{Anon’s POV}

You could’ve sworn you saw Twilight with a nervous look on her face, but you’re not gonna think too personally about it. For the moment, you need to grab your shit from fashionista horse. You also noticed some clouds coming in.

“Uhhh hey Twilight, wasn’t it supposed to be sunny all day”?

“I believe so, I mean...unless the pegasi just said screw it and rolled some clouds in”.

“Well, hopefully it won’t come to the point where it might rain. Rainbow Dash did tell me it was gonna be a quote ‘nice’ day today”.

“I wouldn’t worry too much about it Anon. You worry about a lot of things anyways”.

Okay, didn’t have to rub it in purple smart. You couldn’t help it, you were always the type of person wanting to know what to expect. Scratch that thought, Rarity’s workshop is just up ahead.

“Oh my god, finally! She just had to be all the way across town” you said with a sigh of relief.

“You’re such a baby *giggle*”.

“Twilight, you are not helping”. She just laughs in response as both of you enter the boutique.

“Hello, welcome to Carousel Boutique! I’ll be with you in just a se-OH MY Anon and Twilight what a surprise! How may I help you two today”?

“If I’m correct, you have some apparel ready for me miss”?

“As a matter of fact I do! Let me go grab them real quick,” Rarity says as she disappears in the blink of an eye. Twilight then chimes in.

"Sooo….what exactly did you have Rarity whip out for you”?

“Oh, just the basics. Some shirts, pants etc. I did ask for a tank top for whenever I’m lifting heavy stuff and can allow more air to flow through on my bare skin. I’ll sweat like crazy with anything else on”.

“Apologies but, what’s a tank top”? Even Rarity didn’t understand it at first.

“See this shirt I’m wearing? It’s basically this but without the sleeves on my upper arms. A sleeveless shirt in simple terms”.

“Wouldn’t you get cold in that pretty quick”?

“Yes, I’ll literally turn into an ice cube and die”. She didn’t take your sarcasm lightly.

“Oh 'ha ha', you know you’re full of it”. At this point Rarity had returned.

“Alrighty darling, here’s all your wear. If you’d like, you can try them on down the hall in the fitting room.”

“Yeah, I think I’ll do that,” you say as you’re already making your way to said fitting room.

{Twilight’s POV}

You watch as Anon walks off towards the other room to try on his stuff. Your gaze was halted by Rarity initiating a conversation with you.

“So Twilight my dear, how have you been lately? How’s Spikey-Wikey”?

“I’ve been doing good, Spike’s been alright. He’s still pretty pumped about his new wings. Little dragon is growing up *giggle*”.

“Goodness right? Time flies by so fast, you’re amazed at just how the little ones grow. What have you and Anon been doing”?

“Oh we’ve just been hanging out throughout the day, we took a walk through the park and have been catching up. Have you noticed all the crows around here lately”?

“Oh don’t even get me started, dear. Those birds are so obnoxious and Opalescence has been trying to catch one. How disgusting of her am I right”?

“Well Rarity...she’s a cat and cats are carnivores. They eat meat, so they’ll eat a bird”.

“I suppose you do have a point there,” Rarity said, obviously still disgusted by the thought of her cat eating a bird.

As this conversation kept on going, you were waiting for a moment to just ask her the big question. Or more so, just talk about the issue at hoof. The thought of you loving Anon has been flowing through your head this entire time and you just needed someone to talk to about it. Now was your chance to ask.

“Rarity? I have a question to ask or really...I just want to talk about something. You don’t mind do you”?

“But of course darling! Whatever seems to be troubling you”?

“Uhhh before I tell you, can we go somewhere a little more private”?

“I don’t see why not”.

You and Rarity settled into her bedroom, you just didn’t want to risk Anon randomly popping back out to hear the conversation. Or worse, be hiding somewhere and eavesdropping. Now how to word this properly….

“Okay Rarity, promise me you won’t judge me for what I’m about to discuss. This is a serious matter”.

“You have my word, darling”.

“Okay then…..for the past few months I’ve been experiencing this feeling. A feeling that feels like a radiating flame in my chest. This feeling started after Anon left the castle and moved into his own place. I...didn’t really think too much about it since I assumed it was just me being all mopey about him leaving. But this feeling, it kept growing. It kept on coming around, especially when I was within Anon’s presence. I couldn’t really determine just what this sensation was, it really bothered me. I even sent a letter to Princess Celestia asking what she thought about this and her response was something I didn’t want to accept just yet. She stated I was more than likely ‘in love’. I kept pondering that thought and asked myself a lot of questions. But what I really want to know, is….is this what love really feels like”?

“Now love can be a complicated topic, darling. But based on how you’re describing this feeling you’re going through. I can easily say that you are indeed in love Twilight. You’re in love with Anon”.

“But why? Why him? I mean...it’s not that I don’t approve of the thought of me an Anon being a thing, it’s just….I guess what I’m getting at is I just don’t know. He’s not even a pony, he’s a human”!

