A Foothold in Spike's Life
You, Dragon Lord Ember, were bellowing out demands to your fellow dragons to quit fighting over who owns how much of some rock, pool of lava, or gemstone. In the middle of a very foul-worded sentence directed at Garble, however, you spotted two little dragons on the horizon.
One of them was orange and dark pink, and you instantly recognized her. Her name was Smolder, and you forced her to attend the School of Friendship over in Ponyville, in order to establish closer relations. As strong as dragons were, you were not an idiotic leader, unlike your father. An alliance with ponies was obviously beneficial.
But the second dragon in the air looked oddly familiar....
"Wait a minute..." you said, shielding your eyes from the sun as you looked upwards, "is that...is that SPIKE?!"
Your question was answered when both of the small dragons landed. You couldn't help but gasp at what you saw. Two little wings, each one about eighteen inches long, sticking out of his back.
"SPIKE!!" you shouted joyfully, but then cleared your throat and covered your mouth. You couldn't show happiness. But Spike certainly could, because he flew into your chest like a little missile.
"Ember, Ember, look, I got WINGS!" Spike shouted into your chest, wrapping his little arms around you. You reciprocated his never-ending affection, stroking his back, your fingers running along the base of his wings.
"My my my, Spike, you've got a strong set of wings here..." you said to him. You really did mean that, they were toned, and full of muscle. Admittedly, you did find him appealing before, but now? Well...now he had a SECOND pair of things you wanted to be yours to play with.
Spike finally separated himself from you, allowing you access to sweet oxygen. You gasped, catching your breath, and walked over to Smolder. Surprisingly, she looked happy to see you.
"And how's my little friendship ambassador doing in school?" you inquired, chuckling.
Smolder crossed her arms, her eyes wandering away. "It surprisingly doesn't suck. I've made five really cool friends, saved our teachers from dying, helped Spikey here get through The Molt..."
Smolder described in lots of detail exactly what sorts of adventure she'd been on to you. Spike, being the talker he is, added in his own little embezzlements to the stories, emphasizing his role. You were really glad this was all working out after that awful situation with that evil-looking portal pony.
"I've gotta ask, though," you said, tilting your head a little, "how come you two are all the way up here? Don't you have a school to be at?"
Spike grabbed your hand, causing you to blush a little. That little orange bratty dragon noticed and giggled at you, but Spike didn't seem to notice. "No no, school's out right now, at least for a little while. We were hoping you'd come to Ponyville and relax with us!"
"Relax?" you asked, "dragons don't DO relaxing."
Spike had a coy smile on his face, which you had come to realize meant that he had an offer you couldn't refuse. And you were right, because he said, "We'll let you eat some of the walls of Twilight's castle..."
You licked your lips at the thought. Princess Twilight was probably annoyed with you for doing that last time, but she had quite a tasty home. So you immediately nodded, mentally preparing yourself for a feast.
"But..." Spike added.
"I hate those buts and I cannot lie..." you groaned.
"You have to come to the spa with us first. Rarity takes me there all the time, and it's so relaxing..." he finished.
Smolder's smooth orange feet curled for a moment. "It might tickle...but Spike isn't wrong, it's really good..."
Oh sweet Celestia, you hated BEING tickled, but doing that to Spike? You've had several dreams about it...it made your legs tense up right then and there.
"Fine, fine, I'm in," you agreed.
Spike jumped for joy and yanked you up into the air with his new set of wings. You were pretty shocked at how strong he was, but you jerked your hand out of his grip, laughing. "I have wings TOO, you know," you said, keeping yourself afloat.
"Sorry, sorry..." Spike blushed, and then began flying towards that crazy little town of Ponyville. You and Smolder followed suit, staying close behind.
Due to your ability to fly, as well as Spike's, you and the two younger dragons reached Ponyville in record time, and you touched down near the town hall like the time you and Thorax met. Smolder and Spike landed with you soon after.
"Now c'mon, we go to the spa first!" Spike said, grabbing your hand when you approached him close enough.
Spike had your hand in a complete death grip, befitting of the would-be Dragon Lord, and he was pulling you along with quite a bit of vigour. This confused you, because you were the Dragon Lord, and you needed no help to relax. All you really needed to do was go to the Theater of Fire, where dragons train for the Gauntlet.
But you and the little guy were good friends, and you couldnt help but smile a bit at his enthusiasm. So you went along with his demands, and found yourself being rushed to this 'spa' thing. Obviously, though, you didn't show it. Dragons don't let their joy be seen.
Smolder flew ahead of Spike and opened up the door to the Day Spa, and Spike slowed his pace to walking. He led you inside, and instantly the smell of herbs and flowers hit your nostrils. This really was the epitome of pony-style relaxation. You really didn't like this place, but that's not what you were here for.
"Back again, sir Spike?" two very similar-looking mares asked. One of them was pink-skinned with blue hair, one was blue-skinned with pink hair. They both had white flowers on their uniforms, and they had eyes that could captivate any stallion in seconds.
Spike nodded happily, pointing at you and Smolder. "Thats right, Aloe, Lotus...I have a first-time dragon here, so after you give Smolder and me our dragon-hooficures, go easy on her, if you can."
Both of the mares looked at you, and their eyes glanced down at your teal feet for a second. They then nodded. "Absolutely, dear Spike, right this way for the usual."
Spike and Smolder followed the two spa mares down a short hallway, and then into a large room. You ran after them, curiously checking out all the strange amenities that simply did not exist in the Dragonlands. Soft, easy chairs that ponies were sprawled out on, little tubs of water at the end of the chairs, cucumbers for some reason, and weird pasty face masks.
"This is supposed to help me 'relax'? What even is all this stuff?" you asked your little purple dragon mate. Yes, he WAS your mate, you WERE going to make him like you.
He just didn't know yet.
Spike hopped onto one of those chairs and leaned back. Aloe immediately knelt down and whipped out her spa-tools. She used a long metal thing to scrape the bottom of Spike's right foot, firmly pressing into the smooth, scaly surface. Spike bit his lip and held back a few giggles, but he was clearly enjoying it.
You looked over to Smolder and observed Lotus working on her longer, slimmer feet. Smolder's toes curled uncontrollably as she felt the scrapy thing gently scratch over her admittedly adorable feet, and she was barely able to keep herself still. Lotus seemed to know what to do, though, and held the young dragon's ankle tightly.
"C-c'mon Ember, arent y-you gonna....hehe...join us?" Spike called out. You couldn't resist his jolly grin, and you laid down onto one of the chairs, cautiously stretching your legs out and letting your soles be exposed, like your dragon friends next to you. You were tough, you were strong. You were brave enough to let someone else touch your feet...
One of the employees sat down on a stool, her tools in hand. She inspected your draconic blue foot, pressing her thumb into your firm sole, and spreading your toes apart. You blushed brightly, this was the first time someone had felt your sole for more than a few seconds. It felt weird, it felt wrong...and the employee's nails were really digging into there, and tickled like mad already. You bit your lip hard, as she nodded to herself and finished her inspection.
The mare working on your feet started using what looked like a thin cheese grater of some kind on your left foot. You covered your mouth, curling your toes hard even at the slightest touch of this tool. You wished your feet weren't so horribly sensitive...
The tool scratched across your sole quite easily once she pulled your left three toes back. Instinctively, your right foot rubbed against your left to try to defend it from the scratchy sensation, but the spa worker was able to keep your foot steady enough to work.

