Chapters Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie
Author's Note
Twilight's outfit will be her Legend of Everfree outfit. Sunset's will be the same, but her shorts being as short and tight as Twilight's, and the same with Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity will be wearing their original main outfits from the first film, and Applejack, a white and green T-shirt and some short, tight jean cutoffs.
Also, like in Monday Blues, white fabric doesn't turn transparent when wet in this story.
Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie
Fluttershy and Rarity were walking at the park. It was one of the most fun, relaxing ways to spend time together, next to the spa.
They were just making plans to go to the spa when a butterfly flew by Fluttershy. Fluttershy put her finger out towards it, but instead of landing on it, the butterfly flew away. Fluttershy chased after it. "Wait! I'm not gonna hurt you!" Usually butterflies loved her.
It flew over a large mud puddle. Fluttershy, too focused on the butterfly, wasn't looking where she was going. She tripped over a rock and fell face-first in the mud.
"Oh no, Fluttershy!" Rarity ran over to her, stopping at the edge of the mud puddle.
Fluttershy sat up and looked around. She sighed in disappointment that the butterfly was nowhere in sight.
"Are you all right, darling?" said Rarity.
"Aside from missing out on the chance to get close to a butterfly, yes."
Rarity felt awful for Fluttershy, knowing how much she'd hate to get covered in mud herself. "Don't worry about it. I'll take you home and get you cleaned up."
Fluttershy stood up. "You don't have to, Rarity. We can continue our walk."
"Fluttershy, darling, you're absolutely filthy, and I don't want you to have to stay like that on my account."
"It's not so bad, really."
"I insist on giving you a bath."
"Well... Okay, if you really want to."
Rarity and Fluttershy walked to Rarity's house. Fluttershy took off her shoes and socks on the mat, and wiped her feet. By now she was no longer dripping with mud, so she didn't track any to Rarity's bathroom.
Rarity filled the tub with hot water and soap. She turned toward Fluttershy and paused, not sure as to whether she should ask Fluttershy to take her dress off. Would Fluttershy be more uncomfortable with getting her dress wet or being seen in her underwear?
Fluttershy answered that question before Rarity could ask. "Um... Is it all right if I leave my dress on? I don't want to... um..." She blushed.
"Of course, darling. Whatever's best for you."
Fluttershy looked relieved, and stepped into the tub. She sat down, sumberging her mud-soaked skirt.
"First, we'll wash your hair." Rarity filled a bucket with warm water and poured it over Fluttershy's head, soaking her top half and her hair. Rarity poured some shampoo on her hand and started to wash Fluttershy's hair. Fluttershy wasn't used to having anyone besides herself wash her hair, but she did like the feeling. She closed her eyes and relaxed with a sigh, enjoying the warm bath.
Once Rarity was done washing Fluttershy's hair, she took a bath sponge, poured soap on it, and scrubbed Fluttershy's back with it, then her sides, coating her top half in suds.
"Now, on all fours," said Rarity.
Fluttershy did as she was told, and Rarity scrubbed every area of her skirt, even her rear, which Fluttershy didn't mind, having done rump bumps with Pinkie Pie. Plus, Rarity didn't lift Fluttershy's skirt, she knew she wouldn't appreciate that. Then Rarity scrubbed Fluttershy's upper legs.
"That's done, now sit down with your feet on the edge."
Fluttershy got into the position, and Rarity scrubbed her lower legs and feet, which, being underwater for so long, only took a few seconds.
"Feet back in the water."
Fluttershy resumed her original position. Rarity drained the tub, then filled another bucket with warm water and poured it over Fluttershy, washing all the suds off her. Fluttershy was soaking wet, but she was clean.
"How do you feel?" said Rarity.
"Clean," said Fluttershy. "And relaxed."
"I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Now, let's continue our walk at the park. Unless you want to change into something dry first."
"No, I'm all right."
"Fair enough, at least you're not covered in mud."
...
