Silver awakened refreshed the best he has even been in his life. Silver thought on what the plan for today was going to be and then suddenly it hit him he finally figured out the missing piece to his nerve gear. Silver pulled out some paper and a pen then wrote down the equation and code for the microwave element before getting dressed. Silver went downstairs and greeted his parents.

“ Someone is in a good mood this morning,” Ruby said knowing why.

“ Had the best sleep I had in years,” Silver said.

“ So what’s the plan for today going to hang with your fellow girls today,” Bullet asked.

“ Actually Dad I finally got the final component for my Nerve Gear down and I figured after installing it I would test it but I will invite Lemon and Twilight over to see it in action,” Silver replied.

“ Are you sure aren't you worried about your clothes or hair?” Bullet asked.

“ Dad I may choose to be a girl now but everything I retained before that is still in there just needed to finally be able to relax to access it,” Silver replied.

Silver told the butler to bring his breakfast to his room since he wanted to get started right away. Ruby was a bit worried since this may be dangerous. Bullet told her not to worry and that this was the first time in a while he saw a trace of his son.

Before Silver began working he called Lemon. The phone rang for a bit before Lemon answered.

“ Hello Silver,” Lemon said.

“ Hi Lemon I’m about to add the finishing touches to my nerve gear and then test it, wanna come to see it in action?” Silver asked.

“ I am so there,” Lemon replied.

“ Awesome bring Twilight along too I know she will definitely want to see this,” Silver said before hanging up.

Silver began working on the microwave part that has eluded him for so long.

Ten minutes later Lemon and Sci-Twi arrived at Silver’s place and rang the doorbell. Bullet answered the door.

“ Lemon good to see you again and you must be Twilight come Silver is about to finish his invention,” Bullet said as he showed the girls to Silver’s Room.

Silver added the finishing touches and then plugged it into his computer and then brought up the virtual world he created on his monitor. As Silver finished setting everything up Lemon and Sci-Twi arrived. Sci-Twi was impressed with Silver’s set up.

“ Glad you two could arrive and you're just in time to witness science fiction become science fact,” Silver said.

“ How exactly will we know if it works?” Lemon asked.

“ See that monitor with the visual of an open field well if the Nerve Gear works successfully than my consciousness should manifest into avatar form and appear there,” Silver explained.

Silver placed the Nerve Gear on his head and the collaboration process started. Silver touched himself in the spots the Nerve Gear specified and generated a virtual blueprint of Silver’s body. Due to Silver’s breast forms and hair extensions and everything else Silver had on the Nerve Gear registered him as female which he did not mind but will work on in the future. Silver than laid on his bed to begin the real test.

“ LINK START,” Silver shouted before a visual of many colors appeared before him. A system check began and everything read all green and then Silver was falling from the sky. As the ground came closer Silver accessed a controller and generated wings just in time to land safely.

“ Looks like I need to adjust the positioning but at least the controls work,” Silver said.

Silver swiped his finger and a small display appeared. He looked through the menu and opened his inventory and caused a full-length mirror to appear in front of him. Reflected in that mirror was a girl with long light green hair wearing a simple white dress.

“ Not too bad for a default,” Silver said while opening the voice chat option.

“ Lemon can you hear me,” Silver said through the mic on his desk.

Lemon grabbed the headset and put it on before responding.

“ We hear you, Silver,” Lemon replied.

“ I have some improvements to make but I can say that full dive test number one was a success,” Silver said.

Silver scrolled to the log out button and then disappeared after hitting it. Silver regained consciousness and took the Nerve Gear off.

“ How did it feel in there Silver,” Sci-Twi asked.

“ It felt like I was the same but somehow different,” Silver tried to explain.

“ Basically like your soul was in a different body,” Lemon asked.

“ More or less,” Silver replied.

“ So is it ready yet,” Lemon asked.

“ Not yet I still need to install the safeguards so the Microwaves don't damage the brain,” Silver said.

“ Wait you were using microwaves isn't that dangerous?” Sci-Twi asked.

“ Normally yes but when kept at a safe level they can be good to work with,” Silver explained.

Silver explained that the parts for the safeguards would take a while to get here so, for now, he is finished with the prototype. Silver put his prototype in his safe for now.

“ So what do you girls want to do now?” Silver asked.

“ I suppose we could just hang here everyone else is busy today,” Lemon suggested.

