don’t we?” Fleur countered, placing the food in front of him, “it’s all part of the game, Goldie. You’ll love it! Trust me,” Fleur smiled with that sweet warming smile she wore so well. Fancy Pants sighed and allowed Fleur to finish, leaning his head forward. The bib was a light blue with a cloud pattern striping across its surface. Silky soft ribbons neatly bowed behind his neck ensured the fabric freshener smelling accessory would remain hanging squarely on his chest, as if the highchair and onesie wasn’t eye catching enough. “Okay, tell you what,” Fleur said as she reached for the spoon, “I’ll let you feed yourself for a few bites and then I’ll take over, alright?” Fancy Pants sighed again and reluctantly agreed. It sounded like the deal wasn’t going to get any better than that. “But,” Fleur was quick to add, “remember our little rules, Goldie. No magic.” Eating with his hooves wasn’t an impossible request - he wasn’t completely reliant on his magic after all - but Fancy Pants was quick to notice that wielding the spoon with his hooves lacked the same kind of elegance and fluidity as using his magic. He had almost forgotten how imprecise one’s hooves could be. He never spilled anything while he fed himself - a mark of pride, he assumed - however it might have not been as graceful as years of attending royal banquets had conditioned his telekinetic prowess. He felt like he was just getting the hang of things before the spoon glowed a sparkling magenta and floated out of his grip. “You did well, Goldie,” Fleur cooed, floating the spoon down into the bowl of oatmeal, ”but now it’s time for mommy to take over!” The food was delicious, Fancy Pants found, even if it was mostly mushy baby food and fruit. The oatmeal was clearly some work of passion by some skilled chief rather than just being some bargain bin mix purchased at a store. There was very little he could find to complain about the meal, despite having it in a highchair while wearing a bib. Or maybe he was just hungry. “Goldie!” a familiar voice called out across the way. Held in the arms of Stalwart came an energetic Melody waving enthusiastically over to Fancy Pants. She was dressed in, what Fancy Pants assumed, to be her night time pajamas, a one piece footed outfit that appeared to be made of a soft and delicate purple and pink striped fabric. Each hoof was cushioned with non slip pads on the bottom for extra comfort. “Good morning, you two “ Fleur chuckled, “sleep well?” “Like a baby,” Stalwart chuckled as he carried Melody over to a high chair beside Fancy Pants’s. As they neared the line of chairs the pink unicorn started to squirm eagerly in Stalwart's arms. With well tuned fatherly instincts, he was quick to control her. “Now hold on, Melody. We have to undress you, remember? Can’t have you getting food all over your pretty pjs.” Melody nodded and allowed her caretaker to lower her to the ground. She could hardly stand still as she was so excited to have some breakfast. The sleeper was unzipped from the back, allowing Stalwart to undress his squirming charge. Out from the back of the clothing popped out a pair of pink feathered wings, surprising Fancy Pants. The giggling Melody squirmed and wiggled her feet out of the soft fabric, shedding her jammies and allowing them to gather under her. Fancy Pants had to respectfully look away with a blush as Melody climbed out of her outfit in nothing but a diaper. Somehow seeing the mare in nothing but a diaper felt more taboo than when she was fully dressed. He tried his hardest to focus on his meal, opening his mouth for spoonful after spoonful of the bland baby mush. As Stalwart gathered the pile of pajamas and folded them up, Melody clambered up into the highchair next to Fancy Pants’s, handling the task just like any other toddler would. Stalwart, being the protective caretaker he was, helped guide the mare into her seat and snuggly fastened the tray into place once she was comfortable. She was then given a toddler meal of sliced strawberries, applesauce, oatmeal, and a piece of hazelnut spread covered toast all served on a dinosaur themed plastic tray. A big plastic spoon sat on the tray beside all the food, ready for Stalwart to pick up and begin feeding his charge. “Do you know if the other two will be joining us?” Fleur asked. “Most likely not,” Stalwart answered, dabbing some applesauce off of Melody's chin, “Diamond Cut likes to give Cider his meals in private. Things can sometimes get...” he paused, throwing a glance at Melody as he chose his words carefully, “noisy.” “Well that’s a shame,” Fleur shrugged, “hope she doesn’t keep him in there all day.” “You know how focused Diamond can get,” Stalwart answered back, “wouldn’t be surprised if she kept him in bindings all day again!” Fancy Pants swallowed his meal with shaky breaths. He couldn’t help but wonder what Diamond and Cider did behind closed doors. What sort of naughty things did they enjoy in the privacy of their bedrooms? How noisy did these things actually get? Having just been introduced to this world of diapers and submission, he was curious about a lot of the things that those two were doing. Morbid curiosity, but curiosity all the same. Meanwhile Melody was enthusiastically eating her meal. When Stalwart didn’t have time to carefully feed her, she mischievously tried to feed herself. She spent most of the meal slobbering over her hooves as she sloppily scooped up oatmeal and shoving what she could into her mouth. Most of the time this led to her spilling the food down her front where the bib