When answering the door in the middle of the night while living alone on the edge of a small village in the middle of nowhere, you would think nothing bad would happen, right? Oh well, at least you get to live in a land where there are no ruling sisters, three tribes and rumored other tribes of a pony like creatures in some of the more remote areas and griffon raiders from the ruined Griffon Empire who all want control of the land you called Equestria and it's resources. And the only thing you have is your wits, as you didn't have the time to or knowledge you were going for a trip to a more violent version of your home. And at least there are no Wendigos to freeze the land or Changelings to suck the love out your body.
