Episode 3: Spring Breakdown

Today, all the students from Canterlot College were going on a yacht for Spring Break. It was Celesto and Twilight's gift for the students and boy did they like it! Everyone packed for the trip and now they were all on board the yacht.. well almost everyone. "Are you sure you don't want to come, Sapphire?" Sunset asked.

"No I'm sure. I'll watch over Applejack and I not fond of boats." Sapphire replied. It was true. Sapphire didn't really like boats let alone a yacht and Applejack had a tendency to get seasick so she decided to stay behind as well. Castor and Leilani were staying with Sapphire since their Auntie Luna was going on the yacht as well.

"You'll look after them, right?" Celestia asked.

"They'll be fine, Principal Celestia. I have my dragons and your dragon there as well. And I have Sarah. Nothing's going to happen to them. I promise." Celesita sighed and her husband came up to her. "Don't worry honey." he said. "Sapphire will take good care of them." Celesto gave Sapphire a satellite telephone so he could contact her out on the open waters.

Sapphire smiled at them. Soon everything was ready and the yacht set sail out on the ocean. When the yacht was completely out of sight, Sapphire turned her attention to the kids. "So what do you two wanna do first?"

"Can we explore your castle?" Castor asked.

"Please." Leilani added.

Sapphire smiled, "Alright."

"Yeah!"

Meanwhile on the yacht, Sunset and the others were admiring the ocean waters. Dolphins were leaping out of the water and the water glistened in the sunlight. "This is so awesome. Thanks Twilight." Rainbow said.

"Hehe, it's wasn't just me. Mr. Grandruler helped too." Twilight said.

"As I said. Nothing's too good for my students." Celesto replied. While the others talked, Sunset just blankly stared into the water and she thought she saw something. It looked like a lightning bolt materialized in the water but it suddenly vanished. "Weird? I thought I saw... Maybe it was just nothing. It would be great not to experience and Equestrian Magic mishap on a day like this." Sunset walked away from the rim but the symbol reappeared in the water and this time, the symbol glowed brightly and storm clouds began to form.

Back at Mystic Island, the children were getting a tour of Sapphire's castle and they loved every minute of it. They went "ooo" and "aaah" the whole time and Sapphire and Applejack chuckled at the two small kids. They rode of Snowflake and rubbed her neck, making the Light Fury purred in comfort.

"Hehe, Snowflake is fun." Leliani cooed.

"Yes, yes she is." Sapphire said.

Applejack came on, "So what do you kids wanna do next?"

Castor and Leliani thought for a moment. "Lunch!"

Sapphire and Applejack chuckled. "Alright then." Sapphire whistled and Midnight came. She mounted Midnight while Applejack, Castor and Leilani mounted Snowflake. "Let's go!" The two Strike Class Dragons flew out of the castle and towards the city with the children laughing the whole way.

Back on the yacht, Sunset and the others were in the dining area that was as large as their cafeteria. Sunset was busy picking at her food. "Sunst, darling, what's the matter?" Rarity asked.

"Just worried about Sapphire and Applejack." Sunset admitted.

"Stop worrying Sunset. They're fine. They have the dragons and Sarah there to watch them." Rainbow Dash reassured. Sunset sighed. "But still..." Celesto, Luna and Celestia came over, having heard their conversation. "Sunset, we understand your concern, but you have to remember Sapphire has grown up since we've all met her." Celestia stated.

"She wouldn't be who she is today if it weren't for you all." Celesto added. Sunset nodded and smiled a little. Sapphire did grow with her friends by her side. When they first met her, she was a scared humans frightening b society cause she was a hybrid but with Sunset and the others help, she grew out of her shell and embraced her hybrid abilities and became a very powerful friend and ally.

"I guess you're right." Sunset stated. Everyone smiled when suddenly the ship jerked to the right. "Woah!" Rainbow said. "What was that?" The adults went above deck to the outside and saw dark storm clouds and lighting coming from the sky. "There's not suppose to be a storm all week!" Twilight exclaimed. A crew member came to them, "The Captain can't control the steering!" he cried.

Lightning crashed into the water and thunder boomed in the air all around the yacht. "This storm isn't normal!" Pinkie exclaimed in fear.

"It had to be Equestrian Magic!" Rainbow added. "Oh man!"

"Hey well things can't get worse right?" Fluttershy said nervously. Suddenly the lights in the yacht went out and the engine cut out. "The power went out!" the crew member exclaimed. Just then, the ship started getting pushed around by the rather large waves. Sunset and the others fell down. "You had to ask! What do we do?!" Artie exclaimed.

"Let's try to transform!" Sunset suggested. The others agreed but when they tried to transform, nothing was happening. "Hey!" Artie pressed his energizer but it sparked a little. "What's wrong with our energizers?"

Twilight took out her magic detector. "The storm is blocking any magic from coming in!"

"Just great!" The ship jerked again. "Now what?"

"Darling." Celestia said to her husband. "Right." Celesto took out his satellite telephone. "Sapphire, Sapphire come in...." What no one noticed was a familiar large, metallic, blue and white shark seeing the whole thing and swimming towards Mystic Island.

Castor and Leliani were back at the castle eating some McDonalds, curtsy of Sapphire and Applejack. Sapphire and Applejack were eating some chicken and rice. "Thank you Sapphire." the children thanked. Sapphire grinned, "You're welcome."

"I wonder how the others are doing?" Applejack wondered.

"I'm sure they're fine on the yacht. I mean what could happen?" Sapphire asked. Just then...