caught what stray food it could. It took maybe twenty minutes for her to finish her meal, but in that short time her bib became splotchy with colorful slobber and oatmeal stains. Fancy Pants found a little bit of solace in the fact that he managed to get through his own breakfast without nearly as many slobber stains. When the meal was done, Stalwart untied Melody’s bib and used whatever clean spots of the bib to clean Melody’s face off of food. “Such a good girl eating all of her breakfast!” he praised, making the mare giggle and kick her feet happily. Once all that was done, the bib was placed on the tray next to the empty plate and the tray was pulled out of the way. Fancy Pants knew it wasn't proper to stare, but his burning curiosity got the better of him. Melody's diaper, starting the meal as a pristine white, was now greatly swollen and hued a deep yellow from front to back. It was almost impressive to see such a transformation. “Uh oh! Looks like somepony got a soggy diapee!” Stalwart exclaimed. Melody giggled, squirming in her squishy seat as she bashfully hid her face behind her hooves. With a glow of Stalwart’s magic, she was lifted back out of the chair. Muffled giggled slipped out of her covered muzzle as her back legs kicked and wiggled in the air. “Better go change the little sog monster,” Stalwart chuckled with a pat of Melody's soggy diaper bottom, “would you care to join me, Iris?” He then so casually turned toward Fancy Pants. “Oh and you’re invited too, Goldie.” Fancy Pants was amazed Stalwart could so casually talk to him like he wasn't an adult stallion wearing nothing but a diaper and bib in a highchair. It was almost remarkable how laid back he was about the whole thing. “I would love to join you!” Fleur cheered, “and don’t worry about Goldie. He can behave himself for a few minutes by himself, right?” Fancy Pants blushed, but he still nodded. Fleur smiled at the response and gave the stallion a nice pat on the head, “we won’t be long.” “Okay, OFF we go!” Stalwart exclaimed, bouncing Melody in the air, ”can’t have the little princess leaving puddles everywhere!” “Don’t worry, Goldie. We’ll be back,” Fleur assured, “oh, but before I go.” With a pale magenta glow of her horn Fleur smoothly untied Fancy Pants’s bib in one swift motion, quickly swapping it out for Melody’s which was tied around his neck just as quickly. The food stained bib hung heavily off his neck as flecks of dried oatmeal clung to its surface. Repulsed by the messy thing, he opened his mouth to complain, but Fleur was already heading out the door by the time he looked back up. That left Fancy Pants alone in his highchair, forced to just sit there wearing nothing but a diaper, a onesie, and a very messy bib that wasn’t even his. Left alone with his thoughts, he felt vulnerable again and anxious. He tried his best not to look around the room too much, as if making eye contact with another guest would somehow make him feel even more embarrassed. The dining room still buzzed around him as ponies came and went as he waited. Ponies even around his age shamelessly covered their faces with food and babbled as their caretakers tried their best to keep things neat and tidy. Diapers were put proudly on display rather than being hidden under layers of clothing. Some diapered ponies giggled, others cried, while others stood in the middle of the room to wet their diapers. No matter what they were doing during their childish role playing, Fancy Pants couldn’t help but notice an overall feeling of liberation and freedom among the ponies. It was like they could do anything their regressed minds could think of at a place like this. That somehow made him feel a little embarrassed for them. Maybe it was because it called attention to his own predicament. He simultaneously envied the wanton behavior and felt himself shying away from it. He couldn’t quite seem himself doing such audacious and infantile acts. At least not in such a public setting. And just before he felt too vulnerable, Fleur returned with a little hop in her step. “Wonderful news, Goldie!” she chirped, magically undoing his bib and getting the stallion cleaned up, “we have a playdate this afternoon!” "Playdate?" Fancy Pants parroted as his face was wiped clean with the clean edges of the bib. “Stalwart just needs to get Melody ready,” Fleur added, “they’ll meet us in our room later.” Fancy Pants could only nod as he climbed out of the highchair. A playdate? He wasn't sure to expect from such a thing. Was that code? Or was it literally a playdate? He was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice the very brief diaper check Fleur gave him. The diaper had remained completely dry throughout the meal, despite the two large cups of apple juice he had with the meal. He managed to keep it all held in all morning. He was still trying to make heads or tails out this spontaneous playdate long after the two returned to their room. And would he be able to use the restroom before they got started? Author's Note Wow, this story was on quite the lengthy hiatus. As I've said before, I don't quite know how to control my muse. Where she tells me to write, I write. I've spent the past couple of months adding bits and pieces to a couple other projects, but this one seems to be the only one at the moment that was lengthy enough to post as a chapter. I have a few more ideas to put into this story. Some safe and cozy. Some lewdish and lustful. It'll all be worked into the story in time in later chapters. I do hope everyone's having a good day!
