Sunset was walking with Cloud when the ground started shaking, Sunset growled “Why is there a bloody stampede happening right now?!”

Cloud shrugged “A snake scared some cows, it happens sometimes not often but it does.”

Sunset facehooved “Great, am I going to have to deal with th...” The shaking stopped, Sunset frowned as she approached the centered of town to see Applejack talking to the cows.

Rainbow flew over with a smile “Applejack is quite reliable, she is helping Pinkie later with some baking” she then frowned “She has to take care of the farm by herself because Big Mac got injured, she refused my help and I’m not sure why.”

Sunset frowned “I believe we should be observe her carefully, we don’t want her to overdo it.”

Cloud nodded “I agree with that sentiment.” Two hours later everypony was outside the town hall, Cloud frowned “Where is Applejack, shouldn't she be here?”

Rainbow frowned “This could be troublesome, she is usually quite punctual.”

Mayor Mare then announced with a smile “It is my pleasure to give Applejack the Pony of Ponyville award.” Everyone looked around with concern.

Rarity trotted over to Sunset “Where do you think Applejack is?”

Sunset frowned “I’m not sure I hope she’s alright. I know that she can be stubborn at times, I just she doesn’t let it get the better of her.”

Pinkie bounced over excitedly “She’ll be fine she’s coming over to bake muffins with me. I am so excited!”

Sunset, Rainbow and Cloud’s eyes narrowed as they saw Applejack tiredly approached the stage. Applejack stumbled upon the stage, she yawned a few times “Thank ya.. Miss Mayor…for this … award, it’s quite bright .. and shiny.”

Fluttershy trotted over to the group with a slight frown “She looks tired, I hope she can help me with the official bunny census?”

Rainbow smiled “Don’t worry Fluttershy, if she can’t I will help.”

Fluttershy smiled at Rainbow “Thanks Rainbow.”

Sunset frowned “I am going to check on Applejack. Rainbow, Cloud I may need your help.”

Rainbow and Cloud nod flying alongside Sunset as they make a beeline for Sweet Apple Acres. The three arrive to see Applejack bucking trees, Sunset ran over “Applejack, you looked incredibly tired at the meeting.You really need to take a break.”

Applejack shook her head “No, Sunset I have to prove to my bother I can take care of the farm on my own! I won’t let you stop me!”

Sunset growled “You are going to hurt yourself like Big Mac did, at least have a drink or something?!”

Applejack growled bucking Sunset away “No!!”

Sunset roared nursing her side “Fine then but if somepony gets hurt I will stop you by force!” Sunset stormed away.

Rainbow frowned “We aren’t going to try stop her anymore.”

Sunset took a deep breath “If I stayed I would have said something we would all regret, I’m going home but if something happens tell me.”

Cloud growled “I am quite pissed of myself, if we stayed even if Sunset didn’t beat to a pulp I would have!”

Rainbow nodded “I’ll keep an eye on Applejack, you two go home and get some time to relax.”

Ten minutes later Cloud and Sunset were sitting on the lounge snuggling under a blanket a with a cup of hot chocolate each. Sunset looked around “Where’s Spike?”

Cloud shrugged “Spike went out to get something from Sugarcube Corner, he should be back shortly.”

Sunset gave cloud a peck on the cheek “Do you want to have some fun?” Cloud grinned and the two headed upstairs. Two hours later the two were lying on the bed, having just had a quick shower.

Rainbow burst in “Applejack has poisoned multiple ponies with muffins!” Sunset and Cloud backflipped off the bed, Sunset levitating her jacket onto her body “Let’s go.”

Cloud nodded “Agreed, we need to stop this now.”

Sunset turned to Rainbow “Get Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity to help us. We’ll handle Applejack.”

Rainbow nodded flying into the distance, Sunset picked up Cloud as she stepped outside “You are two slow for this.” Before Cloud could even speak a sonic boom dissipated into the ground as Sunset burst of fin a mighty rush of speed.

Cloud groaned as she was placed down at the farm “Next time you do that give me some warning, I almost blacked out.”

Sunset blushed in embarrassment “Sorry, I just was in a hurry.”

Cloud gave her a small kiss “Don’t worry about it, just don’t do it again unless we are in danger.”

The two saw Applejack miss a tree, Sunset waved her claws as they glowed with magic. A light glow of magic around Applejack formed causing the Earth pony to fall asleep. Sunset carried her to their home, Big Mac raised an eyebrow. Sunset frowned “She poisoned half the town due to exhaustion, I cast a light sleeping spell. Me and my friends will handle her chores if that isn’t a problem?”

Big Mac smiled “Eenope.”

Two days Applejack woke up to see Sunset, Rainbow, Cloud, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie in her room. Applejack looked around “What happened with the harvest?’

Sunset frowned “We took care of it.” Applejack was about to shout when she was cut off by Sunset “Applejack, you poisoned half the town because you were tired to think coherently. We are your friends and you need to trust with problems you can’t handle by yourself.”