“It may be quite an interesting combination, but I don’t see how it would be an issue if you and him were together. Sure he’s of different species, but look at griffons. They’re a mixture of a lion and an eagle, yet it somehow works. Look dear, my advice is to just follow what your heart and inner gut is telling you. Love is an beautiful feeling, you shouldn’t let what anyone else might think affect your love for another. When you feel it’s right, why don’t you just tell Anon how you feel. It’s way better than just sitting around doing nothing, you would just end up feeling even worse as time goes on”.

“*sigh* I guess you’re right, Rarity. I’m gonna think about this a bit more before I commit to anything. Thank you, I really needed to get that off my chest,” you said as you and Rarity went in for a hug.

“It’s my pleasure, darling. I’m always here to listen and help in any way I can”.

{Anon’s POV}

As you were trying on the new set of clothes, you kept hearing the sound of hooves clopping around from above.

“Hopefully they aren’t bitching about something,” you thought.

But then again, when you put two women together, interesting things are bound to happen. Whether it be positive or negative. Knowing Twilight and Rarity though, you weren’t too concerned.

“Wow this tank top fits just perfectly, I should tip Rarity extra for this one”.

While you shuffle around some more clothing, you started singing along to a Police song in your head. Particularly Murder By Numbers….such an underrated song by them. Nonetheless you kept on singing along.

Eventually you wrapped up your changing session and went back out to the main lobby. There was one problem though. Rarity and Twilight weren’t anywhere to be seen.

“Probably still upstairs doing whatever, I’ll wait”.

Your eyes gaze to the corner and see Rarity's pet cat whom you forgot the name of.

"Here kitty kitty!" The cat just hisses in response.

"Fucking cats I swear".

{Twilight’s POV}

Okay, at this point you weren’t denying your feelings anymore. You did view Anon as more than a friend. You loved him and now that you gained some support, you just need to figure out how you’re gonna break the news to Anon. Speaking of Anon, he just finished checking out his new stuff as both you and Rarity headed back down to the lobby.

“Well there y’all are, I've been sitting here for like 10 hours”!

“Oh please, it wasn’t that long dear. Twilight and I were just having a little lady talk,” Rarity said as she gave you a wink. Rarity, you're not helping.

“I’ll say Rarity, you never cease to impress with what you can do. You’re way better than what the humans did back at home,” Anon said as Rarity blushes at the compliment.

“Why thank you darling! I always love hearing a satisfied customer”.

“So how much do I owe you”?

“Oh don’t worry about it this time, I’m feeling extra generous today”.

“Wow, thanks Rarity you’re the best”!

After a few more word exchanges, you and Anon made your way out of the Boutique wishing Rarity a nice day and such. It was getting really cloudy now. Perhaps there’s bad karma for Anon worrying too much.

“Huh..more clouds. I’m starting to think Rainbow was lying and this might be a prank. That little shit”.

“I’m honestly not surprised, sometimes the weather can be unpredictable even if the pegasi state what it’s gonna be. They have the power to change it whenever and however they see fit”.

“Sounds just like my old home. One day it’s 100 degrees outside and sunny, the next day it’s below freezing and snowing. Except pegasus don’t say what comes and goes. It’s all mother nature’s work”.

“The weather sounds very brutal from where you came from *giggle*”.

It was at that moment you felt the first raindrop. You figured Anon might kill Rainbow for this one. But luckily for the both of you, your castle was just down the street. Perhaps you could shelter until the rain subsides. Based on the dark grey clouds in the distance, you could tell it was about to get pretty intense outside.

“Yeah that doesn’t look good, shit about to pour like crazy” Anon stated.

“My castle is just down the corner, let’s just camp out there and wait for the storm to subside”.

“I guess...I was honestly hoping to do some more fun activities with you around town”.

“It’s okay, we can just cause absolute chaos at the castle, I’ll make Spike and Starlight clean it up if we make a mess”.

“Now that’s what I like to hear, let’s get going!”.

You both quickly rushed to the castle as more raindrops kept on falling. Once you two made it to the castle, y’all quickly went inside. A few seconds later, it started pouring outside. Perfect timing! Y’all were then greeted by Starlight Glimmer.

“Well you’re back earlier than I presumed. Oh where are my manners, hey Anon, long time no see”!

“Hey Starlight”.

“You both look exhausted….doing alright”?

“Yeah I’m fine, Twilight however is a little upset her mane got wet” you smacked Anon upside his head.

“Oh come on, I’m just messing with you hehe” you were clearly embarrassed.

“Uhhuh yeah, anyways it’s pouring rain when it was supposed to be sunny today”!

“Yeah, you two barely managed to escape the torrential downpour, would’ve been funny to see you both getting soaked *giggle*”. You weren’t gonna listen to anymore nonsense about getting wet.

You went to your room for a bit to redo your mane. You then started thinking that now that you and Anon are vacating in the castle until the rain moves on, it could be the perfect chance to confess your feelings. But you needed to think of how you were gonna do it.

As you gathered you thoughts, you took the time to relax and watch the rain fall outside.
