Meeting Up With Her Friend And Going Somewhere Important

Twilight was in Ponyville leaving her dance class for the day as it had run a bit late. She had to get changed in order to go to a diplomatic meeting in Yakyakistan.

Twilight wiped her face off with a towel as she got outside when she did she saw Pinkie Pie approach her with an envelope.

"Pinkie Pie what are you doing here? Your class isnt until a few days from now." Twilight asked.

"I have to pay the monthly fee for my class. Where are you going at this time of day!? Your class seemed to have run late! Are you sure your okay!? Maybe we should both talk about it!" Pinkie Pie rambled.

"Pinkie!" Twilight exclaimed. Pinkie Pie stopped and gave Twilight a chance to speak.

"I just got out of class since it ended so I can go to this meeting I need to get to. Diplomacy and all that surely you understand." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie nodded and walked into the school.

"Okay! See you Twilight! She said.

Twilight sighed and continued walking. Once Pinkie Pie was done she left the building and spotted Twilight and ran up to Twilighg which almost startled Twilight.

"You mean you have to go right now?" Why cant you go later? Is Celestia forcing you! Your not lying are you!?" Pinkie Pie asked. Twilight stopped and turned around.

"Pinkie stop! Celestia is not forcing me but I do have to go to the meeting since it's important. The meeting was made for today so I cant skip it and I cant delay it either." Twilight explained as she hoped that Pinkie Pie would calm down.

"Can I at least treat you to a milk shake?" Pinkie Pie offered cheerfully. Twilight really wished she could go to get a milkshake but she had business to do and couldn't waste time." Twilight sighed.

"No Pinkie I have to go now. I cant hold it off. If I do Celestia will hear about it and will will be mad about it." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie frowned.

"Please! I just met up with you! You can have a little one and I'd you dont want one can you come anyway!" Pinkie Pie begged. Twilight sighed as she was finding the offer tempting. She finally gave in.

"Okay!" Twilight said giving up.

"Yay!" Pinkie cheered. She grabbed Twilight by the hand and rushed her to Sugarcube Corner. They got in their and Pinkie Pie ordered Twilight's milkshake first and hers after and then winked at Twilight.

"Dont you feel so special I ordered for you first?" Pinkie teased. Twilight rolled her eyes.

"Oh haha!" Twilight said playfully. They both waited for their drinks to get to them. Soon the Cake's surved them their drinks.

Pinkie Pie loudly slurped her drink down while Twilight just sipped hers while she also stopped and stared at Pinkie with a look of bewilderment on her face.

"You'll give yourself a brain freeze if you drink it that way." Twilight warned. Pinkie stopped for a second and cheered.

"Yay! Milkshake!" Pinkie cheered. Twilight rolled her eyes but smiler and took another sip and then watched Pinkie devour hers and then took a break.

"How are you doing in class? Is everybody treating you okay?" Twilight asked. Pinkie smiled.

"I'm doing pretty good...I'm not nervous anymore and I'm not hesitant anymore either. Everybody is nice to me as well. And you?" Pinkie Pie asked

"I'm doing good to...Pinkie you have some milk shake above your upper lip." Twilight pointed out. Pinkie giggled and slurped it with her tongue.

"Its a milkshake mustache! Dont you like those!?" Pinkie asked. Twilight smiled.

"Their fine but I've never seen the comedy in them as it comes from the milkshake." Twilight pointed out.

"I think their fun." Pinkie Pie said. Twilight nodded. Pinkie Pie wiped her mouth off.

"Thanks for letting me take you. Sorry for derailing your plans temporarily. I just wantedtsome time with you." Pinkie said. Twilight shook her head.

"Eh it's alright. Maybe we can get together for another sleepover." Twilight said. Pinkie nodded.

"Yeah those sleepovers sure do make you pirouette with excitement!" Pinkie joked making Twilight grown.

"Pinkie..." Twilight groaned, Pinkie bit her lip as she held back her laughter as she thought her joke was dumb but amazing at the same time.

"What?" Pinkie asked with amusement as she pretended that she didnt say anything. Twilight narrowed her eyes at Twilight.

"Dont make ballet jokes." Twilight said. Pinkie giggled.

"I was just trying to make you laugh." Pinkie shrugged. Twilight smirked as she did think the joke was unique.

"Okay perhaps it was pretty funny. Your jokes do make us all laugh but sometimes their are groan inducing ones." Twilight said.

"Told you! Plus groan inducing ones are supposed to be grown inducing. It's like they have their own genre." Pinkie Pie cheered.

"I guess you could say that. Their are some ones like those that are good. I like comedic jokes that are very well done though." Twilight said with a shrug of her shoulders.

They soon finished their drinks and Twilight left Sugarcube Corner with Pinkie Pie following behind her. Twilight stopped and turned around.

"I have to go to the meeting now. I had a good time no matter how sudden the offer for the milkshake had been. I'll see you later Pinkie Pie." Twilight said.

"Bye!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Twilight walked to an area where she could get dressed in her royal regalia. Once she did that she washed her dance outfit somewhere

Twilight got dressed and made her way to the meeting as she was glad that she had been able to see her friend no matter how unexpected it had been.

As Twilight walked to the meeting her mind was distracted by how great seeing Pinkie Pie had been.

Twilight knew that she needed to focus on the meeting so she pushed the pleasant thought to the back of her mind for later and prepared herself for the meeting as she walked to it. She was so glad that she had seen her friend.
