The punishment for misbeehiving
Chrysalis, former queen of the glorious changeling hive and once powerful enough to defeat a goddess, was... scrubbing a toilet. The brush, held between her teeth by its long handle, scraped away at built-up filth until the porcelain pony throne was as shiny as a waxed carapace.
She was presently in the form of a pony, wearing a very cliché black and white maid outfit. Still, she was not happy to be reduced to it yet again after earning something better, only to have it all stripped away from her by a traitor and his pony friends. In fact, the reason she was scrubbing a toilet in the first place was precisely to get back what she had lost: Her throne. And no, the irony there was not lost on her.
The present plan was to infiltrate Canterlot Castle to steal a powerful relic hidden in the Princess' private library. She didn't know what exactly it was or how it worked, only that her expertise in gathering information had paid off when she heard rumors about it. In her experience, rumors tended to have much more truth to them than skeptical ponies gave them credit for. After hearing that this mysterious relic was powerful and about its general location, she was convinced that at least that much was true.
Chrysalis spit the brush into the soapy bucket and scrunched her muzzle as droplets splashed against the bottom of it. Ew. Toilet water. But that was fine, and she would persist, as revenge was within her reach. She could be patient. She picked up the bucket by its handle and carried it out of the restroom to her maid cart, setting it down. She bolted straight for it, toward freedom and open sky, where she could fly away to safety.
"She's gonna see the rope. Look at it. It's enormous," Celestia said.
"I think you underestimate how blind one can be when afraid," Luna replied.
"I hope you're right."
The door to their private reading room opened and the two sisters' ears perked up. They were sitting in comfortable patio chairs, Celestia in the sun and Luna in the shade, out of sight of the small private library.
"That has to be her," Luna whispered with a giggle. Celestia shushed her, but giggled herself.
Sure enough, it wasn't long before they heard the familiar voice of Chrysalis shouting in pain.
The two giggling princesses watched the conspicuous rope, laid out in a circle and running up to a pulley attached to an overhang. Celestia still did not expect it to work.

Chrysalis was not pleased, and prepared a lethal spell to fire at them, only to realize her magic was not working. And no matter how hard she struggled, the rope was holding her too securely to let her go.
Amidst the chaos, she had temporarily forgotten about the bees, the constant buzzing having faded away to mere background noise.
