Octavia took a deep breath as she entered the building. From the outside it looked...well average, honestly. A normal building with a big window featuring it's name and what they did. "Painless Poke's Tattoo and Piercing emporium. She noted that this building was far from being an actual emporium as it was far too small.
"So... we gonna just stand here or we gonna go in?" As always Vinyl had a way with words. A blunt way, completely without finesse. But an effective way none the less.
"Ah. Yes. I was merely admiring the establishment. At least their name is promising." She pointed out.
"Heh. Yeah. She's a good mare. Now. I'm going to warn you. It's not truly painless. But she's great at making it as painless as possible ." She warned, sighing as she felt the arm that Octy had wrapped around her own tense. "Hey. You said you wanted to do this. You told me-"
"I told you to not let me back out of this." She said, repeating her words from a week ago as she tightened her hold on her lovers arm.
"exactly. Now let's go in. We have an appointment" She said as she pulled the taller earth pony forward, into the building. "Hey Pokey!"
A groan came from deeper inside before a purple unicorn mare with a dark blue wavy, medium length mane came around the corner "I told you so many times Vin. That's my brother's name. "
"So, what? Call you pain like some edgy teen?" Vinyl asked with a smirk
"Literally anything besides Pain and Pokey." She replied as she grabbed clean gloves and looked Octavia over. "So this is the fabled Octavia Melody, huh?"
"So, green beans then. Got it" Vinyl teased before ignoring Poke's groan and backing away a little and showing Octavia off like she was on that TV show with the letters her grandma liked. "You got that right. This here it the one. The only. First chair Cello in the Canterlot Royal Orchestra, mare who makes it hard to walk, the beautiful Octy-pie!" She declared
Before Poke could reply, Octavia gave her dear lover a playful smack" Vinyl. Be a dear and quiet yourself."
Vinyl only chuckled and winked at her "Well, Tavi, you know there's only one thing that plugs my big mouth~"
A cough broke up the couple's banter "Which brings us to why we're here. You have an appointment" Poke pointed
Octavia blushed and nodded "Yes indeed."
She nodded and led them to the back room where she had a soft looking table and two normal chairs "Take a seat on the table." She said and waited for Octavia to do just that which Vinyl took the chair with an audible sigh of relief. Poke raised a brow but shook it off and continued "Now then. I just want to go through everything with you first of all. Vinyl may have a...an annoying habit of messing with me. But since you're here, I don't imagine this is all an elaborate prank."
Octavia rolled her eyes as Vinyl showed no shame in the smirk she wore on her face "Yes. Well, I understand why you may have your reservations but this is something that I decided on. Vinyl may have... pardon the pun, poked me towards this decision. Her own bars always intrigued me and... well I want one though... she had ideas different from her own." She said with a sideways glance towards the mare.
"Hey. Nipples are great and all but Tavi has a lot of space down there. Ya know?" Vinyl defended, still smiling.
"So you've told me." Poke grumbled before sighing "Now then. I'm going to tell you some things ahead of time. There will be a little pain. It will take some time to get used to it and if you're going to do anything with it-" She glanced towards Vinyl
"Nah, we're good. We got it all out of our systems last night" She said with a wink to Octy "Heck. I barely made the walk here"
"Please stop talking" Octavia requested with a deep blush.
"Right. Well, if you do. Wear a condom. You have to keep the area clean as possible. I'll go over more specifics afterwards. In the meantime. Let's get the guest of honor out" She said with a chuckle
Octavia felt like she was as red as a crab right now as she gently took the skirt that Vinyl had told her to wear as, it's going to come off anyway. It'd be like if I bothered wearing clothes on our anniversary.
Poke Looked over what she was seeing. She was a professional and had seen plenty of genitalia in her job. Octavia was certainly on the bigger end but from what she could see... Vinyl's measurements she'd sent ahead might be right on the dot. "And you're fine with the bar ?" She asked as she brought the bar over to show. It was a thick-ish metal bar. Nothing amazing about it with white balls on the ends.
Octavia nodded softly "Y-yeah. I chose that. I thought it would show up good against the color of... it." She explained and it was true. Her shaft and balls were a dark leathery black.
"Right. That sounds good. Now. We need to get you semi-erect."
Vinyl looked about ready to jump out of her seat but Octavia spoke up first "She said semi. As in, not full."
Vinyl pouted and got back down into her seat before quickly perked up. "Hey. Do you remember that one time? After your performance? Around fall." She said vaguely
Octavia looked confused for a moment before her eyes widened as she remembered and she felt a twinge down below
"Dang. That was awesome. Just the way it all worked out so perfectly! I mean, who else can say we say they royal princess'-"
"That should be good enough." Poke interjected as she grabbed a few things and pressed the bar against her shaft to test the dimensions. "Looks like you got the size right on the dot" She said, causing Vinyl to puff up in pride "Now then. I'm going to clean up and disinfect the area. It might be a little cold but just... think about whatever it was she was saying"
Octavia let out a little squeak as she felt the disinfectant but did as recommended and thought of that time Vinyl had been talking about while the area was cleaned thoroughly. the whole process was just building anticipation
"Now. The next steps I clamp the skin and we'll put the bar in with the needle. Then the ball end goes on, we clean up and you're pretty much done" She said, hoping that would calm the mare down a bit.
While it didn't sound like there was much left, Octavia was still tense. She'd never done this before and it was... scary. But then she felt something familiar as Vinyl grabbed her hand. "Hey babe. I'm right here."
Octavia focused on the feeling of her hand and her words. Vinyl was often loud. abrasive, blunt, shameless and many other adjectives. But times like this she was reminded that wasn't all there was to the unicorn. She could be soft. She could be kind. She was oh, so loving.
"Just focus on me, alright?" She said as Poke's horn lit and encompassed the area where the bar would go which would reduce the pain considerably. Luckily, Vinyl's words were having the desired effect of relaxing Octavia so she only made a little squeak as the needle went in, followed by the bar.
It felt weird. But just as Vinyl and Painless had promised, while painful was a far cry from her imagination. Only a moment later she was deftly screwing the ball onto the open end of the bar.
"You did very well" Poke said as she cleaned the area up with salt water and put gauze on the area "and it was quite the treat to see Vinyl act so adorable"
Vinyl pouted but didn't let go of Octavia's hand "Yeah yeah. Shut up." She said as it was finally her turn to blush.
"Octavia chuckled as she brought Vinyl's hand her her lips and kissed it "My sweet mare~" She teased, which only made her blush more.
Poke chuckled at the cute display and shook her head gently. "Now. I want you two to come back in a week so we can do a checkup and make sure it's all taking right." She said as she turned around and grabbed a piece of paper "And I have a list of do's and don't's while it's healing"
Octavia nodded seriously as she took the paper and read it over. It was simple things but they were important to keep in mind. "I understand. Thank you for all your work"
Poke chuckled and nodded "Well I mean you paid me but I was happy to do it. You never want to get a piercing, let alone your first one from anywhere that's not reputable. So keep me in mind if you ever get more."
Octavia chuckled as she carefully stood, putting her skirt on again. "Well I doubt that'll happen but I will. Thank you. Now, speaking of payment. Shall we?"
Poke nodded with a smile. Something told her that Octavia would be back for more. She wasn't sure what it was. "Of course. My office is this way" She said as she led the couple away from the new experience they shared.