"Sapphire, Sapphire, come in.."

Sapphrie grabbed her satillite telephone. "Mr. Grandruler? What's wrong?"

"Sapphire we're caught in a magical storm in the ocean and the yacht has lost power." Applejack and the children gasped. They could heard lightning in the background and people screaming. "Sunset and the others can't transform cause the storm is blocking their magic. We need you and Applejack. Hurry!" Just then, the telephone cut off.

"Jumpin' Junebugs, we gotta get to them." Applejack said.

"But they're far out in the sea and if the storm is as bad as he said. It will be too risky taking the dragons out. We need something stronger." Sapphire said. Suddenly there was a large splash from outside. "What the-?" Sapphire and Applejack looked out the window and gasped. "No way!" The two raced outside followed by the children. They raced to the beach's edge and saw. "Megalodon Zord!"

Indeed the large shark Zord was swimming towards them and came up on the beach. Sapphire rubbed his snout. "It' good to see you boy, Our friends are in grave danger and we need to find them." Megalodon Zord growled, "You saw them?! Can you take us to them?" Megalodon Zord nodded and opened it mouth. Castor and Leilani wanted to go but Sapphire said, it's too dangerous for them so they had to stay with the dragons and Sarah.

With the children secured, Applejack transformed and so did Sapphire. "Oh wait, Marla, Bronc, Keto!" Vulcan's former minions appeared by Sapphire, "Yes Sapphire?" Marla asked.

"The gang are in danger and I need your help as well to rescue them."

"You can count on us." Bronc said.

Together they entered the Zord and Sapphire sat at the controls. "Let's go boy!" Megalodon Zord roared and wiggled off the beach, back into the ocean and rocketed off.

The yacht was getting carried away by the large waves and everyone was on the deck, holding on to the railing. "Gah, where are Sapphire and Applejack!" Rainbow yelled.

"I'm sure they're on their way." Buddy said.

Then felt another jerk and a large screeching sound. "What the heck was that?!" Dyno asked. Myte looked below and gasped. "Rocks tore a hole in the ship!"

"WHAT?!" Everyone gasped.

With the large waves the ship was quickly filling up with water. Fluttershy gasped. "We're sinking!"

"Oh man, if only we could transform!" Sunset groaned.

"Well we can't so now what do we do?" Rainbow exclaimed.

Suddenly, a loud roar was heard over the storm. "What was that?" Sunset asked. Everyone went to the railing and saw something large coming for the ship, but as it got closer, everyone's hearts began to rise. "Is that...?" Buddy said.

"It is! Megalodon Zord!" Pinkie exclaimed. Everyone cheered as the large shark swam towards the ship with no problem and it came right beside the yacht. The dorsal fin popped open revealing the minions. "Get in if you wanna live!" Marla yelled. One by one the people leaped in the Zord now only Sunset, Luna, Celestia and Celesto were left. The ship suddenly jerked to the side. "Woah." Sunset and Luna grabbed the railing again but the momentum knocked the Celestia and Celesto overboard! "NO!" Sunset cried.

"Mr. Grandruler, Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna!" Artie cried. They couldn't see them in the water. "Oh man! What now?" Rainbow cried. "They can't last long in that storm!"

"I'm going out there!" Sapphire exclaimed.

"WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"Sapphire you can't you can;t use your magic!" Rainbow cried.

"But I still have my animal abilities, they'll be enough for my family!" Sarah said proudly. Sapphire ran out of the control room and the Zord opened it mouth and Sapphire leaping into the sky. "Dolphin power!" and changed into a dolphin. She splashed into the ocean and swam away from the Zord. "Good luck Sapphire." Fluttershy said. Megalodon Zord growled and swam away from the sinking ship and back to Mystic Island.

Sapphire saw searching through the strom, using her echolocation to try and find the Grandrulers' suddenly sound bounced back to her, multiple times. She saw something in the distance. Using her falcon vision she saw. "The Grandrulers!" they were all holding onto a thick log in the rough waters. Sapphire wasted no time swimming over to them.

Celestia gasped in joy, "Sapphire!"

"Get on!" Sapphire said. The two hopped onto her back and she swam at the speed of light out of the storm and soon they were back on Mystic Island where they saw everyone on the beach, cheering as Sapphire brought them onto the shore. When Celestia and Celesto got off, Sapphire changed back into her human self and the two were wrapped in blankets. "Are you two okay?" Rarity asked.

"Yeah, we're okay." Celestia said. "Thanks to Sapphire."

"No problem, I'd do anything for my family." Sapphire said.

"So much for Spring Break." Rainbow groaned. The students looked disappointed. "Now, now, don't be all sad. We can still have a spring break."

"How?"

Sapphire's Castle

Everyone was on the dancefloor dancing to the music in Sapphire's large throne room. There was a refreshment table and everything as well. Everyone was dancing to the music even the dragons! "Awesome idea, Sapphire." Rainbow praised.

"Yeah, heaving Spring Break at your castle, genius!" Applejack added. Marla and the minions moonwalked over to her. "Heck yeah, I never danced like this before! Keto said. He spun around really fast and then moonwalked again. "Hahaha!" Bronc and Marla laughed as they followed him.

Applejack and the girls looked at each other and laughed together at the minions moonwalking.

"Hehehe, thanks." Sapphire said. Sarah was jamming to the music along with the children. Celesto and Celestia were bumping hips with each other to the beat and Snowflake laughed at them in joy while dancing her own way. Everyone was having a great time. Even with the storm and yacht sinking, Spring Break was far from over.
