Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, my good friend Peewee came over for a visit! I know I said I'd spend more time with him, but with everything that's been happening lately, it just feels like there isn't enough time in the day for me to get together with him. The solution? Easy, he came to me. It's kinda weird having him here and not in the wild, but he seems happy enough. I did have to promise Twilight not to let him near her books though, since Phoenixes and paper probably don't mix. Anyway, we're having a really fun time together, and it's great being able to fly around with him these days.

We even had a fun little moment when we were out on the castle's balcony together. There was some kind of ruckus over in the direction of Fluttershy's animal sanctuary. Me and Peewee sort of knew that Fluttershy's rabbit was involved somehow, but we also felt confident that she could put right whatever that little guy was doing. And hey, even Twilight managed to hang out with Peewee for once, which was great. I'm not sure if she's ever even spoken two words to him before, but at least they're spending time together now.

Animals really are great, and I do envy Fluttershy being able to spend her whole day around them. It's a lot of work though, and I hope she gets all the appreciation we can give for it.