“ My friends are busy too,” Sci-Twi said.

“ Then I guess it's just the three of us so what do you want to do?” Silver asked.

Silver noticed his phone going off and saw he received a text message from Ace. Silver read the message.

“ Turquoise I need you to meet me at the House of Enchanted Comics there is someone who wants to meet you,” The message said.

Silver told Lemon and Sci-Twi about the message and that decided their plans.

“ Looks like we are heading for the House of Enchanted Comics,” Silver said in his girl's voice before changing into his persona. Turquoise told her parents she and her friends were off and they told them to stay safe. Turquoise decided to drive her car so they don,t draw too much attention to themselves. Turquoise showed Lemon and Sci-Twi her blue honda civic which she never thought of driving until now.

“ You had your own car all this time?” Lemon asked.

“ I do but since my parents were concerned about my safety they insisted I was driven from place to place by someone,” Turquoise pointed out.

“ Does it still work?” Sci-Twi asked.

“ Of course it does,” turquoise said while taking the driver seat.

Lemon took the passenger's seat while Sci-Twi got in the back. Turquoise started her up and they were on their way to their destination.

Forty-five minutes later Turquoise and the others arrived at the House of Enchanted Comics and met Ace by the entrance.

“ Turquoise glad you and Lemon could make it allow me to introduce you to Zacharias Inkwell the greatest manga artist in the state,” Ace said referring to a tan man with light red hair.

Ace explained that last weekend during one of his card tournaments he was lucky to meet Zach and show him his work. After meeting Turquoise he found the heroine he needed. Zach looked at Turquoise and was impressed with what he saw.

“ So you're the girl who Ula is based on I must say you pull the maiden look off quite nicely,” Zach said to Turquoise.

“ Thanks,” Turquoise said while blushing.

“ Now for the reason, I summoned you here Zach has given me a few tips on how we can improve the story so first, he said since its a Xenoblade story Ula should have a driver are you familiar with what that is?” Ace asked Turquoise.

“ It's the partner that the blade transfers its power into while fighting,” Turquoise replied.

“ Correct and here is what I need to ask of you first let me show you a few character designs I come up with and tell me which one you think works best,” Ace said as he pulled out his sketchbook.

Ace showed them his designs all of which looked better suited to other roles until he reached the last one which was Ace wearing a long blue coat over a black t-shirt with two red roman numeral Xs overlapping each other slightly in the center along with blue jeans, black boots, and a long white scarf with light blue wave patterns on it. The scarf had light blue tassels on the ends of it. Turquoise loved it and so did the others.

“ Great now that we have that decided Turquoise do you think your mom can help with the outfit,” Ace asked.

“ I can do it, It does not look that complicated,” Turquoise replied.

“ Sounds good,” Ace said giving Turquoise his drawing for reference.

Ace decided to join Turquoise and her friends on the ride back to Turquoise’s place. Ace got in next to Sci-Twi before Turquoise took off. Turquoise parked in her garage and showed everyone to his mom’s sewing room. Turquoise asked Lemon to bring her some white fabric while she grabbed the light blue thread. Lemon brought Turquoise the fabric she asked for and Turquoise started printing out the wave pattern. Turquoise laid out the fabric and measured out nine feet then marked the line. She then measured two feet for with and marked the line. The wave pattern finished printing and Turquoise cut it out then began stitching the pattern on one side on both ends. Ruby came in and noticed Turquoise working on something.

“ Whatcha making there Turquoise?” Ruby asked.

Ace explained that Turquoise was working on the cosplay for the main protagonist's partner in their club’s manga series. Ruby asked if Ace had the outfit for said protagonist on him and he did since Zach Inkwell wanted to see the heroine in person. Turquoise folded the fabric and cut it into two even pieces then sewed them together to hide the back of the front. Turquoise then proceeded to add the tassels on the ends. After minutes of sewing, the scarf was complete. Ruby took a look at it and was impressed.

“ Pretty good for a first attempt now let me handle the rest Turquoise I want to see you in your cosplay,” Ruby said.

Ace handed Turquoise her outfit and she went back to her room to change. As soon as Turquoise finished changing Bullet passed by and was at a loss for words.

“ Turquoise what are you wearing?” Bullet asked.

“ My Ula cosplay mom wanted to see me in it,” Turquoise replied.

