Far in the badlands is a place called bladewood grove, a place of beauty and grace...but a place of death as well for the trees themselves are dangerous for their leaves can cut though the strongest armor. So long ago the princess shortly after banishing her sister walked the groves off from the rest of equestra and placed a spell to hide the grove for their were something that lived in the groves. Many things...dangrous things...that lived their and would protect their home if the leafs didn't do so. Creatures that even the princess was fearful of, she can't even kill them, even if she tried too.

So the princess removed all records of the bladewood groves from all pony maps and labeled it as another large pot of wasteland that was the bad lands.

But she destroy all the maps that had it...

Even the one that is tucked away in twilight's library hiding in one of her books.