Later that afternoon, Fluttershy was at Pinkie Pie's house. The sun had dried her off while at the park.
"So, what did you do today?" said Pinkie as she was putting chocolate frosting on a cake.
"I went for a walk at the park with Rarity."
"Ooh! How did that go?"
"It was interesting. I found a butterfly, but it was avoiding me. I ran after it, but I fell in the mud. Rarity gave me a bath, and it felt nice."
"Rarity gave you a bath?"
"Yes. Oh, but she let me wear my dress in the tub, I didn't really want to do it the traditional way in front of her." She blushed lightly.
"That sounds real fun! Can you do it to me?"
"But you're not even dirty."
"Um... I didn't wash for a week!"
Fluttershy sniffed her. "You smell like you just showered this morning."
"Um..." Pinkie took her bowl of frosting and shook it above her head. The frosting poured over her, covering her from head to toe. "Now I need a bath!" She giggled.
So did Fluttershy, and they walked into the bathroom. Fluttershy filled the tub with water, pouring soap in halfway through. Once the tub was full, Pinkie jumped into the tub and sat in there. "So, what first?"
"Rarity did my hair first." Fluttershy poured a bucket of water over Pinkie's head, making her hair go flat. She took some shampoo and washed Pinkie's hair with it. Pinkie giggled the entire time.
Once Fluttershy was sure Pinkie's hair was clean, she took a bath scrubber, poured soap on it, and scrubbed her back, then her sides.
"We're done," said Fluttershy once Pinkie's top half was covered in soap bubbles rather than frosting.
"Awwwwww..." Pinkie was disappointed that the bath was over already.
"Wait... no we're not. I have to wash your lower half."
Pinkie excitedly got on all fours and raised her rear end in the air. Fluttershy scrubbed Pinkie's shorts, then her upper legs, creating more suds.
"Do you want me to wash your lower legs too?"
Pinkie sat back down and put her feet on the edge. Fluttershy scrubbed her lower legs, but when she started to scrub her feet, this tickled Pinkie, who started to laugh and splash, so Fluttershy stopped.
"No no no no no, keep doing it," said Pinkie.
Fluttershy held Pinkie's foot and scrubbed. Pinkie laughed and splashed in the tub more, soaking Fluttershy. Eventually she stopped.
"Now, do the other foot!"
Fluttershy scrubbed Pinkie's left foot, and causing her to splash Fluttershy more laughing so hard.
"Okay, I think we're done," said Fluttershy. "Well, almost, I still have to rinse you." She drained the tub and poured a bucket of water over Pinkie Pie. "Did you like it?"
"I loved it!" said Pinkie. She saw how wet Fluttershy was, and giggled nervously. "Oops... sorry."
"I don't mind."
Pinkie climbed out of the tub and did a rump bump with Fluttershy.
The following morning, Pinkie Pie went over to Rainbow Dash's house to think of pranks to pull on their friends.
"So, what have you been up to?" Rainbow Dash asked Pinkie Pie.
"I just had the most fun bath ever!" said Pinkie, and she described how she had covered herself in frosting and had Fluttershy give her a bath, and described every detail of it.
"You're weird, Pinkie," chuckled Rainbow.
"Actually..." Pinkie began, about to explain that Fluttershy had gotten a similar bath from Rarity.
"But that gives me a really good idea for a prank!" said Rainbow Dash.
"Ooh, what is it?"
...
"What?" said Twilight.
"If it was just us, she'd know it was a prank," said Rainbow Dash. "She might be more willing to try it if it was you. We'll even let you wash her to show her how it's done."
"What if she doesn't find it funny?"
"She will," said Pinkie. "I liked it."
"Yeah, but you're Pinkie Pie," said Twilight.
"Don't you want to test her scientific skepticism?" said Rainbow Dash. "See if she'd actually fall for it or not?"
"Hmmmm... It does sound like an interesting thing to test. All right, I'll do it."
...