“ Well at least it's not revealing carry on,” Bullet said before walking away.

Turquoise walked in and Ruby was amazed by the outfit.

“ Love it you look like a very regal warrior,” Turquoise said.

“ Thanks, Ace came up with the character,” Turquoise said.

“ It's not quite finished I still need to find a way to include a core crystal,” Ace Said.

“ I might have an idea for that,” Turquoise said.

Turquoise and Ace went back to Turquoise’s room and she looked through her inventory of LEDs. Turquoise began creating a blueprint for her 3D printer and created the casing for the core crystal.

“ Say Turquoise have you ever considered being the prop and costume expert of our group?” Ace asked.

“ Sounds good to me,” Turquoise replied as she pulled out her soldering iron.

The casing was finished and Turquoise laid out all the pieces. Turquoise began assembling the inside and then placed a layer of translucent plastic on top. Once everything was set she flipped the switch and the crystal glowed blue.

“ That's perfect but how are you going to attach it to your dress?” Ace asked.

Turquoise added a small pin on the back making it into a brooch. Turquoise pinned it on above her breasts and now Ula was now officially recognized as a blade. Ace and Turquoise returned just in time to see Ace’s Cosplay finished.

“ Ace I finished it and I must say you have a good eye,” Ruby said showing Ace his cosplay.

Ace followed Turquoise to her room and gave him privacy to change. Ace came back out dressed like his character Jet. Ruby wanted to get a picture of Turquoise and Ace in their cosplays. Turquoise raised the sword above her and Ace grabbed it recreating the final attack move Rex and Pyra did in the video game.

“ Perfect now hold still you two,” Ruby said as she took the picture.

Ace told Turquoise she could keep the outfit but to bring it when needed. Everyone went home for the day and Turquoise got ready for bed.

The next day Turquoise woke up and decided to see what everyone else was up to. Everyone seems to be busy except for Rarity so Turquoise decided to see her today. Turquoise looked through her closet and pulled out her favorite strapless knee-length dress along with the black Bolero jacket with her crest on it. Turquoise also pulled out some three-inch heels and some crescent moon shaped earrings. After getting dressed Turquoise decided to go with some twin drills today. After Turquoise finished getting ready she decided to take her car to see Rarity.

At the Canterlot Mall Turquoise decided to head to Rarity’s boutique to show her how she improved. Turquoise found Rarity’s Boutique and Rarity was excited to see her.

“ Turquoise darling so good to see you and I love the new hairstyle,” Rarity said.

“ Thanks, Rarity the twin drills were my boyfriend's idea,” Turquoise said.

Turquoise and rarity kept talking about fashion and stuff until Jetset and Fleur came in.

“ Silver is that you?” Suri asked.

“ Jetset, Fleur? What are you two doing here?” Turquoise asked.

“ Our parents just ungrounded us yesterday so we are good,” Fleur replied.

“ and Suri?” Turquoise asked.

“ She is still grounded her parents decided to go for the whole two weeks and said nothing she did would change that,” Jetset replied.

“ In any case, it's good to see you again,” Turquoise said.

“ You too Silver,” Fleur said.

“ When I am in girl mode I go by Turquoise,” Turquoise said.

“ Great name anyway how have things been at Crystal Prep been,” Fleur asked.

“ Pretty great I found a boyfriend and joined an amazing club,” Turquoise replied.

“ that's great,” Jetset said.

“ By the way, we been meaning to ask what made you want to be a girl?” Fleur asked.

“ All my life I been trying to live up to the things my dad said a man should be but no matter how hard I tried to I could not do it thus making me an ideal target for bullying so after an incident at Cloudsdale High occurred that really hurt me my parent decided to transfer me somewhere safer. On my first day at Crystal Prep I was nervous but after meeting Lemon Zest and telling her about the dream I had before that first day she knew what to do and thus Turquoise Dusk was born,” Turquoise said.

“ Wow we never knew that it must have been rough,” Jetset said.

“ It was but now things are way better now I have a school full of students that like and are kind to me, A very sweet boyfriend, and some good friends who welcomed me into their feminine world with open arms,” Turquoise said causing rarity to smile at the compliment.

Jetset and Fleur looked at the time and noticed they were running late and told Turquoise they would see her at school next week. Turquoise remembered she needed to pick up some stuff and bid Rarity farewell before heading out.
