Dear Diary,

Tonight was the night of the newly-named Amity Ball, hosted right here at the Friendship School. Twilight arranged the whole thing and we all got together to make sure it was the best party it could possibly be. Pinkie had a blast getting everything right of course, and who else but yours truly was chosen to be the music guy for the night. And let me tell you, I put down some pretty nifty beats tonight, not that I like to brag about it or anything. But, the biggest event of the night was undoubtedly Yona, who caused quite a stir when she tried her best to fit in by doing all the things ponies usually do at this thing. As you can probably expect, it didn't really end up all that well for her, and she was really upset about it.

Thankfully, one of her friends was there to cheer her up. Sandbar, who was actually the one who asked her to the dance to begin with, managed to convince her to re-join the party. After everything was smoothed over, we all got together and tried out this awesome new Yak dance Yona showed us. It was really fun. Oh, and let's not beat around the bush here. Sandbar totally has a thing for Yona. You know it, I know it, they know it, everycreature knows it. And let me tell you, they do make a pretty cute couple.

And hey, if a pony and a yak can get together, then maybe the idea of a certain dragon getting together with a certain unicorn isn't so wild a thing to think about. Claws crossed.
