Dear Diary,

I may not spend too much time with the Crusaders, but that doesn't mean I can't tell when one of them is in a bad way. And trust me, Scootlaoo was in a bad way today. She and the others were supposed to be coming up with a performance for the upcoming Equestria Games, but Scootaloo was looking just so sad today. After I asked her, it seems she was made fun of for her inability to fly. I won't say who made fun, but you can probably guess. I'm so mad at those two right now. Who do they think they are making her upset like this?! So she can't fly, so what? Does that give them the right to devastate her like this? No, it doesn't!

Ugh, anyway, I knew it was at least worth trying to cheer her up, so I sat with her and talked with her about it. I knew I wouldn't have much luck, because if her closest friends couldn't help her what chance did I have? She was so unhappy about being unable to fly, and I don't know what made me do it, but I just mentioned how I couldn't fly either. She looked at me weirdly, and I basically explained that dragons can usually fly and, well, I can't. So I sorta knew what she felt like.

I don't know if that did anything meaningful. but she smiled and said "thanks" to me for it. I know I probably won't be the one to really settle this fr her, but it was good to help all the same.
