Prologue
"GUARDS! GUARDS!" the alicorn princess screamed, seeing two strangers in her bedroom.
The two dragons quickly turned to her and shivered. One of them had a small box in its claws.
"P-Princess C-Celestia..." the pink dragoness spoke. "It's not what it looks like"
"GUARDS!" Princess Celestia however, did not stop screaming, causing fear on their side.
"It will not happen again" the dark purple male dragon put down the box back in place. "... I swear!"
When the two dragons tried to ease the situation, the guards galloped into the bedroom.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAVE YOU DID!?" the princess of the sun has spread her wings out with anger. "DO YOU EVEN KNOW, WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO!?"
The both dragons only bowed to her, with fright in their eyes.
Princess Celestia sighed, throwing out all her anger and looked at them.
"What prompted you to such a desperate move?" she asked, this time having a disappointment in her eyes. "Is your life unpleasant?"
The pink dragoness was the first to be brave enough to look at the alicorn.
Her tired eyes showed despair.
A typical peasant despair.
"Maybe you'll explain to me why you took this step?" Princess Celestia asked, unable to believe that these two friendly dragons could do something like this for a royal.
"Arya, please do not tell her anything..." the dark purple male dragon spoke to the pink dragoness.
"SILENCE!" The sun princess shouted, before calming down. "... Let her explain"
The pink dragon looked back.
Celestia's guards were full of fury. Their angry eyes stared at the two dragons waiting for them to answer.
"...And?" The white alicorn asked, stamping her front hoof with impatience.
"We didn't had a choice" the pink dragoness shaked. "It was the only way to feed our son"
The Pink Dragoness then looked with a sad look at her belly.
"He needs us" she said. "He will not live long without food and our help"
Celestia raised her eyebrow, and gave a sign for a guard.
One of the guards came closer, and gently put his right ear against the dragoness' belly.
This situation, however did not please the dark purple dragon.
"HEY!" dragon shouted angirly. "HOOVES OF MY WIFE!"
"Calm down Gaius… He only checks" Arya smiled.
Gaius sighed.
"Do what you need"
The guard listened for a few minutes until he felt a slight movement.
"She is not lying Princess. She is carrying an egg" The guard spoke.
Celestia looked back at both dragons.
"Why did not you look for a job?"
"I used to be a Dragon Lord, but a little pink dragon took my throne" Gaius scratched his head nervously. "I was too credulous"
Princess Celestia looked at Arya.
"You mean her?" she asked.
"No... Arya is not the only dragoness with pink color" Gaius corrected. "She is really trustful compared to little brat called Scales"
"So… You're that Dragon Lord from legends?" Celestia asked.
The dark purple male dragon nodded.
"Well…" Princess Celestia stared at her, notes for a while. "I'm sorry, but you will have to be both locked in a cell"
"WHAT!?" both dragons gasped. "PLEASE... NO..."
"Rules are rules… Sorry..." the sun princess sighted.
The two dragons followed several guards before them.
They were both connected with special chains, so dragons would not escape.
They were too weak to fight the guard, so that they would not obstruct the trouble, they behaved obediently.
To their surprise, they missed each cell next to them.
Gaius raised his eyebrow.
"I thought we would be locked up in one of those"
One of the guards looked back.
"These rooms are too small for you"
"Pardon?" Arya asked. "Are you suggesting, that we are giants?"
"Nope" the guard chuckled. "I mean, you're too tall, not giant or fat"
Gaius smiled to his wife.
"You must be calm for our son, honey"
Arya blushed, but her smile dissappeared.
"I hope our son will not look at us with crooked eyes, when he grows up"
"Do not worry... He should understand that we did it for him" the dark purple dragon smiled.
"We're here" another guard stopped in front of the giant door, and slowly opened it.
"What is this place?" Gaius asked.
"A special prison for you" the guard said. "Come in and see it"
Gaius and Arya began to hesitate.
They were not sure what type of cell it was.
They had a great deal of thoughts in their heads, as they felt anxiety.
"COME IN!" the guard's patience was over. "We have more important things to do"
"Fine... Fine..." Gaius and Arya both went into the room, hearing doors close behind them.
The mentioned room was decorated in white... Even floors. To the right was a large glass transparent wall
There was a special guest waiting for them in the room.
"H-hello p-princess" Arya spoke first. "H-how are y-you?"
"Good" the sun princess smiled. "Do you feel better?"
"I... dunno" the pink dragoness shrugged.
The alicorn came closer to dark purple dragon.
"Do you know what to do if the labor began?" she asked.
Gaius nodded.
"Of course princess… Arya was reading about it in a books"
"Don't worry princess, I should know, how to deal with it" the pink dragoness added.
Princess Celestia opened a glass room with the keys she had with her, using her magic.
"Remember… Only I can open this room" she said with a serious expression on her muzzle. "So you can not go out, without my permission"
The alicorn removed chains from their claws and stepped back.
"Remember about it, what I said" Celestia asked, making sure.
This time, the dragons did not said anything, going with their heads down to the glass room.
"How obedient" she smirked. "I must admit that I did not expect such a nice behavior from dragons"
Celestia closed the glass room, turning the key in a padlock.
Gaius, together with Arya, did not hear the princess of the ponies anymore. With their sad eyes they watched as Celestia left the room.
The sun princess stopped next to her guards, and looked at them.
They saluted, after seeing princess next to them.
"Look after that couple, that none of the two would do anything stupid" she said, with tired eyes. "I need to go back to sleep"
"Yes ma'am" they both shouted. "You can count on us"
Celestia smiled and walked through the corridor.
