Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Hey there, old friend. We've had a lot of fun together, haven't we? Talking about all the great and exciting stuff that's happened since Twilight and me first moved to Ponyville. But now, well, things have changed. After everything that's happened, Twilight has finally taken that last step. Yes, you heard right, our beloved bookworm is finally the ruler of all Equestria. If you'd have told me all those years ago that this would be what would have happened to her, I'd have called you crazy. But now? Now, I honestly couldn't imagine anything else for her.

But things don't just stop there. Her friends may not be together as they used to, what with all they're gonna have to do these days, but they have every intention of continuing to stay in touch and work together for the good of Equestria. And you know what? I'll be right there along to help them, just as I always have. But the thing is, that's gonna leave me kinda busy. Too busy to really keep making entries into you like I've been doing. I know, I'm sorry. I've been really happy having you to come to whenever something good happens, but I guess, like with Twilight's time in Ponyville, everything had to end eventually.

We've had a good run though, haven't we? I took a look back at all the times I've written in you, just before I started writing this one, and I couldn't help but smile at it all. There are so many wonderful memories, such happy times in here. I'm gonna keep you, Diary, and you'll be with me whenever I want to look back at this great time in my life. Just like my memories of being with Twilight and my friends. This is a change, sure, but we're all changing now, aren't we?