Sunset Shimmer was sitting on her couch watching some sports when she heard the doorbell ring. She opened the door, and saw Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie.
"Hi Twilight, Rainbow, Pinkie."
"Hi Sunset." Twilight took a deep breath. "Last time I was here, I saw some Mane N Tail Shampoo. Isn't that shampoo for horses?"
"Well, I am a pony, and it's working just fine for me."
"But you are at least taking your baths like a regular human, right?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know how humans always wear outfits?"
"I'm quite used to it. Why?"
"Typically, we wear them in the tub, too, and either let them dry or change into something else."
"Oh. I didn't know that." Sunset blushed a bit. "Have I been doing it wrong for years?"
"Totally," said Rainbow Dash, while Pinkie tried to keep a straight face. Sunset thought Pinkie was laughing at her.
"Wait, if humans take baths, what's the shower part for?"
"For rinsing off all the soap suds," said Twilight. "I can show you how it's done, to make sure you've got it right."
"I'm not dirty at all, but sure."
They walked into the bathroom. Rainbow and Pinkie chuckling to each other. Sunset stepped aside and let Twilight fill the tub with soapy water.
"Now, take your shoes and socks off, and get into the tub," said Twilight.
Sunset removed her shoes and socks, and climbed into the tub, remaining standing.
"Sit down."
Sunset sat down in the water, submerging her shorts. She felt a little strange doing this, but apparently it was how humans regularly washed. Besides, she was no stranger to getting wet, especially on Mondays. She just didn't usually get her outfits wet in the tub like this.
Twilight took a bucket, filled it with water from the tub, and poured it over Sunset's head. She took some of her horse shampoo and lathered Sunset's hair. Sunset did kind of like not having to shampoo her hair herself.
Once this was done, Twilight found a bottle of liquid soap, put it on a bath scrubber, and started to scrub Sunset's back while holding her hair up. It felt weird getting a bath like this, but at the same time, it was very enjoyable.
Twilight finished scrubbing Sunset's back and scrubbed her sides, one by one.
"So, now what?" said Sunset when Twilight was done.
"Now you get on all fours so I can wash your lower half."
"Okay." Sunset assumed the position, and Twilight scrubbed her shorts and her back legs, so that she was promptly covered in suds. She felt so slippery, yet clean.
Once Twilight was done, she said "Sit back down now and let me wash your feet."
Sunset sat down and lifted her feet. Twilight scrubbed her feet and her lower legs, and then drained the water and turned the shower head on, making sure it was warm enough. All the soap and shampoo was rinsed off Sunset, who continued to sit in the tub, enjoying it.
Twilight turned the shower head off.
"There, now I can bathe like a real human," said Sunset.
Rainbow and Pinkie laughed hard. There was no need to keep it a secret anymore now that the prank was over.
"What?" said Sunset.
"Yeah, about that..." said Twilight. "You've been washing the right way all these years. This was all just a prank."
"Oh." Sunset blushed lightly, but chuckled. "Good one, Twilight."
"Actually, they came up with the idea, they just wanted my help because you wouldn't fall for it if it was just them. I wanted to see if you'd actually believe it, and I kind of feel bad that I went along with it."
"Don't," said Sunset. "It was fun."
"See you this afternoon," said Twilight as she walked out the door with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.
"Wanna go give Rarity flowers with pepper in them?" said Pinkie.
"Yeah!" said Rainbow Dash, and they ran off.
Twilight still felt bad about tricking Sunset so easily. She forgot that Sunset didn't mind at all. She wished she could make it up to her.
An idea crossed her mind. She ran to the nearest mud puddle...
...
Sunset was sitting on her couch, still in her wet outfit to remind herself of how foolish she had been to fall for Twilight's prank, and how fun it had been for her. The doorbell rang again. She answered it.
"Did you forget some... Whoa, what happened to you?"
Twilight was covered from head to foot in mud. "I rolled around in the mud so you could give me a bath, to make it up to you for that prank."
