A few thousands years into the future (present day)

A young alicorn princess was humming to herself. After all that happened it was time to relax. Yet another battle occurred, and yet again they have prevailed. She and her friends had been able to win again and again. The purple alicorn sighed. With all the villains now defeated and either banished forever or redeemed, now what?

"Spike!" The Princess of Friendship called out.

A sound of tumbling and crashing down the stairs was heard. A purple dragon came down tumbling down the stairs, before finally stopping himself in front of Twilight.

"Yes Twilight?" Spike said, still dizzy from the fall. Twilight placed him back on the ground and Spike recovered shortly.

"Can you find me a list of all the things that happened from the moment Nightmare Moon came to now?" Twilight asked. Spike nodded.

"You got it!" Spike said, leaving the room. More sounds of crashing and 'oof!'s were heard as the poor dragon kept hurting himself. A few more stressful moments later, the small dragon came with a small scroll. He opened it and suddenly it became a large piece of paper, containing all the events that Twilight and her friends had.

"Here it is!" Spike said, resting a bit on a couch. "Why do you need it anyways?" Spike asked as Twilight started to search through the list. Twilight smiled.

"Oh I wanted to revive some moments that we had." Twilight said. "Remember that time when everypony was asking me for that extra ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala?" Twilight asked. Spike laughed, remembering how desperate the then unicorn Twilight was when everypony was doing something for Twilight to win the ticket.

"Yep! I remember! I think I also said something about me being right!" Spike said. Twilight frowned a bit but then laughed.

"How about when we were doing Winter Wrap up?" Twilight asked. Spike laughed even more.

"You got sprayed by the skunks!" Spike laughed. Twilight giggled. Now thinking about it, that event was so funny it could've won them something in the Equestria's Funniest Moments Show.

"How about the Poison Joke?" Twilight said, only to be answered by more laughing on behalf of Spike.

"Twilight you're going to kill me with all of these things!" Spike said laughing out his heart. "I still remember how your horn was like!" Spike laughed. Twilight shook her head with a smile.

"How about when I became a alicorn?" Twilight said. Spike smiled.

"You were like 'Wait what? I'M AN ALICORN!?" Spike said, before laughing again. "But still that was probably one of you best moments Twilight! You're a Princess!" Spike said.

"You obviously remember when you saved the Crystal Empire twice, right?" Twilight asked. Spike nodded.

"Yep! They called me Spike! The Savior of the Crystal Empire! Or something like that. They have so many names for me now its hard to count!" Spike said. Twilight looked further down the scroll, before stopping.

"Hey Spike." Twilight asked.

"Yes?"

"Remember that spell that Starswirl the Bearded made?" Twilight ask, jotting something down.

"The one you complete before you became an alicorn?" Spike guessed. Twilight shook her head.

"Nope. I'm taking about the Time Travel spell. The one that my student Starlight used." Twilight said. Spike stopped what he was doing, which was cleaning up the mess he made, to think.

"Now thinking about it, when we came back, I remember the scroll containing the spell being sucked into that portal we came from. Where could've it gone to?" Spike asked. Twilight starts to write a letter to the Princess.

"I don't know. But I'm going to write a letter telling about this lost scroll. If it falls on the wrong hooves, it could create a destruction of the space time continuum!" Twilight yells as she writes her letter,

"Dear Princess Celestia,
I am writing you this urgent matter that cannot be postponed any longer. Remember when my student Starlight was still evil, and how she used one of Star Swirl's spells to time travel to try to destroy the chance of me and my friends ever becoming friends?After looking through the adventures of me and my friends, I realized that the scroll that contained the time travel spell had been lost in the last portal which brought us here. This means that at any given moment the scroll could appear in any place or time, and if it were to fall in the wrong hooves, then not only Equestria but the timeline itself would be in great danger! What should I do now?
Sincerely, your favorite student and now princess, Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight then gave the letter to Spike, who breath in and released a green flame, transporting the scroll to Celestia.

"Why do tense? It's probably going to float in the space-time continuum forever unless somepony else manages to use the time travel spell again in a different time." Spike said. Twilight sighed.

"I may not be an expert, but say if time runs like a clock that goes around itself. Say that we lived through the Summer Celebration and after a given time, time goes through that same event. If this were to be true then when Starlight used that spell in our time era, after going around the clock, time reaches that point again which means that the scroll would be released in whatever time period it ended! We can't risk that!" Twilight yelled. Suddenly Spike burped out a letter with the Royal Seal. He opened it and frowned.

"Well this ain't good." Spike said as he handed the scroll to Twilight.

"Please meet me in the Two Royal Sisters Castle immediately."

A few moments later.....

Twilight and her friends rushed through the dense Everfree forest, with the other five looking at each other. Starlight Glimmer was also there running with them.

"So Twilight....can you mind explaining us why we're running to the Everfree forest to the Two Royal Sisters Castle again?" Applejack asked. Twilight gasped for air while running.

