Rarity was in Carousel Boutique doing some stretching as her back was all stiff, even if she didnt like exercising she had to admit that it was good to do.
After Rarity was done her sister came into her room, Rarity turned to look at her and sighed.
"You could have announced that you here instead of sneaking up on me." Rarity said as she scolded her sister.
"Sorry Rarity I just didnt think about it." Sweetie Belle said.
"Where have you been? Did you just get out of school?" Rarity asked.
"I got out of the Ponyville school house and went to see Twilight, I talked to her about some stuff..." Sweetie Belle began to say.
Rarity raised an eyebrow as she wanted to know what Sweetie Belle meant by that.
"What kind of stuff?" Rarity asked her sister. Sweetie Belle wrung her hands nervously as she prepared to spill the secret.
"About her speech...and Islam in general..." Sweetie Belle mentioned in a hesitant voice. Rarity softened her expression.
"Well that's perfectly fine! Your allowed to know about that stuff. Was the discussion to deep hon?" Rarity asked gently. Sweetie Belle shook her head.
"No....It wasnt." Sweetie Belle said as she looked away again. Rarity smiled.
"Well that's wonderful darling...darling what's wrong? Is there something you want to tell me?" Rarity asked her sister as she saw the way that she was acting.
"I want to convert to Islam Rarity." Sweetie Belle said with a shaky voice, Sweetie Belle cried for a couple of moments and then Rarity spoke.
"Sweetie Belle stop crying! Why are you sad?" Rarity asked her.
"Im... I'm scared that you'll disown me for wanting to convert!" Sweetie Belle sobbed. Rarity came over to her and wrapped her up in a hug.
"Why would I do that!? I could never disown my own sister! I think what you want to do is perfectly fine!" Rarity said in a soothing voice.
"You....you really think so!?" Sweetie Belle sobbed.
"Yes! Theres nothing wrong with wanting to join a faith! I'm not mad at you!" Rarity said with a smile. Sweetie Belle wiped her tears away and sobbed.
"I was afraid that you were one of those people who hated Islam." Sweetie Belle cried.
"No I'm not like those intolerant jerks! You know how open minded I am! I dont have any problem with you wanting to convert and I dont hate you for doing it either. I love you no matter what Sweetie Belle!" Rarity declared.
Sweetie Belle felt alot better hearing that, Sweetie Belle stopped hugging Rarity and Rarity stopped hugging Sweetie Belle.
"If you want we can go talk to Twilight....would that help you?" Rarity asked. Sweetie Belle grinned.
"Of coarse I would thank you so much!" Sweetie Belle declared. Rarity smiled and brought her over to Twilight's castle and knocked on the door and Twilight came to the door and opened it.
"Twilight are you free? Sweetie Belle needs your help." Rarity said. Twilight smiled and opened the door.
"Sure come on in!" Twilight said, Rarity and Sweetie Belle both stepped inside and all three of them sat down.
"So what brings you two here today? Spike is out somewhere so I have extra time to talk to you girls if you want." Twilight said. Rarity smiled and nudged Sweetie Belle gently and looked at her.
"Go on!" Rarity encouraged. Sweetie Belle got very nervous, she gulped and did her best to say what she wanted to say.
"I want to join Islam...but I have questions about it because I want to know everything about it before I convert." Sweetie Belle said.
"Well you've come to the right place. As a Muslim and Celestia's former pupil who reads books I can answer every single question on the faith that you have." Twilight said.
"You dont mind?" Sweetie Belle said with a gulp. Twilight shook her head.
"Not in the slightest, I help anybody in need. What is it that you need to know so that I can help you along in deciding on being part of the faith." Twilight asked. Sweetie Belle took a deep breath and spoke.
"Why do women have to wear head coverings and if I join the faith do i have to wear one as well?" Sweetie Belle asked, Twilight chuckled and leaned back.
"Well....for starters it's not called a head covering, it may be described as that but that's not the name for it. The thing your thinking of is called a Hijab and...theres several types of it but I'm not going to go through them all because its confusing...um what it is is it's a head covering and some covers the face." Twilight explained as best as she could.
Sweetie Belle took in this information and came up with a new question as she only got more questions after that.
"Why though? What's the point of it" Sweetie Belle said.
"Well a muslim woman wears a veil in the presence of any male outside of the immediate family. Although I dont wear one in public because I'm the princess of Equestria."
"Thanks Twilight I was worried about that part....I have one more question...if that's okay." Sweetie Belle said.
"Its fine go ahead." Twilight said.
"If I do decide to follow the religion how long until i can convert?" Sweetie Belle said.
"Honestly theres no agreed time table but you should at least take a good amount of time to learn about the faith though. Twilight said.
"Does that answer all of your questions Sweetie Belle?" Rarity asked.
"No I have one more question...sorry!" Sweetie Belle apologized.
"No worries go ahead and say it." Twilight said.
"How can you be a Muslim but use the magic of the elements of harmony in order to save Equestria? Isnt magic haram?" Sweetie Belle asked. Twilight rolled her eyes she should of known this question was coming.
"That question is moot due to the fact that the elements protect Equestria....it doesnt matter how much its forbidden so if muslims want to rally against the elements of harmony then by all means they can but they should be reminded of all the times the elements have saved Equestria by me and my friends. And besides I dont honestly think any of the scholars of the Islamic faith care anymore since its widely accepted that without the elements Equestria is doomed. The elements have been used to defeat Nightmare Moon twice, Discord twice and so many others I cant count. I think the scholars are thanking me not condemning me." Twilight explained.
Sweetie Belle nodded as she was glad to have learned so much from Twilight. Twilight grabbed a book and handed it to Sweetie Belle.
"If you have more questions then this book will help you. Do you have any more questions for me? Twilight asked.
"No I dont. Thanks Twilight." Sweetie Belle said cheerfully. She hugged Twilight and Rarity walked up to her.
"Thanks Twilight. I appreciate you talking to her." Rarity said.
"No problem. That book should help to. Thanks for dropping by!" Twilight said. Rarity nodded and left.
"Your welcome." Rarity said as she left. After that Rarity left Twilight's castle with Sweetie Belle as Twilight watched, Twilight hoped that Sweetie Belle would find out all that she can and decide whether she wanted to convert ot not. She was so happy that Twilight had the time to talk to her.
