Dear Diary,

Yep, Hearth's Warming Eve once more. I swear, these things come faster every year. Anyways, today, me and Twilight learned the most shocking thing we've ever heard in our entire lives. Seems Starlight was planning on just skipping the holiday! I know, right?! I know that mare has had a few screws loose here and there, but skipping out on Hearth's Warming Eve? The madmare! Anyways, being the much smarter mare in this situation, Twilight took it upon herself to teach Starlight the value of the holiday by telling her this story about a crotchety old mare from way back when who also didn't like the day.

It was a lot of fun to listen to, and even more fun to see Twilight get sucked into her own story. I mean you should've seen her singing in some of those moments, it was hilarious! All the same though, by the time it was over, Starlight had changed her tune, and now she's celebrating Hearth's Warming with all the rest of us. Hey, the more the merrier, right?

I'm glad she's joining us though, because I do not want to run the risk of having a holiday-hating mare who'll just attract three weird ghosts to us!
