[displaced] THE DRAGONFORGE (Alice's pov)
The Halls of The Changeling Empress
Light pours in as the doors to a great tomb, both organic yet metallic, two equine esk creatures walk through the giant doors, ones large enough to admit a dragon through, one had blue fur with a rainbow mane and tail, the other yellow with grey and black mane and tail similar to the rainbow one both were wearing the same outfit of tan adventure's gear, "do you even know what this place is?" The rainbow one asked while looking at the paintings on the walls in the etchings on the stone pillars, at least, she thinks their stone.
"No clue, but I've heard from rumors and legends that a great artifact lies in here, and that Dr caballeron is looking for it." They hear a snap and clatter, looking down at her hooves the yellow one sees the bones and dried scales of a dragon, stepping backwards the rainbow one steps on something that went crackle and snap, she looked down to see the carapace of what appeared to be a changeling but this one was different it looks more like a warrior then the others she had seen in the past, it had mandibles like a termite and it's carapace was thick like armor, they both were startled by this but they kept going knowing that whatever is in this place was more dangerous than they first believed, as they went forward they saw more bones and carapaces and the further they went the older the remains got, and past every ivory pillar things got older, like it was built from the inside of the mountain, they soon hear what sounds like screaming from up ahead they pause as they see a brown creature like them run past yelling.
"Daring Do run for your life, there are monsters like nothing we have seen before that way!!" They look forward and see a sight of horror, creatures of organic like metal that resemble hydras but smaller and with wings tearing what was the man who ran past's guards, one was still alive and the other a cadaver, the monsters go back into hiding leaving nothing but white bones behind, the two sigh a sigh of relief but one of horror as well, the two started sneaking past, hoping not to wake the beasts of metal. They soon came across another large door, this one seemed stranger than the last, it was made of metal but it looked as though it grew there naturally, they carefully open the door and walk through, each step echoed through the room, before them they saw a beautifully made sarcophagus with strange yet beautiful writing on the sides, as they walk forward the one called Daring Do stepped on a pressure plate, with a clack and a whirring sound two of the metal monsters that resemble timber wolves came out of the walls and stood in front and behind them, the rainbow one and Daring Do tremble with fear as the beasts begin to circle them, with resounding thuds and clacks the beasts would glare at them, almost as though they were waiting for them to make the first move, the beasts eyes begin to glow with a erie red.
"back away slowly Rainbow Dash, if they attack we want to be as close to the exit as possible." Daring Do said to the one rainbow one.
"But what if they're faster than us?"
"Let's hope they aren't." The two begin to slowly walk towards the exit when suddenly the beasts stop and the room flashes green, the creatures eyes begin to glow yellow and the one next to Rainbow Dash speaks.
"Subject identified, welcome back Commander Hurricane Dash." The metal wolves sit down and seem almost like dogs happy to see their master after she came home from work.
"... Well they just took a 180." Daring Do said, waving a hand in front of the one next to her's eyes, it beeps.
"Subject identified, welcome back Sargent Tempest Dash." It said, now it looks happier than when Dash was called Commander Hurricane, "we are glad you both could return."
"What's going on?" Rainbow asked, getting more confused by the second.
"I don't know Dash, I really don't know." Said Daring, almost lost in thought trying to figure out why they called them Commander Hurricane and Sargent Tempest.
"Would you like an update?" The one by Rainbow asked, tilting its head.
"Yes please?" Said Daring.
"Beginning update, it has been 1,708 years, 9 months, 27 days, and 20 hours since you last visited, the forge has grown up to 190.6 miles since last update, mines are at 60% capacity, Alice went into cryo stasis 123,487,509 years ago from today, she left a message, would you like to hear it?"
"Sure." Said Rainbow, the one that was next to Daring went to a pedestal and pushed a button, a metallic arm with three claws came down from the ceiling, it opened and a light came out of the tips of the claws, the light made a figure similar to them but without hooves, it had yellow and red hair with strange clothes.
"I liiiiive!! Now tell me who needs an ass whooping?" The strange creatures of light said, scaring the shit out of Rainbow and Daring, "hahahahaha I'm kidding I'm kidding, I can't do much at the moment," it leans in, "I'm a hologram, we can't touch things," she says as she pokes Rainbow in the nose, " though you would know that if you were actually Commander Hurricane and Sargent Tempest, but your not, you are Rainbow Dash and Daring Do."
"How did you know our names?" Asked Rainbow.
"My creator's creations listen." She said with a cheeky grin.
"Your creator?" Asked Daring.
" Alice J. Turner, one of two humans to live on this world."
"Humans?" Questioned Rainbow
"What are humans?" Asked Daring.
"Well, humans are an advanced space faring race who are warlike but they seek peace, if you want to know what one looks like look at me, I am designed after the female human."
"What are they like?" Rainbow said
"Sit down, let this old woman tell you a tale…"
