Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, I have absolutely nothing to do. Now, I enjoy a good busy day as much as the next dragon, but I love times when I can just kick back and enjoy doing nothing. And where might I be right now, you may ask? Reading in the library? Hanging out with the other colts and fillies of the town? Nope! I'm just laying on the grass on a nice sunny hill looking everything over. And I know I won't be interrupted up here because Twilight and the others are all greeting somepony new to town. Pinkie's sister! Yeah, her name is Maud and this is her first time in Ponyville. Now, you may ask why I'm not going over to say hi, and the reason is, well, I'm sorta worried about meeting another Pie.

Don't get me wrong, I like Pinkie plenty, but just one of her is enough to exhaust me most of the time, and the thought of there being two mares like her around here is just way too much for me. Maybe I'll go and meet this Maud person later, but right now, I'm just gonna enjoy a nice long nap.

So, if you'll excuse me, nap I shall.