How were Spike and Smolder able to just let their feet be tormented like this, and never even need to move them that much? Trying to find an answer was much easier, since you felt your feet get briefly submerged in warm water at the end of your comfortable seat, providing a few seconds of relief from the tickling.
Your eyes briefly wandered a little to see how Spike could stand this. But when he came into view, you just managed to catch his eyes looking downward in your direction...and something told you that rubbing your soles together to calm the tingling down was getting his attention. When your eyes met his, however, he quickly turned away, from both you and Smolder.
It wasn't long, though, before the massages began. The worker tending to you lifted your sensitive, flexible foot out of the warm water, and very gently began wiping off any dead scales remaining on both of your feet, with a warm towel. "Ok Ember, we're done here, now, let's go to the sauna!" Spike said, enthusiastically. Smolder was already well on her way ahead of him, so you got up quickly and followed your two dragon friends.
"Hey...Spike, what's a sauna?" you had to ask. Spike smiled back at you and grabbed hold of your claw, explaining what exactly it was to you, and why it helped you to go through it. You tried not to blush at the tough little dragon's touch, and nodded to everything he said.
"We're here, c'mon Spike!" Smolder called out, and you both followed the orange dragon inside. You sat down on a bench, and a worker threw a bucket of water over a pile of very hot stones in the center of the room. Quickly, the employee shut the door, and then there was awkward silence, and lots of hot steam.
Honestly, as nice as it felt, you were already starting to miss the feeling of your feet being pampered. The strange sensation of your soles being half-tickled, the gentle grip of the hand around your toes...you just wish you held them still a little better.
While Spike and Smolder were discussing how nice it felt to have their feet done, you were completely lost in thought, the treatment earlier still on your mind. "Ummm, Ember? You alright there?" Smolder asked, noticing your gaze locked on your left foot. You didn't realize how closely you were inspecting the smooth surface.
"Huh? Oh, yes, Smolder, I'm ok...don't worry about it," you replied. But Spike looked a little more concerned.
"You sure? The workers here aren't exactly professionals in dragon foot care...did they do a bad job? I can get them to do it again if you like..."
The thought of it caused you to blush. But you had other thoughts...maybe Spike wouldn't mind touching your feet? You tried to think of a way to ask him without seeming like...well, a soft and weak pony.
"Actually, Spike...maybe you could look at them yourself? I mean, not that I NEED you to, but...to make sure they did a good job, it would be nice."
Now you saw Spike blushing, his eyes as wide as dinner plates. For some reason, now you felt heaps more sure of yourself. But perhaps you could have two DIFFERENT dragons fondle your sensitive feet?
"Smolder. I could use your eyes as well. Take a look at one of my feet, with Spike," you ordered, pointing to your left foot. Smolder looked taken aback, but she nodded to Spike, shyly.

"Ummm, Ember...are...you alright?" Spike inquired, looking at you with a heavy blush. He looked down between your legs. Your accursed claws had betrayed you! "Nnnghh...I-I'll give you another week of break...convince Headmare Twilight it's important dragon business..." you stammered out. Curses, you're meant to sound likea Dragon Lord, not a sweaty pile of sex!
"Deal," Smolder whispered back. You immediately let go of poor Spike's face and extended one of your legs outwards. The little orange dragon took your foot in her hands, and after some...slight hesitation, began to rub her face against it.
"What...what're you two...." Spike stammered, covering his cheeks. You smirked back at him, gently tracing your claws down Smolder's head, her tongue lashing out onto your soft, perfect sole. You bit your lip firmly, but steadied yourself. This was for Spike, first and foremost.

All three of you decided to leave the Day Spa quickly and quietly, leaving a large bag of gems on the front desk. You may have just realized that you were in that sauna for two straight hours, but you look, and feel, like you're glowing with health, all the more fit for worship. And so do your new mates.
"By the way, you still owe me a meal at Twilight's..." you told Spike, licking your lips. All that fun made you hungry.
