Prologue: A Strange Crystal
11/13/17
It was a cool autumn evening in Canterlot Mississippi the wind was cool and blew lightly through the forest rustling the leaves that had not yet fallen some being blown down by the wind. Through this forest cut a long path that leads into a pasture while the trail had been listed as public property the pasture was private property separated by a barbwire fence across the pasture was another fence, behind the fence was a small lake behind a medium sized blue two-story ranch house. On this trail in the dark covered with leaves and sticks, a young woman walked this woman was fairly short at 5ft 4in tall and fairly thin with long flowing pink hair and yellow skin, a light blue skirt, a yellow sweater, pink socks that went nearly to her knees, and black and white converses. In her hand was a small black flashlight shining it’s bright LED light in front of her shining down the trail. She hummed lightly as she continued the leaves crunching lightly beneath her feet the sound of crickets and frogs echoing throughout. As she walked she looked up and noticed that the moon was full so she clicked off the light and put it in her pocket letting the moon guide her way. She smiled as the environment relaxed her it had been a stressful day, her boss was angry at her since she hadn’t filed the reports she was supposed to on time, she also had a major exam in the online Veterinary courses she was taking, and her car broke down so she now needed to borrow her girlfriend’s car to get places so this was very refreshing to her. the trail was three miles long and she was now one and a half miles down the trail when all of a sudden the crickets and frogs went silent and all that she could hear was her footsteps and the sound of a distant freight train its horn the loudest while the rumble was low and hard to hear. As Fluttershy walked down the trail she began to feel uneasy as if she were being watched, not just behind her but all around as if thousands of hungry eyes were watching her every move, her every step, her every breath. She then noticed a small glow beneath the leaves about twenty feet away from her for some reason it called to her as if it were whispering in her ear on the wind.
She walked over to the glow and got on her knees brushing the leaves off curiosity overtaking her instincts usually she wouldn’t do things like this but it gave off a warm glow and a comforting feel. She picked it up and held it in her hand it was a long hexagonal crystal with points on both ends. It was very warm and was getting hotter but she didn’t wanna drop it, it was mesmerizing she felt its sting in the palm of her hand but she stayed entranced upon it. Then it shot into her chest puncturing it and going into her heart sending pain shooting throughout her breast as she gripped it in agony, she took deep breaths as the pain began to die down. Once the pain left her chest she got off of her knees and ran for her life back down the trail towards where her car was parked just outside the trail in an empty gravel lot, she climbed in her car and slammed the door panting hard she lifted her sweater and looked at her breast there were no markings, no cuts, no scars, and no bruises not even slight discoloration.
After catching her breath she reached into her purse in the passenger seat and pulled out the keys to her girlfriend’s blue 2010 Camaro, she inserted the keys into the ignition and started it driving out of the lot and back towards Canterlot. As she drove she felt nauseated and had an almost migraine headache, she had to stop a mile from her house and lean out of the door to throw up one thing she noticed about her vomit was it was filled with black bile. After this, she drove back home and parked the car her head still pounding but having died down to that of a normal headache, she got out of the car her face pail, and her cheeks flush she took a deep breath and opened the door it was late and her girlfriend Rainbow Dash was asleep on the couch. She untied her shoes and left them by the door before locking it and tiptoeing past Rainbow Dash to her bedroom, she bent over the toilet and vomited up more bile. After this, she took a stomach pill and pulled off her sweater, skirt, and socks throwing them all in the hamper before getting in bed and falling asleep.
As she attempted to sleep she felt a strange feeling as if she were being watched by an intimidating presence. She also felt a sharp pain in her stomach while she was no longer nauseous a pain still lingered deep within her abdomen where she couldn’t tell it was just there. She felt the strange presence drift towards her she heard footsteps and she sat up not finding her room but a black void, bed was a pile of worms she got up and stood floating in the infinite blackness still in her underwear. She watched as the bed melted before her eyes, she then heard music begin playing behind her it was a bass riff with the same drum being hit repeatedly, slowly, then electric guitar joined in and then the words
“Pride you took, pride you feel,”
she turned around and (get ready for this) she saw Metallica standing behind her performing the song The God That Failed. Shocked by this she stepped back and fell down a hole and landing on the ground in a dark stone tunnel, she props herself up and looks at the ground she found wooden planks with rocks between them and spikes driven into them to hold steel rails down, she was in the middle of a train tunnel. She felt the ground rumble and saw a bright light appear around a curve behind her, she felt the rumble of a diesel engine and then heard a loud horn as the train plowed into her. SHe awoke screaming at the top of her lungs Rainbow Dash ran in to see Fluttershy sweating profusely her eyes wide in terror.