"You didn't have to do that. It was really funny, and I enjoyed it."
"Well, I still need a bath."
Sunset led Twilight into the bathroom. Twilight removed her glasses, she'd rinse them under the sink. She removed her shoes, but left her socks on, and stood aside. "You do it all."
Sunset filled the tub with water and poured soap into it. Once the tub was full, Twilight climbed in and sat down. Sunset poured a bucket of warm water over her, and picked up her shampoo. "You don't mind that I'll use my horse shampoo to wash your hair, do you?"
"Not at all."
Sunset scrubbed Twilight's hair with her shampoo. As she proceeded to scrub her back and sides, Twilight giggled, for she was finding this enjoyable. She didn't feel so bad about doing this to Sunset anymore.
Once Sunset was done, Twilight got on all fours and let Sunset scrub her shorts and upper legs. Then she sat with her feet on the sides while Sunset scrubbed her feet and lower legs, tickling Twilight slightly.
Finally, Sunset drained the water and rinsed Twilight off with the shower head.
"See how fun it is?" said Sunset.
"Yes," said Twilight. "We should do it again sometime."
Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash
Rarity and Fluttershy were visiting Applejack at her farm a few days later. Applejack was busy working, but she would be done soon, and they were looking forward to hanging out with her when she was.
Rarity was leaning against a pigpen, because Fluttershy wanted to be near the pigs, finding them to be cute. Rarity found them repulsive, but she didn't give Fluttershy a hard time.
Then Pinkie Pie suddenly appeared. "Surprise!" she said.
Rarity was startled. She lost her footing and fell backwards over the fence, landing in the mud with a SPLAT!
"Oopsie... Sorry, Rarity," said Pinkie.
Rarity sat up. She was covered from head to toe in mud, and the pigs started tasting her. She was absolutely revolted.
"Are you all right, Rarity?" said Fluttershy.
Rarity stood up. "No, I am not all right. I really need to shower."
"Why don't I give you a bath?"
Rarity thought for a moment. "Yes, that would be nice. If you're up for it."
"Did you say you're givin' Rarity a bath?" said Applejack, who had finished her work and was now standing next to them, dripping with sweat.
Fluttershy nodded.
"You can use one of my tubs outside, and I'll help you."
They walked to a part of the farm with a wooden tub, and Applejack set the hose on hot and filled the tub with warm, soapy water.
Without a moment's hesitation, Rarity climbed into the tub. She felt better already.
Fluttershy poured a bucket of warm water over Rarity's head, making her feel even better as it already rinsed some mud off her. "I'll start on her hair. You wash her sides and back with soap."
As Fluttershy scrubbed Rarity's hair with shampoo, Applejack scrubbed her sides and back, covering her top half in suds. Rarity was greatly enjoying this. At first she thought it was because all that disgusting mud was being washed off her, but she started to wonder if she might be finding the bath itself to be fun.
Once they'd finished washing Rarity's top half, and Fluttershy took a cloth and washed the mud off her face, Rarity got into a position so her skirt was above water. It was cleaner than before, but still had traces of mud on it. Applejack scrubbed Rarity's skirt as hard as she could while Fluttershy scrubbed her legs.
When that was done, Rarity sat back down and rested her feet on the edge of the tub, and let Applejack and Fluttershy each scrub one of them.
Then Rarity stepped out of the tub, and Applejack sprayed her with the hose, rinsing all the soap off her. Rarity was thankful the hose was still on warm. When she was done, she was sparkly clean and soaking wet.
"How do you feel now, Rarity?" said Fluttershy.
"Perfectly clean," said Rarity. "And that was rather enjoyable." She then noticed how sweaty Applejack was. She was also a bit dirty, too. She whispered something to Pinkie, and then they threw Applejack in the tub.
"What gives, Rarity?"
"You need a bath as well."
"Oh, sure, what the heck."
