One day after class had finished Cheerilee was going over to see Pinkie Pie to talk to her for a bit.
Cheerilee remembered back to when she had search everywhere for Lyra, she didnt know why she could still remember that incident as it was a while ago.
Once Cheerilee made it to Sugarcube Corner she noticed Pinkie Pie practicing a dance routine on a mat she placed outside in barefoot in a long sleeved dance catsuit.
As Cheerilee watched her she was impressed by how good Pinkie Pie was at dancing. Pinkie Pie had been going to classes for a while now and was an expert at this point.
Cheerilee always wondered how Pinkie Pie could stand wearing long dance wear. It must make her hotter than she should be.
Cheerilee wanted to ask Pinkie Pie why she didnt wear shorter workout clothing for her lessons but decided not to as it would be rude.
After dancing for a while Pinkie Pie stopped and turned the music off and turned around to see the school teacher. Pinkie Pie wiped the sweat off her face and spoke.
"Were you ogling me?" Pinkie giggled as she took a sip of water. Cheerilee blushed as she realized how perverted she looked by just standing there waiting to get a chance to speak.
"No I wasnt! I just wanted to come see you...why are you practicing outside?" Cheerilee asked. Pinkie Pie grinned.
"Its okay I was just teasing you. I know you would never do that. This is the only place I can practice right now. The dance center is closed for repairs so I'm here instead. I had no idea you were going to show up." Pinkie said as she sat inside. Cheerilee followed her in and Pinkie Pie drank some water.
Cheerilee was embarressed for her mistake in not warning Pinkie she was coming to see her ahead of time. It had thrown off Pinkie's schedule.
"Sorry for barging in on you like that. I should have given you a warning I was coming but I didnt think about it." Cheerilee said.
"Dont worry about it. I need a break anyway. So what brings you here?" I Pinkie Pie asked.
"I wanted to talk to you if that's okay...." Cheerilee asked as she looked at Pinkie Pie while Pinkie Pie watched her.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Pinkie asked.
"Well how much time do you have for me? I don't want to cut into the time you have set aside for yourself." Cheerilee said.
"Well if you need a few minutes I'm all ears just dont make this be an all day thing. I want to practice for a bit more since I need to spend more time practicing. " Pinkie Pie said with a smile. Cheerilee nodded and spoke.
"I'm thinking back to the time where I searched everywhere for Lyra. It was annoying and i never want to go through something like that again. I'm scared that it will happen again." Cheerilee said as Pinkie gave her a sympathetic look.
"I'm sorry about that. I guess incidents stick with us for the rest of our lives and theres no way we will be able to do away with memories of them." Pinkie said. Cheerilee sighed.
"I know that it's just. I'm scared of it being repeated. I would have to go all over town all over again just to find my friend." Cheerilee said.
Pinkie Pie purses her lips s she thought about what Cheerilee was saying, she knew how Cheerilee felt, she wouldnt be able to stand loosing a friend that was close to her.
"I know what your saying... I wouldnt be able to move on in life if something happened to my friends. They mean the world to me and I will always keep my eye on them to make sure they dont vanish. I dont know what I'll do when they die." Pinkie Pie said.
Cheerilee was shocked to hear this as she didnt expect Pinkie Pie to feel that way, she thought up a polite response as she didnt want to sound like she was rude in addressing this new revelation.
"I didnt know you felt like that, I agree with you. It's a horrible possibility for everyone one who has a friend. I cant stop think about one of my other friends going missing. I hope it never happens again." Cheerilee said.
"I dont think it will...but if it does you can be comforted by the fact that people of Ponyville and Equestria would be able to tell you where your friend went just like that last time." Pinkie stated.
"Thanks Pinkie Pie. You made me feel better about it. I wanted to explain it to Twilight but I don't think she she would understand." Cheerilee said.
"Its fine. I'm always here If you need it talk to me." Pinkie Pie mentioned.
After they spoke for a bit more Cheerilee got up to leave as she needed to go. She couldnt be there for a long time.
"Well I have to go. Be aware of your surroundings since you never know when a storm can come and wreak havoc on Ponyville. Hopefully we can meet up again sometime in the future and talk more." Cheerilee warned. Pinkie Pie stood up as well.
"I will. Yeah we can do that if you want. You just have to tell me the times when your free and I will just have to tell you the times when I'm free and work with that schedule. Thanks Cheerilee." Pinkie Pie said. Pinkie Pie and Cheerilee hugged eachother and Cheerilee left Sugarcube Corner as she went home while Pinkie Pie went back to practice for a bit more since she wanted to practice for a while longer.
While Cheerilee went home she thought about Lyra and the conversation she had with Pinkie Pie. She wouldnt forget it no matter how many years pass after the conversation as it had been an important one.