So I cut it off here because I wanted it to be somewhat suspenseful as if it cut to a commercial

The First Day
11/14/17
Fluttershy got out of bed after waking up screaming she found it was already morning the sun had risen and shown through the window of their bedroom hitting the covers just below her waist.
“WHAT’S WRONG!” Yelled Rainbow Dash a look of concern plastered across the rainbow-haired girl.
“Uh,” she couldn’t remember anything from the previous night her mind was blank “just a nightmare...I guess,” said Fluttershy unsure.
She got out of bed and walked into the living room past Rainbow Dash going to the laundry room to get some clothes out of the dryer when she was stopped by Rainbow
“Where’d you get that tattoo?” Asked Rainbow Dash her eyebrow raised.
“What?” Asked Fluttershy turning around to face Rainbow dash who was wearing a white tank top and black shorts
“That tattoo on your back, where’d you get it?” asked Rainbow pointing to her right shoulder.
Fluttershy turned her head in an attempt to look at the tattoo Rainbow was referring to. She looked and could barely make out a dark tattoo like marking of the silhouette of a wolf howling at a full moon the eyes and moon not colored in, the moon was sitting on the ground which was a colored in space.
Fluttershy looked at Rainbow and said “I-I don’t know” sounding almost frightened before saying “I must’ve gotten it last night.”
“Yeah whatever you say,” said Rainbow Dash smirking before walking into their room.
Fluttershy grabbed a pink t-shirt that was a size too big for her and slipped it on covering her tattoo and sat down on the couch turning on the TV. several miles away a man drove down a long beaten and busted blacktop road, this man had a black Mutton Chops style of beard with graying hairs, was bald and very fit with tattoos marking up his right arm all the way down to his hand. He wore aviator sunglasses, a dark blue T-shirt with “We’ll put a boot up your ass it’s the American way,” written on it, blue jeans, brown work boots and a Colt Cowboy revolver in a shoulder holster. His truck was a red 1989 Ford F250, it had a Trump 2016 sticker just behind the driver's seat, a rebel flag sticker on the top center of the back window and a Pro NRA sticker on the back bumper. The truck had a bench seat and manual five-speed transmission, a single cab and a large crack in the windshield with Whistlin’ Dixie by Randy Houser playing as he drove down the road. Arron pulled out a camouflage flip lighter and a Marlboro cigarette, he placed his arms on the wheel and leaned in close to light it puffing out some smoke as he did he then rolled down the window with the hand crank and blowing a puff of smoke out. He pulled in front of a small building similar to a construction site office with a window unit on the right of the door and another window on the left and wooden steps leading to the door, there were five vehicles out front, a Black 2005 Dodge 3500, a blue 2005 Chevrolet 1500, a black 1970 Camaro, a black 1950 Mercury, and a gray 1999 Ford F150 all parked in an empty grass lot in front of the building. Arron parked his truck next to the Mercury and grabbed the AR15 with a leather strap that was sitting in his floorboard and threw it over his shoulder before walking into the building. He opened the door and four other men were in there, there was Leroy a heavyset man who was bald with a red beard and cheap plastic sunglasses on top of his head, he wore a black sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and brown boots. Then there was Blake, a thin man with a long black beard, he wore a red Bass Pro Shop t-shirt, blue jeans, and black boots, he was sitting in a chair with a Remington 12 gauge shotgun sitting next to him. There was Ricky he was fairly fit and had short blonde hair with no beard, he wore a black shirt with Metallica written on it in white, khaki’s, and brown boots with a Ruger M9 in a holster at his side. Then there was Thomas an older, thin man with short white hair, and a short white goatee, he wore a red t-shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans, and brown work boots and had an AR15 without a strap.
“Where the hell is Johnny?” Asked Arron in his deep southern voice sitting hs AR next to an old recliner before sitting down in it.
“He’s outside taking a piss cause the bathroom is too civilized for him,” said Thomas who was sitting on the black leather couch next to Leroy.
“Everything's too civilized for him hell I'm surprised he ain’t got rid of his guns and started hunting with flint head spears,” said Arron pulling out a can of Skoal.
“Anyways what the hell am I here for,” said Leroy in his higher sounding southern accent
“Ask Blake I ain’t the one that called Y'all here,” said Arron pointing to his brother who was also sitting in a recliner
“We may have a werewolf on our hands,” said Blake sounding far younger than he really was.
