Dear Diary,

Today, I went over to Carousel Boutique, ready to help Rarity out with some of her chores as usual. But when I got there, I found that she was really, really unhappy about something. Pinkie was there too, and together, the two looked really hurt. I asked what was wrong, and all they said was that it involved Fluttershy and that they didn't want to get me involved with it. I couldn't imagine what Fluttershy of all ponies could have done to upset them like this, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with that new guy who turned up not so long ago. His name is Iron something-or-other and he basically gives lectures about being tougher and more assertive. Now, I like Fluttershy, but there's no question that getting more assertive is something she needs more of in her life.

But I don't know what happened between that and whatever Rarity and Pinkie were brought down by. Did Fluttershy say something bad to them? Did she insult them? no, of course not. This is Fluttershy we're talking about, and she's not like that.

Still, whatever it was, Rarity and Pinkie left soon afterwards. I don't know what is was they were planning to do, but I hope it fixes whatever problems the three were going through.
