The Wrath of Sombra

Upon arrival in the Crystal Empire, and after going through security, the Christians met up with Cadence at the palace. She led them up to the highest window, and they were able to see the point where the meteor had landed. After getting their supplies ready for analysis of the site, Brandon, Colin, Link, and Fraaz set off on their quest. They could see where the crystal had split open, and they were about to get a sample. Suddenly, a bolt flew from part of the crystal. Link pulled out an energy stabilizer, and caught the spark to keep it constant.

"NOW!", he yelled.

Brandon used a strong receptacle to collect the energy, and put it in his backpack. Then, the stallion appeared out of nowhere and zapped them. Fraaz was unharmed, but the others were knocked unconscious. Colin had managed to shoot a picture of the stallion before he was zapped. After reviving his shipmates, Fraaz led them back to the palace to discuss their findings. She would be in for a shock.

"We think this may be dark magic.", Brandon explained.

He was correct, because the energy had ridiculously high readouts, and it had a color between purple and black.

"This is not good at all.", Shining said worriedly.

Colin's picture shook Cadence to the core when she looked at it.

"We must maximize our security. He must not have any way of getting into our kingdom.", she said in a shaking voice.