“You’ve gotta be a mad man to believe that bullshit,” said Johnny in a southern accent as he walked in with a lit cigarette in his mouth he had long black hair and an 80’s style mustache, he wore a red button-up shirt, blue jeans, and brown work boots with a 38 caliber snubnosed revolver in a shoulder holster.
“Yes it is crazy but We got reports of loud howling and what is believed to be a humanoid wolf-like creature that was spotted last night near the Canton Trail,” said Blake looking at some papers that were sitting next to him.
“Canton, shit that’s right behind my house,” said Arron concerned.
“That’s why we need to be on high alert because a wolf crystal Leroy claims to have found is missing from where he spotted it,” responded Blake
“Are you sure he didn’t lose it like he usually does?” Questioned Ricky in his rough voice from years of smoking
“It was right next to the sign that read MM 1.5 and when we went there this morning it was gone,” said Leroy.
“You have a point, Leroy but we shouldn’t just immediately assume werewolf,” said Arron looking at Leroy
“But we should at least be prepared,” said Ricky.
Fluttershy stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her and drying her hair off with another towel, as she did so she felt a throbbing pain in her right leg that felt as if she were being stabbed and with every throb it was pushed deeper. She winced and leaned down to rub it after the pain died down some she walked into her room quietly since Rainbow was sleeping. She went over to her dresser and put on a pair of pink panties and a pink bra before putting on a baby blue nightgown and climbing in bed next to Rainbow Dash who was on the right side so she was on the left side which was the side the bathroom was on, She wrapped her arms around Rainbow and fell asleep quickly.
11/15/17
Fluttershy stood up, she was in a large forest in all directions were trees all the same in an infinite expanse. The forest was filled with ambient sounds of screaming, crying and growling all intertwined in a cacophony of terror that was quiet and distant. She turned around and saw a strange figure in the distance but she couldn’t make out the features. It was just there watching her. she turned around and saw an abandoned shack its planks falling off, the porch rotted, and the windows were broken. She walked in she was wearing the clothes she had fallen asleep in, as she entered the old floorboards rough against her feet, the shack was empty except for a wooden rocking chair that looked brand new. In this chair was what appeared to be a woman with long scraggly gray hair and a white tattered dress with dirt stains near the bottom and blood stains at the top, it was facing away from her rocking slowly the wooden floors creaking. Fluttershy walked over slowly and tapped on its shoulder, it stood up and turned around revealing its grotesque face, long misshapen teeth sticking out of her mouth with dry rotting lips and pale white skin, it had black holes with blood dripping from them for eyes and it stood several feet above Fluttershy looking down upon her breathing raggedly. Fluttershy looked at the creature fear plastered across her face, her pupils shrunk in fear as she stepped back she tripped and fell falling through the floor into an infinite expanse of blackness before landing on a floor. She got up and looked around, it was her childhood home she looked in front of her to see her ten-year-old self with a black eye holding a small stuffed bunny rabbit wearing a pink dress and pink sandals. She looked towards the kitchen and could see her father beating her mother with a beer bottle, but she could also see it the creature one thing she hadn’t noticed at first was that instead of hands it had long rusted butcher knives. The creature charged towards her and stabbed her in the stomach causing her to cough up blood before passing out. She was then transported to the forest except she was now running through the forest but her eyes were in a sort of birds eye style of view and she was running similar to a dog.
Arron and Celestia awoke to the sound of something rustling outside their house, not like an animal but like someone trying to break into their house. Arron got out of bed and grabbed the Remington 12 gauge pump action he leaned against the bedroom door before saying.
“Stay here I’m gonna check on Amber.”
Arron slowly walked down the hall towards his fourteen-year-old daughter’s room, he slowly opened the door to see her sleeping in her bed. He shut the door and crept down the hall towards the stairs and slowly crept down them, the stair creaking lightly, he wore a white t-shirt and green and white striped pajama pants. He reached the bottom of the stairs and looked around in the kitchen when he found it to be clear he walked towards the sliding glass door to their back porch. He slid the door open holding the gun up with his right hand and stepped onto the porch flipping on the porch light and pointing the gun over the rail. He looked only to see Fluttershy her pupils bright red and her gown dirty sniffing and growling at the bush below the porch it was almost comedic,
“HEY, WHAT THE HELLA RE YOU DOIN’ DOWN THERE?” Yelled Arron.
She looked up, growled and then ran into the woods like a dog, barking as if she were chasing after something. Arron shook his head and walked back inside shutting the door.