"I'm not actually sure about that one, but basically when Starlight Glimmer here used that time travel spell, when we all returned that scroll got lost in time. When me and Spike were recalling all the events we went through we suddenly remember the scroll's disappearance so now we're going to figure out what's happening." Twilight said

"Wait. So let me get this straight. Time Travel. Usually bad. A Time Travelling Scroll got lost. Definitely bad." Rainbow Dash said. Starlight who quickly cached up to what her alicorn friend said nodded.

"Yes it is Rainbow. If that scroll landed in possession of a villain, then that villain could use that scroll to his advantage. He could use it to go back in time and prevent his defeat. And if he hadn't been been defeated yet, he or she would go into the future to see how he was originally defeated and use that knowledge to his advantage." Starlight answered.

"And even if it weren't a villain, the presence alone of that scroll means that time has now been changed, meaning that it would release a domino affect. When I went into the Chrysalis Timeline, Zecora explained to me that when I realized the different variations that were being produced from the event of stopping Rainbow Dash. Apparently even if each way got the same solution, Rainbow Dash not doing the Rainboom, the way each is done causes different things to change and as these changes are added it causes a huge domino affect to cause each one to look so different to each other. A simple pebble could be a case. Say the hero of Equestria were to somehow trip on that pebble. They'd be late for something. Here's some possible outcomes of that." Twilight said.

"Because of that second delay, the battle would start a second latter, which means that whatever helped the hero win in the original timeline is now one second earlier so if the hero were in a matter of life or death, that one thing would fail to be there and thus he would succumb to his opponent as he now has no way to save himself."

"What if that he still won? Still that one second would cause things to change. He finish the battle, but because of that second, he would've finished more later, or sometimes even more earlier, meaning that when the news comes, that would change a lot. Over time, that one second would become ten seconds to one minute, till the change is so grave that one thousand years later, another villain would've won because of that second because the environment is so different. Some might be thrown out of the timeline, and new ones would replace them, leaving to so many paradoxes that would throw the timeline off course and doom everypony!" Twilight exclaimed, right when they got inside the Two Royal Sisters Castle where they met Celestia and Luna.

"You found it?" Twilight asked Celestia the moment they barged through the door. Celestia had a sad smile, which meant usually that something was wrong.

"Well we did, and we did not." Celestia said. Celestia handed Twilight two books. "You remember these books, right? They contain the history of Equestria and not only Equestria, but the entire world before that." Celestia said. "Compare these two books and see for yourself" Celestia said. Twilight started to compare each book with the other, and suddenly her eyes widened. Twilight looked bewildered at Celestia. Celestia sighed

"Y-y-you're.....d-d...." Twilight stammered, not able to speak out loud. Celestia sighed.

"Yes Twilight. We're starting to disappear from existence." Celestia said, shocking the rest.

"B-but how?! You're Princess Celestia! An alicorn! Alicorns can't die!" Rainbow cried out.

"But unicorns and pegasi can." Celestia responded. At that moment it hit everypony.

"So they killed you in the past?" Rarity exclaimed. Celestia did a solemn nod.

"Before we were able to become alicorns, me and my sister were just ordinary unicorns and pegasus respectively speaking. We lived during the time when the three tribes still hated each other. Ever since we became alicorns, some of them hated us and attempted to kill us, only to realize that we're immortal. So I believe that one of them got this spell and thus eliminated me in my most weakest form." Celestia said. Twilight could see the pain Celestia was hiding and tears drifted from her own eyes.

"Don't worry Celestia. We'll find this threat and save you!" Twilight cried out. Celestia smiled.

"That's very generous of you Twilight so you'll be the one going." Celestia said. Rainbow piped in.

"Wait how will she be able to go without the spell and could we go along? We friends stick together!" Rainbow said and the group did a tight hug. Celestia sighed.

"Unfortunately we don't know when or where this threat exists, and while I've made a copy of the spell just in case this happened, you can't go as the more ponies that go through time, the more unstable it becomes, and plus we don't know how long this might take. Twilight on the other hoof is immortal and thus she could go and come back and she would barely age compared to you six." Celestia said, and the group sighed. Celestia smiled still. "Don't worry. Due to this...anomaly time would barely pass for you so the not even a few moments and Twilight would be back, though a bit more older I could say." Celestia said. Twilight sighed but still smiled.

"Don't worry Princess I won't fail you." Twilight said. Celestia smiled.

"You've never failed us. Now its time for you to save Equestria again. We'll be counting on you." Celestia said.

"Could I come? I'm a dragon and dragons age slowly." Spike said. Celestia thought for a moment.

"Well I guess it wouldn't hurt having a flamethrower as a back up." Celestia said. A soft laughter broke out between the friends. Spike frowned but then smiled.

"Well I guess that's a yes. Come on Twilight! We've got a timeline to save!" Spike said as he walked towards Twilight who held the modified scroll.

"This reminds me a lot of that time adventure we have." Twilight said, smiling.

"Yeah! But this timewe'll be going backwards! See ya soon guys!" Spike said as he waved at everyone. Twilight waved at them before the time rift appeared and took them through time.
