Ten years have passed since Twilight and Spike came to Ponyville and now all of Equestria's enemies have been defeated. With no more need for the Elements of Harmony, the Mane 6 have gotten caught up with their personal lives and new responsibilities. Applejack, however, has slipped into isolation after her family has moved on from Sweet Apple Acres, struggling to keep the farm afloat and too stubborn to reach out for help. Fortunately, an equally lonely dragon happens to stop by, one who's been looking to get away from his surprisingly lonely job as ambassador for the Princess of Friendship. Little do the two realize how fast things can move when you're with someone you've known so long and trust.

Applespike is the main pairing, Fluttercord as a background pairing. Anatomy is not completely accurate and ponies age like humans. Applejack is in her early thirties, Spike in his early twenties. Explicitly sexual, escalates quickly.
