Choose Your Fate: Equestria Girls!

Rainbow gave a rough bite on her lower lip, knowing Fluttershy was always wonderful on her own but excelled when teaming up with a friend. Hopping out of her car she slowly took a calm stroll over to her friend's side, Fluttershy gazing up in a welcoming smile before her vibrant colorful friend took a seat on the edge of the fountain.

“Couldn't help but notice, you were looking down.” Rainbow smirked as she gave her friend a playful push on her shoulder.

“Well, I just heard some frightful news.” Fluttershy gave a small sigh, wrapping herself in a tight hug as she fought back tears.

“You can tell me Fluttershy, I'm always down for a challenge!” The pastel blue girl swung up in excitement, clutching her fist as if ready for a battle.

“Well, the Canterlot Homeless Shelter is about to close down…” Fluttershy gave a saddened reply, her eyes shifting to the clear water of the fountain.

“But that's so uncool, why!?” Rainbow felt as if a person punched her right in the gut, a sense of apathy flowing over her.

“Lack of funds, even less volunteers.” Fluttershy covered her eyes in sadness, sobbing aloud as if she had failed herself.

“Hmm!” Rainbow stood there in a numb silence, looking across the parking lot before spotting Octavia near her car getting ready to leave.

Rainbow knew she was besties with Vinyl, her feet carrying her as fast as she could run. The large beige car pulling out of the lot slowly, Rainbow feeling herself fly through the air as she made a leap for it.

Crashing loudly onto the hood of Octavia's car with a dull flop, the vehicle slammed to a sudden stop before Rainbow went flying off into the distance with a thud.

“Um, can I help you!?” Tavi spoke confused, her head sticking out of her window.

Rainbow felt as if she just went ten rounds with a semi truck, sitting up on the ground with a dazed look on her face.

“Can you totally do me a favor?” Rainbow spoke before plopping down onto the cool asphalt below.

The Canterlot Homeless Shelter was jumping with excitement and buzz like no other, a huge crowd of young adults of every kind stretching down the sidewalk. All ready to sign up as volunteers to help out, Octavia sitting at a small table out front taking donations with a cheerful smile.

The shelter just shattering their two thousand dollar goal, by three extra thousand!

Within the building a huge crowd of people were helping to prepare food for the night, others talking up the guests of the shelter joyously. Fluttershy dancing around the building happily taking volunteer signatures, Vinyl on her awesome DJ booth playing music for the crowd.

“You're like 20% cooler for agreeing to help out!” Rainbow spoke in a happy tone of voice, helping to carry out a huge tray of freshly baked bread to the shelter's guest.

Vinyl flashing a beaming smile before lifting her tiny hand in a thumbs up.

Rainbow looked across the crowded room happily, the young and old chatting in excitement. Nobody was treated any differently here, the community coming together as one for a good cause that would last for years to come.

Because there was no better place to be, but here right now.
