Celestia declares Luna "banished" rather dramatically after a fight about pancakes gets out of hand. While Celestia quickly admits she just wants Luna out of the castle for awhile, Luna suspects there is a much different motivation behind sending her away. Luna certainly isn't happy about the situation, but being a proper princess she accepts her "banishment" with grace. Sweet Apple Acres seems an odd choice, but Luna has long since stopped questioning her older sister's decisions.