Rarity removed Applejack's hat and poured a bucket of water over her head. She started to wash her hair while Pinkie washed her sides and her back. Applejack was finding this to be kind of fun. She could see why Rarity liked it so much.
Once Applejack's top half was coated in suds, Rarity and Fluttershy stopped scrubbing. Applejack assumed the same position that Rarity had at this point, allowing Rarity to scrub her shorts, especially her rear end, while Pinkie scrubbed her legs.
Then Applejack sat back down and put her feet on the edge of the tub. Rarity and Pinkie scrubbed each foot, and then the bath was done. Pinkie hosed Applejack down to rinse her, and she was clean.
They sat outside on the grass, having a fun conversation, and the sun dried Rarity and Applejack in no time.
"That means all of us have taken a bath like this except Rainbow Dash," said Pinkie.
...
The following day, Rainbow Dash was playing soccer. There was a bit of mud on the field because it had rained last night. Rainbow Dash won, but her outfit was splattered with mud.
They celebrated Rainbow's victory with a party at Pinkie's house.
"Rainbow Dash, you simply can't go through the rest of the party like that," said Rarity.
"I'm fine," said Rainbow Dash, who didn't mind getting dirty.
Rarity motioned to Pinkie, who ran outside into her backyard. Rainbow wasn't sure what that was all about.
Eventually she returned. "We're all ready!" she said.
"Wonderful," said Rarity. "Now, can the rest of you take her there? I don't want to touch her when she's in this state."
"What are you-" Rainbow began, but Sunset, Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie picked her up and carried her outside. "Hey, what are you doing?"
She soon saw it. A bathtub in the middle of the backyard, with a plug on one of its walls. And it was full of soapy water.
"I got a backyard bathtub after Rarity and I gave Applejack a bath," said Pinkie. "This is gonna be so fun! We can give each other baths all the time!"
"Let me go!" said Rainbow Dash. "I don't need a bath!"
"Actually, you do," said Twilight. "On three. One... two... three!"
They threw Rainbow Dash into the tub. Rainbow Dash was coughing and sputtering.
"All right, I'm clean now."
"Not quite yet," said Rarity.
Applejack and Sunset held Rainbow Dash while Rarity poured a bucket of water over her hair and started to lather it with shampoo, and Fluttershy and Pinkie scrubbed each of her sides. Rainbow resisted, but Applejack and Sunset firmly held her in place. Once Rarity was done washing Rainbow's hair, Twilight scrubbed her back.
Soon, Rainbow's top half was covered in suds. "There, now rinse me off and let's continue the party."
"Oh, no," said Rarity. "Your lower half took most of the damage."
"Say what?"
Applejack and Sunset got Rainbow Dash into position, with Applejack holding her back and Sunset holding her feet, and Rarity started to scrub her rear while Pinkie and Fluttershy each scrubbed one of her legs. Rainbow splashed a bit, but Applejack and Sunset held her tight.
When this was done, Applejack got Rainbow back into sitting position.
"All right, now are we done?" said Rainbow Dash.
"Almost," said Rarity.
Pinkie and Twilight grabbed Rainbow's feet, and Rarity and Fluttershy each scrubbed one of them.
"Now all we have to do is rinse you off and we're done," said Rarity. "Step out of the tub."
Rainbow stood up and stepped out of the tub onto the grass. As Rarity drained the water, Pinkie took the hose and sprayed Rainbow Dash with warm water, rinsing the soap off her and soaking Rarity as well.
"Pinkie Pie!" said Rarity.
"Sorry, Rarity."
"It's all right, this was rather refreshing, and it's not mud."
"That wasn't so bad, was it?" said Applejack.
"It was all right," said Rainbow Dash. "If you REALLY want you could do that to me again, but don't expect me to like it." In reality, she did.
They hung around outside until the sun dried Rainbow Dash and Rarity, and they walked back inside.
And from then on, they'd often give each other baths like this. It became one of their traditions.
