Interlude: A Purple Princess Appears

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

I open my basement door, this time more quickly, as I am carrying an important package. Twilight Sparkle’s unconscious body lay over my shoulder with a blanket covering her up.

I turn the lights on and close the door. I walk down the steps and stand at the bottom. I look at Pinkie and she looks at me happily, until she realizes something is wrong.

“What do you have there?” Pinkie asks in a shaky voice.

“I told you, you were going to see your friend again,” I say as I pull the blanket off of Twilight Sparkle.

She looks at me horrified, “No no no no no no. Why is she here? What did you do to her? Please just let her go. Aren't I enough for you? Please just let her go.”

Pinkie started crying hard, visibly shaking, begging me to let her go, “please let her go. please.”

I walk over to the middle of the wall and set Twilight down on the floor. I pull a specific brick out of the wall and pull a chain and collar out of the hole. I put the collar around Twilight’s neck and clasp it down, sealing her fate.

Once I back away Pinkie notices the dried blood around Twilight’s horn.

“What did you do to her horn, you monster!” Pinkie demanded in a frail but angry voice as she got to the end of her chain trying to reach me, fuming.

I step closer to her and shove her down on the ground. She yelps in pain from the impact. She groans as she looks up at me, eyes filled with hatred and tears.

“Don’t talk to me like that,” I say menacingly.

She looks over to Twilight with a worried look on her face, still crying.

“All I did was make sure our new friend doesn't cast any magic, that’s it,” I say in a happy tone.

“Have fun with my new medicine. I’ll be back to take both tomorrow,” I say as I head up the stairs. Once at the top I flip off the lights and open the basement door and walk through it, closing it behind me.
