Thunderstrike frowned “We need to get this elevator operating.”

Cool Shades growled as she heard the sound of hooves “Well then you better hurry up, we have enemies incoming.” Boulder, Storm and Cool pulled out their firearms as several Majini burst into the area.

Between the three of them they were able to hold off the onrushing hordes long enough for the elevator to be activated and they all got in. Thunderstrike growled as when they reached the top using his martial art skills to fight his way out, Boulder punched his way out while Cool used her knife to clear a path for her while Storm kept them at bay with her firearm.

They soon made their way to a door over a couple of ladders all while holding off the onrushing Majini, Thunderstrike frowned as he began operating the electronic lock next to the door. Storm growled as she heard the sound of a chainsaw “Are you kidding me, another one of them?!

Cool frowned “Great, another Chainsaw wielding maniac. What are we supposed to do about this one?!”

Boulder grinned as the chainsaw wielder jumped down, he pummelled the Chainsaw wielding Majini so many times that it succumbed right in front of them. Cool mumbled something before Thunderstrike shouted “I got the door open!” The four of them headed through the door.

The four of them saw Fatal Blade on a boat, Cool shouted as she ran towards the boat with Boulder galloping behind “We’re going to get on that boat!” The other two followed , Cool and Boulder leapt onto the boat leaving Storm and Thunderstrike behind.

Thunderstrike pointed to a boat on the other end of the oil field “We need to follow them.”

Meanwhile countless Majini run out to attack Boulder and Cool, Cool smiles slightly as she defend herself with a knife (I never thought I would be working alongside Boulder again. Always being a damn showoff.) It wasn’t long before Storm joined them as the Majini were cleared out.

Fatal Blade growled “You got lucky but not this time!” He stabbed a syringe into his foreleg, he mutated into a massive blob like creature covered in claws. The three dodged out of the way before firing multiple bullets into hulking monstrosity. After several minutes they managed to bring the hulking monster down.

Storm frowned “Where should we go know.”

Cool sighed “Well Sunset sent me here, there is a nearby cave that has a lot of recent Medigas activity. We may wish to check the cave, it may hold the origins of the what is going on here.”

Thunderstrike called out “It would be easier to get to the cave in a smaller boat, come on we need to go.” The group arrived in the a cave with a Medigas building on the inside.

Storm frowned “Hmm, what does Medigas have to do with this place?”

Cool frowned “Well we’ll find out if we keep moving.” The four equines headed further into the caves clearing out several buglike Plagas before arriving in a deep underground village

Boulder grimaced “This is starting to seem like we’re in a Daring Doo book, all we need to do is run away from a Boulder while jumping over pits.”

Cool grimaced “I hope that doesn’t happen.”They headed through the village clearing at multiple Majini as they went before they ran to a small wheel released a bunch of flaming boulder where the group of four ran past only for a huge boulder to fall behind them.

Storm growled “Run!” The area started as they rapidly bolter away form the boulder jumping over pits before escaping the long winding hallways.

Thunderstrike panted while pointed a hoof at Boulder “You… are … not … allowed.. to .. make … prediction ... anymore.”

Cool growled “Seconded.”

Storm took a deep breath “Motion carried.” Boulder rubbed the back of his head as they glared at him as if daring him to defend himself. The group then move through a labyrinth of various staircases using statues to move through the large underground area.

Once again the twisted creature pulled through the weird batbug thing, the four of them shrugged it off and kept moving. They then arrive in area where mirrors are used to send giant beams of solar fire towards the ground, Cool Shade grimaced “Well that’s just great.”

Storm frowned “Come on this way.” The group travelled through the area, avoiding the solar powered flames while clearing out the Majini while collecting certain symbolic slates. They then used those slates to move further, after travelling through a pyramid and clearing out more Majini they arrived in a underground garden.

Cool sighed “I know of this place, I did some digging into Sunshield’s founders and this is where they started. This is where the original progenitor virus was created, the basis for all other viruses.”

Storm frowned “I’m not sure about you, you have been following us over the course of our entire mission. Why?”

Cool frowned “Sunset wanted me here, if she came here directly our enemy would likely run off and try again at another time. I am here because we both need to take out our enemy.”

Thunderstrike frowned “Who is this enemy you are speaking of?”

Cool turned to Boulder “He knows, after all how else would Lightning Valkyrie be here if he wasn’t.”

Boulder growled “So Badass is here, I will destroy him for all he has done!” Storm raised an eyebrow when Cool flinched slightly. The group headed into a lab that had several papers, and flowers as well as a huge amount of technology devoted to studying the Progenitor Virus. They exit the room only to see Lickers in glass cases, the sneak past many of them until they find a room with an elevator.

Boulder and Thunderstrike find an elevation machine, they stay down while the other two go up an elevation platform in order to activate the proper elevator. Only for countless Lickers to assault them, after managing to clear then out to clear them out they managed to activate the elevation platform and all four of them got up to the top.

The group arrive in a massive circular room that was clearly a violation of Health Safety. They were unaware of the fight that was about to happen.
